Ric Flair Says AEW Is Doing “Phenomenal” These Days, Grayson Waller Wants To Push Boundaries, More

QT Marshall has earned himself a future ROH World TV Championship match after “defeating” Komander on this week’s episode of ROH TV on HonorClub.

The match ended in a 10-minute time limit draw, which means that Marshall will get a future title shot. As of this writing, there’s no word on when the match will be taking place.

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair has nothing but high praise for AEW President Tony Khan and the work he’s been doing as of late.

During a recent appearance on the “Five Star Podcast,” The Nature Boy opined on Tony Khan’s promotion and their friendship.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On AEW: “They’re doing a phenomenal job, AEW. They’re on a level playing field entertainment-wise with anybody.”

On his friendship with Tony Khan: “We’re very close. I think he’s one of the greatest, not just great promoter, I think he’s one of the greatest people, human beings I’ve ever met. He is very caring and genuine guy. He’s got more money than God. I bought time on a jet — Tony’s got a jet, probably several.”

During a recent appearance on “The West Sport” podcast, Grayson Waller commented on whether WWE will push some boundaries when WWE RAW moves to Netflix next week.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On WWE moving to Netflix: “It’s super exciting. Obviously, you know already, the fan base on Netflix is a lot bigger. We’re going to be in a lot more homes, pretty much everyone, their mom, their grandma, their cousin, everyone has a Netflix account and being able to continue to watch NXT, SmackDown, Raw, PLEs, all of it on Netflix is going to be great. But for us too, this is an opportunity for us to kind of show out in a different platform and not having those constraints of a television network is kind of the way I think about it. I think Netflix believes in the WWE product and WWE is ready to deliver something huge. I think Netflix is the perfect home for it.”

On the temptation of pushing boundaries on Netflix: “I think there’s definitely the temptation to do that, but for WWE, we are a family product and as much as we like to push the envelope at times, we do it at times when it’s necessary. Even though we’re on Netflix and maybe people think that the gloves are off and we can say what we want, at the end of the day, we still want families to come to the show, we still want you to bring your son and your daughter. So, Grayson Waller is going to say some mean things, but he’s going to be very careful about what he says.”

Ric Flair, the legendary wrestler known as “The Nature Boy,” recently praised All Elite Wrestling (AEW) for their success in the wrestling industry. In a recent interview, Flair stated that AEW is doing “phenomenal” these days and commended the promotion for their innovative storytelling and exciting matches.

Flair’s comments come at a time when AEW is gaining momentum and attracting a growing fanbase. With stars like Kenny Omega, Jon Moxley, and Chris Jericho leading the charge, AEW has quickly become a major player in the world of professional wrestling.

In other news, NXT star Grayson Waller is looking to push boundaries and make a name for himself in the wrestling world. Waller recently spoke about his desire to break out and become a top star in the industry, stating that he is willing to do whatever it takes to achieve success.

With his athleticism, charisma, and determination, Waller has the potential to become a breakout star in the world of professional wrestling. Fans can expect to see great things from Waller as he continues to push boundaries and make a name for himself in the industry.

Overall, the wrestling world is buzzing with excitement as AEW continues to impress and stars like Grayson Waller aim to make their mark. With so much talent and passion in the industry, fans can look forward to many more exciting moments and memorable matches in the future.

  • Ex-WWE Legend Ric Flair Praises AEW And Tony Khan, Says He Has One More Match In Him

Ex-WWE Legend Ric Flair Praises AEW And Tony Khan, Says He Has One More Match In Him

Wrestling legend Ric Flair hasn’t appeared on AEW programming since the Revolution 2024 pay-per-view in March, but it seems the WWE Hall of Famer still has a lot of love for All Elite Wrestling and its CEO, Tony Khan. Flair was a recent guest on the “Five Star Podcast,” where he was asked if he would be at the January 4 episode of “AEW Collision.” Flair said he wouldn’t — a recent report indicates he was initially booked for the show before being pulled — but that anyone who attends that show will be for an incredible experience.

“They’re doing a phenomenal job, AEW,” Flair said. “They’re on a level playing field entertainment-wise with anybody.”

It was reported in the summer of 2024 that Flair’s time with AEW was done, despite signing a multi-year deal with the company that also made Wooooo! Energy the official drink of AEW in November 2023. However, Flair still referred to AEW as “our company” and explained that he is still good friends with Khan.

“We’re very close,” Flair insisted. “I think he’s one of the greatest, not just great promoter, I think he’s one of the greatest people, human beings I’ve ever met. He is very caring and genuine guy. He’s got more money than God. I bought time on a jet — Tony’s got a jet, probably several.”

Flair was also asked about the possibility of having one more match, despite retiring in 2022 after a high-profile bout that literally gave him a heart attack. “The Nature Boy” fully believes that he has got one more match left in him, but that match seemingly won’t be happening in AEW.

