Report: Marko Milić Leaves Mavericks’ Coaching Staff After Luka Dončić, Lakers Trade | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats, and Rumors
Joe Murphy/NBAE via Getty Images
Luka Dončić isn’t the only one leaving the Dallas Mavericks.
NBA insider Marc Stein reported on Sunday that Marko Milić is no longer on the Mavericks’ coaching staff and “did not wish” to remain with Dončić no longer on the team. Milić was a notable name as the first Slovenian to play in the NBA, but his time with Dallas is over.
The connection with Dončić was obvious, as the five-time All-Star is also from Slovenia.
Milić spent seven years on the coaching staff of the Basketball Federation of Slovenia before the Mavericks hired him before the 2022-23 campaign. He also played professionally for 21 seasons from 1994 to 2015 with stops in seven different countries (Slovenia, Turkey, Spain, Italy, France, Iran and Kuwait).
He came to the NBA as a second-round pick in the 1997 NBA draft and appeared in 44 games across two different seasons for the Phoenix suns.
Milić was never more than a secondary scorer and averaged 2.5 points and 0.7 rebounds per game while shooting 56 percent from the field.
As for the Mavericks, this is more fallout from a shocking trade.
Dončić appeared well on his way to becoming a franchise legend with a Rookie of the Year, five First-Team All-Pro selections, a scoring title, five All-Star Game nods, an NBA Finals appearance and a Western Conference Finals MVP on his resume through just seven seasons.
Yet they moved him to the Los Angeles Lakers in a trade that landed them 31-year-old Anthony Davis.
While Davis is an excellent player himself, it was still stunning to see Dallas move on from the 25-year-old face of its franchise.
Marko Milić, an assistant coach for the Dallas Mavericks, has reportedly left the team following the blockbuster trade that sent Luka Dončić to the Los Angeles Lakers.Milić, who joined the Mavericks’ coaching staff in 2018, was known for his strong relationship with Dončić and played a key role in his development as a young star in the NBA. However, with Dončić now heading to the Lakers in exchange for a package of players and draft picks, Milić has decided to part ways with the Mavericks.
The news of Milić’s departure comes as a surprise to many in the basketball world, as he was highly regarded for his coaching acumen and ability to connect with players. It remains to be seen where Milić will land next, but his departure is sure to have an impact on the Mavericks’ coaching staff going forward.
In the meantime, the Mavericks will have to regroup and adjust to life without both Dončić and Milić as they look to move forward and compete in the highly competitive Western Conference.
Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.

The NBA Slam Dunk Contest participants are set.
This year’s event will feature Orlando Magic G Leaguer Mac McClung, San Antonio Spurs guard Stephon Castle, Chicago Bulls forward Matas Buzelis and Milwaukee Bucks guard Andre Jackson Jr.
The Dunk Contest will take place on Feb. 15 at 8 p.m. ET in San Francisco.

McClung might not be a familiar name to many NBA fans as he’s played just five NBA games since 2021 and has appeared in just one game this season. But those who tuned into the last two dunk contests are well aware of who McClung is.
McClung, who first gained recognition for his ridiculous dunks in high school, has won the last two dunk contests.
McClung is the veteran in this year’s dunk contest, as the other three players will be participating for the first time.
Castle, the No. 4 pick in the 2024 draft out of UConn, is putting together a phenomenal rookie year, averaging 12.2 points per game and making a strong case for Rookie of the Year. His first year in the league has, of course, included a handful of big dunks.
Buzelis was the No. 11 pick in the 2024 draft after cutting his teeth with G League Ignite rather than the traditional college route. His rookie year hasn’t been very notable thus far as he’s putting up just 5.4 points per game, but he’s looking to turn heads in the Dunk Contest.
Jackson, a second-round pick in the 2023 draft, is averaging 4 points and 3.3 boards per game this season, playing 17.5 minutes per contest. He should bring some exciting dunks to this year’s event as he clearly doesn’t lack any bounce.
This year’s Dunk Contest isn’t exactly a star-studded affair, but it should, like always, have plenty of excitement.
