    This year, Jennie — one of the four members of Blackpink — is going on a much shorter trek in the U.S. and her native South Korea in support of her forthcoming debut album “Ruby,” which hits shelves March 7.

    As of now, the only non-festival North American gigs the singer/rapper/actress/model has on her 2025 ‘Ruby Experience Tour’ itinerary are back-to-back performances at Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater on March 6-7 and New York’s Radio City Music Hall on Monday, March 10.

    “Intense and intimate as I like it,” the 29-year-old shared in what appears to be a David Lynch-inspired Instagram post.

    She’s also slated to perform both Sundays at Coachella — April 13 and 20 — this year. Fellow big names joining her on the bill include Enhypen, Keshi, beabadoobe and her Blackpink bandmate Lisa.

    “Mantra,” which dropped Oct. 10, hit number one in Hong Kong and Taiwan and peaked at No. 3 on the US’ Global 200 chart.

    As for the song itself, “Mantra” clocks in at a little over two minutes and hooks listeners in with its hypnotic a cappella repetition of “pretty” before the icy synths and bouncy horns kick in. Tempos change, drumbeats get the spotlight, the breathy chorus swells. If this song is any indication of what’s to come, “Ruby” will be chock-full of body-movin’ bops. We can’t wait.

    Who’s competing at the 2025 Prevagen?

    Singles phenomenon Amber Glenn, 25, is coming to Kansas fresh off of winning gold at the Grand Prix Final in Grenoble, France. The Texas native joined fellow gold medal winners Malinin, and Chock and Bates in making history: it was the first time Team USA secured the top spot in three senior disciplines at the prestigious competition.

    A relatively new duo in the pairs figure skating competition, Ellie Kam and Danny O’Shea began skating together in September 2022 and have quickly become ones to watch, winning gold at the 2024 U.S. Figure Skating Championships. Expect a heartfelt performance from this enthralling duo.

  • NBA Announces Slight Schedule Change for Raptors


    The Toronto Raptors will see a slight change to their schedule, as their March 19 road game against the Golden State Warriors has been moved to March 20 at 7:00 p.m. local time (10:00 p.m. ET), the NBA announced Tuesday.

    The adjustment is part of a broader set of reschedulings to accommodate games that were postponed earlier this season due to wildfires in Los Angeles and weather-related disruptions in New Orleans.

    For the Raptors, the change is relatively minor. The team will now have two days off between their March 17 matchup against the Phoenix Suns and the rescheduled game against the Warriors. Following that, Toronto will have another two days before returning home for a back-to-back set against the San Antonio Spurs and Washington Wizards on March 23 and 24.

    The league announced nine total schedule changes, including a makeup date for the Los Angeles Lakers, who will now host the San Antonio Spurs on March 17 after their January 11 game was postponed due to wildfires in California. The Milwaukee Bucks’ January 22 road game against the New Orleans Pelicans, which was postponed due to severe weather conditions, has been rescheduled for April 6.

    Orlando saw the most movement with three of its games adjusted. Their home game against Chicago, originally scheduled for March 12, has been moved to March 6. Their road game against San Antonio, initially set for March 17, has been pushed to April 1. Their road game in New Orleans, previously scheduled for April 6, will now be played on March 13.

    Golden State also had to accommodate changes, as their home game against Milwaukee was moved up from March 20 to March 18, allowing the Raptors’ game, originally set for March 19, to shift to March 20 instead. New Orleans’ road game against the Bucks was also delayed by one day, moving from April 9 to April 10.



    The NBA has announced a slight schedule change for the Toronto Raptors, with one of their upcoming games being rescheduled.

    The Raptors were originally scheduled to play the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday, February 23rd at 7:30 PM ET. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the game has been moved to Thursday, February 24th at 7:30 PM ET.

    This change will give the Raptors an extra day of rest and preparation before taking on the Pistons. Fans who have already purchased tickets for the original date can rest assured that their tickets will still be valid for the rescheduled game.

  • Syracuse football’s 2025 schedule released: When will Bill Belichick come to the dome next season?


    Syracuse, N.Y. — One of the greatest football coaches in the history of the sport will make his JMA Dome debut on Halloween.

    New North Carolina coach Bill Belichick, who won six Super Bowls as the head coach of the New England Patriots, will bring the Tar Heels during his first season coaching at the college level. The game will be played on Friday night, one of two Friday games on the SU schedule.

    The ACC released the dates for all 12 of Syracuse’s games next season, a schedule that is expected to be one of the toughest in the history of Syracuse football.

    Syracuse’s 2025 schedule includes four games against teams that went to the playoffs this season and five games against teams that are in every reputable version of early Top 25 projections.

