  • WWE’s Logan Paul Set To Star In Reality Show On The Same Service That Streams AEW

Earlier this week, Logan Paul sent out a cryptic graphic of himself and his brother Jake (via X) alongside the caption “The moment you’ve waited a decade for… March 27 on [MAX].” Naturally, many fans assumed this post to be an indicator of an upcoming fight between the brothers. As revealed in a Warner Bros. Discovery press release, it was rather a teaser for a new reality series.

The series, titled “Paul American,” will be a MAX original, with its premiere date set for Thursday, March 27. From there, the weekly series will chronicle the lives of Logan and Jake Paul across eight episodes up until its series finale, which is penciled in for May 15. Footage will show a mix of never-before-seen and archival content.

“Everyone thinks they know Jake and Logan Paul – they’re the original superstars of influencer culture and built their brand on being unfiltered. But PAUL AMERICAN goes deeper,” said Nina Rosenstein, Executive Vice President of HBO Programming. “This show uncovers a side of their relationships we’ve never seen, as brothers, sons, partners, as well as Logan’s transition into fatherhood. It’s a raw and unexpected look into their world.”

Initially rising to fame on social media, both Logan and Jake have since expanded their brands to the sports world as well, with Jake venturing into professional boxing. Logan did the same while also joining professional wrestling as a WWE Superstar. In WWE, Logan has notably won the United States Championship; he’s challenged for a world title on multiple occasions as well.

In addition to “Paul American,” MAX is a home to All Elite Wrestling’s weekly shows, “AEW Dynamite” and “AEW Collision,” which simulcast on the streaming platform as well as TBS and TNT, respectively. AEW and WWE have been rival companies since the former’s launching in 2019.

Logan Paul, the controversial YouTuber turned WWE star, is set to star in his own reality show on the same streaming service that airs rival wrestling promotion AEW.

The news comes as a surprise to many fans, as Paul has been a polarizing figure in the wrestling world since his debut in WWE earlier this year. However, it seems that the streaming service is willing to take a chance on the social media star and capitalize on his popularity.

The show is said to follow Paul’s life both inside and outside the wrestling ring, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at the man behind the persona. It will also feature appearances from other WWE superstars, as well as some surprise guests from the world of entertainment.

While some fans are excited to see more of Paul, others are skeptical about the show and how it will affect his wrestling career. Only time will tell if this venture will be a success for the controversial star.

Stay tuned for more updates on Logan Paul’s reality show and how it will impact the wrestling world.

A photo shared by The Sun appears to show Madonna on the stage in front of the establishment’s iconic brick wall. Per the outlet, a source said the artist’s set was 30 minutes long and that “she didn’t do as well as you’d think she would, she got laughs every time she dropped F-bomb, because just hearing Madonna curse is funny.”

The source also said, “She also nailed a joke about how with all of these Trump deportations she’s not going to have any staff left, which got some laughs, but really everyone was just so shocked she was there.” Oh, yikes.

On Tuesday, Madonna criticized President Donald Trump and his administration, slamming the president over his controversial executive orders issued during his first days in office. “It’s so sad to watch our new Government slowly dismantling all the Freedoms we have been fighting for and WON over the years,” the singer wrote on X, next to along with an emoji of a Pride flag and a broken heart. “Don’t give up the Fight!”

Back in November, Madonna also took to social media to express her anger after Trump defeated Kamala Harris in the presidential election. “Trying to get my head around why a convicted felon, rapist, bigot was chosen to lead our country because he’s good for the economy?,” she said in an Instagram story at the time. Madonna also posted a photo of a cake with icing that read, “Fuck Trump.”

  • Sepp Straka, contenders set to face rainy, gusty weather conditions at Pebble Beach

Sepp Straka escaped much of the nasty weather on Friday at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

He likely won’t be so lucky on Saturday.

Straka fired a second straight 7-under 65, this time at Pebble Beach Golf Links, to take a three-shot lead. Straka benefitted from about 14 holes in little to no wind, while other challengers, including Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler, teed off later and spent more time in the tougher conditions.

Now, though, McIlroy and Scheffler are on the better end of the draw. While tournament officials will send the field off split tees and in threesomes, Straka will still tee off at 1:35 p.m. local time, nearly two and a half hours after the first group.

According to the PGA Tour’s official weather bulletin, winds are expected to ramp up around noon, with 14-20 mph sustained and 28 mph gusts forecasted through at least 2 p.m. The 4 p.m. forecast calls for 10-16 mph sustained and 25 mph gusts. There is a 60% chance of rain at noon and 2 p.m., while temperatures are not expected to get into the 60s.