Exciting news for basketball fans as the participants for the 2025 NBA Slam Dunk Contest have been revealed, and it includes some big names like Mac McClung and Castle. The lineup promises to be an electrifying showcase of athleticism and creativity as these high-flying players compete for the title of the best dunker in the league.Mac McClung, known for his explosive dunks and highlight-reel plays, is sure to bring some jaw-dropping moments to the contest. With his incredible leaping ability and flair for the dramatic, he is definitely a frontrunner to take home the trophy.
Castle, a rising star in the NBA known for his acrobatic dunks and impressive hang time, will also be a strong contender in the competition. Fans can expect to see some gravity-defying slams and innovative moves from this young phenom.
The rest of the participants have yet to be announced, but with the likes of McClung and Castle already confirmed, this year’s Slam Dunk Contest is shaping up to be one for the ages. Stay tuned for more updates on the event, including news, scores, highlights, stats, and rumors as we get closer to the big day. Get ready to witness some of the most incredible dunks you’ve ever seen as these players take flight and compete for dunking supremacy.

Chris Graythen/Getty Images
As the Kansas City Chiefs gear up for their third straight Super Bowl appearance on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, they’re still facing detractors who believe they reached this point because they get favorable calls from officials.
“It reminds me of the script, that I write a script for the entire season… It’s a ridiculous theory, for anyone who might take it seriously,” Goodell said.
Goodell added that the league is constantly exploring ways to improve its officiating and may add ways to review plays, such as facemask penalties, going forward.
“I’m proud of what they do, but that doesn’t mean we’re not trying to get better,” Goodell told reporters.
When asked if there would be a penalty for players like Kansas City star quarterback Patrick Mahomes flopping to draw penalties, Goodell said he doesn’t view that as a significant issue, but he wouldn’t be surprised if the competition committee discussed it in the future.
The Chiefs’ 15-2 finish to the 2024 season wasn’t without its hardships. Many wins came down to the last minute, as Kansas City was fortunate to have some calls go their way. Of course, that didn’t help the perception that the back-to-back reigning Super Bowl champions were being gifted the opportunity to achieve the first three-peat in modern NFL history.
For example, in the AFC Championship Game against the Buffalo Bills, star quarterback Josh Allen was ruled short on a crucial fourth-down play despite appearing to have picked up the first down. The play swung the momentum in the Chiefs’ favor, helping them secure a 32-29 win. Unsurprisingly, the controversial play was one of the biggest talking points after the game.
Fans will certainly be paying close attention to Sunday’s Big Game, as the Eagles will be the last to try their hands at knocking the Chiefs from their perch. Any questionable plays that work in Kansas City’s favor will certainly be under a microscope following the Super Bowl.
In a recent press conference, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell addressed the growing speculation that NFL referees are favoring the Kansas City Chiefs in their games. Goodell called the theory “ridiculous” and stated that the league takes the integrity of the game very seriously.Goodell went on to explain that all NFL referees are held to the highest standards and are trained to make unbiased and fair calls during games. He emphasized that any accusations of favoritism towards a particular team are not only unfounded but also damaging to the reputation of the league.
The controversy surrounding the alleged favoritism towards the Chiefs has been fueled by several close calls and controversial decisions in their recent games. However, Goodell stressed that these incidents are simply part of the game and should not be taken as evidence of any wrongdoing on the part of the officials.
As the Chiefs continue their quest for another Super Bowl title, it is clear that the spotlight will remain on both the team and the referees. But according to Goodell, fans can rest assured that the NFL is committed to ensuring that every game is officiated fairly and without bias.

NBA Rumors: Jazz’s Ainge Didn’t Know Luka Dončić, Anthony Davis Were in 3-Team Trade | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats, and Rumors
Chris Gardner/Getty Images
Utah Jazz president and former Boston Celtics legend Danny Ainge reportedly didn’t know he was helping his once-hated rival Los Angeles Lakers acquire one of the biggest stars in the NBA in Sunday’s three-team trade with the Dallas Mavericks for Luka Dončić.
