  • Rumor: The Spurs are working on a four-team trade that would bring De’Aaron Fox to San Antonio

The trade deadline is just a week away (minus a couple of hours), and rumors are starting to swirl that the Spurs are in talks about a potential four-team trade that would ultimately bring Sacramento Kings guard De’Aaron Fox to San Antonio. One such source is Don Harris: the longtime sports anchor for News 4 San Antonio and someone who would certainly have a good ear within the organization.

Harris also went on to remind everyone that most trade talks and rumors don’t happen, can fall apart anytime or end up being inaccurate, so don’t think this is a done deal, but it does seem like the negotiations are at least real.

What this deal may cost the Spurs and which other teams are involved remains to be seen, but an ESPN radio host out of Sacramento, Damien Barling, has added that it would not include Stephon Castle, which makes sense considering he is someone the Spurs seriously coveted out of last year’s draft and have high hopes for going forward. (It also goes without saying the Victor Wembanyama would not be included in any trade.)

This leaves players like Devin Vassell, Keldon Johnson, Zach Collins and possibly even Chris Paul or Harrison Barnes to consider for salary-matching purposes (although the Spurs have the cap space to absorb some extra salary), and such a deal would also surely include some of the Spurs’ huge treasure trove of first round draft picks. Other factors to consider would be if Fox would be willing to sign an extension or re-sign with them in 2026 (word is he would) before considering what to give up for him.

All trade rumors should be taken with a grain of salt, and while this one is no different and complex enough that just one party backing out could bring it to an end, there’s certainly enough smoke out there to acknowledge it.

Rumor Alert: The Spurs are reportedly in talks for a blockbuster four-team trade that would land De’Aaron Fox in San Antonio!

According to sources, the Spurs are looking to shake things up and add a young, dynamic point guard like Fox to their roster. The trade is said to involve multiple teams, with the Kings, Pelicans, and Pacers also potentially involved in the deal.

Fox, who is known for his lightning-quick speed and playmaking ability, would be a huge addition to the Spurs backcourt. His scoring and passing skills could provide a much-needed boost to the team’s offense.

While nothing is set in stone yet, this rumor has fans buzzing with excitement about the potential of seeing Fox in a Spurs uniform. Stay tuned for updates as the trade talks progress! #GoSpursGo #DeAaronFoxTradeRumors

  • Trade Rumor Roundup: Bogi, Capela out, Brandon Ingram, Nurkic in?

We may be in store for a busy trade deadline.

The Hawks currently sit at 22-26 — still in the mix for the Eastern Conference Play-In Tournament — but will have to forge on without Jalen Johnson for the remainder of the season. As a reminder, their own first-round pick is out the door, but they do have the Lakers’ unprotected first-round pick and possibly Sacramento’s as well this season.

Clint Capela and Bogdan Bogdanovic have been important members to the team since the 2020-21 season, but recently the pair has been held out of competition for health and ‘away from team’ reasons per the organization. All that has led to speculation that one or both may be moved prior to Thursday’s trade deadline.

Marc Stein posted on his Substack blog on Thursday, 1/30/25, 9:30 AM about Bogdan Bogdanovic’s possible availability:

It has been known for some time that Atlanta is willing to trade veteran center Clint Capela, but league sources say that the Hawks have begun actively exploring the trade market for their own perimeter specialist: Bogdan Bogdanović.

Bogdanović has not shot the ball anywhere close to his usual standards this season at 37.1% from the field and 30.1% from deep. Yet he still has fans around the league and has to be monitored closely given the credible whispers this week that he could be on the move.

Any interested team has to be comfortable with the contractual realities on Bogdanović: The 32-year-old has one guaranteed year left on his contract and $16 million in 2025-26 before a $16 million team option (rather than player option) in 2026-27.

That same day, Duane Rankin of the Arizona Republic reported that the Suns and the Hawks discussed trade scenarios involving out-of-favor center Jusuf Nurkic, including a nod to the reporting of Michael Scotto of HoopsHype:

Sources have informed The Arizona Republic the Suns have been talking to teams throughout the league about trading 7-footer Jusuf Nurkic, with the Atlanta Hawks being one of those teams.

    […]

Michael Scotto of HoopsHype reported this week the Suns are looking to pair up one of the first-round picks they obtained from Utah with Nurkic to acquire a “high-level” rotation player.

Just looking at the Hawks and based on contracts alone, the Suns could trade Nurkic and a first-round pick for guard Bogdan Bogdanovic, who is due $17.2 million this season.