“Just kind of accepting bad shots, that’s where the patience comes in,” said Straka, who also is battling the lingering effects of the flu. “You’re going to get the wind wrong every now and then if it gusts up, and these greens are tiny, so small mistakes can have a big outcome.”

Some players in early groups have already started to make moves, too, including Scheffler, who was 3 under through five holes and 10 under overall, four back of Straka, before Straka teed off.

As the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am gets underway, players like Sepp Straka and other contenders are gearing up to face some challenging weather conditions. The forecast calls for rainy and gusty weather throughout the tournament, adding an extra layer of difficulty to an already tough course.

Sepp Straka, coming off a strong performance at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, will need to rely on his skill and mental toughness to navigate the wet and windy conditions at Pebble Beach. With his accurate ball-striking and solid putting, Straka has the game to contend no matter what the weather throws at him.

Other top contenders, including past champions and major winners, will also be looking to embrace the adverse conditions and use them to their advantage. The unpredictable nature of the weather at Pebble Beach can lead to exciting and unexpected outcomes, making for an exciting tournament for fans to watch.

As players like Sepp Straka and others prepare to battle the elements, they will need to stay focused, patient, and adaptable in order to come out on top. The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am promises to be a true test of skill and resilience, with the weather adding an extra element of drama to an already prestigious event. Stay tuned to see how the players handle the rainy, gusty conditions and who will emerge victorious in the end.

  • Atalanta confirm signing of Daniel Maldini with Milan set to receive €7m

Daniel Maldini has, today, joined Atalanta on a permanent move from Monza, and AC Milan will pocket half of the transfer fee due to a clause.

Atalanta have had a keen interest in Maldini’s progression with Monza since joining the club permanently six months ago, and in December, there were suggestions that the club could look to make a move in the January window.

In the past few days, the likelihood of that deal has increased substantially, and now, the move has been made official by La Dea this afternoon.

It has been heavily reported that the Rossoneri would pocket 50% of any move for the youngster, so they will be happy to be given a cash injection from the move. However, if Maldini follows a similar path to Charles De Ketelaere in Bergamo, a feeling of regret could rise quite quickly. Especially with the club looking for another Trequartista in the mercato.

However, the Rossoneri did not act on any reported interest they held, so it may sit as a feeling of what if.

Considering how the club lost out on a fortune from the Champions League, the additional funds will be welcomed with open arms, especially considering the club are looking to be active themselves, even after the addition of Santiago Gimenez.

Atalanta confirm signing of Daniel Maldini with Milan set to receive €7m

Atalanta has officially announced the signing of Daniel Maldini from AC Milan, with the Rossoneri set to receive €7m for the talented young midfielder.

Maldini, the son of AC Milan legend Paolo Maldini, has been a highly sought-after prospect in Italian football and Atalanta has beaten out several other clubs to secure his services.

The 20-year-old midfielder has shown great promise during his time with Milan’s youth teams and is now ready to make the step up to senior football with Atalanta.

Milan will receive a substantial fee for Maldini’s transfer, which will help the club reinvest in new players and continue to strengthen their squad.

Atalanta fans are excited to see what Maldini can bring to their team and are hopeful that he can help lead them to success in the upcoming season.

Overall, this is a positive move for all parties involved and sets the stage for an exciting new chapter in Maldini’s career.

  • Democrats set to pick new chair as party grapples with Trump’s flurry of actions

    CNN
     —

Democrats will choose their next national party chair and leadership team Saturday, closing out a monthslong debate over who is best suited to help the party rebrand and guide it through the next four years of the Trump administration.

Three candidates have emerged as top contenders to lead the Democratic National Committee: Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party chair Ken Martin, Wisconsin Democratic Party chair Ben Wikler and former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley.

The election of new party leaders comes as Democrats have grappled with the most effective way to challenge the torrent of action spurred by the Trump White House, which just this week included the president blaming diversity initiatives for a deadly DC plane collision, a federal funding freeze that was rescinded in less than 48 hours amid widespread backlash, and confirmation hearings for three controversial Cabinet nominees.

Those seeking the party’s top job signaled that, without a national leader, Democrats had not addressed what some called the “chaos” of the last several days with enough force. During their final candidate forum Friday, chair hopefuls were asked to raise their hands if they felt the Democratic Party had responded “sufficiently” to the first nearly two weeks of Trump’s second term. Most candidates – including Martin, Wikler and O’Malley – kept their hands down.

“Right now, our party frankly feels listless. It feels like there’s nobody at the helm,” said David Hogg, a gun control activist running for a DNC at-large vice chair position. “We need leadership, we need a vision for the pathway forward, and that’s one of the most important parts about these elections.”

In addition to choosing the next chair, DNC members will elect seven additional officers: a vice chair for civic engagement and voter participation; a treasurer; a secretary; a national finance chair; and three at-large vice chairs.

