  • Sister Wives’ Kody Brown Admits He and Robyn Are in ‘Different Places’ About Coyote Pass Sale

Sister Wives star Kody Brown admitted that he and his wife, Robyn Brown, aren’t on the same page when it comes to selling their Coyote Pass property.

“I love Coyote Pass. I always have,” Robyn, 46, said in a teaser clip for the Sunday, January 26, episode shared by Us Weekly. “It’s hard to think of letting it go.”

Meanwhile, Kody, 55, admitted that he and Robyn “haven’t really synced up” of their future plans for the property.

“We’re in different places and it’s an in and out,” the Brown patriarch continued. “It’s like sometimes I want to keep it, sometimes I want to sell it. And Robyn knows we need to sell it but sometimes wants to keep it.”

Kody, Robyn and his ex-wives Christine Brown, Janelle Brown and Meri Brown bought the Arizona property in 2018 for $820,000. Shortly after they made the purchase, the family faced several delays when trying to break ground and his ultimate spiritual divorces prevented them from ever building houses on the property for each wife like they planned.

While the family once had high hopes for Coyote Pass, Robyn admitted that she now has mixed feelings about the land after their polygamous family fell apart.

“Every time I’m at Coyote Pass, I’m just like, my heart aches,” she said in the teaser clip. “I [just] see the vision that I’ve always imagined, you know, all of the space and the houses.”

Kody then admitted he understood where Robyn was coming from, noting that Coyote Pass is “literally the last place our family ever got everybody together.”

“It’s just been so difficult and so sad with the family,” Robyn added, noting that the property represents what their family could have been if they had not fallen apart. “I know everybody just wants out of the pain.”

Christine, 52, was Kody’s first wife to leave him in November 2021, while Janelle, 55, followed suit in December 2022. Shortly after, Kody and Meri, 54, confirmed they decided to end their spiritual marriage in January 2023.

While Christine sold her portion of Coyote Pass to Kody and Robyn for $10 in 2022, fans are currently watching Janelle and Meri navigate what they want to do with their portion of the land during season 19 of the TLC show.

Sister Wives’ Kody Brown Admits He and Robyn Are in 'Different Places' About Coyote Pass Sale

Sister Wives’ Kody Brown Admits He and Robyn Are in ‘Different Places’ About Coyote Pass Sale

Janelle had expressed her concerns that Kody and Robyn would take advantage of her and Meri in the potential sale, and the businessman even admitted he “thought about screwing” Janelle over during the November 27, 2024, episode.

“OK, so I’m being honest, but I won’t. My wife with a conscience won’t let me,” Kody added that the time.

Kody went on to explain his reasoning by arguing that Janelle would do the same if she were in his position. “[Janelle] doesn’t trust me because she would screw me if she could. That’s what I believe,” he said.

More recently, Janelle revealed she hired a lawyer to deal with the situation during the January 19 episode. “I actually hired a lawyer. I’ve found one and I put the retainer down, and basically I’m just going to be going for separation of assets,” she explained. “You know what I mean? Like that’s really all I can go for.”

Sister Wives’ fans have been anxiously awaiting updates on the Brown family’s plans for their Coyote Pass property, and it seems that there may be some discord among the spouses. In a recent interview, Kody Brown admitted that he and his fourth wife, Robyn, are in “different places” when it comes to selling the property.

Kody explained that while he is eager to sell the property and move the family to one centralized location, Robyn is more hesitant about the idea. He shared that Robyn has concerns about uprooting their family and moving to a new location, especially with their children still in school.

This admission has sparked speculation among fans about potential rifts within the family and differing priorities among the spouses. Some fans have expressed concerns about the impact of this disagreement on the family dynamic and the future of their living arrangements.

As the Brown family continues to navigate their unique living situation, it remains to be seen how they will ultimately resolve this issue and what the future holds for Coyote Pass. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.

  • Sister Wives’ Meri Brown Says None of Us Are Talking’ Due to Lack of ‘Trust’ amid Coyote Pass Sale

Meri Brown is looking out for herself when it comes to her portion of Coyote Pass.

The Sister Wives star opened up about the ongoing drama surrounding the Flagstaff, Ariz. property that she shares with her ex Kody, his wife Robyn and her former sister wife Janelle in an all-new episode on Sunday, Jan. 26.

During a video call, Janelle asks Meri about an email she sent to the group, and Meri explains it was her way of “starting a conversation” about what to do with the property. After a series of email exchanges, Meri recalls how Kody finally decided that he wants to sell the land and he’s going to find a realtor to help him do it.

“I don’t think you get to decide what to do with it,” a frustrated Meri says to Janelle of their ex. “Sorry, you are not the head of my family.”