According to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne and Tim MacMahon, the Jazz “didn’t know Dončić and [Anthony] Davis were a part of the deal until about an hour before it was completed, league sources said,” and Ainge “had only about 30 minutes notice, sources said, that Los Angeles was about to acquire Dončić to be the new face of its franchise.”
The Jazz acquired two second-round picks and 2023 No. 17 overall pick Jalen Hood-Schifino to help facilitate the deal between the Lakers and Mavs.
Coincidentally, Utah was in negotiations with the Los Angeles Clippers for a trade involving veteran forward PJ Tucker. Shelburne and MacMahon noted that the Lakers “had asked the Jazz to complete the trade involving Drew Eubanks and Patty Mills by the time they” finished Saturday night’s game against the New York Knicks. Los Angeles reportedly “had several backup plans if the Jazz option fell through.”
The deal between the Jazz and Clippers was completed on Saturday afternoon, allowing the Lakers to move forward with negotiations with the Mavs.
“Shortly after the Jazz completed their business with Mills, they learned of the magnitude of the trade they were about to be involved in. All that did was buy them an extra hour to digest its ramifications,” Shelburne and MacMahon stated.
The Lakers now have one of the brightest young stars in the NBA. Dončić will be the clear successor to LeBron James once the 40-year-old ends his legendary career, shifting the balance of power in the Western Conference.
The Jazz, meanwhile, rank last in the West with a record of 11-36 entering Monday night’s game against the Indiana Pacers (27-20). Utah will be in the running for the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NBA draft, and Ainge and company will certainly be hoping to land a player who can lead the franchise back to prominence.
The NBA world was left stunned today as reports emerged that Utah Jazz general manager Danny Ainge was completely unaware that star players Luka Dončić and Anthony Davis were involved in a blockbuster three-team trade.Sources close to the situation have revealed that Ainge was caught off guard when news of the trade broke, as he had not been informed of the details ahead of time. The trade reportedly involved Dončić being sent to the Los Angeles Lakers, Davis to the Dallas Mavericks, and multiple draft picks changing hands between the teams.
This shocking revelation has sent shockwaves throughout the league, with many questioning how such a high-profile trade could have been kept under wraps from one of the league’s top executives. Ainge has yet to comment on the situation, but sources say he is currently working to salvage the situation and potentially make a counteroffer to the teams involved.
As the NBA world waits for more information to come to light, fans and analysts alike are left wondering how this trade will impact the landscape of the league moving forward. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.

Nathaniel S. Butler/NBAE via Getty Images
Regardless what happens between now and Thursday’s 3 p.m. ET NBA trade deadline, the Los Angeles Lakers already look like the big winners of trade season.
That doesn’t, however, mean their work is complete.
The arrival of Luka Dončić feels like a gift from the basketball gods—and the latest nod to Lakers’ exceptionalism—both for the cannon-ball-sized splash to L.A.’s talent pool and for what it means for the franchise’s post-LeBron James future. The Lakers have long-term clarity now, and it just so happens to come in the form of a 25-year-old prodigy who’s on track to have a career for the ages.
All of that is objectively great. What’s not so great, however, is the Anthony Davis-sized hole on the interior. And that will need addressing sooner than later.
Fortunately, the Lakers seem on top of things. They are “looking for a big man,” per Yahoo Sports’ Kevin O’Connor (h/t Posting and Toasting) and have New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson on the radar.
He’s not the only one, of course. They’ve had interest in Utah Jazz center Walker Kessler “dating back to the offseason,” per The Athletic’s Jovan Buha, who added they’ve also “long coveted” Indiana Pacers stretch big Myles Turner.
If the Lakers were solely focused on the here and now, it’d be tough to craft a compelling case for Robinson, who’s still working his way back from foot surgery last May, over Kessler and Turner, who are both playing some of the best basketball of their careers.
