How To Use Rapid Cure Plastisol Ink
Flash and Curing Guidelines
Cure at 132° C/270° FFlash at 82-104° C/180-200°F
Generally it will take 5-10 washes to fully test the cure, but if the ink is seriously under-cured, print will show deterioration after only 1-3 washes. Another quick way to test your print is the “Stretch Test”. Stretch the print approximately 2/3 of the T-shirt; if the print cracks and does not retract back the ink is under-cured.

The Connecticut Green Bank announced the closing of Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) financing for a solar photovoltaic system at Hitchcock Printing & Distribution Services, located at 191 John Downey Drive in New Britain, Connecticut. The system is estimated to save the business more than $1.2 million in avoided energy costs over the next 20 years. Founded in 1904 by Edwin Rogers Hitchcock, the company runs a modern 21,000 ft2 facility with a highly skilled workforce and state-of-the-art equipment to provide printing, creative design, finishing and mailing services.“The addition of our solar system is a key to staying competitive now and in the future,” said Anthony Bracco, president of Hitchcock Printing. “State-of-the-art equipment and a highly trained youthful workforce accompanied with a plan to manage our energy costs will ensure that we have an edge in the years to come.”
The 227-kW system was developed and installed by Smart Roofs Energy.
Since 2013, C-PACE financing has helped building owners complete more than 400 projects for estimated energy cost savings of nearly $420 million. C-PACE financing allows commercial property owners to install green energy upgrades today and pay for them over time, covering up to 100% of costs at low-interest rates with terms up to 25 years.

Solar photovoltaic system will save New Britain printing company $1.2 million
Hitchcock Printing & Distribution Services is implementing the technology to help reduce its energy costs.
NEW BRITAIN, Conn. — Hitchcock Printing & Distribution Services is implementing a solar photovoltaic system at its location on John Downey Drive in New Britain.
The state-of-the-art technology will absorb sunlight and convert it into direct current electricity, which will save the historic business around $1.2 million in energy costs over the next two decades.
The Connecticut Green Bank announced on Thursday the closing of Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy financing, or C-PACE, for the technology to be installed at the 21,000-square-foot facility. Founded by Edwin Rogers Hitchcock in 1904, the company specializes in printing, creative design, finishing and mailing services.
“The addition of our solar system is a key to staying competitive now and in the future,” said Anthony Bracco, president of Hitchcock Printing. “State-of-the-art equipment and a highly trained youthful workforce accompanied with a plan to manage our energy costs will ensure that we have an edge in the years to come.”
The Connecticut Green Bank, a Hartford-based operation that accelerates the green economy by using limited public funds to attract private capital investment, reports that the solar photovoltaic system was developed and installed by Smart Roofs Solar Inc. in Monroe.
C-PACE financing has helped building owners complete more than 400 projects since 2013, leading to an estimated energy savings of close to $420 million. C-PACE financing also enables commercial property owners to install green energy upgrades and pay for them over time, covering up to all the costs at low-interest rates with terms up to 25 years.
Mackey Dykes, vice president of Financing Programs at the Connecticut Green Bank, said that interest is growing in C-PACE financing from energy-intensive businesses that are looking to lessen their energy costs, especially through the addition of solar.