In a confessional clip, Meri dives deeper into her frustration surrounding the property, including how she thinks everyone has their own agenda.

“I feel like Kody and Robyn probably have some plan of what they want to do, and how they want to handle it,” she says of the sale. “I think that Janelle has some sort of plan, and I know that I do as well.”

She adds, “And none of us are talking to each other because none of us trust each other.”

During the call, Janelle admits she’s been talking to a lawyer about protecting her portion of the property.

After she advises Meri she should do the same, Meri reveals that she’s open to taking legal action as it feels like Kody is keeping her in the dark regarding the details of the sale.

“There’s been a lot of confusion surrounding the way things have been done in the family, the way that Kody is with me and has been with me for many, many years,” she explains. “So I think that’s why I’m going to get a lawyer to help me through this process.”

She notes that she’s ready to put herself first for a change after years of trying to keep the peace between herself and Kody.

“I felt like for quite a few years, I’ve just kind of sat back and just not wanted to ruffle feathers. So I haven’t pushed the issue on many things, but I will push the issue now,” she says.

In a recent Jan. 19 episode, Janelle previously broke the news to her former sister wife, Christine, that she officially hired a lawyer to help her with the “separation of assets” and to make sure the sale is handled fairly.

Christine agreed that’s the right thing to do as Janelle explained she didn’t trust Kody to be fair during the process.

The division of Coyote Pass has been an ongoing point of contention between the exes.

Before their plural marriage fell apart, the group initially bought the land plots so their families could all live close to each other. Christine also had a share of the land, but she sold it back to Kody in August 2022 following their separation. (She was the first to leave the plural marriage in November 2021.)

Robyn is now Kody’s last remaining wife from the original marriage, as Meri and Janelle both announced their separation from Kody within 14 months of Christine leaving.

Sister Wives airs Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.

Sister Wives’ Meri Brown recently opened up about the strained relationship between her and her sister wives, revealing that they are not speaking to each other due to a lack of trust. The tension between the women has reportedly been escalating as they navigate the sale of their shared property, Coyote Pass.

In a candid post on social media, Meri shared her frustrations about the lack of communication among the group. She expressed her disappointment that none of the sister wives are talking to each other, highlighting the breakdown of trust as a major factor in their current situation.

The sale of Coyote Pass has been a contentious issue for the sister wives, with differing opinions on how to proceed. The ongoing negotiations and disagreements have only exacerbated the existing tensions within the family.

Meri’s honesty about the strained relationships within the sister wives’ dynamic sheds light on the challenges they are facing. As they navigate this difficult time, it is clear that rebuilding trust will be a crucial step towards resolving their issues and moving forward as a united family.

Stay tuned for more updates on the sister wives’ journey as they work through their differences and strive to find common ground amidst the sale of Coyote Pass.

  • Rockstar Games Massive Steam Sale: Best Games And Deals

Image for article titled GTA, Red Redemption And Other Rockstar Hits Are All On Sale Right Now

    Screenshot: Rockstar Games / Kotaku

Almost all of Rockstar’s PC catalog is currently on sale right on Steam. That includes games like Red Dead Redemption II, Grand Theft Auto V, Bully, and many more.

The Rockstar Games Sale started on January 23 and is set to end on February 6, so don’t wait too long if you’ve been wanting to buy GTA V. Then again, based on how many millions of copies of GTA V are sold every year, statistically speaking, the odds are you already own Rockstar’s uber-popular open-world crime sim. But there are plenty of other great Rockstar games to pick up in the current Steam sale.

If you can only buy one game as part of this Rockstar sale, I’d recommend Red Dead Redemption II. Normally Rockstar charges $60 for the 2018 open-world Western. Right now, however, you can get it for just $15. Even better, Red Dead Redemption II runs just fine on a Steam Deck. And thanks to Rockstar finally porting the original Red Dead Redemption to PC late last year, you can grab that one on sale, too. However, Rockstar only has it marked down to $40 instead of $50, which is just outrageously expensive for a decade-old Xbox 360 port.

Anyway, here are the other Rockstar PC games currently on sale on Steam until February 6:

    • GTA: The Trilogy: Definitive Edition – $24 ($60)
    • GTA IV & Episodes From Liberty City – $6 ($20)
    • Grand Theft Auto V – $15 ($25)
    • Red Dead Redemption – $40 ($50)
    • Red Dead Redemption 2 – $15 ($60)
    • Red Dead Online – $10 ($20)
    • Max Payne – $3.50 ($10)
    • Max Payne 2 – $2.50 ($10)
    • Max Payne 3 – $6 ($20)
    • Manhunt – $3.50 ($10)
    • LA Noire – $6 ($20)
    • LA Noire VR Case Files – $15 ($30)
    • Bully: Scholarship Edition – $5 ($15)

  • Railbird tickets go on sale

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Lexington’s signature music festival is just over four months out but preparations are well underway. Tickets for Railbird 2025 went on sale Friday morning.

