Jason Bateman’s Rarely-Seen Daughter Is All Grown Up on Outing With Dad
Jason Bateman spent some quality time with his daughter, Francesca, this week, with the father-daughter pair bonding over their shared love of basketball.
The Arrested Development actor and his 18-year-old daughter were photographed at an LA Lakers game on Tuesday, Jan. 21, enjoying the match from courtside seats.
In the pics, Bateman wore a dark padded jacket with sweater sleeves and jeans, while Francesca opted for a navy blue hooded sweatshirt and rolled-up jeans with beige slippers.

In addition to Francesca, Bateman and his wife, Amanda Anka, share a second daughter, 12-year-old Maple Sylvie Bateman.
As People reported, Francesca starred in a holiday ad campaign for Gap when she was just 2, appearing on a billboard in Hollywood.
In 2018, Bateman opened up about accidentally spilling the beans about Santa Claus to his young daughter during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
Apparently, Francesca brought up the Easter Bunny during a ride to the airport, asking her father a pointed question.
“[She said,] ‘Daddy, here’s what I don’t understand. Bunnies don’t lay eggs, right?’” Bateman recalled. “And I’m like, ‘That’s true.’ And she said, ‘So I’m having a hard time putting a couple things together here.’ And I said, ‘What’s the problem?’ And she said, ‘The Easter-egg Bunny: Not real, right?’”
Bateman eventually caved, admitting that the Easter Bunny wasn’t real—and revealing the truth about Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy in the process.
In more recent years, Bateman said, he and Francesca have bonded over watching episodes of his award-winning series Ozark, which he called a “big deal.”

Voltron is based on the 1980s animated TV series that followed a team of space explorers who pilot a giant super robot known as Voltron, and was adapted from several Japanese anime TV series by Toei Animation.
The details of the plot are still unclear, as the cast, crew, and Amazon studio have all remained tight-lipped about how the storyline plays out.
According to Deadline, Amazon went into a bidding war with Universal and Warner Bros. in 2022 in order to secure the right to the production.
After winning the bidding war to secure the rights last August, Amazon took about three months to reveal Quinn-Toye had been cast in a lead role in early October.
The premise for Voltron centers on five young pilots in a battalion named the Robot Lions, which are vehicles that join together to form the mega-robot.

On the small screen side his resume features main roles in the hit series The Tudors (2007-2010), which ran on Showtime for four seasons, and The Witcher (2019-2023), following its three season run on Netflix.
