5. Logan Paul Officially #30 In The Men’s Royal Rumble
Logan Paul became one of the latest stars to declare for the 2025 men’s Royal Rumble match and let the fans know his intentions on the January 27 edition of WWE Raw on Netflix.
Unlike many other competitors, Paul is not concerned with going through 29 other participants because he knows he actually only needs to eliminate one to be the last man standing.
Paul officially being announced as the #30 entrant in the men’s Rumble would set him up for success in the bout.
The former United States Champion interacting with the all-star field of competitors like CM Punk and Seth Rollins should set the stage for some intriguing rivalries moving forward.

Every entrant in the Royal Rumble match goes in with intent to stake their claim a world championship match at WrestleMania. The goal is the same for all 30 participants, but each entrant may have a different mindset going into the match despite everyone having the same objective. While joining WWE’s “Royal Rumble Kickoff,” Sami Zayn opened up on how he feels going into the 2025 Royal Rumble match.
“Obviously a lot is being made of this Royal Rumble and with good reason,” Zayn said. “Triple H just came out here and said ‘probably the biggest Royal Rumble of all-time.’ 65,000 people in Indianapolis, the most star-studded lineup of any Royal Rumble of all-time, and I find myself getting asked all these questions about my relationship with everybody else in the match.”
The multi-time WWE Intercontinental Champion listed off names like Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, Seth Rollins, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, and Kevin Owens before acknowledging that while he feels he’s in the middle of what seems like a lot of controversy, he instead sees it as momentum.
“I know a thing or two about momentum in this company cause it comes and it goes, and I’ve had it and I’ve lost it and I’ve had it and I’ve lost it,” Zayn said. “I feel like I have the momentum to do something that I’ve never been able to do: win the Royal Rumble.”
Finally, kickoff host Pat McAfee addressed Zayn’s Helluva Kicks to Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes in past weeks that appeared accidental, asking Zayn for clarity.
“Well Pat, it’s one thing to question my actions,” Zayn warned, “but I feel like now you’re questioning my character.”

Former WWE Champion Roman Reigns recently discussed the unpredictability of current AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, reminiscing about their time in The Shield. After debuting at Survivor Series 2012, Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose formed an iconic faction.
In an interview with SHAK Wrestling, Reigns shared: “It’s been a while. I haven’t talked to him in a bit. The one thing about Mox is you can’t GPS him. You can’t be like, ‘Oh he’s right here, don’t worry’ – we had no clue where he is, but we always knew he would be there.”
He recalled moments of uncertainty, saying: “A lot of times we’d be up in the concourse, so we all get up there together and you’re wondering where he is… like, ‘Uhh, do you know where the fox is?’ The fox is gonna fox. But literally every time it was time to take a step down those stairs, he was always there.”
Reigns highlighted Moxley’s spontaneous nature: “This guy, we’d be walking through the airport, and he’d just disappear… And then out of nowhere he pops up, he’d have a bagel and a coffee and half a mouthful of a croissant or something like that. It’s been a while and he’s got a family now so I’m hoping that he’s a little more predictable for his wife and child’s sake, but yeah he was an unpredictable dude for sure.”
Roman Reigns is set to compete in the Men’s Royal Rumble Match on February 1. Meanwhile, Jon Moxley remains the AEW World Champion and leads The Death Riders stable.

Roman Reigns Reflects on Jon Moxley’s Unpredictability in the Ring
In a recent interview with Wrestling News, Roman Reigns opened up about his former Shield brother, Jon Moxley, and his unpredictable nature in the wrestling ring. Reigns, who is currently the Universal Champion in WWE, reflected on Moxley’s time in both WWE and AEW, praising his talent and creativity.
“Jon Moxley is one of the most unpredictable wrestlers I’ve ever been in the ring with,” Reigns said. “He always keeps you on your toes and you never know what he’s going to do next. That’s what makes him such a special talent.”
Reigns also discussed Moxley’s success in AEW, where he is a former AEW World Champion. “I’m proud of everything Jon has accomplished in AEW,” Reigns said. “He’s really found his groove there and is doing some amazing work.”
Despite their paths diverging after their time together in The Shield, Reigns and Moxley remain close friends and have a deep respect for each other’s abilities in the ring. “I always enjoy watching Jon wrestle,” Reigns said. “He’s a true artist in the ring and I have a lot of respect for him.”
As for a potential reunion with Moxley in the future, Reigns didn’t rule it out. “You never know what the future holds in this business,” Reigns said. “But if the opportunity arises to team up with Jon again, I would be all for it. We had some great times together in The Shield and I think we could create some magic again.”
Fans of both Reigns and Moxley will no doubt be excited to see what the future holds for these two talented wrestlers. Stay tuned to Wrestling News for all the latest updates on their careers and more.

