  • Brandi Glanville shakes rapidly while undergoing treatment for facial parasite

Brandi Glanville was seen violently shaking in a concerning video she posted on social media Friday.

The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum informed her followers on X that she was using a lymphatic drainage machine, which vibrates in order to help relieve pain, stimulate fluid movement and prevent diseases from worsening.

Glanville, 52, has been battling an apparent facial parasite and recently sought the help of celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Terry Dubrow, who conducted four biopsies to try and get answers about her health struggles.

“I’m on my emphatic [sic] drainage machine,” the former Bravo star wrote alongside the video of herself, in which she appeared make-up free and with her hair pulled back. “@DrDubrow ⁩ let’s get this f–ker.”

Glanville also revealed in the post that five years ago, she and her sons — Mason, 21, and Jake, 17 — had yet another medical scare when they had “black mold poisoning from a toxic house.”

The reality star claimed the family even got a “six figure settlement” because of what they went through.

However, she concluded that what she was currently dealing with seemed to be much worse, writing, “This is CRAZY!”

Fans were left worried over what what showed, with one person writing, “Girl I’m absolutely horrified for you. Sending prayers & well wishes.” Another chimed in, “Brandi this is so sad and so scary. I’m so sorry.”

Glanville also said in the video that she previously dealt with toxic mold. X/BrandiGlanville
Fans expressed concern for the reality star, saying in part the clip is “so scary” and “sad.” X/BrandiGlanville

Glanville has been on a long journey to try and heal from a mystery illness that has caused her severe facial disfigurement, which the former “Housewife” has said she believes was brought on by stress.

Last December, she shared that she has spent more than $70,000 in trying to figure out what’s “wrong” with her, and the entire ordeal even caused her to become recluse and not want to date anymore.

“They sent me to have my face checked — maybe old filler. So, that was all dissolved, even though I was like, ‘You’re dissolving my actual skin now because I haven’t had filler in a long time,’” Glanville told “Entertainment Tonight” at the time, hitting back at cosmetic surgery accusations.

“I’ve had IV antibiotics at my house every day for six weeks. … I’ve been on meds this whole year.”

After the “Famously Single” alum’s health issues became public, Dr. Dubrow, 66, stepped in to help.

The plastic surgeon — who is married to “Real Housewives of Orange County” star Heather Dubrow — said Glanville’s face was a “ticking time bomb” and that he wanted to see if she had a microorganism in her skin or bloodstream.

Glanville sought help from several medical doctors and concluded she was likely battling a facial parasite. Brandi Glanville/Instagram

The former “RHOBH” said at the time that she welcomed the “Botched” star’s advice.

“I have zero drama with @DrDubrow I appreciate all the help I can get” Glanville wrote in a post on X last December.

“we have been in touch and plan to talk thank you for all the love. All fillers that were in my face have been dissolved. I have seen all the best doctors at cedar Sinai,&all the doctors they referred me to”

Brandi Glanville, former star of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” has recently shared a shocking video on social media that shows her undergoing treatment for a facial parasite. In the video, Glanville can be seen shaking rapidly as the treatment is being administered.

The treatment, which involves using a special device to target and eliminate the parasite, is known to be quite intense and can cause discomfort. Glanville’s shaky reaction is a clear indication of the intensity of the procedure.

Fans and followers of the reality TV star have expressed their concern and support for her as she goes through this challenging treatment. Despite the discomfort, Glanville appears to be determined to get rid of the parasite and regain her health.

We wish Brandi Glanville a speedy recovery and hope that she can soon put this ordeal behind her. Stay strong, Brandi!

  • Isaiah Joe’s 3-Point Percentage is Rapidly Climbing

The Thunder has dominated competition all season long, cruising to the NBA’s best record. Of course, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is leading the charge, but the rest of the team is legit too. Oklahoma City is well constructed and deliberately built, and it’s showing in a big way this season.

To start the season, Oklahoma City relied on stellar defense. With the offense coming out flat and needing time to adjust, the defense had to step up and anchor the young team. But now, the offense has caught up and the product has been the juggernaut we see now.

Oklahoma City is fifth in points scored, 11th in field goal percentage, and first in free throw percentage. The Thunder also takes care of the ball at a premium, committing the fewest turnovers in the NBA. After starting the season relatively cold from 3-point range, the team is a top-half shooting squad in the NBA. While the team’s outside shooting percentage is rising, so is the team’s sharpshooter Isaiah Joe’s.

