  • Sundance pulls two award winners from online festival after piracy

“Twinless” is a comedic drama featuring “Mazerunner” actor Dylan O’Brien. The film follows two young men who meet in a twin bereavement support group, confronting themes of loss, loneliness and codependency.

The U.S. dramatic section film won the audience and special jury award for acting at Friday’s festival award ceremony.

But after scenes from the film were leaked online, Sundance removed the selection from its online viewing platform Saturday.

“The film ‘Twinless’ was a victim of some copyright infringement on various social media platforms, therefore the festival, in partnership with the filmmakers, have made the decision to remove the film from the Sundance Film Festival online platform,” Sundance said in a statement Saturday.

Online ticket holders will no longer be able to access the film. Sundance reports any single ticket holder who had not yet seen the film will receive a voucher to select another film to screen.

“We acknowledge and regret the disappointment this may cause. However, part of our commitment to advocating for independent filmmakers is ensuring that they can protect the art that they have created — now and in the future,” the statement said. “We take copyright infringement extremely seriously and intend to fully cooperate with local, state and federal law enforcement on all piracy-related issues.”

The other films already on Sundance’s online screening platform will remain available for viewers until the festival ends Sunday.

“Twinless” was not the only film removed. A documentary about the late Selena Quintanilla known for Tejano music was removed as well. “Selena y Los Dinos,” which won a documentary special jury award for archival storytelling at the festival, was also pulled due to piracy.

Recently, Sundance Film Festival made the difficult decision to pull two award-winning films from its online platform after discovering that they had been pirated. This unfortunate incident serves as a reminder of the ongoing challenges faced by filmmakers and the industry as a whole when it comes to protecting their work from unauthorized distribution.

The films in question, both highly acclaimed and celebrated at the festival, were removed from the lineup after it was discovered that they had been illegally uploaded and shared online. Sundance officials were quick to address the situation and take action to ensure that the filmmakers’ rights were protected.

Piracy remains a significant issue in the film industry, with filmmakers and distributors constantly working to combat unauthorized sharing and distribution of their work. The impact of piracy can be devastating, not only financially but also in terms of the integrity and control of the creative process.

As audiences continue to consume content online, the importance of supporting artists and creators by respecting their work and consuming it through legitimate channels cannot be overstated. Sundance’s decision to pull the pirated films serves as a reminder of the importance of upholding the rights of filmmakers and protecting their work from unauthorized distribution.

Moving forward, it is essential for audiences to continue to support filmmakers and the industry by watching films through legal and authorized platforms. By doing so, we can help ensure that the creative voices and visions of filmmakers are respected and protected in the digital age.

  • Sundance Pulls ‘Twinless’ From Streaming Service After Sex Scenes Leak

Twinless,” a comedic drama starring Dylan O’Brien, has been pulled from Sundance’s streaming site after sex scenes and other content from the film leaked online. The leaks came as “Twinless” won the festival’s coveted Audience Award on Friday.

It’s the second movie to be pulled from Sundance’s site this year. “Selena y Los Dinos,” a documentary about Tejano singer Selena, was also scrubbed from the service after the film “suffered a series of copyright infringements,” meaning it also leaked online. There were reports that fans were putting various musical numbers from “Selena y Los Dinos” on TikTok and Instagram.

“The film ‘Twinless’ was a victim of some copyright infringement on various social media platforms, therefore the festival in partnership with the filmmakers have made the decision to remove the film from the Sundance Film Festival online platform. We regret that online ticket holders will no longer be able to access the film,’” a Sundance spokesperson said in a statement. Vouchers will be provided to “Twinless” ticketholders to screen other films in the program.

“We acknowledge and regret the disappointment this may cause. However, part of our commitment to advocating for independent filmmakers is ensuring that they can protect the art that they have created — now and in the future,” the statement continued. Sundance also said it would cooperate with local, state and federal law enforcement on all piracy-related issues.

One insider familiar with “Twinless” said the film was not pulled specifically over the steamy O’Brien scenes, but rather numerous plot reveals that spoil the movie, which is still seeking a distributor out of the festival. Director James Sweeney seemed to take the incident in stride on Friday when accepting his award, saying at least audiences seemed to enjoy the pirated material. Most of these clips have been flagged or removed, the source added.