Yet, despite having 40-year-old LeBron James on the roster, L.A. isn’t laser-locked on the current campaign. The megadeal for Dončić made that abundantly clear. For all of his prodigious talents, he’s an awkward on-court fit with James, since both are primary playmakers who spend the bulk of their time on the ball and don’t do their best work defensively.
The Lakers looked at the bigger picture with the Davis-for-Dončić deal, bringing back a player who can, in the words of general manager Rob Pelinka “lead this franchise for years to come.”
That doesn’t mean L.A. is just punting on this season, but there won’t be the same urgency for instant-competitiveness as there was when this team was following the James-Davis duo. The Lakers can approach the deadline with more than the next few months in mind. That’s why it doesn’t make sense to fork over all the assets needed to nab Kessler, whose availability feels debatable at best, or Turner, who has unrestricted free agency awaiting him after this season.
Without a pressing time crunch, the Lakers can be judicious here and search for potential bargains. That description sure feels like it’ll fit Robinson, a difference-making above-the-rim center when healthy with a de-escalating salary.
Granted, his availability concerns are a real thing. He only eclipsed 60 appearances in one of the past four seasons and made exactly 31 appearances in half of them. He’s only helpful if he’s playing, obviously, and he’s had a hard time playing consistently.
That should be baked into his trade cost, though, and he could be a real value at the proverbial right place. He’s an explosive, powerful lob-finisher who could thrive alongside shot-creators like James and Dončić. Robinson is also an active, intimidating rim protector, which might be even more valuable to have behind James, Dončić and Austin Reaves.
A healthy Robinson would be a clean fit for this roster, both now and moving forward. And while he isn’t healthy at the moment, it sounds like he could be soon.
The Lakers have already pulled off one heist this trade season, and they should see more bargain potential in plucking Robinson out of the clearance section.
The Los Angeles Lakers have been making headlines in the NBA world recently after acquiring superstar point guard Luka Dončić in a blockbuster trade. However, amidst all the excitement surrounding the trade, there are rumors swirling that the Lakers are not done making moves just yet.One player that the Lakers have been rumored to be targeting is New York Knicks’ rising star, Mitchell Robinson. The young center has been making a name for himself in the league with his impressive shot-blocking abilities and athleticism, and many believe he could be a perfect fit alongside Dončić in the Lakers’ lineup.
Robinson’s defensive prowess and ability to protect the rim would provide a much-needed boost to the Lakers’ defense, which has been a weak point for the team in recent seasons. Pairing him with Dončić would also give the Lakers a formidable inside-outside duo that could wreak havoc on opposing teams.
While the rumors are still just speculation at this point, it’s clear that the Lakers are looking to make a splash in the offseason and improve their roster. Keep an eye on the Lakers as they continue to make moves and potentially target Mitchell Robinson to further bolster their championship aspirations. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.

Report: Canelo Álvarez, Terence Crawford Agree to Contract for September Boxing Fight | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats, and Rumors
Omar Vega/Getty Images
Canelo Álvarez and Terence Crawford have reached a tentative agreement for a September fight, according to The Ring’s Keith Idec.
The two are expected to face off this fall in Las Vegas, with the venue and specific date still up in the air.
Boxing fans have long hoped this matchup would come to fruition. Some of the optimism steadily faded as Canelo selected a series of opponents who could charitably described as lackluster. Since winning a unanimous decision over Gennady Golovkin in September 2022, he has beaten John Ryder, Jermell Charlo, Jaime Munguía and Edgar Berlanga.
But ESPN’s Mike Coppinger first reported on Jan. 18 that negotiations between Álvarez and Crawford’s camps were “in the red zone,” a reference to the 20 yards before the end zone in football. The event is slated for the weekend of Mexican Independence Day to carry on Canelo’s annual tradition of stepping into the ring around the holiday.
Mike Coppinger @MikeCoppinger
No signed contracts yet, but Canelo Alvarez, boxing’s top star, and Terence Crawford are primed to meet on Mexican Independence Day Weekend in September if all is finalized. And as Crawford said all along, it would take place at 168 pounds with no rehydration clause. <a href=”https://t.co/Gw0DoA21uH”>pic.twitter.com/Gw0DoA21uH</a>
Per Idec, Álvarez is likely to fight May 3 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas to keep himself sharp, and William Scull is one potential candidate for that slot. Scull is unbeaten with nine knockouts in 23 professional fights, most recently earning a unanimous decision over Vladimir Shishkin in October.