    Syracuse faces a number of strong quarterbacks including Clemson’s Cade Klubnik, All-ACC Third Team quarterback Kevin Jennings of SMU, pricey transfer portal addition Carson Beck of Miami and Tennessee’s Nico Iamaleava and Georgia Tech’s Haynes King.

    With non-conference games against both Notre Dame and Tennessee, the schedule looks like it will be in the conversation for the toughest that the Orange has ever played.

    In addition to North Carolina, Syracuse’s other Friday game is on Sept. 12 against Colgate.

  • Suns beat Wizards, enter league’s toughest schedule


    PHOENIX — The Phoenix Suns have won eight of their last 11 games, a figure that is some type of tangible progress, but not as much as it should be after Saturday’s 119-109 victory over the Washington Wizards was another uninspiring one.

    Washington started the year 2-2 and is 4-35 since. Saturday’s defeat made it a 13-game losing streak.

    Phoenix went up 14 early, not so much a byproduct of playing high-level basketball but by taking care of the ball and limiting second-chance opportunities. Washington cut it to six a few times in the second quarter before the Suns extended the lead to as many as 19 in the mid third-quarter.

    That’s when the Suns’ mental detachment began and those categories started adding up again, predictably leading to the Wizards getting within four with 2:26 left in the third quarter. That inspired head coach Mike Budenholzer’s second timeout in under three minutes.

    A 7-0 run from Kevin Durant helped stabilize the Suns back to an 11-point advantage entering the fourth quarter that grew to 15. The Wizards then hit back-to-back 3s on cue, right when it felt like Phoenix was going to be able to coast through the remaining 10 minutes.

    That same feeling resurfaced again and Washington kept getting back in it, going on a 14-4 run to make it 113-109 Suns with under two minutes to go. Nick Richards sunk two free throws, and then so did Durant to put it away.

    “There’s good spurts of the game and bad spurts,”  Suns guard Devin Booker said. “Think our true tests are coming up this next week.”

    Richards had 20 points and a career-high 19 rebounds, the most rebounds by a Sun this season. He had 15 of those in the first half, the fourth time a player has done that this NBA season, per Stathead.

    “It’s what we need,” Booker said of Richards. “And he’s giving his all every play on both ends of the floor. Tonight, the numbers showed that. There’s been other nights where the numbers don’t look as crazy but he still had an impact.”

    Durant provided 29 points and Bradley Beal added 20 off the bench. Beal took the place of Ryan Dunn to start the second half after an ankle sprain in the first quarter ruled out Dunn.

    Saturday marks the unofficial end of the Suns’ cushy portion of the schedule. It felt imperative for Phoenix to take advantage of a lackluster string of matchups in December and January, a stretch that got even easier than it was on paper because of key injuries for some of the better opponents on the slate. And yet, the Suns went 11-13 for it and now sit 23-21, eighth in the Western Conference.

    Phoenix has the toughest schedule left in the league. Entering play on Saturday, there were 10 teams in the NBA with less than 20 losses and the Suns will play 19 of their remaining 38 contests against those teams, including 10 against the top five in the standings.

    There are three straight games coming up against West teams more or less in its range (Clippers, T-Wolves and Warriors) before a road back-to-back against the Portland Trail Blazers is the final respite.

    Here are some of the rather ridiculous bursts of high-end opposition coming (*represents second game of a back-to-back):

    Feb. 5-12: at Oklahoma City, vs. Utah, vs. Denver*, vs. Memphis, at Houston*

    March 2-12: vs. Minnesota, vs. LAC, at Denver, at Dallas, at Memphis, at Houston, vs. Sacramento, at LAL

    March 21-April 13: vs. Cleveland, vs. Milwaukee, vs. Boston, at Minnesota, vs. Houston, at Milwaukee, at New York, vs. Golden State, vs. Oklahoma City*, vs. San Antonio, at Sacramento

    The Lakers contest on March 16 will be 68 games into the year. By then, we will have certified and cemented separation in the standings that will tell us if that brutal 12-game close is more about ensuring a playoff spot, a play-in fate or worse.

    This all sounds daunting, but remember that through all the visible issues on the floor last year, the Suns finished the year 35-18, including a lot of wins for a similarly-feared conclusion.

    Beal was back after missing three of the last four games due to a left ankle sprain. With that brief one-game return splitting up his time out, that is now seven different gaps in the season he’s been inactive for.

    Jusuf Nurkic, the Suns’ starting center last year and for the start of this year, was active for the first time since being out for six games due to the flu and a conditioning ramp-up off that. Nurkic did not play, continuing his recent move out of the rotation. Nurkic told azcentral’s Duane Rankin he and Budenholzer didn’t talk for two months and don’t have a relationship, also saying he won’t pout by bringing further chaos to a team that already has “plenty of it.” Budenholzer denied the lack of contact, noting conversations have taken place.