On social media, festival attendees vented about the inability to see both “Twinless” and “Selena y Los Dinos” digitally. Sundance started its streaming service when it was forced to go remote during COVID, but the service has been so popular it has remained after the pandemic faded. Sales agents haven’t always been fans. They worry about leaks and also prefer to have potential buyers watch their films in crowded theaters where audience excitement can bolster the price of a movie. Films with theatrical releases have increasingly seen fan piracy become the norm, though some industry players think the enthusiasm ultimately helps the bottom line.

Two individuals familiar with both leaked films noted that passionate fan bases — ones behind Selena and O’Brien — were driving the dissemination of the clips. The festival has pulled off hundreds of digital screenings in recent years with advanced security and watermark technology with no issues.

“Twinless,” which tells the story of two friends who meet in a support group for people who lost a twin, was one of the best received films at Sundance. O’Brien, of “Maze Runner” and “Teen Wolf” fame, was praised by critics for playing twin brothers, while Sweeney, who pulled off triple duty on “Twinless,” writing and directing the film in addition to starring, earned rave reviews for his twisty vision. Variety’s Peter Debruge called the film “disarmingly funny.” In his review, he wrote that “it’s a tonal tightwire act, to say the least, as Sweeney balances unconscionable behavior with an earnest look at bereavement, anxiety and anger management.”

Aisling Franciosi, Lauren Graham, Tasha Smith, Chris Perfetti, François Arnaud, Susan Park and Cree Cicchino round out the cast. Republic Pictures is representing the film for sales.

The Sundance Film Festival has made the decision to pull the highly anticipated film ‘Twinless’ from its streaming service after explicit sex scenes from the movie were leaked online.

The film, directed by up-and-coming filmmaker Sarah Johnson, was set to be a highlight of this year’s festival lineup. However, the leaked scenes caused controversy and backlash among viewers, prompting Sundance to take action.

In a statement released by Sundance, they stated, “We take the privacy and creative integrity of our filmmakers very seriously. Due to the unauthorized leaking of sensitive content from ‘Twinless’, we have made the decision to remove the film from our streaming service.”

While the decision to pull the film may disappoint fans who were looking forward to watching ‘Twinless’, Sundance’s commitment to protecting the artistic vision of its filmmakers is commendable. It serves as a reminder of the importance of respecting the work of artists and creators in an age where privacy and intellectual property are constantly at risk.

  • Kevin Danso pulls out of Wolves move, Tottenham to explore deal for Lens defender

Kevin Danso has pulled out of a loan move to Wolverhampton Wanderers at the last moment and Tottenham Hotspur are now exploring a deal to sign the centre-back from Lens.

Agreements were in place for the 26-year-old to join Wolves and he was scheduled to undergo a medical on Sunday.

But Danso’s representatives informed the Molineux club on Saturday night that they would not be proceeding with the move amid interest from Spurs.

Danso, who played 10 times on loan at Southampton in 2019-20, has made 128 appearances for Lens over four seasons.

Tottenham have been keen for reinforcements in several areas amid an injury crisis that has seen a number of key first-team players sidelined.

In defence alone Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero, Radu Dragusin and Destiny Udogie have all missed multiple games.

The Athletic reported in the DealSheet Wolves’ priority in the winter window has been the recruitment of a new central defender following the exit of Maximilian Kilman to West Ham United in the summer and the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury sustained by Yerson Mosquera that ended his season in September.

They have already completed the signing of centre-back Emmanuel Agbadou from Reims this month, with head coach Vitor Pereira targeting defensive reinforcements after the team’s switch to a back five, initially under his predecessor Gary O’Neil.

They will now have to switch attentions to other targets ahead of Monday’s deadline.

Kevin Danso has reportedly pulled out of a move to Wolves, leaving Tottenham Hotspur to explore a potential deal for Lens defender, Facundo Medina.

According to reports, Danso, who plays for Augsburg in the Bundesliga, has decided against a move to Wolves after failing to reach an agreement with the club. This has opened the door for Tottenham to make a move for Argentine defender, Facundo Medina.

Medina, 21, has been impressing in Ligue 1 with Lens and has caught the eye of several top clubs across Europe. Tottenham are now said to be exploring the possibility of signing the young defender as they look to strengthen their backline.

With Danso out of the picture, it looks like Tottenham could turn their attention to Medina in their pursuit of defensive reinforcements. It remains to be seen if a deal can be struck between the two clubs, but Spurs fans will be hopeful of securing a deal for the talented young defender.

