  • Projected Lineup: January 25 at NY Islanders

ELMONT, N.Y. – One day after they became Hurricanes in a blockbuster three-team trade, Mikko Rantanen and Taylor Hall will debut with their new team on the road against the New York Islanders.

While Rod Brind’Amour did not share pre-game where the two will slot into the team’s lineup, it is entirely possible that the two-time All-Star and 2022 Stanley Cup Champion, Rantanen, slots in next to his fellow Finn, Sebastian Aho.

Another Finn, Jesperi Kotkaniemi will try to find the back of the net for a fourth consecutive game. Should he do so, it would tie his career-best streak, which came during his time in Montreal.

Between the pipes, Pyotr Kochetkov (18-9-2 | 2.47 GAA | .904 SV%) will play his 100th NHL game, backstopping the Carolina Hurricanes against the New York Islanders.

The 25-year-old is 3-0-1 in his last four appearances, picking up wins over top-tier teams in Dallas, Toronto, and Vegas.

  • Projected Lineup: Jan. 25 vs. Dallas

Zack Bolduc will draw back into the lineup – and into the top six – when the St. Louis Blues host the Dallas Stars at Enterprise Center on Saturday night (6 p.m., FanDuel Sports Network, 101 ESPN).

Per Head Coach Jim Montgomery, Bolduc will skate alongside Robert Thomas and Pavel Buchnevich for the Central Division matchup. Nathan Walker will be a scratch.

“It’s a great opportunity for him and a great opportunity for that line to create more offense,” Montgomery said.

Bolduc is in his first full season with the Blues after suiting up for 25 games late last year, but has found himself in and out of the lineup. However the 21-year-old forward sees this as a learning opportunity, and he’s taking advantage of it.

“The point of view is different for sure,” Bolduc said. “You see stuff and you try to learn watching the game upstairs and get little things that veteran guys are doing to make their game easier and create offense. So yeah, it helped me, and I’m still working a lot with the coaches and doing video.”

In addition to talks with Montgomery and the coaching staff, there’s another notable name who is helping Bolduc in his development. Former Blue, Stanley Cup champion and GM-in-waiting Alexander Steen sat with Bolduc during part of Thursday’s game, discussing plays with him and going over video.

“It’s great,” Bolduc said. “I’m a young player and I’ve just got to try to learn every day.”

As he returns to the lineup on Saturday, Bolduc is hoping to bring an offensive spark and take advantage of this opportunity to play with Thomas and Buchnevich.

“Try to play my game. Just got to skate and play fast,” Bolduc said. “I’m playing with two great playmakers, so I’ve got to be ready to shoot every time I’m on the ice.”

Defensive pairings are expected to remain the same and Jordan Binnington will start in net.

The lineup for the upcoming game against the Dallas Mavericks on January 25th is looking strong. Here is the projected lineup:

    Point Guard: Chris Paul
    Shooting Guard: Devin Booker
    Small Forward: Mikal Bridges
    Power Forward: Jae Crowder
    Center: Deandre Ayton

With a mix of veteran leadership and young talent, the Phoenix Suns are ready to take on the Mavericks and come out with a win. Stay tuned for updates on any changes to the lineup before game time. Let’s go Suns! #SunsAtMavs #NBA #ProjectedLineup

  • Shiba Inu (SHIB) Projected to Hit $0.003: A Closer Look at the Timeline and Market Sentiment

This ambitious forecast has stirred conversations across the crypto community, fueled by growing optimism surrounding market conditions and Shiba Inu’s ecosystem developments.

Shiba Inu (SHIB), one of the most prominent meme cryptocurrencies, has captured renewed attention with bullish projections predicting a significant price surge.

While currently trading at $0.00002, analysts foresee SHIB climbing to an impressive $0.003 by 2040.

    Long-Term Projection: $0.003 by 2040

According to a recent report by price prediction platform Changelly, Shiba Inu could reach $0.003 within the next 15 years. This would represent a staggering 15,000% return on investment (ROI) from its current price levels. A $1,000 investment in SHIB today could potentially grow to $151,000 by 2040 if the prediction holds true.

    Changelly

Market experts believe the Shiba Inu (SHIB) price will hit $0.003 by 2040. Source: Changelly

Experts explained further that this could happen based on the fundamentals of growth in the markets, and that includes basic growth of the Shib Inu ecosystem with macro-economic indicators. “It sounds ambitious in the current outlook but underpins long-term gains potentially feasible within very highly volatile digital assets,” said Crypto Analyst Alan Santana.