Ahead of what will likely be an unpredictable night, it appears two former world champions are in Indianapolis, Indiana, the host city for this year’s Rumble. According to reports by “Fightful Select,” two-time WWE Champion “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles, and two-time NXT Champion Trick Williams are in town. As of this report, there is no confirmation if either man will participate in the men’s Royal Rumble, or if they are simply in Indianapolis to fulfill other obligations this weekend.
Possible Spoiler Alert: Two Big WWE Names Spotted in Town for Royal Rumble
Rumors are swirling as two major WWE superstars have been spotted in town for the upcoming Royal Rumble event. Could this mean a surprise return or debut at the highly anticipated pay-per-view?
Fans are speculating that the presence of these two big names could shake up the Royal Rumble match and potentially change the course of the WWE landscape. While nothing has been confirmed yet, the excitement and anticipation are building as we wait to see what unfolds.
Stay tuned for more updates and be sure to tune in to the Royal Rumble to see if these two superstars make their presence known in a big way. This could be a game-changing moment for WWE fans everywhere!
In just a few hours, the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble Match is set to take place, and the WWE Universe is buzzing with excitement. Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and more are already confirmed as entrants, and there are strong hints suggesting that The Rock could make a shocking return.
However, after this week’s SmackDown, it seems likely that OG Bloodline member, Jimmy Uso, could be eliminated by Shinsuke Nakamura to set up a feud for WrestleMania 41. This speculation arose after the latest episode of the blue brand, where the King of Strong Style was spotted in the background as Big Jim made his entrance.
This subtle hint suggests that WWE might be planning a feud between these two stars. With Nakamura currently holding the United States Championship, it’s possible that the mid-card title could be on the line in this potential rivalry.
If both Shinsuke and Jimmy enter the over-the-top-rope contest, the Japanese star could be the one to eliminate the Samoan Twin, planting the initial seeds for their upcoming title feud. The former Tag Team Champion could then seek revenge for his elimination, fueling their rivalry.
Additionally, WWE could incorporate a storyline that highlights the contrast between Jey and Jimmy’s singles runs. It could be done by showcasing how the YEET Master is receiving world title opportunities while his brother is struggling to break through.
This angle has already been referenced, with Carmelo Hayes mocking Jimmy and taking personal shots at his lack of opportunities. Nakamura could follow a similar path, intensifying their rivalry and positioning Jimmy as a serious contender for the U.S. Title.
A feud for the mid-card championship would be a great way for WWE to establish Jimmy’s singles run outside the Bloodline saga. Ultimately, it will be interesting to see what unfolds at Royal Rumble 2025 when the 30-man over-the-top-rope battle takes place.
Shinsuke Nakamura might not target only Jimmy Uso ahead of WWE Royal Rumble 2025
Not only is the OG Bloodline member a potential target, but it seems like the King of Strong Style has more opponents on his radar. During this week’s SmackDown, Shinsuke Nakamura was spotted in a backstage conversation while Damian Priest, LA Knight, and R-Truth were talking.
This could be a major indication that WWE might be heading toward a singles title rivalry between Jimmy Uso and Shinsuke. Otherwise, it could be the buildup of a multi-man title storyline leading into this year’s Showcase of The Immortals.