“Once Tony found out I was on blood thinners, he wouldn’t let me get in the ring,” Flair admitted.

Ex-WWE Legend Ric Flair Praises AEW And Tony Khan, Says He Has One More Match In Him

In a recent interview, wrestling icon Ric Flair had nothing but praise for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and its founder Tony Khan. Flair, who is considered one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, commended AEW for its innovative approach to the sport and its commitment to showcasing top-tier talent.

Flair also expressed his admiration for Tony Khan, calling him a “visionary” and a “true wrestling fan.” He credited Khan for his dedication to the industry and for creating a platform that allows wrestlers to showcase their skills on a global stage.

But that’s not all Flair had to say in the interview. The Nature Boy also dropped a bombshell when he revealed that he believes he still has one more match left in him. Despite being 72 years old, Flair is confident that he can still step into the ring and put on a show for his fans.

Could we see Ric Flair make a return to the squared circle in AEW? Only time will tell, but one thing is for sure – the wrestling world would be buzzing with excitement if the Nature Boy were to lace up his boots once again. Stay tuned for more updates on this potential comeback!

Ric Flair Open To In-Ring Return – TJR Wrestling

    Ric Flair can’t walk away.

In an event run under the famous Jim Crockett Promotions banner on July 31st, 2022, Ric Flair wrestled what he said would be his last match. During the bout where he tagged with Andrade El Idolo against Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett, Flair struggled badly, and later admitted he passed out twice.

However, Ric Flair has since given mixed messages on his wrestling future, seemingly teasing a comeback before distancing himself from the suggestion.

This speculation only increased when he began working with AEW in late 2023 before appearing at Revolution in March 2024 as part of Sting’s retirement match. At the time, there were claims Flair wanted to do more physicality, but his pitches were blocked by management.

During an appearance on the Five Star Podcast, Flair confirmed Tony Khan had kept him out of the ring while working in AEW due to fears about his health.

“Once Tony (Khan) found out I was on blood thinners, he wouldn’t let me get in the ring,”

When it was suggested that Flair had one more match in him, the WWE Hall of Famer enthusiastically agreed.

    “Hell yeah, I do.”

Ric Flair Tips AEW Star To Make WWE Return

During a different interview, Ric Flair predicted that Mercedes Mone would return to WWE before her career ended. The veteran made the claim while discussing Charlotte Flair’s biggest rivals, adding that his daughter and Mone had better chemistry than anyone in history.

Charlotte Flair has been out of action since December 2023 when she suffered a major knee injury, however, she’s expected back very soon.

Ahead of making her AEW debut, Mercedes Mone admitted she will return to WWE one day. She followed that up with another admission in August, confirming she wanted to rejoin the company in 2023.

  • “Wanna watch someone die?” – WWE Superstar warns Ric Flair for his latest statement; The Nature Boy wants one more match

“Wanna watch someone die?” – WWE Superstar warns Ric Flair for his latest statement; The Nature Boy wants one more match

Ric Flair has admitted he wants to compete in one more match, despite retiring on May 16, 2022. WWE Superstar Bronson Reed put The Nature Boy on notice for his statement.

In 2024, Reed terrorized the WWE roster, mostly after his vicious attack on Seth Rollins, who was hit with six Tsunamis. The King of Monsters’ attack on Rollins saw The Visionary sit on the sidelines for multiple weeks. The Auszilla even competed in the Men’s WarGames Match where he teamed up with Solo Sikoa and his men in a losing effort against the OG Bloodline and CM Punk.

On X (fka Twitter), Reed reacted to a post about Flair expressing interest in returning for one more match. The 36-year-old claimed The Nature Boy might “die” if he gets hit with a Tsunami.

“People keep saying they want me to TSUNAMI him … yall really wanna watch someone die,” wrote Reed.

A former WWE writer just went after JBL for his comments HERE

    Check out Reed’s tweet below:

WWE Superstar Grayson Waller praised Bronson Reed

SmackDown Superstar Grayson Waller praised Bronson Reed and Rhea Ripley during a recent interview. Waller, Reed, and Ripley all hail from Australia and enjoyed quite a successful 2024.

Speaking to The West Sport, the former WWE Tag Team Champion reflected on Reed’s impressive performance in the last year and commented on how being part of the Men’s WarGames Match was a great opportunity for his countryman and that he had put in a great shift at the premium live event.

“Obviously, Rhea [Ripley] is who Rhea is. She’s already at the top of the company. But Bronson [Reed], I think the last few months, Bronson showed the world what we already knew about him. He’s one of the best, and he’s been in these prominent positions in that Bloodline match. So, that’s a huge opportunity and position for him, and I think he crushed it,” Waller said.

Reed will be sidelined for a few months after undergoing surgery for breaking his ankle during the Men’s WarGames Match at Survivor Series 2024. It remains to be seen when the former NXT North American Champion will return to WWE television.