Finally, on Friday there came reporting from Brian Windhorst of ESPN involving Brandon Ingram on Get Up:

Brandon Ingram is a guy who’s been on the trade block for months. […] I’m seeing a little bit of a warmup in some talks between [Ingram and Zach LaVine]. Specifically, keep an eye on the Atlanta Hawks.

They just lost their star wing Jalen Johnson for the season. They may start to get interested in making a move, especially for Brandon Ingram. Keep an eye on that.

Brad Rowland of the Locked on Hawks podcast echoes those rumors that he’s heard buzz surrounding this situation.

Clearly, the Hawks are making phone calls and exploring different scenarios for trades that may or may not happen by Thursday afternoon.

Ingram, in particular, is a surprising to Atlanta given his reported desire to land a large contract in the offseason. He’s only appeared in 18 games to this point, but he’s a proven 20+ point-per-game scorer and can aide in turning around the Hawks’ shooting struggles…at least for the final two months of the season and health permitting.

What do you make of these rumors?

In the latest NBA trade rumor roundup, it seems like the Atlanta Hawks are looking to shake things up by potentially trading away Bogdan Bogdanovic and Clint Capela. Reports suggest that the New Orleans Pelicans are interested in acquiring Bogi, while the Portland Trail Blazers are eyeing Capela.

On the flip side, the Hawks are rumored to be targeting Brandon Ingram from the Pelicans and Jusuf Nurkic from the Blazers in potential trades. Ingram, a former All-Star, could provide a scoring punch for Atlanta, while Nurkic’s defensive presence and rebounding could bolster their frontcourt.

It’s still uncertain whether these rumored trades will come to fruition, but it’s clear that the Hawks are exploring all options to improve their roster. Stay tuned for more updates as the NBA trade deadline approaches.

  • MultiVersus Season 5 May Be The End Of The Game, Rumor Suggests

    ·

    ·

MultiVersus could be coming to an end. A new rumor from known MultiVersus leaker AusilMV suggests that the game’s upcoming Season 5 could be the last one.

“[MultiVersus] Season 5 may be the final season of MultiVersus, depending on how it performs,” they said while prefacing that this isn’t confirmed yet.. “A notable source shared this rumor with me, stating that Season 5 may be a “last-ditch effort” for the game.”

Insider Gaming has reached out Warner Bros. Games and developer Player First Games for comment on the rumor. Should a response be received, it will be amended to this story.

The idea that MultiVersus could be heading towards a tipping point shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to players and outsiders alike. Since the game launched with high player numbers nearly three years ago, its popularity has dwindled. The game saw a peak player count on Steam of 153,433 players before it fell by 99% within its first few months.

After it struggled to regain traction, Warner Bros. Games announced it was taking the game down in June 2023 after what it then started to call an “open beta” period. It was re-released in May 2024 with numerous updates and changes in the months since. However, it has yet to return to the numbers it had when it first launched and the hype from players was there.

MultiVersus Season 5 is scheduled to start in early February. It’ll be interesting to see what the developers have planned to try and get players to not only pick up their game, but stick around after.

What do you make of the rumors that Season 5 could be MultiVersus’ last? Let us know down below, and join more discussions in the official Insider Gaming forums.

As the popular fighting game MultiVersus continues to gain traction in the gaming community, rumors have begun circulating that Season 5 may mark the end of the game’s lifespan.

While developer Warner Bros. Games has not officially confirmed these rumors, speculation has been fueled by the lack of new content announcements and a decline in player activity.

Fans of the game have expressed concern over the potential end of MultiVersus, with many taking to social media to share their thoughts and memories of the game.

Whether Season 5 truly signals the end of MultiVersus remains to be seen, but players are advised to enjoy the game while they can and cherish the memories they have created within its virtual battlegrounds. Stay tuned for updates as the situation continues to develop.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard has hit back at claims about her family and whether investigators checked in on them.

The 33-year-old took to Instagram on Friday (January 24) to address a slew of false rumors. First, she hit back at a claim that Child Protective Services had to check in on her daughter, who she welcomed in January with her boyfriend Ken Urker.

“NO, CPS is not involved! (our baby is very safe and healthy),” she wrote, alongside a rolling eyes emoji, in her Instagram Story.

Blanchard then denied claims that she was “on any weight loss medication” and said that her stepmother Kristy “does not take care of [Blanchard’s] child” for her. She also said that the “baby in the pictures with Ken and [her] after [she gave] birth is NOT a doll or fake baby.”

The Life After Lock Up star concluded by sending a message to her followers who’ve fell for the tales.

“If anyone actually believes this BS, then your brain has been rotted by misinformation and clickbait with bias and hate-driven content,” she added. “God gave you a [brain], use it.”