Jey Uso missed the opportunity to become World Heavyweight Champion for the first time in his WWE career when he lost to Gunther at Saturday Night’s Main Event last week. Now, he wants to win the Royal Rumble this weekend and get a guaranteed title shot at WrestleMania 41.
The Yeet Master will have to overcome some of the top stars in the business like Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, CM Punk, the legendary John Cena, and Roman Reigns.
The OTC will look to win the Rumble and reclaim his title at ‘Mania and is a frontrunner to win the match. During the Rumble match, it’s always every man for himself and hence, Roman could try to eliminate Jey Uso. The latter could take it personally and their feud could re-ignite, leading to Jey turning on Roman and eliminating him.
However, it is safe to say here that even though this would create a new angle on The Road to WrestleMania, WWE Creative will most likely not go down that road, given that Jey Uso has done a great job as a face and has become a fan favorite. It would be safer to say that if anyone had a heel turn, that would be Roman Reigns.

Jey Uso says his ultimate goal is to become a world champion in WWE
The Yeet Master has done a great job as a face over the past year and even went on to claim his first singles title when he became the Intercontinental Champion.
Still, the stakes are higher than ever for the RAW Superstar, who has his sights set on becoming world champion for the first time in his career, as he noted during an interview with Cheap Heat.
“Yeah, man, it just puts a stamp on you. If you’re a wrestler, you want to hold a damn WWE Championship one time, a World Heavyweight Championship one time. I want to hold that s**t. I ain’t ever thought about being a champion like that until I got the IC Title man, until ‘24 popped off the way it did, it built my confidence. It made me believe, ‘Hell yeah, I could be the face, Uce,’” he said. [H/T – ITR Wrestling]
Jey Uso is starting to become successful in singles action after a great career in the tag team division with his brother Jimmy Uso.

Jey Uso, one half of the legendary tag team The Usos, has been a fan favorite for years. But could we be on the brink of a shocking betrayal at Royal Rumble 2025?
Speculation is running wild that Jey Uso is set to turn heel and double-cross his former WWE Universal Champion partner at the upcoming pay-per-view event. The tension between the two has been building for weeks, with subtle hints of jealousy and resentment bubbling to the surface.
If this betrayal does indeed come to fruition, it would undoubtedly shake the WWE Universe to its core. The former champion has put his trust in Jey Uso time and time again, only to be potentially stabbed in the back when it matters most.
Could this be the beginning of a new era for Jey Uso, as he sets out on his own path of destruction and dominance? Or will his former partner exact revenge and make him pay for his treachery?
All eyes will be on Royal Rumble 2025 to see how this dramatic storyline unfolds. Stay tuned for all the action and drama as it happens.

One Royal Rumble match feels as unpredictable as ever and the other appears to have one truly logical choice for who punches their ticket to a world championship chance in a main event at WrestleMania.
Careers with be made at Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday (6 p.m. Peacock) as the road to WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas begins.
Royal Rumble winners can be one of the potentially most polarizing — or sometimes universally loved decisions WWE can make.
The Post’s pro wrestling columnist Joseph Staszewski tries his best to predict how it will all play out when the bell rings.