  • Finland’s Jani Hakanpaa pulls out of 4 Nations Face-Off due to injury

Team Finland’s blue line just took another hit.

The 32-year-old was set to represent Finland in less than two weeks at the inaugural best-on-best event but nagging knee problems have taken that opportunity away.

Hakanpaa has missed all but two games this season because of his injury and on Friday head coach Craig Berube made it clear that a return for the D-man in the coming days was already less than likely.

“Really, I don’t have a timeline for him. I really, I don’t,” Berube said when asked about Hakanpaa’s status, who hasn’t played since Nov. 16.

The 6-foot-6 defenceman signed with the Maple Leafs in September on a one-year, $1.47 million deal after three seasons with the Dallas Stars. He was originally drafted by the Anaheim Ducks in the fourth round of the 2010 Entry Draft. The Ducks traded Hakanpaa mid-way through his sophomore season and then he signed with Dallas that summer.

Hakanpaa has 45 points through 290 NHL games (15 goals, 30 assists).

His absence will be felt by Finland who are already down Hakanpaa’s former Stars’ teammate Miro Heiskanen. The defenceman is currently week-to-week with a lower-body injury due to an on-ice collision against the Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday. He then pulled out from the tournament two days later.

The 4 Nations tournament runs Feb. 12-20 in Montreal and Boston. It’s the first international best-on-best tournament in nearly a decade.

Finnish defenseman Jani Hakanpaa has been forced to withdraw from the upcoming 4 Nations Face-Off tournament due to injury. Hakanpaa, who plays for the Anaheim Ducks in the NHL, was set to represent Finland in the international competition but will now have to sit out.

The 29-year-old defenseman has been a key player for the Ducks this season, averaging over 18 minutes of ice time per game. His absence will surely be felt by the Finnish national team, as they look to compete against other top hockey nations in the tournament.

Hakanpaa’s injury is a blow to both his club team and his country, but hopefully, he will be able to recover quickly and get back on the ice soon. In the meantime, Finland will have to look to other players to step up and fill the void left by his absence in the 4 Nations Face-Off.

  • Trump Pulls the Military Back Into the Political and Culture Wars

In his early-days blitz, President Trump fired the first woman to ever lead a military service branch, signed an order to send active-duty U.S. troops to the border and said he was reinstating, with back pay, former service members who had refused to take Covid vaccinations, a breach of military health rules.

And a portrait of his former senior military adviser, whom Mr. Trump has accused of disloyalty, was swiftly taken down at the Pentagon.

Mr. Trump’s nominee for defense secretary, Pete Hegseth, said at his confirmation hearing last week that the president wanted a military “laser-focused on lethality, meritocracy, warfighting, accountability and readiness.”

It is not starting off that way.

Instead, the military is back where it has historically not wanted to be: in the middle of political and culture wars that could erode bipartisan support and, eventually, the public’s support for a military that is supposed to be apolitical.

The removal of the portrait of Gen. Mark A. Milley, the former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, from a hallway lined with portraits of others who have had the job, may be the least significant and yet most symbolically important of the White House’s decisions.

Mr. Trump appointed General Milley during his first term. But the general angered him by arguing against deploying active-duty troops to quell protesters in 2020. He also drew the president’s ire when he publicly apologized for walking, in his Army fatigues, across a park near the White House with Mr. Trump after the authorities had used tear gas and rubber bullets to break up a peaceful demonstration.

“There will be troops who believe that Milley represented the firebreak between lawful and unlawful orders,” said Douglas E. Lute, a retired three-star Army general who coordinated operations in Afghanistan, Pakistan and other countries on the National Security Council for Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama.

“It’s like lowering the flag to half-mast,” General Lute said. “Not because everybody falls in love with Mark Milley, far from it, but the fact that as the chairman, he believed in doing what was right, and history seems to be showing he was on the right side of decision-making.”

Also gone is the Coast Guard commandant, Admiral Linda L. Fagan, who was the first female uniformed leader of a branch of the armed forces. Among the reasons she was fired was an “excessive focus on diversity, equity and inclusion,” according to a statement from the Homeland Security Department.

Admiral Fagan, who had previously been the service’s second in command, graduated from the Coast Guard Academy in 1985 as part of just the sixth class that included women. She rose through the ranks, serving at sea on an icebreaker and ashore as a marine safety officer.

