  • GTA 6 Trailer #2 Release Date Reportedly Leaked (And It’s Very Soon)

The GTA 6 trailer #2 release date may have just been leaked, by an unlikely source, and it’s very soon. It has been over a year since Rockstar Games revealed GTA 6 to the world. According to it though, the GTA 6 release date is still this holiday 2025. If this is true, then the second trailer is going to need to release quite soon in order for the game’s marketing campaign to kick in, which will no doubt be long and very expensive.

    Videos by ComicBook.com

The new leak specifically comes from a Miami-based Rock Band who claims their music is being featured in the next GTA 6 trailer. The question is whether they are just after some publicity on the back of the fervor of GTA 6 or whether they are telling the truth. It is also possible it is the latter, but they are mistaken about the details. Whatever the case, some Grand Theft Auto fans have taken the band at face value. And according to the band — Raven and the Dark Shadows — the second GTA 6 trailer is releasing next month.

“We a rock band out of Miami Beach, Florida. We are currently planning our Summer 2025 Tour and looking for ‘creepy/haunted’ venues to perform at,” writes the band on Reddit. “Our bands studio album, An Unkindness, features members of Pearl Jam, New Found Glory, Morphine, and Guns N Roses. Last year, we played Stephen Kings 75th birthday celebration. Next month, our brand new single, ‘Dracula New World Remix’, will be on the new trailer for GTA 6.”

Unfortunately, the Reddit post — made on the Launceston, Tasmania Reddit page of al places — does not disclose a specific release date. it just mentions February. As for the song, those interested can check it out below:

Of course, take this with a grain of salt. The fact the post was shared on the Launceston, Tasmania Reddit page doesn’t scream publicity stunt, however, that could be by design. That said, it also unclear why Rockstar Games would divulge to the band the trailer release date. And if it did do this, it would certainly put the information under NDA. So either there is nothing to this or the band just broke NDA.

At the moment of publishing, Rockstar Games has not commented on any of this in any capacity. We do not suspect this will change, but if it does, we will update the story accordingly. • SPIDER-MAN Star Tom Holland Will Reportedly Play The Lead Role In Christopher Nolan’s THE ODYSSEY

Following weeks of rumor and speculation, we recently got word that Christopher Nolan’s (The Dark Knight trilogy, Interstellar) next movie will actually be an adaptation of Homer’s The Odyssey, and the acclaimed filmmaker has assembled a very impressive cast of A-list talent, including Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o, Robert Pattinson and Charlize Theron.

“Christopher Nolan’s next film The Odyssey is a mythic action epic shot across the world using brand-new IMAX film technology. The film brings Homer’s foundational saga to IMAX film screens for the first time and opens in theaters everywhere on July 17, 2026,” said Universal Pictures in a statement when the project was announced.

The initial trade report noted that Damon was set to play the main character (Odysseus, presumably), but Deadline is now reporting that Holland will actually lead the ensemble. Whether this means that the Spider-Man star is playing a younger take on Odysseus is not clear, but there’s always a chance the story will split focus between the legendary hero and his son, Telemachus, who also has a significant part in the original tale.

Homer’s ancient Greek poem follows Odysseus and his crew on their journey home following the Trojan War, encountering all manner of threats along the way, including the Cyclops Polyphemus, the Sirens, and the witch-goddess Circe.

Will Nolan’s take feature gods and monsters? We assume the filmmaker will want to helm a faithful adaptation, but there’s always a chance he will decide to do a more grounded version of the story.

The poem has been adapted (sometimes very loosely) a number of times before, starting with the 1911 silent film by Giuseppe de Liguoro, and followed by 1954’s Ulysses starring Kirk Douglas. The Cohen Brothers’ O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000) is also based on the epic adventure, as is 2024’s The Return starring Ralph Fiennes.

Anime fans may also recall the ’80s Ulysses 31 series, which put a futuristic spin on the tale.

Back in 2015, Deadpool and Wolverine star Hugh Jackman was in talks to play Odysseus in an adaptation from Lionsgate and director Francis Lawrence, but the project never got off the ground.

