Man, 22, accused of robbing bank on Lyell Avenue


ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A man, 22, is charged with robbery after Rochester Police say he stole cash from the KeyBank on Lyell Avenue on Monday morning.

Officers say the suspect, Kevis Herd, whispered that he had a bomb and demanded money. RPD says that’s when the teller handed over the money and Herd ran away.

Officers responded to the bank just after 9 a.m. and tracked the suspect. Herd was taken into custody after a foot chase on Parkway.

Herd was taken to the Monroe County Jail and will be arraigned on Tuesday.

Montour man charged with robbing a Marshalltown convenience store


MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa (KCRG) – A 42-year-old man is facing charges after Marshalltown police officers say he attempted to rob a Jiffy Mart.

John David Henderson, age 42, of Montour, is facing charges including Robbery 1st Degree, Going Armed with Intent, and Public Intoxication.

On Thursday, December 26, at 8:37pm, Marshalltown Police Officers responded to the Jiffy Mart for a robbery. The victim told officers Henderson had pointed a firearm and demanded money, then ran away.

Officers found Henderson shortly after, and also recovered the firearm used.

Mr. Henderson was taken to the Marshall County Jail and remains held pending an initial court appearance.





Montour man charged with robbing a Marshalltown convenience store