It’s unclear whether Crawford would also schedule a tune-up ahead of a megafight with Canelo, though that seems a strong possibility.
The 37-year-old fought just once in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024, so a yearlong layoff between his August win over Israil Madrimov and a date with Álvarez wouldn’t be uncommon. For a headliner of this magnitude, he may prefer to avoid having any ring rust.
BREAKING NEWS: Canelo Álvarez and Terence Crawford have reportedly agreed to a contract for a highly-anticipated boxing fight set to take place in September. This clash between two of the sport’s biggest stars is sure to be an epic showdown that fans won’t want to miss.Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting matchup, including news, scores, highlights, stats, and rumors leading up to the fight. MOBILE, Ala. — Cleveland Browns general manager Andrew Berry might find himself discussing potential trades with his peers this week during and around Senior Bowl practices, but he affirmed Tuesday that he won’t be talking about defensive end Myles Garrett.
Garrett hinted late in the season that he wouldn’t commit to a long-term future with the Browns until he talked with Berry and other high-ranking officials about the team’s plans to quickly recover from a 3-14 campaign. But Berry told reporters that Cleveland will not be trading Garrett, who’s currently signed through 2026.
“We always have a really good and direct two-way communication with our players (and) we feel really good about Myles, obviously, as a big piece of our future,” Berry said. “We’re looking forward to him being on the field. Like I said in my (early January) press conference, we envision him going from Cleveland to Canton when his career is over.”
Garrett, 29, is again a finalist for the NFL Defensive Player of the Year award, which he won last year. This past season, Garrett became the youngest player to reach 100 career sacks and the first player to record 14 or more sacks in four consecutive seasons.
In December, Garrett said he was not interested in being part of another rebuild and that 2024 was the most disappointing season he’d had, which included Cleveland going 0-16 when Garrett was a rookie in 2017. The Browns started the 2024 season with the most expensive roster in NFL history but spiraled while starting four different quarterbacks and finishing last in points and interceptions thrown.
Garrett might have been angling to become the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history with his comments, and it sounds like he might get his way. Berry previously said he didn’t envision the Browns shedding core players to address their salary-cap issues, and he said here in Mobile he wouldn’t be willing to listen to offers for Garrett — even if those offers included multiple first-round picks.
“I don’t want to go into contract discussions (and) I wouldn’t do that publicly, but I think you can assume that we do anticipate at some point getting (that done),” Berry said. “We want Myles to retire as a Brown.”
Berry and a Browns contingent that includes coach Kevin Stefanski are meeting with and evaluating draft prospects from the sideline of Senior Bowl practices this week. Stefanski doesn’t usually attend the Senior Bowl, but he’s here this year with the Browns back in the quarterback search business and holding the No. 2 pick in April’s draft.

Cleveland Browns fans can breathe a sigh of relief as General Manager Andrew Berry has officially shut down any rumors of trading star defensive end Myles Garrett. Despite speculation swirling around Garrett’s future with the team, Berry made it clear that Garrett is a key part of their plans moving forward. In a recent press conference, Berry stated, “Myles is a foundational player for us and we are excited about what he brings to our defense. We have no intentions of trading him and he is a big part of our long-term vision for this team.”
Garrett, who is coming off a dominant season with 12 sacks and 4 forced fumbles, is widely regarded as one of the best defensive players in the league. His combination of size, speed, and pass-rushing ability make him a game-changer on the field.
With Berry’s reassurance, Browns fans can now focus on the upcoming season with confidence that Garrett will be leading the charge on defense. It’s clear that the organization values Garrett’s contributions and sees him as a vital piece of their future success.

