  • Heidi Klum and Seal’s Son Made His Runway Debut at Couture Fashion Week


    Heidi Klum‘s son, Henry Samuel, is following in his super model mother’s footsteps. Earlier this week, the burgeoning model made his runway debut during the Lena Erziak Haute Couture spring 2025 show as a part of Paris Couture Week.

    While coming down the runway, Samuel, whom Klum shares with ex-husband Seal, wore two different black suits: One featured a backless blazer and a sash tied around his waist, while the other was accessorized with a large satin cape that had bedazzled brooches and was draped over his shoulders. The 19-year-old’s braids were worn in a half-up style, and he sported a mustache.

    Although it doesn’t seem that Klum was in attendance at Tuesday’s show, she was quite the proud mother when she took to Instagram to share a clip of Samuel walking. “I still can’t get over this! You rocked it Henry—I‘m so proud of you! @henrysamle @lena_erziak,” she wrote alongside the video that was captured by Vogue Germany.

    Ahead of the show, Samuel told the publication that he was excited to get out there and enjoy his foray into the fashion world. “I’m more excited than nervous. I’m going to do my best and try to enjoy every moment to the fullest!”

    Samuel shared that he also got some words of wisdom from his famous mother and model sister, Leni Klum—who made her own runway debut in 2021. “Leni told me to look straight ahead and walk as if I was balancing a book on my head,” he shared. “My mother told me to do my best and not forget to have fun.

    “My mother often reminds me to pay attention to my posture, so I try to heed her advice,” he added.

    Klum and Seal share Henry and Leni, as well as son Johan and daughter Lou. Klum and Seal split in 2012, and the model went on to re-marry Tom Kaulitz in 2019. Klum previously revealed that Kaulitz has a great relationship with her kids and even asked their blessing before proposing to their mom. “The sweetest thing that my partner has done for me is [ask] my kids first if he could ask for my hand,” she told People last year. “He was in cahoots with my kids. They figured out how they were going to do it and then they all surprised me on Christmas morning. I thought that was so nice that he involved my kids.”

  • Tottenham 3-0 Elfsborg: Mikey Moore seals win as Spurs reach Europa League last 16


    Tottenham overcame yet another injury setback to reach the last 16 of the Europa League as their new generation shone in a win over Elfsborg.

    Spurs, who were already without 12 players because of injury and ineligibility, lost substitute defender Radu Dragusin when he went down hurt in the second half with the game goalless.

    But substitute Dane Scarlett, 20, lifted the mood by heading the home side into a 70th-minute lead before 19-year-old fellow substitute Damola Ajayi made it 2-0.

    Seventeen-year-old winger Mikey Moore sealed victory with his first goal for the club in the fourth minute of stoppage time, a wonderful low finish after a powerful run.

    Spurs had struggled to find a way through the Swedish team’s stubborn defence in the first half.

    Moore went closest before half-time after clever play by Son Heung-min, but Isak Pettersson produced a reflex save to frustrate the home side.

    Elfsborg – playing their 16th game in the competition after starting in the first qualifying round – went close themselves through Jalal Abdullai in the second half before Scarlett set Spurs on their way.

    Spurs finish the league phase in fourth place with 17 points and can now concentrate on domestic matters until the last-16 stage in March after avoiding a play-off tie in February.

    Ange Postecoglou’s side will face one of Real Sociedad, Galatasaray, AZ Alkmaar or Midtjylland next in the competition.

    The last time Coco Gauff faced Donna Vekic with both players representing their respective nations, it was the Croat who scored an upset victory on her way to winning the silver medal at the Paris Olympics in August.

    But on Tuesday in Perth, there was no such surprise: Gauff was a comprehensive 6-4, 6-2 winner over Vekic to clinch the Americans’ second victory in as many round-robin ties at the season-opening United Cup. After quickly establishing a 4-1 lead to start the match, Gauff cooled off any hopes Vekic had for a comeback under the heat of the midday sun inside RAC Arena by winning eight of the last 11 games. The American emphatically rounded into form on serve in the second set, dropping just four points behind her delivery in all.

    “I’m really happy with how I played today,” Gauff said post-match. “She’s a great player, and the Olympics loss hurt, so I definitely was thinking about it today as motivation to do better.

    “The game I got broken, she played a great game. I have no regrets off that game … but I’m really happy with how I served today and how I competed throughout the whole match.”

    But the 1-hour and 29-minute victory was window dressing for Team USA as far as its immediate future prospects in the competition was concerned, as Taylor Fritz’s earlier 6-3, 6-2 win over Borna Coric already ensured that the 2023 United Cup champions qualified for the quarterfinals as Group A winners, where they will face China.

    Gauff and Fritz made it a clean sweep for the Americans by defeating Petra Marcinko and Ivan Dodig 6-2, 6-3 in mixed doubles. 