Joe suffered through a big time shooting slump to start the year — by his standards anyways. He was hovering around the 35-37% range for most of the season before January began, but he has been on quite the heater lately. Although it hasn’t necessarily swayed the outcome of any game, it’s encouraging to see. When the court shrinks in the playoffs, this is the version of Joe that the team will need.

Over the last 10 games, Joe is averaging 12.8 points per game on 51.7% from the floor and an astounding 48.5% from 3-point range. The last 10 games have also included two separate contests featuring eight made triples. On the season, Joe is back up to 38.9% from long range while taking a career-high 6.0 attempts per contest. He’s sneaking back up to 40% and completely rebounding from his slow shooting start to the season.

Joe’s shooting has always proven to find its way back on track. Despite this slump being elongated, Joe has been a consistent sniper over the course of his Thunder stint. His slumps are more noticeable, though, considering he’s the only specialty shooter the team has.

When he’s on, Oklahoma City is at its best. This version of Joe is who the Thunder will need in the postseason.

Want to join the discussion? Like Thunder on SI on Facebook and follow us on Twitter to stay up to date on all the latest Thunder news. You can also meet the team behind the coverage.

Isaiah Joe, the sharpshooting guard for the Philadelphia 76ers, has been on fire from beyond the arc recently. His 3-point percentage has been rapidly climbing, showcasing his deadly accuracy and ability to knock down shots from long range.

In the past few games, Joe has been lighting it up from downtown, hitting shots at an impressive rate and helping the Sixers stretch the floor and create spacing for their offense. His improved shooting has been a key factor in the team’s success and has earned him praise from fans and analysts alike.

With his confidence soaring and his shot falling, Isaiah Joe is quickly becoming one of the most dangerous shooters in the league. Keep an eye on him as he continues to elevate his game and make a name for himself as a premier marksman in the NBA.

Russia is rearming faster than previously thought and could be making preparations to attack a Nato country, a top German official has warned.

“The Russian armed forces are not just able to compensate for the enormous personnel and material losses, they are successfully rearming,” said Germany’s Maj Gen Christian Freuding.

While it is not clear that Vladimir Putin intends to attack a Nato member state, Gen Freuding said the Russian president was “clearly creating the conditions for it”.

“Production is growing, the supplies in the depots are growing,” said the head of Germany’s military task force for Ukraine, noting Russia is using Iran and North Korea to replenish its supplies of missiles, drones and tanks.

In France, president Emmanuel Macron spoke moments before Donald Trump’s inauguration to warn that Russia will challenge Europe’s security for a long time. “Let’s not fool ourselves, this conflict will not be resolved tomorrow. Or the day after tomorrow,” he said, adding that peace in Europe required Europeans to be at the negotiating table.

Volodymyr Zelensky welcomed Trump’s return as president, saying Ukraine looks forward to working with him.

More than 152 clashes in past 24 hours, says Kyiv

More than 152 combat clashes took place over the past 24 hours, nearly half of which took place on the Pokrovsk front, Kyiv has said.

Ukrainian forces repelled 73 attacks near Pokrovsk, Ukraine’s General Staff said on Facebook, as Russian troops look to cut off key supply lines in the eastern town.

Russian troops fired five missiles, dropped 11 aerial bombs and used 2,653 kamikaze drones in the past 24 hours, it added.

Combat clashes were recorded around the country, most significantly on the Kupiansk, Lyman and Toretsk fronts, and in Russia’s Kursk region.

Putin calls for deepened relationship with China in call with ‘dear friend’ Xi

Russian president Vladimir Putin has called on Moscow and Beijing to deepen their strategic partnership, in a call with his “dear friend” and Chinese president Xi Jinping.

Waving at Mr Xi over a video call, Putin said he wants to bring forward “new plans for the development of the Russian-Chinese comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation” in a video released by the Kremlin of their conversation.

“I agree with you that cooperation between Moscow and Beijing is based on a broad commonality of national interests and a convergence of views on what relations between major powers should be,” Putin said.

“We build our ties on the basis of friendship, mutual trust and support, equality and mutual benefit. These connections are self-sufficient, independent of domestic political factors and the current global situation.”

Russia and China have for years been united in a common geopolitical cause to weaken western US-led hegemony, particularly after Putin’s invasion of Ukraine and increased US efforts to counter China’s economic and military strength.

Ukraine strikes aircraft factory and oil depot, Kyiv’s military says

Ukrainian forces hit a Russian aviation factory in the Smolensk region and an oil depot in the Voronezh region on Tuesday, its military said.