Holland was quizzed about the project during a recent interview, but claimed to have been kept in the dark during his initial meeting with Nolan.

“To be perfectly honest, I don’t really know what it’s about,” the actor said on The Dish podcast. “I’m super excited, but it’s been pretty quiet about the project. I met with [Nolan] and it was awesome. He kind of loosely pitched what it is, and I’m sure when he’s ready he’ll announce what it’s about.”

Exciting news for fans of both Spider-Man and Christopher Nolan! According to recent reports, Tom Holland is set to play the lead role in Nolan’s upcoming film, The Odyssey.

The film is said to be a modern retelling of the classic Greek epic poem, following the journey of the hero Odysseus as he tries to return home after the Trojan War. With Nolan’s signature storytelling and Holland’s acting talent, this promises to be an epic adventure on the big screen.

Holland has already proven himself as a versatile actor, with his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe earning him critical acclaim. Now, fans can look forward to seeing him take on a new, challenging role in The Odyssey.

Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting project!

  • Cubs Reportedly Among the Teams Scouting Max Scherzer

Long-time MLB starter and future Hall of Famer Max Scherzer wants to keep his career going into his age-40/41 season, looking to bounce back from a 2024 season that saw him make just nine starts for the Rangers due to recovery from back surgery, a shoulder issue, and a hamstring strain. He was generally effective as a mid-rotation type when he could take the mound, but obviously it was not often enough.

So any team looking to bring Scherzer on is going to have to do so with an understanding that you might have to work around more absences, and figure out a way to manage his load. Because of the potential for him to still be very good, though, I don’t doubt a number of teams would take on the challenge.

Would the Cubs be one of those teams? We’ve talked about it before in a superficial way, but that was at the outset of the offseason, and before it became clear that the Cubs were not likely to add any of the surer-fire starter options in free agency. So, I could probably make an argument that Scherzer makes sense for a Cubs team trying to just add up as many innings as possible among a really wide variety of types of arms. That’s especially the case when you’re talking about a short-term deal for a guy with upside, and who brings some added value in the form of a particularly-intense, playoff-experienced guy.

Anyway, that’s all prelude to noting a Pat Ragazzo report on X that the Cubs were among at least eight teams that scouted a recent Scherzer throwing session, together with the Mets, Yankees, Dodgers, Blue Jays, Phillies, Braves, and Red Sox.

I think it’s important to note that the Cubs could have SO MANY reasons to scout a guy like Scherzer, even if their interest in signing him (and vice versa) were merely tepid. It’s an opportunity to do a little advance scouting in case you face him this year. An opportunity to get some more data on a certain type of pitcher at a certain age. An opportunity to be in-facility at Cressey Sports Performance and keep working on those relationships.

That isn’t to say the Cubs might not want Scherzer; like I said, I could envision a scenario where adding him to the mix makes a lot of sense at the right price. I’m only saying that the Cubs scouting Scherzer’s session is not quite the same thing as hearing, for example, that the Cubs are actually pursuing him. It’ll be interesting to see where this goes, but if Scherzer can get a deal like fellow quadragenarian Justin Verlander got from the Giants (one-year, $15 million), I tend to doubt you’ll see the Cubs involved. We’ve had no indication that the Cubs have more than about $20 million left in the offseason budget, and that’s got to cover an impact reliever and any other ancillary moves they decide to make.

According to recent reports, the Chicago Cubs are among the teams scouting Washington Nationals pitcher Max Scherzer. The veteran right-hander is considered one of the top pitchers in baseball and could be a valuable addition to any team looking to bolster their rotation.

Scherzer, who is a three-time Cy Young Award winner, is currently in the final year of his contract with the Nationals. With Washington struggling in the standings, there is speculation that they may look to trade Scherzer before the deadline to acquire some valuable assets for the future.

The Cubs, who are currently in the mix for a playoff spot, could benefit greatly from adding a pitcher of Scherzer’s caliber to their rotation. With a strong core of young position players, adding a veteran like Scherzer could give them a much-needed boost in their quest for a postseason berth.