    With Phoenix recently splitting up one first-round pick into three, it surely would ideally like to not have to use them all in a Jimmy Butler deal and save one to attach to Nurkic to add another rotation piece while also getting off the last year of Nurkic’s contract for next season. The Butler part is wishful thinking. Nurkic himself has his doubts, citing the Suns’ flexibility shortcomings with being over the second apron.

    After taking 41 3s in a win over Brooklyn, Phoenix got up 40 on Saturday. That is a much-needed return back to numbers north of 35. It’s hard to say how indicative that is of progress given it came against two putrid defensive teams that you can go on auto-pilot with drive-and-kick possessions to generate ’em but it’s a start.





    In a thrilling matchup, the Phoenix Suns came out on top against the Washington Wizards with a final score of 110-105. Despite facing one of the toughest schedules in the league, the Suns showed their resilience and determination to secure the win.

    Devin Booker led the way for the Suns with 30 points, while Deandre Ayton chipped in with a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds. Chris Paul orchestrated the offense with 15 assists, showcasing his veteran leadership on the court.

    The Suns have been tested early in the season with a tough schedule that has included matchups against top teams like the Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Lakers, and Milwaukee Bucks. However, they have proven that they are up to the challenge and are capable of competing with the best teams in the league.

    With this win against the Wizards, the Suns have improved their record to 7-3 and are looking like legitimate contenders in the Western Conference. As they continue to navigate through a difficult schedule, the Suns will need to rely on their depth and teamwork to continue their success on the court.

  • Jim Acosta leaving CNN after being pulled from network’s programming schedule: report


    CNN anchor Jim Acosta is reportedly leaving the network after he was officially pulled from its programming schedule. 

    The Status newsletter reported Monday that Acosta was expected to leave CNN after it was announced last week that his 10 a.m. ET program was being replaced with “The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer and Pamela Brown” in the network’s latest reshuffling. 

    The newsletter previously reported that Acosta was pitched by CNN CEO Mark Thompson to move him from his one-hour slot at 10 a.m. ET to a two-hour slot beginning at midnight, a far less distinguished place in the lineup.

    One CNN insider told Fox News Digital they heard Acosta “struggled with the choice” and may be cutting his contract short as a result.

    “It takes courage,” the CNN insider said.

    CNN declined to comment.

    Acosta became more widely known as CNN’s chief White House correspondent for his antagonistic relationship with President Donald Trump and his aides during the first Trump administration. After the 2020 election, Acosta’s status at CNN was shifted to chief domestic correspondent, anchoring a show on the weekends but eventually moving his way to weekday programming. 

    While CNN’s past leadership reveled in Acosta’s constant sparring matches with the first Trump administration, the network’s current leadership appears to be trying to appear more neutral for the second go-around.

    Acosta first joined CNN in 2007, where he covered political campaigns and eventually the Obama and Trump White Houses. He quickly became notorious for shouting questions at Trump’s White House press secretaries and frequently going toe-to-toe with the president himself, developing a reputation for grandstanding and receiving a profile boost by Trump after being called “fake news.”

    Acosta famously refused to give up the microphone in a 2018 press conference as he engaged in a contentious back-and-forth with Trump. The White House attempted to revoke Acosta’s press pass following the dust-up, but his credentials were restored when CNN argued that it violated the First and Fifth Amendment rights of Acosta and the network.

    Acosta’s adversarial relationship with the first Trump administration appeared to be lucrative as he landed himself a book deal and became a frequent guest on liberal late-night shows, further fueling the star power that landed him an anchor chair during the Biden presidency. He recently told viewers the press is “not the enemy of the people” in a shot at Trump.

  • 2025 NFL playoff schedule, bracket: Dates, times, TV, streaming for AFC, NFC Championship games, Super Bowl

    The NFL season started with 32 teams fighting to get to New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX, and now, that battle is down to just four teams as we get set to crown AFC and NFC champions on Sunday afternoon. 

    In the NFC, the Philadelphia Eagles will host the Washington Commanders. This will mark the first time since the 1986 season that two NFC East teams will be playing each other in the conference title game. The two teams split in the regular season.

    In the AFC, the Kansas City Chiefs will be hosting the Buffalo Bills in a game that will mark the fourth time over the past five years that the two teams have met in the postseason. The Chiefs have won all three of the three previous meetings. The Chiefs are aiming to become the first team in NFL history to win three straight Super Bowls while the Bills are gunning to get to their first Super Bowl win in franchise history. 