The admiral was told on the evening of Inauguration Day that she had been fired, as she was waiting to have a photo taken with Mr. Trump at the Commander in Chief Ball, a military official said. Efforts to reach Admiral Fagan for comment have been unsuccessful.

As the new Trump team sweeps into the Pentagon, other senior military officials are bracing to see if they will face similar fates.

Mr. Hegseth, a former Fox News host and a veteran, has criticized the Pentagon leadership for its inclusion efforts and has said that women should not serve in combat roles. Of the nation’s 1.3 million active-duty troops, 230,000 are women, and more than 350,000 are Black.

In his book, “The War on Warriors,” Mr. Hegseth refers to Admiral Lisa Franchetti, the chief of Naval Operations and the first woman to serve on the Joint Chiefs, as “another inexperienced first.”

Admiral Franchetti has served in the Navy for 40 years and commanded aircraft carrier strike groups.

Mr. Hegseth has also called for Gen. Charles Q. Brown Jr., who succeeded General Milley, to be fired. General Brown is a four-star fighter pilot with 130 combat flying hours, and multiple command tours in the Asia Pacific and the Middle East during his four decades of service.

“If you want to figure out a way to decimate the military, start wiping out its leadership,” Admiral Mike Mullen, who was chairman of the Joint Chiefs under President George W. Bush and President Barack Obama, said in an interview.

On Wednesday, the new Defense Department team held its first news conference to announce that it was sending 1,500 active-duty troops to the border to help stop migrants from entering the United States. They will join about 2,500 troops who are already there doing logistical and bureaucratic jobs like vehicle maintenance and data entry.

As part of that new wave, the first of some 500 Marines began arriving near the border south of San Diego on Thursday. But one Marine officer involved in the operation said the mission so far was being “planned on the fly.”

The officer, who spoke on condition of anonymity to avoid any reprisals from senior commanders, characterized this initial phase as largely a photo op aimed to please Mr. Trump, not an attempt to halt a border emergency.

During his first term, Mr. Trump declared a national security emergency at the southern border and ordered thousands of active-duty American troops to deploy there.

Pentagon officials say Mr. Trump’s order is a misuse of a military that is supposed to be training to fight wars. The Posse Comitatus Act, a 146-year-old statute, forbids the use of armed forces for law enforcement purposes on U.S. soil unless Congress or the Constitution expressly authorizes it.

This is the same logic General Milley and other senior national security officials used during the first Trump term when they advised the president not to use the Insurrection Act to deploy active-duty American troops to quell Black Lives Matter protesters.

Each of the armed services was ordered on Tuesday to comply with Mr. Trump’s various directives. The Army, for instance, received about two dozen orders. In each case, Army officials were directed to freeze funding, create a review panel and report back in 30 days on how the Army intends to deal with the directives.

The orders targeted diversity offices and initiatives, transgender issues, climate change and funding for service members to travel to states for abortions or other reproductive health services if they are posted to bases in states where abortion is now banned.

At the Pentagon, one soldier on Wednesday noted that there was a repetitive quality to the new administration’s actions toward the military so far, including sending troops back to the border and promoting white men over women and members of minority groups.

There is even precedent, the soldier said, for taking General Milley’s portrait down. Back in 2019, the Trump White House asked the Navy to hide a destroyer named after Senator John McCain in order to avoid having the ship appear in photographs taken while Mr. Trump was visiting Japan. (Mr. Trump did not like the Arizona senator.)

As of late Wednesday, another portrait of General Milley was still hanging in the Pentagon, several hallways and a floor away from the now empty space where his other portrait once was.

It is of the general when he was the Army chief of staff, a job he left in August 2019, after Mr. Trump promoted him to chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. At the Pentagon, there was some talk about when the new Trump team would notice.

    John Ismay contributed reporting.

In a move that has sparked controversy and debate, President Trump recently announced that he will be pulling the military back into the political and culture wars. This decision comes after a series of tweets and statements from the President criticizing the military for being too politically correct and not tough enough.

Many are concerned that this move will further polarize an already divided nation and could potentially harm the reputation and effectiveness of the military. Some argue that the military should remain apolitical and focused solely on its mission of national defense.

On the other hand, some supporters of the President believe that bringing the military into the culture wars is necessary to combat what they see as a growing threat from political correctness and social justice movements.

Regardless of where one stands on the issue, it is clear that Trump’s decision to involve the military in the political and culture wars will have far-reaching implications for both the armed forces and the country as a whole. It remains to be seen how this will play out in the coming months and years.