Gypsy Rose Blanchard responds to rumor that Child Protective Services checked on her baby and denied the allegation (Getty Images)

Blanchard and Urker announced the arrival of their daughter, Aurora Raina Urker, earlier this month.

Urker took to his Instagram on January 1 to post a photo of Blanchard cradling their newborn in a hospital bed. In the image, the couple is seen gazing lovingly at their baby girl, dressed in a pink hat.

“Welcoming 2025 with the greatest gift of all,” he wrote in the caption.

Blanchard was released from prison in December 2023, after she pleaded guilty in 2016 to the second-degree murder of her mother, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard, and served eight years of her sentence at the Chillicothe Correctional Center in Missouri.

An investigation later found that Blanchard was abused by her mother, who forced her to pretend she was suffering from leukemia, muscular dystrophy, and other serious illnesses.

After announcing her pregnancy in July 2024, Blanchard also shared a since-deleted YouTube video to address concerns that she’s unprepared to be a mother.

“I know that there are going to be people that feel like I’m not ready to be a mother, and I don’t know if anyone’s really ready to become a mother,” Blanchard said. “I don’t know anyone that said, ‘Okay, I’m ready. I’m doing this.’”

She noted that she felt “a shift” after discovering she was pregnant, and explained how “none of anything else mattered” besides the health of her then soon-to-be baby. However, Blanchard became emotional as she shared her hopes to give “all of the things” to her child that “I wished I could’ve had when I was little.”

“All the things that I wanted in a mother, I want to give to this baby,” she said. “I just want to be a good mother for my child. I want to be everything my mother wasn’t.”

Blanchard and Urker first met in 2018 while she was serving her prison sentence in Missouri. Although the pair were engaged in 2019, Urker called it off in 2020.

The rekindled couple were spotted in April getting matching dog tattoos and engaging in PDA. Speaking about their relationship status, Blanchard told TMZ at the time: “After reconnecting earlier this month, we realized that our love for each other is simply undeniable, and life is too short to not take a chance.”

Blanchard’s new relationship came just weeks after announcing her separation from ex-husband Ryan Anderson. She later filed a temporary restraining order against Anderson, who responded with his own restraining order against Blanchard.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard, the subject of the popular true crime documentary “Mommy Dead and Dearest,” is no stranger to controversy. Recently, rumors have been circulating that Child Protective Services (CPS) checked on her newborn baby. However, Gypsy Rose is clapping back at these rumors and setting the record straight.

In a statement released on her social media accounts, Gypsy Rose assured her followers that CPS has not visited her home or checked on her baby. She emphasized that she is a loving and devoted mother who would never put her child in harm’s way.

Gypsy Rose also expressed her frustration with the constant rumors and speculation surrounding her life, urging people to focus on the positive aspects of her story and not get caught up in gossip.

As someone who has been through so much in her young life, Gypsy Rose deserves the chance to move forward and build a happy and healthy life for herself and her child. Let’s support her in that journey and leave the rumors behind.

  • New Nvidia RTX 5080 benchmark rumor has got me worried that the GPU won’t be a major upgrade to the RTX 4080

    • Purported Nvidia RTX 5080 Geekbench results have been shared
    • They suggest roughly a 20% gen-on-gen uplift compared to the RTX 4080
    • However, the RTX 5080 appears to come up short compared to the older RTX 4090

With the RTX 5090 now reviewed and fully evaluated – as an undoubtedly powerful GPU, albeit to the point of overkill in many ways – the attention of the benchmark-spilling world has turned to the RTX 5080.

Reviews of this second Blackwell GeForce GPU are imminent, and thanks to Benchleaks (via Tom’s Hardware), we’ve caught a purported Geekbench result (be skeptical with it, as with any such spillage).

As an avid gamer and tech enthusiast, I have been eagerly anticipating the release of the new Nvidia RTX 5080 graphics card. However, a recent benchmark rumor has left me feeling a bit concerned that the upgrade from the RTX 4080 may not be as significant as I had hoped.

According to the rumor, the performance gains of the RTX 5080 over its predecessor may not be as substantial as we had all been expecting. This has led to some speculation that the new GPU may not be a major leap forward in terms of raw power and capabilities.

As someone who is always looking to push the boundaries of gaming and experience the latest and greatest in graphics technology, this news has definitely given me pause. I was hoping for a significant upgrade that would truly take my gaming experience to the next level, but now I am left wondering if the RTX 5080 will truly deliver on that promise.

Of course, it’s important to take rumors with a grain of salt and wait for official benchmarks and reviews before passing judgment. But for now, I can’t help but feel a twinge of disappointment at the possibility that the RTX 5080 may not be the game-changer I had hoped for.