DIY (Johny Gargano and Tomas Ciampa) over Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelly and Chris Sabin) to retain the WWE tag team championships (Two-Out-Of-Three Falls)
Motor City Machine Guns have been a breath of fresh air to the WWE tag team division and just the fact that a two-out-of-three falls championship match is on a major premium live event is a big step forward over the past year-plus in the division.
DIY took the belts off MCMG in early January as Gargano deceived them with kindness before ultimately turning heel with Ciampa for the first time. Since then, DIY has been using Pretty Deadly to run interference to keep MCMG away from their championships — including them crashing the team’s last match on the Dec. 6 SmackDown.
While Pretty Deadly keeps getting warned they are being played — with DIY dangling an eventual title shot for them — they moved closer to fully accepting it on SmackDown.
This could go either way based on whatever decision Pretty Deadly makes to likely decide the match in the third fall. The story still feels like has legs and places to explore so WWE won’t take the titles for DIY yet.
Cody Rhodes over Kevin Owens to retain the Undisputed WWE championship (Ladder match)
It’s a shame Kevin Owens’ fine work won’t be rewarded with a legitimate world title run — though he’s gotten to masquerade as one with the famed Winged Eagle championship for more than a month since claiming he beat Rhodes at “Saturday Night’s Main Event.”
You don’t pull the trigger on a title change to the heel in the third match of the trilogy before Rhodes can go into WrestleMania 41 with a full year as champion. What’s important here is how Rhodes wins and so many things are possible in a ladder match — with the “American Nightmare” seemingly in a heel turn spiral.
Owens has already, in so many words, told Sami Zayn he expects him to have his back and help him win so they can face each other at WrestleMania. It is also possible Randy Orton — whom Owens piled drive to take him off TV in the storyline for months — comes back and cost his former tag team partner the match. Whatever happens, Owens will be off to his next feud — against either Zayn or Orton.
WWE only seemed to start caring about the Women’s Royal Rumble when it had Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Bianca Belair, Naomi and Nia Jax — for a second time — declare for the match in one segment on SmackDown last week in front of both world champions as they join Bayley and Iyo Sky in the match.
Charlotte Flair did get a special vignette calling herself the GOAT to announce her return for the Royal Rumble from a serious knee injury after more than a year out of action. WWE Women’s champion Tiffany Stratton hasn’t been shy about wanting a dream match with Flair that is absolutely WrestleMania worthy.
Belair, who won the Royal Rumble in 2021 and went on to beat Sasha Banks at WrestleMania, feels like one of two wild cards in this match because fans have wanted to see her versus Women’s World champion Rhea Ripley for years at WrestleMania and WWE has teased it on occasion. She also would be a fantastic opponent for Stratton as the champ can make the case she is bigger, faster and stronger than the EST. The other is former TNA Knockouts champion Jordynne Grace. She would be a fantastic fresh face for Ripley to square off with.
Outside of the idea of Jax or Morgan winning to get their title rematches, the list of viable candidates feels thin. Becky Lynch — if she returns — has already feuded with Stratton and Ripley. Bayley appears headed for a program for Roxanne Perez. Jade Cargill facing her mystery attacker feel like her WrestleMania story.
Flair is the logical choice after WWE called her The GOAT in her vignette, re-establish that and capitalize on the good feelings around her return to set up to dream match with Stratton.
John Cena wins the Men’s Royal Rumble
Betting Favorites: CM Punk: 1/1, John Cena 7/4, Roman Reigns 10/3, Seth Rollins 5/1, The Rock 9/1, Drew McIntyre 9/1 (Paddy Power).
The men’s Royal Rumble is stacked and could be John Cena’s to lose.
The 16-time world champion is on the star-studded list of wrestlers who have declared for the match, including Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins, Jey Uso and Sami Zayn. All of them would be fine WrestleMania main eventers — with Cena as the betting favorite as he begins his retirement tour.
As significant as it would be to beat Gunther for the World Heavyweight championship, the Royal Rumble should be about going on to challenge for the more prestigious title in Cody Rhodes’ Undisputed WWE championship. If you look at the list, really only Cena, Punk and Reigns make sense to do that — unless The Rock or Randy Orton make an unexpected appearance.
Rhodes considers Cena a mentor and the two are close, So the protegee standing between the mentor Cena and breaking Ric Flair’s record with a 17th world reign would be very intriguing. Rhodes’ character appears to be in the early stages of a heel turn and maybe an interaction with Cena accelerates that.
Punk and Rhodes beautifully laid out the tension among the two friends that could carry their story to close Raw this week. Reigns winning would give us the same WrestleMania main event for three straight years — though maybe Punk forces it to become a triple-threat match via the favor he is owned by Paul Heyman.
Also keep an eye on the side plots going on between McIntyre, Rollins, Punk, Uso and Zayn — all have been connected one way or the other over the past year as an interesting Bloodline subplot has been brewing.
If there are surprises, I expect them from the TNA side after the announced partnership between the two brands earlier this month. Nic Nemeth, Joe Hendry and Moose all feel like potential names to look out for as is a potential A.J. Styles return.
A match between the WWE’s two biggest babyfaces in the past 20 years feels too good to pass up and lets the other pieces — Punk vs. Roman Reigns and Gunther vs. Logal Paul — easily fall into place at WrestleMania.
With the WWE Royal Rumble just around the corner, fans are buzzing with excitement and anticipation for one of the biggest events of the year. As the road to WrestleMania begins, here are some predictions, odds, and the full match card for the WWE Royal Rumble 2025:
Predictions:
– The Royal Rumble match winner: Roman Reigns is the favorite to win the men’s Royal Rumble match, while Bianca Belair is predicted to win the women’s Royal Rumble match.