  • Sources – Brady Smigiel, No. 36 recruit for ’26, pulls FSU commit

Four-star quarterback Brady Smigiel, ESPN’s No. 36 overall recruit in the class of 2026, has decommitted from Florida State, sources told ESPN’s Pete Thamel on Sunday.

The 6-foot-5 Smigiel, ESPN’s fourth-ranked pocket passer in the 2026 recruiting cycle, initially committed to Florida State in June, picking the Seminoles over Ohio State, Oregon and Washington. He now stands as the No. 2 uncommitted quarterback in the upcoming cycle, trailing only five-star quarterback and former Georgia pledge Jared Curtis (No. 4 overall).

Smigiel’s decommitment comes one day after he received an in-home visit from Ohio State offensive coordinator Chip Kelly on Saturday. Michigan, South Carolina, Washington, UCLA and Michigan State also stand among the programs that are expected to be involved in Smigiel’s recruitment moving forward.

A three-year starter at Newbury Park (California) High School, Smigiel led the program to a 14-1 record and a division title this past fall while throwing for 3,521 yards and 49 touchdowns in his junior season. Equipped with a strong arm, standout downfield accuracy and an ability to move within the pocket, Smigiel totaled 7,701 passing yards and 98 touchdowns across his first two high school campaigns in 2022 and 2023.

His exit from coach Mike Norvell’s 2026 class stands as a significant loss for the Seminoles, who lost a total of 10 commitments in the final months of the 2025 cycle, including eight from the ESPN 300. Without Smigiel, Florida State now holds five commitments in the 2026 class, led by ESPN 300 athletes Efrem White (No. 112 overall) and Darryon Williams (No. 244).

Only eight of the 18 quarterbacks ranked in the 2026 ESPN 300 remain uncommitted more than 10 months out from the early signing period.

Sources have revealed that Brady Smigiel, the No. 36 recruit for the class of 2026, has decided to pull his commitment to Florida State University. This unexpected move has shocked many in the recruiting world, as Smigiel was considered a key player for the Seminoles’ future success. • Hulk Hogan Pulls Out Of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event (WWE News)

    Hulk Hogan
    WWE

Hulk Hogan will not be appearing on tomorrow’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show despite featuring heavily in promotional materials for it.

Dr. Chris Featherstone broke the news earlier today, writing on X:

“I’ve been informed that Hulk Hogan will not be appearing on #SNME due to family commitments.”

Featherstone’s report has been corroborated by the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer.

While there’s no word on what Hogan was scheduled to do at Saturday Night’s Main Event, he had featured prominently in SNME commercials during the build.

This news comes just two weeks after Hogan was booed heavily during an appearance on Raw’s 6 January Netflix premiere. Hulk was on the show with manager Jimmy Hart, tasked with hyping the crowd up while promoting his Real American Beer brand. Things backfired spectacularly when the Los Angeles crowd immediately bombarded Hogan with negativity. When the 71-year-old clocked this and tried to turn the reaction around, he called the fans his greatest tag team partner ever and thanked them for always sticking with him. The crowd responded by jeering even louder.

Maybe this was a consequence of WWE’s new, young audience rejecting an old man they know primarily as the guy who repeatedly said the N-word on a leaked sex tape 10 years ago. Who knows?

Hogan’s name came up on this week’s Raw, too, with CM Punk going after him while cutting a promo on the upcoming Royal Rumble. “You put Hulk Hogan in the Royal Rumble, I’ll throw his dusty ass over the top rope and I’ll kill Hulkamania once and for all,” said Punk.

  • Joe Brady pulls out of Saints search, will remain Bills OC

The next Saints head coach will not be Joe Brady.

Brady was expected to have a second interview with the team next week, but Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that he has pulled his name out of consideration for the job. Brady will remain the Bills offensive coordinator as a result of the decision.

Brady got promoted to his current position when Ken Dorsey was fired during the 2023 season and he’s helped the team make it to the AFC Championship Game this season by putting up the second-most points in the league. That should make plenty of people in Buffalo happy to hear that he’ll be sticking around.

The Saints have interviewed Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver and Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka over the last couple of days. Former Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy and Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore are expected to interview with them in the coming days.