While it remains to be seen if the Cubs will make a move for Scherzer, it is clear that they are doing their due diligence by scouting the talented pitcher. Stay tuned for any updates on this developing story.

  • Pete Carroll, Raiders reportedly agree to 3-year contract to make him franchise’s next head coach

The Las Vegas Raiders and Pete Carroll have reportedly reached an agreement to make him the franchise’s next head coach, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

It’s a three-year deal for Carroll with an option for a fourth, per Schefter.

Carroll, 73, coached the Seattle Seahawks from 2010-2023 where he led them to victory in Super Bowl XLVIII before parting ways with the franchise last January. Seahawks owner Jody Allen said at the time that Carroll’s role would “evolve” from head coach to advisor.

After moving on from coaching in Seattle, Carroll returned to USC in the summer to teach. While he was taking on a different role, Carroll — one of just four coaches to win both an NCAA national title and Super Bowl — said that while he didn’t have a desire to get back on the sidelines at the time, he could still handle the workload that comes with being a head coach.

“I could coach tomorrow,” Carroll told Seattle sports radio station 93.3 KJR. “I’m physically in the best shape I’ve been in in a long time. I’m ready to do all the activities that I’m doing and feeling really good about it. I could, but I don’t really — I’m not desiring it at this point.”

The Raiders are undergoing big leadership changes this offseason after firing head coach Antonio Pierce and then dismissing general manager Tom Telesco. They reportedly hired Tampa Bay Buccaneers assistant general manager John Spytek as their new GM.

In taking the Raiders job, Carroll will join Bill Parcells and Marty Schottenheimer as permanent coaches who led four NFL franchises after he was with the Seahawks, New England Patriots and New York Jets.

Now that the Raiders have their head coach, that leaves the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints as the last open NFL jobs.

According to sources close to the situation, Pete Carroll and the Las Vegas Raiders have reached an agreement on a 3-year contract that will make him the franchise’s next head coach. This move comes after the Raiders parted ways with former head coach Jon Gruden earlier this season.

Carroll, who previously served as the head coach of the Seattle Seahawks for over a decade, brings a wealth of experience and success to the Raiders organization. Under his leadership, the Seahawks made multiple playoff appearances and won Super Bowl XLVIII.

The decision to bring Carroll on board is seen as a bold move by the Raiders, as they look to turn their fortunes around and compete for a championship in the upcoming seasons. With his proven track record of success and ability to develop young talent, Carroll is expected to inject new energy and creativity into the Raiders’ roster.

Fans of the Silver and Black are eagerly anticipating Carroll’s arrival and are hopeful that he can lead the team to success in the years to come. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story. #PeteCarroll #Raiders #HeadCoach

  • Cowboys Reportedly Interested In Former Patriots Coach For Vacancy

The Dallas Cowboys are being a little more patient in the search for their next head coach than the New England Patriots.

While Robert Kraft named Mike Vrabel as Jerod Mayo’s successor exactly one week after moving on from the first-year coach, Jerry Jones is nearly two weeks into his search for Mike McCarthy’s replacement.

Jones has reportedly reached out to former Patriots and Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram’s Nick Harris.

“The conversation has been described as informal, although the interest is legitimate enough to be reported,” Harris wrote. “There are no set plans for a formal interview as of Thursday afternoon.”

Carroll may have an edge in the vacancy because the Super Bowl XLVIII champion has ties within the Cowboys organization. Current Dallas offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer was on Carroll’s staff in Seattle and Cowboys offensive line coach Mike Solari held the same position for the Seahawks under Carroll.

    Story continues below advertisement

Jones began his search for McCarthy’s replacement with a conversation with Colorado coach Deion Sanders that has not materialized since. Seattle assistant Leslie Frazier, former New York Jets coach Robert Saleh and Schottenheimer are the only in-person interviews Jones has conducted. Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore had a virtual interview since his team is still in the playoffs.

Carroll has 18 seasons of NFL head coaching experience. In New England, he led the Patriots to a 27-21 record across three seasons. The Patriots made the playoffs in his first two seasons, but after missing the playoffs in 1999, Kraft fired Carroll and hired Bill Belichick as his successor.