As we’ve seen in previous years, the presale tickets go fast.

Red Mile is currently a winter wonderland, but in a few short months, the infield will be transformed with three stages and tens of thousands of festival-goers.

“I think we are in for a great show in 2025,” said Red Mile VP of Operations Mary Catherine Jones.

The Railbird lineup is more than 30 artists long and includes some of country music’s biggest names. Jelly Roll and Lainey Wilson are the headliners. Other artists include Riley Green, Shaboozey and Bailey Zimmerman.

“They do a fabulous job of trying to find the best talent to bring to Lexington,” said Jones. “They also really look for names that they know will resonate with their demographic that comes to Railbird.”

Railbird made the switch to Red Mile in 2023 after facing harsh criticism in 2021. It was held at Keeneland and after the first day, festival-goers complained about extremely long lines and not enough water stations.

“What a perk to be able to have this in our backyard and to be able to see 40,000 people on any given day in the infield is a really incredible feeling for us at Red Mile,” said Jones.

Jones says every year, they work closely with Railbird to provide a top-notch customer experience.

“Every year, they come to us with great ideas with how to improve amenities,” Jones said. “Last year, they did a lot of great work ensuring the restrooms were updated. This year, I know they’re working hard to bring additional amenities and options for ticketing as well.”

Jones says they stay open during Railbird, which has given them great exposure to people who live near and far.

“We know what it does for our local economy, and we’re really proud to help boost that local economy: restaurants, hotels, small businesses,” said Jones.

If you haven’t gotten your tickets yet, make sure to check out the full list of ticket options and amenities on Railbird’s website.

  • Elon Musk’s Maybe-Club and Bret Baier’s $25 Million Mansion Sale Are Fueling the Hamptons-ification of DC

Now that a second Donald Trump presidency has dawned, the rich and wannabe-famous have realized that DC might just be the place to be, if they’re hoping to get The Donald’s ear and champion their causes over the next four years. The problem is, they all have to sleep somewhere.

Due to the mega-MAGA influx of new personnel and those who want to influence them hitting the area, there’s high demand for high-end real estate, the New York Times reports. “We’ve really been overwhelmed by the wealth factor that has come to Washington since the election,” TTR Sotheby’s International Realty executive vice president Jim Bell told the Times, noting that some agents have taken to cold-calling past clients with homes that might fit the bill and asking them to name their price.

Jonathan Taylor, a founder and managing partner at the same firm, told the paper that “there are a lot of very wealthy people looking for a seat at the table.”

Carlyle Group founder David Rubenstein, founder of the private equity firm the Carlyle Group, pointed out that housing in the government town is more affordable than in other meccas for the uber-rich. “If you want to buy a home in New York or Southampton, a really good house, it could cost $100 million to $150 million,” he told the Times. “You can’t spend $25 million in Washington even if you try.”

Chairman and CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald turned Commerce Secretary pick Howard Lutnick, however, did try—and succeeded. Lutnick recently closed on a new home, paying $25 million for a mansion previously owned by Fox News anchor Bret Baier. The 16,250-square-foot estate was inspired by a French Chateau and features a 56-foot heated pool and its own putting green, among other amenities. Baier initially listed the home at $31.9 million in October 2023, but even coming down from the sticker price, the all-cash transaction set a new record for the most expensive real estate transaction in DC’s history.

Sotheby’s agent Daniel Heider, who represented the listing, told the Washingtonian, “I’m currently in the midst of selling more real estate than I’ve ever sold in a short period in my career. It’s not a Trump bump. It’s a Trump surge.”

Amazon’s Jeff Bezos got in the door early and snapped up real estate during Trump’s first term. Bezos bought the 27,000-square-foot space formerly housing the Textile Museum for $23 million in 2016. Rumor has it that Elon Musk is eyeing DC property himself, with Eater DC reporting that he’s mulling a bid on the 220-room Line Hotel to create a private club, a little Musk-a-Lago. The property goes to public auction on Thursday. (A spokesperson for Musk did not respond to the Times or VF.)

So, what to do if you have a nice place, no strong need to be in DC specifically, and are disgusted by the new guys in town, who aren’t even bothering to deny whether they were throwing up Nazi salutes while installing a new president?

Consider throwing a little gold paint on it, taking the buyout, and getting the hell out while you still can. Another upside: You won’t have to witness whatever the eyeball-burning hell Melania decides to do with the Christmas trees this time around.