Only time will tell if the RTX 5080 lives up to the hype and delivers the performance improvements that gamers like myself are eagerly anticipating. Until then, I will be keeping a close eye on any new information and eagerly awaiting the official release of the new GPU.

  • Dallas Cowboys coaching rumor: Robert Saleh in play as defensive coordinator

The Dallas Cowboys interviewed former New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh in their search for a Mike McCarthy replacement. He never gained any more traction than that in Dallas as far as the head coach position went, and it was assumed by almost everyone he was headed back to the San Francisco 49ers to be their defensive coordinator once again.

That never became official, and now word is the Cowboys are interested in bringing him to Dallas to be the defensive coordinator.

We all know Patrik Walker is very plugged-in to the happenings at the Star so this isn’t just another crazy rumor, the must be some fire behind the smoke. But, it feels difficult to believe that Saleh would turn down a return to the 49ers to take on the somewhat messy situation currently evolving in the Cowboys coaching search.

We’re not privy to what is going on behind the closed doors, so maybe Jerry Jones and company are doing the right things to tempt him. Securing the services of a defensive coordinator as qualified as Saleh would be a nice get for a team that needs a rebound.

We’ll file this one in the “we’ll believe it when we see it” category.

There have been whispers circulating within the NFL coaching community that the Dallas Cowboys are eyeing San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh as a potential candidate to fill their vacant defensive coordinator position.

Saleh, who has been lauded for his defensive acumen and ability to develop young talent, has been a key architect of the 49ers’ dominant defense over the past few seasons. Under his leadership, the 49ers defense has consistently ranked among the top units in the league and played a crucial role in the team’s journey to Super Bowl LIV.

With the Cowboys looking to revamp their defense after a disappointing 2020 season, Saleh could prove to be the perfect fit to bring a new energy and strategic approach to the team. His aggressive and innovative defensive schemes could help revitalize a Cowboys defense that struggled to find consistency last season.

While nothing has been officially confirmed yet, the possibility of Saleh joining the Cowboys coaching staff has generated a buzz among fans and analysts alike. It remains to be seen whether Saleh will ultimately make the move to Dallas, but the potential addition of a coach of his caliber could be a game-changer for the Cowboys defense in the upcoming season. Stay tuned for further updates on this developing coaching rumor.

Contract talks between the Colorado Avalanche and right winger Mikko Rantanen have stalled, prompting Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman to suggest they set a deadline to spur action on the matter.

The 28-year-old Rantanen is eligible for UFA status on July 1. He’s in the final season of a six-year contract with an average annual value of $9.5 million.

It’s believed the Rantanen camp seeks something comparable to the $14 million average annual value that the Edmonton Oilers will pay Leon Draisaitl starting on July 1. The Avalanche prefer he accepts something closer to teammate Nathan MacKinnon’s $12.6 million.

Friedman wondered if the Avalanche would consider the March 7 NHL trade deadline as the cut-off date or if they’ll take their chances if he’s unsigned beyond then. However, Daily Faceoff’s Frank Seravalli recently reported the Avalanche aren’t shopping Rantanen as the two sides intend to revisit contract talks following next month’s 4 Nations Face-Off. The Hockey News’ Adam Proteau, meanwhile, believes they would have traded Rantanen by now if they were really at odds with each other.

Turning to the Columbus Blue Jackets, TSN’s Pierre LeBrun reported last month that Ivan Provorov could be open to signing a contract extension. The 28-year-old defenseman is in the final season of a six-year deal with an average annual value of $6.75 million.

In his recent column for The Athletic, LeBrun wrote there’s mutual interest between Provorov and Blue Jackets management in an extension. He could seek the maximum eight-year deal, but the Jackets might prefer something shorter, given the promising talent within their prospect pipeline.

LeBrun believes the Blue Jackets could peddle Provorov if he’s unsigned by the trade deadline. However, they’re jockeying for a wild-card berth in the Eastern Conference. Given everything the underdog Jackets have been through since last year, they could retain Provorov to improve their chances of clinching a playoff berth.

Speaking of defensemen, Rasmus Ristolainen of the Philadelphia Flyers remains a player of interest in the trade market.

The 30-year-old Ristolainen has two years remaining on his contract with a $5.1-million cap hit and lacks no-trade protection. He’d draw interest from clubs seeking defensemen with term remaining on their deals.

The Hockey News’ Siobhan Nolan reports Flyers GM Daniel Briere said he’s not shopping Ristolainen. Teams have called, but Briere cited the blueliner’s improvement and his value to the club’s defense corps.

That doesn’t mean Briere wouldn’t trade Ristolainen, but it would take a significant offer to tempt him, like a first-line center.