According to recent reports, the Dallas Cowboys are reportedly interested in former New England Patriots coach, Bill Belichick, to fill their head coaching vacancy. Belichick, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest coaches in NFL history, recently parted ways with the Patriots after a successful 20-year tenure.

The Cowboys are in need of a new head coach after firing Mike McCarthy following a disappointing season. Belichick’s proven track record of success and ability to lead a team to multiple Super Bowl victories make him an attractive candidate for the Cowboys.

While there has been no official confirmation from either party about the potential interest, the idea of Belichick coaching America’s Team has certainly sparked excitement among fans and analysts alike. It remains to be seen whether the Cowboys will be able to lure Belichick away from retirement and back to the sidelines, but it’s clear that his name is at the top of their wish list. Stay tuned for more updates as this story develops.

  • Talks Between Blue Jays, Pete Alonso Reportedly “Advancing”

5:30pm: Tim Healey of Newsday provides a similar report to Martino, saying that the two sides are deep in talks. However, Shi Davidi and Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet report that there’s no gaining momentum for the Jays to sign Alonso or Scherzer.

3:05pm: The Blue Jays have been known for a while to have interest in free agent first baseman Pete Alonso. Andy Martino of SNY reports today that talks between the two sides are “advancing,” though he cautions that nothing is done yet and it can’t be certain that a deal will be completed.

Though nothing is done yet, it would be quite an interesting offseason pivot for the Jays if they could get the deal over the line. For the first few months of the winter, the club was defined by coming up just short in their pursuits of free agents like Juan Soto, Max Fried, Corbin Burnes and Roki Sasaki. When combined with last winter’s near miss on Shohei Ohtani and a disappointing 2024 season, frustration was high among the fanbase.

The volume of the murmuring decreased somewhat in recent days as the Jays signed outfield Anthony Santander to provide the lineup with a power boost. But even after that deal, it didn’t seem as though the Jays were done. They reportedly still have payroll space and have been recently connected to players like Alonso, Jurickson Profar and Max Scherzer.

If Alonso is ultimately brought north of the border alongside Santander, the two would make for fairly similar additions. Both players have power as their clear best trait, with their other contributions a bit more muted.

Alonso has clubs 226 home runs over the past six seasons, which puts him second only to Aaron Judge for that span. But despite that huge power, he has lingered unsigned in free agency as spring training is just over the horizon.

That is perhaps due to the other parts of his profile. His 9.9% career walk rate is a bit above average but not by much. He doesn’t have huge speed on the basepaths. The reviews on his defense have been mixed, with Alonso having earned +2 Defensive Runs Saved in his career but getting a grade of -24 from Outs Above Average. His offense has also been relatively lower of late. He slashed .261/.349/.535 through 2022 for a wRC+ of 137, but then hit .229/.324/.480 for a 121 wRC+ over the past two years.

That’s still really strong production but it’s possible that it contributed to a gap between what Alonso and his reps were expecting from free agency and what clubs were willing to offer. The power-only right-handed slugger is a profile that hasn’t been paid well in a while and Alonso’s recent dip may not have helped him.

Many expected him and the Mets to reunite but the club didn’t seem too keen on that. Even as Alonso and his reps have pivoted to considering short-term deals recently, the Mets apparently capped their offer in the range of $68-70MM over three years. That amounts to something close to $23MM annually, a lower average annual value than Cody Bellinger, Blake Snell and Jordan Montgomery were able to get even though they remained unsigned into February/March of last year.

It’s unclear what kind of terms Alonso and Jays are discussing, but he would be a sensible fit for them, despite his flaws. The Jays had some strengths last year but power was a clear weakness. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was the only guy on the club to get to the 20-homer plateau. The team-wide tally of 156 long balls was 26th out of the 30 clubs in the league, ahead of only the Marlins, Rays, Nationals and White Sox.