    Whale Activity and Market Sentiment

Increased whale activity has bolstered optimism for SHIB. Earlier this month, a major whale address transferred 220 billion SHIB (valued at $4.63 million) from Binance, marking a strong show of confidence in the token’s long-term prospects.

Crypto analyst Alan Santana also highlighted SHIB’s bullish trajectory despite recent market corrections. “We’ve seen bearish movements that haven’t altered SHIB’s long-term outlook,” he stated. Santana predicts a potential 600% rally in the short to medium term, citing renewed investor enthusiasm and positive trends observed in other cryptocurrencies like XRP and ADA. In addition, SHIB has continued its token burning strategy.

    Ecosystem Innovations and Community Support

Shiba Inu’s development team has been actively expanding its ecosystem, introducing tokens like TREAT to enhance utility and governance within the Shibarium network. Shytoshi Kusama, SHIB’s lead developer, recently emphasized the project’s commitment to delivering real value to its community. “It’s not just about the community but real technology that keeps us going,” Kusama stated on X, responding to a post by billionaire Mark Cuban lauding SHIB’s long-term prospects.

Despite facing competition from new meme tokens like TRUMP, which briefly surpassed SHIB in market value, the Shiba Inu community remains optimistic. Kusama has hinted at “major developments ahead,” fueling anticipation of advancements that could further solidify SHIB’s position in the crypto market.

    Impact of Broader Market Trends

The inauguration of Donald Trump as U.S. President on January 20, 2025, boosted both stock and cryptocurrency markets. Analysts predict a financial resurgence under Trump’s presidency, which could provide favorable conditions for SHIB’s price growth.

“This could usher in a new financial era in the U.S., benefiting high-potential assets like SHIB,” observed a market analyst. While some speculate a short-term rally tied to the inauguration, others remain focused on SHIB’s long-term trajectory.

    Challenges and Risks Ahead

While the Shiba Inu price forecast looks impressive, it comes with its own share of risks. This token is highly dependent on market sentiment, so it is surely very volatile. Competition in the meme token space is getting more competitive by the minute, with newer entrants vying for investor mindshare.

    Arieyettinurami/TradingView

Shiba Inu (SHIB) price is currently consolidating above the immediate support at $0.00002050. Source: Arieyettinurami/TradingView

Despite these challenges, the development team of SHIB, along with its strong community support, offers solid ground for growth. As Kusama said, “Patience and focus on the ecosystem are key to realizing SHIB’s long-term vision.”

The projection of Shiba Inu reaching $0.003 by 2040 tantalizes many, offering a captivating perspective on its long-term investment. While everything depends on the dynamics in the market and the advancement of the ecosystem, the long-term prospects of SHIB remain bullish.

Meanwhile, Shiba Inu doesn’t stop strengthening its story against the concept of a meme token to become a project promising actual value and yields to the interested community. Perhaps Shiba Inu can indeed melt faces in the coming bull run.

Shiba Inu (SHIB) has been making waves in the cryptocurrency market recently, with its price surging and gaining attention from investors and traders alike. Many are wondering just how high SHIB can go, with some projections suggesting it could hit $0.003 in the near future.

To understand how Shiba Inu could reach this price point, it’s important to look at the current market sentiment and the timeline for potential growth. The overall sentiment surrounding SHIB has been largely positive, with the recent boom in the meme coin market contributing to its rise in popularity.

One factor that could push SHIB to $0.003 is the upcoming listing on major exchanges such as Coinbase and Binance. These listings could bring in a wave of new investors and increase liquidity, driving up the price of SHIB in the process.

Additionally, the ShibaSwap decentralized exchange, which is set to launch soon, could also play a significant role in boosting SHIB’s price. The platform will allow users to stake their SHIB tokens and earn rewards, further incentivizing holders to buy and hold onto the coin.

While it’s difficult to predict exactly when SHIB will hit $0.003, many analysts believe that it could happen in the coming weeks or months if current trends continue. Of course, it’s important to remember that the cryptocurrency market is highly volatile, and prices can change rapidly based on a variety of factors.

Overall, the future looks bright for Shiba Inu, and $0.003 could be a realistic target for the coin in the near future. Investors and traders should keep a close eye on market trends and news updates to stay informed about potential price movements.