Andrii Kovalenko, the head of Kyiv’s Center for Countering Disinformation, said according to Ukrainska Pravda: “This plant [the Smolensk Aviation Plant] is closely connected with other businesses of the Russian defence industrial base, supplying components or involved in collaboration to create modern aircraft systems.”

The Voronezh strike is the second time Ukraine has hit an oil depot this week.

Ukraine has increased the regularity of its long-range strikes into Russia for the past several months, damaging energy infrastructure and military-industrial facilities.

Pro-Russian candidate leads Romanian poll ahead of May election

A pro-Russian candidate currently leads the Romanian polls four months before a crucial election in May.

Calin Georgescu, the far-right candidate who opposes Romanian support for Ukraine in its defense against Putin’s invasion, is the voters’ top choice ahead of a re-run of a presidential election.

The European Union state’s top court annulled the initial presidential election two days before the second round of voting, due to allegations of Russian interference.

The election of Georgescu would be a critical blow for Ukraine, which has relied on Romania to export millions of tons of Ukrainian grain through its Black Sea port of Constanta, trained Ukrainian fighter pilots and donated a Patriot air defence battery to Kyiv.

Georgescu is critical of NATO and has praised Romania’s fascist leaders of the 1930s. The EU court said he had benefited from a social media campaign likely orchestrated by Russia – Moscow denied the accusations.

But the latest polls for the first round show Georgescu set to gain 38 percent of the vote, with Crin Antonescu, leader of the pro-European governing coalition, sitting at just 25 percent.

Decisive Trump could change the course of history – senior Russian official

The chief of Russia’s $23 billion sovereign wealth fund said new US president Donald Trump’s decisive leadership could “change the course of history” on Tuesday.

His praise came after MR Trump signed a batch of executive orders straight after his inauguration. Kirill Dmitriev, CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), said Mr Trump’s actions could boost growth and open opportunities for dialogue.

“President Trump’s bold actions today prove that decisive leadership can change the course of history, unlocking economic growth and transforming global challenges into opportunities for dialogue and resolution through problem solving,” Mr Dmitriev said.

Mr Dmitriev, who is currently under US sanctions deemed illegal by Russian officials, is a US-educated former Goldman Sachs banker who played a key role in early contracts between Moscow and Trump’s first administration, after election in 2016.

Trump has a key decision to make on Ukraine – is he an ally of Kyiv or Putin?

In Ukraine’s capital, they know that the 47th president of the US is no particular friend. They also believe he’s potty about Vladimir Putin, and that may be to their advantage when Trump comes around to renewing military support for a nation fighting off the Kremlin.

Officials here are philosophical and diplomatic, even when speaking privately, about the incoming president. They’re keen to make a new relationship work – but also know that if there’s one legacy Trump won’t want attached to his name is that he was a patsy for the Russian president.

Russia’s battlefield losses hit record high, says Ukraine – as it prepares for impact of Trump presidency

The Ukrainian military chief has said that 150,000 of Vladimir Putin’s troops were killed in 2024, as the countries prepare for a new era of their conflict after Donald Trump re-enters the White House.

A record 434,000 casualties, including the wounded, were suffered last year taking total Russian casualties to 819,000, claimed Oleksandr Syrskyi, Ukraine’s commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces. “This year of combat has cost them more than the previous two years of the war combined,” Mr Syrskyi told Ukrainian TV channel TSN.

Russia has gained ground in eastern Ukraine over the past year, but at the cost of heavy casualties as it throws waves of soldiers at Ukraine’s defensive lines.

Moscow and Kyiv are also seeking battlefield gains to strengthen their negotiating positions ahead of any prospective talks to end the three-year-old war.

    Arpan Rai21 January 2025 07:58

The tensions between Ukraine and Russia have been escalating in recent months, with fears of a full-scale war breaking out between the two nations. However, a new development has emerged that has sent shockwaves throughout the international community.

The German military has issued a stark warning, stating that Russian President Vladimir Putin is rapidly rearming his forces for a possible attack on NATO. This revelation has raised concerns about the potential for a major conflict in Eastern Europe, and has put pressure on NATO members to bolster their defenses in response.

The situation in Ukraine remains highly volatile, with reports of increased Russian military activity along the border and ongoing fighting in the eastern regions of the country. The possibility of a Russian invasion of Ukraine has become a real and imminent threat, and the international community is closely monitoring the situation.