Ripley vs. Belair Reportedly Discussed for WrestleMania
Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair haven’t competed in a singles bout since 2022—in a gauntlet match no less—but they may not be avoiding one another for much longer.
Fightful Select (via Steve Carrier of Ringside News) reported that WWE officials have discussed staging Ripley vs. Belair at WrestleMania 41 in April.
Ripley reclaimed the Women’s World Championship on Raw’s Netflix premiere by beating Liv Morgan. She then successfully defended the gold against Nia Jax to open the most recent Saturday Night’s Main Event special.
Even assuming Ripley still has any unfinished business with Morgan, WWE is setting the table for her to pivot to a fresh storyline in time for WrestleMania.
Belair would present one such scenario for the champion and also be somebody with whom she has some shared history. They crossed paths in NXT and battled at NXT TakeOver: Portland in 2020.
Ripley told Sportskeeda’s Bill Apter last August she’d like to challenge Belair again and that their encounter would be “WrestleMania-worthy.”
The champ just might get her wish.
Latest on Graves’ WWE Contract
Veteran announcer Corey Graves “wasn’t looking to leave the company” when he publicly vented about his demotion from the Raw broadcast team in a since-deleted post on social media, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter‘s Dave Meltzer (via Carrier).
Meltzer reported Graves still has two years remaining on his current deal with WWE.
With Raw moving to Netflix, WWE decided to pair Pat McAfee with Michael Cole at the broadcast table, while Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett pivoted from the company’s flagship program to SmackDown.
As a result of the reshuffle, Graves wound up back in NXT and he didn’t sound too thrilled. Seemingly alluding to McAfee in a Jan. 13 post, he lamented “being told you’re not famous enough for your own job.”
Graves didn’t call the Jan. 14 edition of NXT and WWE chose to have Barrett rather than him replace McAfee for Raw on Jan. 20. McAfee was unavailable due to his ESPN duties for college football’s national championship game.
Graves returned to NXT this week. Colleague Vic Joseph advised fans not to adjust their television sets because “this isn’t AI” while pointing to the retired wrestler. Graves, for his part, said he’s “right where I want to be.”
Hendry Discusses Possible Royal Rumble Match Appearance
WWE always includes some surprise appearances during the Royal Rumble match.
Those spots used to be reserved for returning legends or active stars who have been out of action for a while. The company’s partnership with TNA Wrestling, which was formalized this month, opened the door for other possibilities. Mickie James showed up in 2022 and brought the Impact women’s title with her.
Especially with the TNA deal in place, a lot of fans are hopeful that Joe Hendry will compete in this year’s men’s Royal Rumble match.
Asked about the idea during an interview on the DeLoco Podcast (via Fightful’s Corey Brennan), Hendry expressed his desire to make it a reality.
“Anywhere, anytime, any show is what I said to Shawn Michaels when I debuted in NXT, that’s the first thing I said when I came back through the curtain and look at all the exciting things that it led to,” he said. “That obviously would be a huge honor and a privilege and something that’s synonymous with our business.”
Hendry also described himself as “a soldier for TNA Wrestling” who “will do is do what TNA Wrestling asks me to do.”
Speculation over the 36-year-old’s only grew last week when he announced an upcoming appearance at Wrestlecon Indianapolis, which runs Friday and Saturday. Royal Rumble takes place Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Perhaps that’s merely a coincidence, but fans will believe there’s much more to it than that.