  • 2025 Farmers Insurance Open odds, picks: Proven golf model reveals projected leaderboard, surprising predictions

The historic Torrey Pines Golf Course will host the 2025 Farmers Insurance Open, which will be played from Wednesday through Saturday again this year. The 2025 Farmers Insurance Open field is loaded with major champions, including Hideki Matsuyama, Keegan Bradley, Jason Day and Justin Rose. Matsuyama, who secured his 11th career PGA Tour title with a historic performance at The Sentry earlier this month, is the 10-1 co-favorite alongside Ludvig Aberg, according to the latest 2025 Farmers Insurance Open odds. Wednesday’s first-round tee times are set to get underway at 11:50 a.m. ET.

They’re followed by Tony Finau (20-1), Sungjae Im (20-1), Will Zalatoris (22-1) and Bradley (22-1) on the PGA odds board. This week’s field also includes former Famers Insurance Open champions who are considerable longshots like Luke List (200-1) and Brandt Snedeker (350-1). Defending champion Matthieu Pavon is a 120-1 longshot to repeat and +400 (risk $100 to win $400) to finish inside the top 20.

Before locking in your 2025 Farmers Insurance Open picks, you need to see the golf predictions and projected leaderboard from the proven computer model at SportsLine.

Our proprietary model, built by DFS pro Mike McClure, has been red-hot since the PGA Tour resumed in June of 2020. In fact, the model is up more than $9,500 on its best bets since June 2020, nailing tournament after tournament.

This same model has also nailed a WHOPPING 13 majors entering the weekend, including the 2024 Masters, its third Masters in a row, and last year’s PGA Championship and U.S. Open! Anyone who has followed it could have seen MASSIVE returns! Join SportsLine now to see the model’s shocking 2025 Farmers Insurance Open picks from 10,000 simulations!

Now with the 2025 Farmers Insurance Open field locked in, SportsLine simulated the tournament 10,000 times, and the results were surprising.

One major surprise the model is calling for at the Farmers Insurance Open 2025: Aberg, the No. 6 ranked player in the world and one of the co-favorites, fails to finish on top of the leaderboard. Aberg is coming off an impressive T-5 finish at The Sentry earlier this month, but he’s set to make just his second start at Torrey Pines. He also enters this week’s event ranked 172nd in driving accuracy (51.67%) and 192nd in total driving (321).

Another surprise: Max Greyserman, a 25-1 longshot, makes a strong run at the title. Greyserman has all the tools needed to be in the mix at Torrey Pines this week. He’s coming off a T-7 showing at The American Express and currently ranks ninth in birdie average (6.25), 11th in putting average (1.632) and 13th in greens in regulation percentage (81.25%), providing great value at these odds. He’s a target for anyone looking for a HUGE payday!

Also, the model is targeting THREE OTHER golfers with odds of 25-1 or longer who will make a strong run at the title! Anyone who backs these golfers could hit it BIG. You ABSOLUTELY need to see who they are before locking in any 2025 Farmers Insurance Open picks!

So who wins the 2025 Farmers Insurance Open, and which huge longshots make a serious run at the title? … Join SportsLine right now to see who you can bank on to win, and see which longshots make a run at the title, all from the model that’s nailed 13 majors, including three in 2024

As we gear up for the 2025 Farmers Insurance Open, golf fans and bettors alike are eager to see who will come out on top at Torrey Pines. With so many talented players in the field, it can be tough to predict who will emerge victorious. That’s where our proven golf model comes in.

Using advanced statistical analysis and historical data, our model has crunched the numbers and come up with a projected leaderboard for this year’s tournament. And the results may surprise you.

According to our model, the top contenders for the 2025 Farmers Insurance Open include some familiar faces, such as defending champion Jon Rahm and world number one Dustin Johnson. But there are also some dark horse picks that could make a run for the title, like young phenom Collin Morikawa and up-and-coming star Viktor Hovland.

Of course, anything can happen in golf, and there are sure to be plenty of twists and turns throughout the tournament. But if you’re looking to place a bet on the Farmers Insurance Open, our model’s predictions could give you a valuable edge.

  • Bears ‘must sign’ Chiefs projected $79 million Pro Bowler after Ben Johnson hire

The Chicago Bears have their work cut out of them to return to the playoffs, but Monday’s news was a step in the right direction.

Highly touted Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson became the Bears’ new head coach on Monday, giving first-overall pick Caleb Williams a new play-caller in his effort to become Chicago’s long-awaited franchise quarterback.

Now that Johnson is in place, the Bears can start thinking about how to construct the ideal roster for him to manage. And because Williams’ protection was so dismal in 2024, general manager Ryan Poles would be wise to invest in the offensive line.

Williams took 68 sacks this season, 16 more than any other quarterback. While he’s not immune from some of the blame, the Bears could also use massive upgrades at both guard and tackle.