As tensions continue to rise, it is crucial for world leaders to engage in diplomatic efforts to de-escalate the situation and prevent a catastrophic conflict from erupting. The stakes are high, and the consequences of a war between Russia and NATO could be devastating for all involved.

Stay tuned for more updates on the Ukraine-Russia war as the situation continues to evolve. Let us hope for a peaceful resolution to this crisis before it is too late.

  • Trump’s outsider Cabinet picks are rapidly gaining support

WASHINGTON (AP) — One by one, all the president-elect’ s men, and women, are falling into place in his Cabinet.

While Defense Secretary pick Pete Hegseth’s nomination was teetering toward collapse just weeks ago, he now appears on track for confirmation after a fiery Senate hearing that focused on his drinking, views of women in combat and lack of high-profile management experience for the top U.S. military job.

President-elect Donald Trump’s other nominees pushed Wednesday through a gauntlet of confirmation hearings with the help of allied Senate Republicans carrying them toward the finish line, despite Democratic objections. One of them, potential FBI director Kash Patel, popped into a private Senate GOP lunch Wednesday to say hello.

“These nominees are bold choices,” said Sen. John Barrasso of Wyoming, the GOP whip, in earlier remarks.

He predicted the Senate will begin start voting on Inauguration Day, Jan. 20, to confirm Trump’s picks.

A long haul for some of Trump’s picks

To be sure, Trump’s more controversial choices of Patel, Tulsi Gabbard and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., have yet to come before senators for public questioning. Once they do, they face a long haul ahead in winning over skeptics from both sides of the political aisle, Republicans and Democrats alike.

In a letter to Republican senators Wednesday, an organization headed by Trump’s former vice president, Mike Pence, said it was “deeply concerned” over Kennedy over his views on abortion, and urged senators to reject him for secretary of Health and Human Services.

But Hegseth’s ability to mount a political comeback, take the fight to his critics and turn his nomination into a litmus test of Trump’s Make America Great Again movement stands as a powerful example of the incoming White House’s ability to get what it wants. The Trump team’s allies, including billionaire Elon Musk and others, amplified support for Hegseth, pushing him forward.

“If anyone in the Senate GOP votes against confirming Pete Hegseth after his stellar performance today, there will be a primary challenge waiting for you,” wrote Trump ally Charlie Kirk on X. “You can take that to the bank.”

Momentum for Hegseth — and some others

The Senate Armed Services Committee is expected to vote on Hegseth’s nomination on Monday, sending it to the full Senate for consideration, with confirmation possible later that week.

With a nod of support from GOP Sen. Joni Ernst of Iowa, a combat veteran and sexual assault survivor who initially had questions for Hegseth, the former Army National Guard veteran powered past his biggest potential roadblock. Ernst faced an onslaught of personal and political attacks as she wavered on supporting Hegseth, an early signal to others.

Sen. Kevin Cramer, R-N.D., said the criticism of Hegseth was not as powerful as the image of “a warrior with dust on his boots who’s actually done the things.”

On Wednesday, a half dozen more Trump nominees appeared before Senate committees as his team floods the zone, senators dashing between hearing rooms to participate in as many sessions as possible.

Pam Bondi, the nominee for Attorney General, was grilled by Democrats probing whether she believed Trump lost the 2020 election, she said Biden won, or would stand up to presidential pardons for those convicted of crimes in relation to Jan. 6, 2021.

“You say the right things, that you’re going to be the ‘people’s lawyer,’” said Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn.

“But I believe being the ‘people’s lawyer’ means you have to be able to say no to the president of the United States,” he said. “You have to be able to say Donald Trump lost the 2020 election, you dodged that question… You have to be able to say Jan. 6 insurrectionists who committed violence shouldn’t be pardoned.”

Bondi responded: “I don’t have to say anything. I will answer the questions to the best of my ability, and honestly.”

Another Trump nominee, Russ Vought, a Project 2025 architect tapped to lead the White House Office of Management and Budget, was asked if he would commit to releasing congressional approved funding for Ukraine. He vowed to “always commit to upholding the law.”

And California Democratic Sen. Alex Padilla asked Trump’s Energy nominee Chris Wright if he still believes “wildfires are just hype,” in the aftermath of the devastating Southern California fires that have killed at least 25 people and destroyed thousands of homes.

Wright said he stood by his past comments. He then said climate change is real before Padilla cut him off.