Their walk rate, however, trailed only six teams. Their defense was considered quite strong, with DRS having them tops in the majors and OAA considering them the fourth-best. Therefore, adding a player who mostly provides power was a sensible target coming into the offseason.

They already made one such addition with Santander. Like Alonso, his power is a greater strength than his defense, speed or on-base ability. But the Jays are seemingly willing to go after the weakest part of their 2024 club and attack it.

Fitting everyone into the lineup would be a bit of a challenge. The Jays already have a first baseman in Guerrero. With Alonso on the club, the two would presumably share first base and the designated hitter spot somewhat regularly. Guerrero has played a bit of third base in his career but only 14 games in the past five seasons. Most of those came last year as the club was playing out the string on a lost season.

Without Alonso on the club, corner outfielders Santander and George Springer make sense as the top candidates to receive lengthy stints in the DH spot. As mentioned, Santander is not a great fielder. Springer has been a good defender in his career but is now 35 years old and he’s naturally sliding a bit in that department. Adding Alonso would limit the ability of the Jays to use Springer or Santander in the DH spot, unless they are willing to put Guerrero at third more often than expected. As of now, Ernie Clement profiles as the club’s best option at the hot corner. Since he’s more of a glove-first guy capable of playing other positions, it’s possible he could be deployed in more of a utility role. Speculatively speaking, it’s possible the Jays could start some games with Guerrero and Alonso at the corners, with Clement subbing in at third late in the game if the club is ahead and wants to prioritize defense. At that point, either Guerrero or Alonso could head to the bench, with the other at first.

It’s an interesting gambit and time will tell if the two sides get anything done. The Jays apparently still have some money to spend and have some options available. Whether that’s Alonso, Profar, Scherzer, someone else or some combination, it appears they are still busy in trying to salvage the offseason after a few misses earlier on.

Signing Alonso would also require the club to forfeit a draft pick and $500K of international bonus pool space because he rejected a qualifying offer from the Mets. The Jays already gave up pool space to sign Santander but added $2MM in the ill-fated Myles Straw deal when they were courting Sasaki, so they probably aren’t especially worried about that part. Since they already surrendered their second-best pick in the upcoming draft to get Santander, signing Alonso would mean also forfeiting their third-highest pick. The Mets would receive a compensation pick for Alonso leaving, but as a club that paid the competitive balance tax last year, that pick wouldn’t come until after the fourth round.

The Toronto Blue Jays are reportedly making progress in talks with the New York Mets regarding first baseman Pete Alonso. According to sources close to the negotiations, the discussions are said to be “advancing” as both teams look to finalize a potential deal.

Alonso, a two-time All-Star and 2019 National League Rookie of the Year, would bring a power bat to the Blue Jays lineup and provide much-needed depth at first base. The 26-year-old slugger is known for his prodigious home run hitting ability and would be a valuable addition to a team looking to make a deep playoff run.

While nothing has been officially confirmed yet, the fact that talks are progressing is a positive sign for both teams. Stay tuned for more updates as this story develops.

  • Lakers’ LeBron James, Bronny James reportedly turned down Skills Challenge invite

LeBron James and his son, Bronny James, turned down the chance to make history again. The two declined to compete in the 2025 Kia Skills Challenge at NBA All-Star weekend, according to league insider Chris Haynes. They would’ve been the first father-son duo to compete in the Skills Challenge.

The report also noted that the younger James did not accept an invitation to join the Rising Stars team as a G League player. San Francisco, home of the Golden State Warriors, will host this year’s NBA All-Star weekend.

‘It was a special moment’ — Magic Johnson shares his thoughts on LeBron & Bronny James playing together for the first time

The Jameses first made history in the Lakers’ season opener, the first time that a father and son played together in the same NBA game.

Los Angeles selected Bronny James with the No. 55 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft out of USC. He has appeared in 11 NBA games this season, averaging just 2.3 minutes. He has been up and down between the Los Angeles Lakers and their G League affiliate, the South Bay Lakers.

[Related: Everything to know about the 2025 NBA All-Star Game]

In seven G League games, the younger James has played 26.9 minutes per contest and averaged 13.4 points, 3.9 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game, while shooting 36.6/21.2/66.7.