FanSided’s Terrence Jordan strongly hinted Monday that the Bears should shoot for the top of the guard market. He named Kansas City Chiefs right guard Trey Smith as a free agent the Bears “must sign” this spring.

“I can think of no better way to set Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams up for success than to give them a first-class offensive line,” Jordan wrote.

“Smith could help bring some of the Chiefs’ winning culture to Chicago, and though he’d no longer be protecting Patrick Mahomes, he’d be protecting the player whose skill set has most often been compared to his. Smith will be able to command a huge contract, but with the Bears having the fourth-most cap space in the league, they should be able to make it work.”

Smith, the 6-foot-6, 321-pound monster who is still just 25, has become the prize of the free-agent class at the guard position. He has been worth an impressive 113 total points earned in his four-year career, per Sports Info Solutions.

Spotrac projects Smith for a four-year, $79 million contract, but he may have his sights set even higher, on the $100 million mark Robert Hunt of the Carolina Panthers set for the first time at the guard position.

Massive contracts are sometimes a necessary evil for a front office, and the Bears would be wise to pay Smith whatever it takes to lure him out of Kansas City. He could be a game-changer for an offense that has all the potential to get Chicago back in the playoffs.

More NFL: 49ers star fuels blockbuster trade rumors for $94 million four-time Pro Bowler

The Chicago Bears have made a big move by hiring former Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Ben Johnson as their new head coach. But now, they need to make an even bigger move by signing one of the Chiefs’ projected $79 million Pro Bowlers.

The player in question is none other than wide receiver Tyreek Hill. Hill has been a key piece of the Chiefs’ explosive offense, consistently putting up impressive numbers and earning multiple Pro Bowl selections. With his speed and playmaking ability, Hill would be a perfect fit for the Bears’ offense, giving young quarterback Justin Fields a dynamic weapon to work with.

The Bears have struggled to find consistent production at the wide receiver position in recent years, and Hill would instantly upgrade their receiving corps. With Johnson’s offensive expertise and Hill’s playmaking ability, the Bears could have a potent offensive attack that could compete with the best in the league.

Signing Hill won’t come cheap, but the Bears have the cap space to make it happen. With the opportunity to add a dynamic playmaker like Hill to their roster, the Bears must make signing him a top priority this offseason. It’s a move that could transform their offense and make them a serious contender in the NFC.

  • Domestic recyclers are projected to meet 48% of India’s LiB demand by 2030

India’s battery recycling industry is becoming a crucial part of the country’s electric vehicle (EV) supply chain, helping reduce imports and strengthen raw material security. A report by BDO India highlights that domestic recyclers could meet nearly 48 per cent of the nation’s lithium-ion battery (LiB) demand by 2030, supported by significant investments from key industry players.

Battery recycling plays a crucial role in creating a sustainable, circular EV ecosystem. Globally, production scrap accounts for 30 per cent of raw materials in recycled batteries, reducing carbon emissions by about 33 per cent while consuming 93 per cent less water. Additionally, recycled batteries can extend a battery’s lifespan by up to six years, offering 95% efficiency at half the price of a new battery.

The lithium-ion battery recycling market, expected to account for 78 per cent of the sector by 2024, is experiencing rapid growth. India’s total LiB recycling capacity is currently estimated at 61,000 tonnes (15 GWh) for 2024 and is projected to expand to 543,000 tonnes (136 GWh) by 2030. The sector is expected to generate significant revenues, with each GWh of recycled batteries contributing about $10 million, driving the market’s value to $240 million by 2030.

The rapid adoption of EVs has accelerated demand, with the government targeting a minimum of 24 GWh annual battery demand by FY31.

Indian recyclers are achieving material recovery rates of about 95 per cent, matching global standards of more than 90 per cent, and are actively working on more cost-effective and environmentally friendly recycling methods. Some of the key companies ramping up lithium-ion battery (LiB) recycling capacity include Attero, Lohum Cleantech, BatX Energies, Ziptrax Cleantech, Exigo Recycling, ACE Green Recycling, and Recycle Karo, among others

Despite its potential, the industry faces significant challenges, including an unorganized recycling market, limited availability of domestic battery scrap, and high capital expenditure. Setting up a lead-acid battery recycling plant costs around $6 million per GWh, while a lithium-ion battery facility requires about $50 million per GWh. Addressing these hurdles will be critical for the industry’s growth.