Republicans eye quick votes after Trump’s inauguration

On Monday, Trump is expected come inside the Capitol after he is inaugurated to sign the paperwork to formally nominate his picks for top Cabinet and administrative positions, launching the confirmation process.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune has said the Senate will vote on nominees as soon as they are ready.

First up could be Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., a former Trump rival for the 2016 GOP presidential nomination, who is now the president-elect’s choice for secretary of state.

Rubio promised an “America First” foreign policy agenda during his own confirmation hearing Wednesday. As a well-known senator, he is expected to have broad support from Republicans, as well as Democrats. His confirmation vote could be as soon as Monday evening.

Other nominees, including Hegseth, are expected to face a tougher path to confirmation.

Republicans narrowly hold a majority in the Senate, 53-47, but they are down to 52 after Vice President-elect JD Vance resigned his seat last week ahead of taking office. That means Trump’s nominees need support from almost every GOP senator for majority confirmation over objections from Democrats.

Moreover, Democrats are expected to mount procedural hurdles that would require Hegseth and other nominees to go through multiple steps before final confirmation. Consideration of Hegseth and others could drag toward the end of next week.

Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer all but acknowledged Democrats, as the minority, are essentially powerless to prevent Trump from getting his desired team.

“It’s important to have a record of these nominees,” Schumer said Wednesday as the hearings pushed ahead. “Even if they get confirmed in the end.”

In a surprising turn of events, President-elect Donald Trump’s unconventional choices for his Cabinet are starting to gain widespread support among the American public. Despite initial skepticism and criticism, Trump’s outsider picks are quickly proving to be popular among many voters.

From former Exxon Mobil CEO Rex Tillerson as Secretary of State to retired Marine General James Mattis as Secretary of Defense, Trump’s Cabinet selections have been met with a mix of praise and controversy. However, as the confirmation hearings for these nominees have progressed, many are beginning to see the value in having individuals with diverse backgrounds and fresh perspectives in key leadership positions.

One of the most notable picks, Betsy DeVos for Secretary of Education, has garnered support from advocates of school choice and charter schools. DeVos, a billionaire philanthropist and education reformer, has been a vocal proponent of giving parents more options when it comes to their children’s education. Her nomination has been met with enthusiasm from those who believe in shaking up the traditional public education system.

Another unexpected choice, Dr. Ben Carson for Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, has also been gaining traction among Trump supporters. Carson, a retired neurosurgeon and former Republican presidential candidate, brings a unique perspective to the role and has promised to focus on revitalizing inner cities and providing opportunities for those in need.

While some critics have raised concerns about the lack of government experience among Trump’s Cabinet picks, many are optimistic about the potential for fresh ideas and innovative solutions to be brought to the table. With the confirmation process underway, it remains to be seen how these outsider choices will fare in their respective roles, but one thing is clear – Trump’s unconventional approach to staffing his Cabinet is resonating with a significant portion of the American electorate.

  • Hull City moving for AS Monaco player – Could become concrete rapidly

When we brought news on Thursday of Hull City being on the verge of signing Nordin Amrabat, it’s fair to say the response was mixed, with ‘He’s 37!’ being the typical reaction.

The Championship club need to add some quality help this month as they battle to avoid relegation from the division and try to make sure they start next season on a firmer footing.

Thursday evening saw claims from Turkey that talks for Fenerbahce owned Lincoln Henrique had kicked off again, with Acun Ilicali trying to convince him to move to Hull City on loan.

He’s a 26-year-old attacking midfielder and the latest Turkish slant is that he’s agreed to the move, although it’s worth noting there’s not universal agreement on that.

    Now there’s more excitement.

Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri reports Hull City have recently – and we’re assuming very recently – tried to get information about signing Eliot Matazo.

Tavolieri believes it’s a situation to watch closely because Hull City could turn that interest concrete quickly.

Matazo is a 22-year-old Belgian central midfielder who currently plays for AS Monaco. Well, we say play but he’s only had around 180 minutes so far this season.

According to recent reports, Hull City are making a move for an AS Monaco player, and the deal could become concrete rapidly. The Championship side are said to be interested in bringing in the talented player to bolster their squad for the upcoming season.

This potential transfer could be a major coup for Hull City, as the AS Monaco player is highly rated and has a lot of potential to make a big impact in England. The player’s versatility and skillset could provide a significant boost to Hull City’s chances of success in the Championship.

Fans of Hull City will be eagerly awaiting further developments on this transfer as it could be a game-changer for the club. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story as it unfolds.