    The No.4 in the PIF ATP Rankings, Fritz had lost each of his four previous Lexus ATP Head2Head meetings with Coric, but called himself a “completely different player” than the one who had won just two sets previously in those matches.

    “It’s great to get that win, especially after the other day [where I was] a set and break up [against Auger-Aliassime],” Fritz, who improved to 6-3 all-time in United Cup singles matches, added.

    Coric, the former No. 12 in the PIF ATP Rankings, caused Fritz trouble in the early stages with the variety he was injecting into the contest. Yet the big-hitting American bided his time and carved out the only break point of the first set in a crucial seventh game, which he converted by inserting some variety of his own. A chipped return allowed himself into the point to force an error and serve out the opener.

    Fritz, the reigning US Open and Nitto ATP Finals runner-up, asserted his dominance in the second set. In the 2024 season, the 27-year-old held a 44-2 win-loss record when taking the first set, and appeared in no mood to let that run of form drop when he raced to a 4-0 lead with a double break.

    Coric forged a miraculous comeback win over Felix Auger-Aliassime on Saturday, and he started to ignite hope into the Croatian fans inside RAC Arena right at the death. With Fritz serving for the match, Coric carved out his first two break points of the match, but American swiftly responded to seal the 1-hour, 31-minute win.

    Taylor Fritz tied the bow Wednesday on a perfect start to 2025 for Team USA, which sealed its spot in the United Cup semi-finals.

    The No. 4 in the PIF ATP Rankings produced a serving clinic to defeat Zhang Zhizhen 6-4, 6-4 and move Team USA to an unassailable 2-0 lead against China in Perth. Fritz offered no let up throughout the one-hour, 19-minute match, during which he dropped just four points behind his serve.

    “Coco did such a good job putting us ahead and giving me the chance to come out and put us through,” said Fritz, who levelled the pair’s Lexus ATP Head2Head record at 1-1. “There was a little bit of pressure because I didn’t want to be the one who loses it for the team after Coco won all her matches this week. I played a really solid match. Really happy with it.

    “… I felt like I’ve gotten better with each of the matches I’ve played and this match tonight definitely felt like I was back in the flow of how things were feeling at the end of the year.”

    Fritz’s victory, his seventh at the event, backed up Coco Gauff’s straight-sets triumph over Zhang Shuai. Champions of the United Cup two years ago, USA has joined Kazakhstan on the cross-country flight to compete in the semi-finals in Sydney, where it will face Italy or Czechia.

     

    It wasn’t just Fritz’s vastly improved serve that was causing Fritz damage. The reigning US Open and Nitto ATP Finals runner-up carved out nine break points with his relentless ballstriking, converting on two occasions to seal a comprehensive quarter-final tie in USA’s favour.

    “Towards the end of last year I made a lot of improvements to my game and I started to believe in the average level I felt I could produce every day was enough to beat a lot of the higher-ranked guys who before I thought I had to play incredible to beat,” Fritz said.

    Earlier, World No.3 Gauff was made to work by China’s Zhang Shuai but the 20-year-old American prevailed 7-6(4), 6-2 to give USA an early lead.

    “Against Shuai, I had to hit an ace to win the point,” Gauff said. “She was playing amazing tennis out there. Dennis [Kudla] was saying I digged it out and that’s what it felt like. I was literally on the ground for most of the match.”

    “The harder I hit, the harder she was hitting,” Gauff said. “I felt like I couldn’t get her on defense. She was playing so aggressive on me and I felt like I had to go more on my second serves, which brought in more double faults, but if I just put it in it was a return winner. So I had to take my chances.”

    Gauff extended her perfect United Cup debut with a gritty effort in the first set to come from a break down three times to upend Zhang’s inspired play. The 35-year-old veteran stepped into singles after China’s surprise hero during the group stage, Gao Xinyu, was forced to stand down due to injury.

    With her flat groundstrokes and aggressive baseline positioning, Zhang kept Gauff pinned behind the baseline with her depth of shot. She confidently broke Gauff in the first game of the match but, as would be her undoing in the opening set, failed to consolidate her break. Zhang broke Gauff three ties in the opening set, but was broken back each time, including as she served for the set at 6-5.

    Having reeled Zhang in, Gauff played an outstanding tiebreak to seal the set after 59 minutes, striking a perfect lob winner to set up her set points. Gauff took her momentum into the second set, racing out to a 3-0 lead and protecting her serve to close out the hard-fought win after 1 hour and 34 minutes. With the victory, Gauff improved her record against Zhang to 3-0.

    In her third appearance in the USA United Cup team, Desirae Krawczyk teamed up with debutant Robert Galloway to play her first match in the event. The American duo overcame Zhang and Sun Fajing 6-3, 6-7(1), 10-3 to make it a 3-0 sweep in the quarter-final tie before they head to Sydney.