With EV sales surging over the past two years, the battery recycling sector is expected to gain momentum in the next 4-5 years. Recycling facilities, which take less than a year to establish, are anticipated to attract substantial investments in the near future. Early-stage investors have already begun funding this promising sector, recognizing its role in shaping India’s EV market.

India is on track to become a major player in the global lithium-ion battery (LiB) market, with domestic recyclers projected to meet 48% of the country’s LiB demand by 2030. This is a significant milestone in India’s efforts to become self-reliant in the production of LiBs, which are crucial for powering electric vehicles and renewable energy storage systems.

The Indian government has been actively promoting the development of a domestic LiB recycling industry to reduce reliance on imports and minimize environmental impact. By 2030, India is expected to have the capacity to recycle over 2 million LiBs per year, significantly reducing the country’s carbon footprint and creating new opportunities for sustainable growth.

With growing awareness about the importance of recycling and sustainable practices, domestic recyclers in India are poised to play a key role in meeting the country’s LiB demand in the coming years. This not only presents a significant economic opportunity but also contributes to India’s commitment to a cleaner, greener future.

As India continues to invest in the development of its LiB recycling industry, the country is well-positioned to become a leading player in the global LiB market and pave the way for a more sustainable and environmentally-friendly future.

  • Eagles Projected To Add 11.5-Sack Star To Replace Brandon Graham

The Philadelphia Eagles have a fantastic roster but there could be even more pieces coming this offseason.

The easiest way for the Eagles to make a difference would be to add another big piece to the National Football League Draft. Philadelphia won’t have an early pick, but that doesn’t mean they can’t add a solid piece.

The Athletic’s Dane Brugler made a mock draft and projected Philadelphia to land Ohio State EDGE JT Tuimoloau.

“Philadelphia Eagles: JT Tuimoloau, Edge, Ohio State,” Tuimoloau said. “With Josh Sweat and Brandon Graham possibly moving on, the Eagles will be looking for reinforcements on the edges this offseason. Tuimoloau (6-4, 270) is a smart, alert player who plays the run well and also can get after the quarterback. In three College Football Playoff games this year, he has combined for 17 total pressures.”

Graham is a team legend who initially made it known that he would be hanging up his cleats after the season. He has since hinted that may not be the case, but anything could end up happening. No matter what happens, adding a young talent like Tuimoloau would make perfect sense. He logged 11.5 sacks in 15 games for Ohio State and is one of the better defensive ends in the upcoming draft class.

If the Eagles could land him this offseason in the NFL Draft, that seems like it could end up being an absolute win. Hopefully, they end up having a late pick, though, meaning a deep playoff run.

More NFL: Eagles Are ‘Dream’ Landing Spot For 12-Sack Game-Breaker

The Philadelphia Eagles are reportedly set to add a 11.5-sack star to their roster to replace the recently departed Brandon Graham. With Graham’s departure, the Eagles are in need of a strong pass rusher to fill the void left by the veteran defensive end.

The addition of a player with 11.5 sacks to their defense will undoubtedly bolster the Eagles’ pass rush and help solidify their defensive line. This move is sure to excite fans and give the Eagles a much-needed boost on defense.

Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting roster move as the Eagles continue to make moves to strengthen their team for the upcoming season. #FlyEaglesFly

  • Projected Lineup: Jan. 20 at Vegas

Blues Head Coach Jim Montgomery will split up his top line of Jake Neighbours, Robert Thomas and Pavel Buchnevich on Monday when his club meets the Vegas Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena (5 p.m. CT, FanDuel Sports Network, 101 ESPN).

The move comes after the Blues were unable to secure a three-game winning streak yet again on Saturday in a 4-2 loss to the Utah Hockey Club.

“(I’m) trying to get a workman-like attitude on every line,” Montgomery said of the decision to change things up. “Mixing it up sometimes creates a spark of ‘I individually have to do more, I’m not going to rely on the guy next to me.’ That’s all.”

The new line combinations used in Sunday’s practice in Vegas had Thomas and Neighbours playing with Brandon Saad, who is expected to come back into the lineup after missing the last two games as a healthy scratch. Buchnevich was skating on the right wing alongside Alexey Toropchenko and Oskar Sundqvist – a line Montgomery used while shaking things up against Utah.

The Dylan Holloway-Brayden Schenn-Jordan Kyrou line will remain together for Monday’s matchup.

Montgomery is also making changes on defense. Cam Fowler and Colton Parayko will remain the team’s top pairing, but the bottom two pairs had changes in Sunday’s team practice. Ryan Suter and Philip Broberg were skating together, while Tyler Tucker and Justin Faulk were paired up.