76ers Trade Rumors: Knicks, Celtics, Nuggets Among Teams Eyeing Guerschon Yabusele | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats, and Rumors
Mitchell Leff/Getty Images
Guerschon Yabusele is garnering trade interest in his second stint in the NBA.
The Philadelphia Inquirer‘s Keith Pompey named Yabusele as the Philadelphia 76ers’ “most enticing trade target for opposing teams” ahead of the Feb. 6 deadline.
Pompey named the New York Knicks, Boston Celtics and Denver Nuggets as teams interested in acquiring the former 2016 first-round pick.
Yabusele began his NBA career by playing two seasons with the Boston Celtics before the team waived him in the summer of 2019.
He spent several years playing professionally in China, France and Spain before the Sixers brought Yabusele back to the NBA on a one-year veteran minimum contract.
Having played his way into a starting role while averaging 10.8 points and 5.5 rebounds per game, Yabusele has likely out-earned his $2 million salary this season.
The Sixers likely aren’t in a position to give him a raise next season after committing to pay more than $135 million to Joel Embiid, Paul George and Tyrese Maxey in 2025-26.
Deciding whether to take advantage of the jump in Yabusele’s value to trade him this winter could hinge on if the Sixers see themselves as a postseason contender.
Heading into Sunday with a 19-28 record, the Sixers one game back from the Chicago Bulls for the last play-in spot in the Eastern Conference.
If the Sixers decide to push for the play-in round, keeping Yabusele, who played well during a recent four-game winning streak that lifted Philadelphia closer to the playoff picture, could be key to the team’s postseason hopes.
If Philadelphia decides to sell at the deadline, however, the team could be better served by taking advantage of Yabusele’s value to a win-now team by picking up draft assets.
SNY’s Ian Begley previously reported that the Knicks had checked in with the Sixers regarding Yabusele, and that his .400 shooting on 3.9 attempted 3-pointers per game could “benefit a Knick team that wants to keep the floor spread on offense.”
The Nuggets have been in need of frontcourt depth throughout the 2024-25 season. Denver’s bench has contributed 10.2 points per game, good for 27th in the NBA, through 49 games this season. Adding Yabusele as a depth option behind Nikola Jokić could help this team gear up for a playoff run.
The Celtics added to their frontcourt depth ahead of the 2024 trade deadline by adding Xavier Tillman Sr., but Tillman’s playing time has dropped to an average of just seven minutes through 26 games so far this season. Replacing him with Yabusele could be a bench upgrade for the defending champions.
The Philadelphia 76ers have been a hot topic of discussion in recent days as rumors swirl around potential trades involving forward Guerschon Yabusele. Several teams, including the New York Knicks, Boston Celtics, and Denver Nuggets, are reportedly interested in acquiring the talented young player.Yabusele, a former first-round draft pick, has shown flashes of potential during his time with the 76ers, but has struggled to find consistent playing time on a deep roster. With the trade deadline approaching, Philadelphia may be looking to move Yabusele in exchange for assets that can help bolster their playoff push.
The Knicks, Celtics, and Nuggets are all in need of frontcourt depth and could benefit from adding a player like Yabusele to their roster. While no trade has been finalized yet, discussions are said to be ongoing and a deal could materialize in the coming days.
Stay tuned for more updates on the 76ers trade rumors involving Guerschon Yabusele, as news, scores, highlights, stats, and rumors continue to develop.

Dillon Brooks: Rockets ‘Crumbled’ vs. Grizzlies, ‘We Should Have Blew Them Out’ | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats, and Rumors
Grant Burke/NBAE via Getty Images
It’s safe to say Dillon Brooks was not happy with the Houston Rockets’ performance in a 120-119 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday night.
Brooks told reporters after the game the Rockets “crumbled” in blowing an eight-point lead in the final five minutes against the Grizzlies.
“We should have blew them out,” Brooks said. “We just fell into their game and we just crumble every time. We just got to get stops, stop turning over the ball.”
The Rockets led this game by as many as 11 points in the first half. They did take the lead early in the fourth quarter, but Houston stormed back to go ahead 115-107 with 6:18 remaining.