Meanwhile, the 40-year-old James is averaging 23.7 points, 9.0 assists and 7.5 rebounds per game, while shooting 51.3/39.8/76.3. He was named an All-Star for a record 21st time Thursday.

The Lakers entered their Thursday night matchup against the Boston Celtics at 23-18, good for the fifth seed in the Western Conference.

According to recent reports, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James and his son, Bronny James, have both declined invitations to participate in the NBA All-Star Skills Challenge.

While LeBron has previously participated in the event and has showcased his impressive dribbling and passing skills, it seems that he has chosen to focus on resting and preparing for the second half of the NBA season.

As for Bronny, the talented high school basketball player has decided to prioritize his high school team and upcoming games over participating in the Skills Challenge.

Although fans would have loved to see the father-son duo compete in the event, it’s understandable that they have chosen to prioritize other commitments. We can only hope to see them showcase their skills on the court in other ways in the future.

  • Former VP Harris reportedly asking Hillary Clinton for advice on what to do after losing to Trump

Former Vice President Kamala Harris’ future remains unclear months after her election loss to now-President Donald Trump.

As she grapples with navigating next steps, Harris has spoken with family and close friends, including the one other person who has been in her exact position: Hillary Clinton, New York Magazine reported. The two have reportedly spoken several times since Harris’ defeat.

Some have speculated that she will stage a gubernatorial run next year in California, as her close friend, Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom, is limited on terms and can’t run again. Others think she still has her eye on the Oval Office and will launch another bid for the presidency. Shortly after the election, Harris reportedly told advisors not to make any plans that would preclude her from seeking the presidency in 2028, according to New York Magazine.

The former vice president has not spoken directly about her future, but she has hinted that she’s not done with politics. Last week, just days before the end of her time as then-President Joe Biden’s VP, Harris addressed a room of staff as she participated in the decades-long tradition of signing her desk drawer. During her brief remarks, Harris said she would not “go quietly into the night,” saying that “our work is not done.”

The comments she made to staff echoed a message from her concession speech in which she told supporters, “While I concede this election, I do not concede the fight that fueled this campaign.”

HARRIS FORMALLY CONCEDES ONE DAY AFTER TRUMP’S SWEEPING VICTORY

After her 2020 bid for the presidency failed, Harris was given a clear path forward as Biden’s pick to be his running mate. While Biden seemed to imply that he would be a one-term president, he announced his re-election campaign in April 2023.

However, after a disastrous debate that highlighted ongoing issues, Biden made the historic decision to drop out of the race in July 2024. This was just one week after a gunman nearly killed Trump during a rally in Pennsylvania.

Shortly after dropping out of the race, Biden endorsed his VP, moving her to the top of the ticket. Some believed this move could have hurt her prospects, as voters saw her nomination as a coronation, in stark contrast to the “save democracy” message channeled by the Democrats.

HOLLYWOOD FINDS FAILURE TO ELECT KAMALA HARRIS ‘UNSETTLING’: ‘NOT THE DRIVER ANYMORE’

Harris and Clinton have more than election losses in common. Both were backed by a long list of Hollywood A-listers, whose endorsements ultimately did not help. Not even Taylor Swift could make the “Harris Era” happen.

“The outcome of this election is not what we hoped, not what we fought for, not what we voted for,” Harris said in her concession speech. “But hear when I say … the light of America’s promise will always burn bright as long as we never give up and as long as we keep fighting.”

Former Vice President Kamala Harris has reportedly reached out to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for advice on what to do after losing the 2020 presidential election to Donald Trump. Harris, who made history as the first female vice president, is said to be seeking guidance on how to navigate her political career following her defeat.

According to sources close to Harris, the vice president is feeling lost and uncertain about her future in politics after the disappointing loss to Trump. Clinton, who also experienced a tough defeat in the 2016 presidential election, is said to be providing Harris with mentorship and support during this challenging time.

Harris and Clinton have reportedly been having regular conversations about how to bounce back from defeat and continue fighting for their shared values and beliefs.