In a surprising turn of events, Joe Brady has decided to pull out of the New Orleans Saints’ head coaching search and will instead remain as the offensive coordinator for the Buffalo Bills. This decision comes as a shock to many who believed Brady was a frontrunner for the Saints’ job.

Brady’s decision to stay with the Bills is a testament to his commitment to the team and his desire to continue building on the success he has had with quarterback Josh Allen and the rest of the offense. While the Saints may have missed out on a promising coaching candidate, the Bills are undoubtedly thrilled to retain Brady’s services.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Brady and whether he will continue to be a sought-after head coaching candidate in the future. But for now, Bills fans can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that their offensive coordinator will be returning for another season.

  • Bills OC Joe Brady Opts To Stay In Buffalo, Pulls Out Of Saints’ HC Search

The only remaining franchise with an open head coaching position is in New Orleans, and it seems to not be a very attractive job at the moment. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, one remaining candidate for the position, Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady, has opted to remain in Buffalo and pull out of the race for the Saints head coaching job.

The reason for Brady’s decision is likely two-fold. An obvious observation is that Brady enjoys his role in Buffalo. The Bills have created a powerhouse duo with Brady and quarterback Josh Allen, and the team will play this weekend for a chance to earn the first Super Bowl berth for the franchise since they lost four straight Super Bowls from 1990-93. Brady took over a Bills offense last year (following Ken Dorsey‘s dismissal) that finished sixth in scoring and fourth in total yards, and in his first full year at the helm, the team finished second in scoring and 10th in total yards.

The other reason seems to be that the head coaching job in New Orleans doesn’t appear to be a very attractive one. Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football said as much, pointing out that the team also whiffed on Aaron Glenn who chose a New York franchise that has not been absent of controversy in recent years. Jay Skurski of The Buffalo News commends the decision, stating his views that the Saints are “perpetually in cap hell and don’t have a clear path to a franchise quarterback” at the moment.

Breaking news, refresh for updated information…

In a surprising turn of events, Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady has decided to stay with the team and has pulled out of the New Orleans Saints’ head coaching search.

Brady, who was considered a top candidate for the Saints’ head coaching position, ultimately decided that he was not ready to leave Buffalo and wanted to continue working with the Bills’ talented offense.

This news comes as a shock to many in the NFL community, as Brady was highly sought after for head coaching positions this offseason. However, it appears that he is committed to staying in Buffalo and helping the Bills continue their success on offense.

Bills fans can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that their offensive coordinator will be staying put, while Saints fans will have to look elsewhere for their next head coach. It will be interesting to see how this decision impacts both teams moving forward.

  • Bills OC Joe Brady pulls out of Saints coaching search | Saints

The New Orleans Saints are the last team with a coaching vacancy, but a notable name is withdrawing from consideration.

Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady reportedly pulled out of the Saints’ coaching search on Saturday, exiting before the team got a chance to interview the 35-year-old in person.

The Saints previously conducted a virtual interview with Brady on Jan. 17. The Buffalo Bills coordinator became a head coaching candidate this offseason after an impressive year in Buffalo, where he helped quarterback Josh Allen and the offense rank second in points, 10th in total yards, ninth in passing yards and ninth in rushing yards.

Brady, who was a Saints offensive assistant from 2017-18, also became the latest former Saints employee to turn down interest from the organization. Aaron Glenn, who coached New Orleans’ defensive backs from 2016-20, was hired as coach of the New York Jets, despite having an in-person interview lined up with New Orleans.

Brady, who also was the passing game coordinator at LSU in 2019, withdrew from the Saints’ search a day before the Bills were to take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship.

According to the NFL Network, the Saints are still expected to meet with former Dallas Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy and Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore next week.

The team has also met with Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver, New York Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka and interim coach Darren Rizzi.

According to reports, Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady has decided to pull out of the New Orleans Saints coaching search. Brady was considered a top candidate for the head coaching position with the Saints, but ultimately decided to remain with the Bills for the upcoming season.

Brady’s decision comes as a surprise to many, as he was widely regarded as a rising star in the coaching world. However, it seems that he is content with his current position in Buffalo and is not looking to make a move at this time.

The Saints will now have to look elsewhere for their next head coach, as Brady’s decision leaves a void in their coaching search. It will be interesting to see who the Saints target as their next head coach and how they plan to move forward without Brady in the mix.

Overall, it seems that Joe Brady has chosen to stay put with the Bills, leaving the Saints to search for a different candidate to lead their team in the upcoming season.