    The Bills will go into the game with some confidence after beating the Chiefs 30-21 back in Week 11.

    Wild Card Weekend 

    Saturday, Jan. 11

    • (4) Texans 32-12 over (5) Chargers. The Texans fell behind 6-0 early, but then took over from there to dominate the final three quarters. The Texans defense came up big with four interceptions of Justin Herbert, including a pick six by Eric Murray in the second half. Herbert threw more picks in one playoff game (4) than he threw during the entire regular season (3). 
    • (3) Ravens 28-14 over (6) Steelers. The Ravens used Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry to streamroll their way to a win over the Steelers. Henry rushed for 186 yards and two touchdowns while Jackson added 81 rushing yards on a night where the Ravens totaled 299 yards on the ground. Jackson also threw for 175 yards and two touchdowns in the win. The Ravens jumped out to a 21-0 lead in the first half and it was never really close after that. 

    Sunday, Jan. 12

    • (2) Bills 31-7 over (7) Broncos. The Bills fell behind 7-0 after Denver’s opening possession, but it was all Buffalo after that. Josh Allen totaled more than 300 yards with 272 yards and two touchdowns through the air while also tacking on 46 yards on the ground. With the win, the Bills became the first team since 2012 to finish with at least 250 yards through air and 200 yards on the ground in a playoff game.  
    • (2) Eagles 22-10 over (7) Packers. The Packers fumbled away the opening kickoff and things only got uglier from there. Jalen Hurts threw a touchdown pass to Jahan Dotson two plays after the Green Bay fumble and that put the Eagles ahead for good. Jordan Love threw three interceptions and the Packers were never really able to get their offense going against an impressive Eagles defense. 
    • (6) Commanders 23-20 over (3) Buccaneers. In his playoff debut, Jayden Daniels led the Commanders to their first playoff win since the 2005 season. Not only did he throw for 268 yards and two touchdowns, but he also led the team in rushing with 36 yards. With the win, Daniels became the first rookie quarterback to win a road playoff game since 2012. 

    Monday, Jan. 13

    • (4) Rams 27-9 over (5) Vikings. The Rams offense gave Los Angeles a quick 10-0 lead in the first quarter and then the defense took over from there. The Rams pass-rush absolutely dominated the Vikings, sacking Sam Darnold nine times with two of those coming from Kobie Turner. The sack total was tied for the MOST in a playoff game in NFL history. The Rams defense held the Vikings to just nine points, which tied Minnesota’s lowest scoring output of the season.

    Divisional Round

    Saturday, Jan. 18

    • (1) Chiefs 23-14 over (4) Texans. Once the playoffs start, the Chiefs always seem to find a way to win. Their offense got outgained (337-230) and their defense couldn’t stop the Texans on third down (Houston went 10 of 17), but the Chiefs continuously came up with big plays whenever they needed one. Travis Kelce, who caught seven passes for 117 yards and a touchdown, was the star for Kansas City’s offense. Defensively, the Chiefs beat up on C.J. Stroud, who got sacked eight times. The pass rush was led by George Karlaftis, who had three sacks. Patrick Mahomes is now 7-0 in the divisional round in his career. 
    • (6) Commanders 45-31 over (1) Lions. Jayden Daniels is slowly etching his name into NFL history. No rookie quarterback has ever led his team to the Super Bowl and Daniels just took one step closer by playing a nearly perfect game against the Lions. The rookie QB threw for 299 yards and two touchdowns while also rushing for 52 yards. The Commanders defense also came up big by forcing five turnovers, including a pick six by Quan Martin in the first half that put Washington in total control of the game. The Commanders are now headed to the NFC title game for the first time in 33 years. 

    Sunday, Jan. 19

    • (2) Eagles 28-22 over (4) Rams. Saquon Barkley put the Eagles on his back and carried them to the NFC title game. The Eagles running back ran for 205 yards and two touchdowns, including a 78-yard scoring run in the fourth quarter that put Philly up 28-15. Barkley’s rushing total was the fifth-highest ever in NFL postseason history. The Rams drove down to Philadelphia’s 13-yard line in the final 90 seconds aiming to get a potential game-winning touchdown, but the drive came up short, sending the Eagles to the NFC title game. 
    • (2) Bills 27-25 over (3) Ravens. The Bills have Josh Allen, but it was their defense that carried them to the win in this game. The Bills forced three turnovers and those turnovers led to 10 points, which ended up being the difference in the game. Lamar Jackson was responsible for two of those turnovers with a lost fumble and an interception in the first half. As for Allen, although he wasn’t flashy, he was still impressive on a cold night where he completed 72.7% of his passes while adding two touchdown runs. The Bills are now one win away from their first Super Bowl appearance since 1993.