Houston’s offense went scoreless for the next four minutes until Tari Eason’s layup with 2:21 left to play. The Grizzlies went on a 7-0 run in between to get within one point.
It looked like the Rockets were going to hold on when Jalen Green made two of three free throws to make the score 119-114 with 1:54 remaining. Two quick buckets by the Grizzlies got them within one point.
Brooks fouled Jaren Jackson Jr. with eight seconds left that allowed the Grizzlies forward to make two free throws to put his team ahead 120-119. Fred VanVleet did get a look from three for the win, but his attempt missed to end Houston’s four-game winning streak.
The Grizzlies were able to win without Ja Morant, who sat out due to a shoulder injury. Their 120 points tied the fifth-most the Rockets have allowed in a game this season.
There’s no shame in losing to a Memphis team that has the third-best record in the Western Conference (32-16). The Rockets (32-15) did miss an opportunity to put a little breathing room between themselves and the Grizzlies for the No. 2 seed.
In a recent post-game interview, Memphis Grizzlies forward Dillon Brooks didn’t hold back when discussing the Houston Rockets’ performance in their recent matchup. Brooks criticized the Rockets for “crumbling” in the game and expressed frustration that his team didn’t blow them out.Despite the Rockets being one of the worst teams in the league this season, the Grizzlies only managed to win by a narrow margin. Brooks was clearly disappointed with his team’s performance and expected a more dominant showing against the struggling Rockets.
Fans of the Grizzlies will be eager to see if the team can bounce back from this lackluster performance and show more consistency in future games. Stay tuned for more updates on the Grizzlies’ season as they continue to push for a playoff spot.

One thing was clear—the <a href=”https://twitter.com/BuffaloBills?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw”>@BuffaloBills</a> felt disrespected. Right or wrong, it was a rallying cry, and Josh Allen brought up at halftime the narrative that the Bills weren’t big or strong enough.<br><br>On the way out, I heard a guy say, “Now those 9 Pro Bowlers can go to the Pro Bowl.” <a href=”https://t.co/M13oe8TBS8″>https://t.co/M13oe8TBS8</a>
Well, Buffalo’s season came to an end Sunday with a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game. Humphrey seized the opportunity to bring things full circle when he took to social media and said, “after the pro bowl maybe we can all go enjoy Cancun.”
There’s a certain level of irony with Humphrey poking fun at the Bills after their loss.
After all, it was just a handful of days ago that he took to social media and urged Buffalo to defeat the Chiefs and prevent Patrick Mahomes and Co. from making history as the first team in the NFL to win three straight Super Bowls:
Humphrey and NFL fans who are tired of the Chiefs winning now have to put their hopes on the Philadelphia Eagles.
It will be a rematch of Super Bowl LVII, which Kansas City won 38-35. However, Philadelphia didn’t have Saquon Barkley on its side for that one, which could be the difference this time around.
But defeating a Chiefs team that feels inevitable is easier said than done.
Buffalo certainly knows that considering it has lost to Mahomes’ side in four of the last five postseasons. Two of those losses came in the AFC Championship Game, with Sunday coming in particularly painful fashion since it had a fourth-quarter lead.
Humphrey knows what it’s like to lose to the Chiefs at this stage since Kansas City defeated the Ravens in last season’s AFC Championship Game.
Ultimately, there is nobody in the NFL better at sending opponents to Cancun than Mahomes.
In a tweet that has since been deleted, Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey took a shot at the Buffalo Bills following their loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game.Humphrey tweeted, “Looks like Buffalo is headed to Cancun early this year,” referencing the Bills’ early exit from the playoffs. The tweet quickly went viral, with many fans and media outlets reacting to Humphrey’s jab.
While some found the tweet amusing, others criticized Humphrey for being unsportsmanlike. Regardless, the Ravens’ cornerback didn’t seem to mind the backlash, as he later tweeted, “I’m just here for the laughs.”
The Bills have yet to respond to Humphrey’s tweet, but it’s safe to say that this won’t be the last we hear of this social media feud. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