To win, a candidate will need a majority of votes cast. There are 450 voting members of the DNC, but the final number needed to win will depend on attendance.

In the days leading up to the election, the three frontrunners released dozens of endorsements from key Democrats, only some of whom are able to vote in the election.

Soon after Martin announced he’d been backed by South Carolina Rep. Jim Clyburn, whose endorsement helped former President Joe Biden win the 2020 Democratic primary, Wikler announced he had the support of Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries.

One key Democrat is likely to stay out of the race: former Vice President Kamala Harris. Though the party has spent weeks debating what went wrong during her 2024 presidential campaign, Harris is not expected to endorse a candidate in the race, according to a source familiar.

Harris spoke on the phone this week with the three leading candidates in the race, a person familiar with the discussions told CNN. In the calls, which each lasted about 15 to 20 minutes, the candidates discussed their visions for the party and expressed their gratitude to Harris for her candidacy and commitment to stay involved with the party’s efforts going forward. The former vice president pledged to work closely with the winning candidate as soon as they’re elected, the source said.

Without a Democratic president in the White House, leadership of the party will be fractured over the next four years. And with Democrats in the minority in both the House and Senate, much of the focus on Capitol Hill will be aimed at blocking Trump’s agenda rather than advancing the party’s policy priorities.

The next chair will be tasked with helping guide the party forward as it looks to rebound from stinging losses last November. In addition to fundraising and messaging, the chair will also help steer the 2028 nominating process and create a campaign-in-waiting for the eventual Democratic nominee.

They will also need to unite the committee and address several internal issues, including anger over a wave of layoffs last year, demands for increased transparency around budgets and spending, and frustration with campaign consultants.

State party leaders, particularly in non-battleground states, have pushed chair candidates to vow to invest more in their states and rank-and-file members have called for a more democratized process to access exclusive committees made up of appointees.

“I have never attended a DNC meeting where I left and said, ‘Huh, I learned something,’” Stephanie Campanha Wheaton, one of the Young Democrats of America’s DNC members and a Martin supporter, told CNN. “You show up and you are a pawn, and you nod your head yes to everything that has already been decided upon in committees that you don’t know how people got on.”

At the heart of the leadership elections is a desire to make sense of the party’s 2024 losses and chart a path out of political obscurity. In more than a dozen forums – from the four party-run events to several held by outside groups and voting blocs within the DNC – questions have focused on how to win back young men and working class voters, how to fight disinformation, and how to make better use of the millions for dollars flowing into the party.

“It’s a sign of a healthy party to actually question each other, debate each other, think about the path forward,” said Tory Gavito, a Wikler backer and the president of Way to Win, a women-led donor coalition that co-hosted a DNC forum with the Texas Democratic Party. “And in this debating, the goal is to win.”

Martin, a DNC vice chair who leads the Association of State Democratic Committees and has chaired his state party since 2011, entered the race first and was an early frontrunner thanks to his yearslong relationships with the leaders of various state parties and other DNC members

Joe Salas, a California DNC member backing Martin, said he believed the Minnesota chair understands the important role of local committees. On a personal level, he said Martin was the only high-ranking DNC leader to send him a congratulatory card welcoming him to the DNC when he was elected last year.

“It goes to his point about organizing year-round: you can’t come to somebody a couple of months before an election and ask them to do something,” Salas said. “You have to make deposits before you make withdrawals.”

Wikler experienced a late surge in support fueled by key endorsements from a group of Democratic governors – including DNC voting members Laura Kelly of Kansas, Andy Beshear of Kentucky, Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan and Michelle Lujan Grisham of New Mexico – and four large public sector unions, who issued a joint statement.

Many of the DNC voters endorsing him have pointed to his track record in Wisconsin since becoming chair in 2019, including winning a liberal majority on the state Supreme Court that paved the way for more competitive legislative maps.

“We felt like Ben Wikler was the one who could build worker power and expand the party’s base,” said Randi Weingarten, the president of the American Federation of Teachers, of the joint union endorsement.

In addition to AFT, Wikler was backed by the leaders of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, National Education Association and Service Employees International Union. Other unions have split their support among the leading candidates.

O’Malley, meanwhile, has picked up public support from a handful of DNC members and high-profile Democrats such as Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine. His critiques of Martin and Wikler have also become more pointed.

The former governor ribbed Wikler for declining to preemptively release a list of donors to his chair campaign ahead of a Friday night FEC deadline and suggested Martin’s support is not as strong as it seems during a gaggle with reporters after a candidate forum Thursday.

“When the totally inevitable front runner, who’s been working at it for five years, shows himself not to be totally inevitable, I think it opens up for a larger debate,” O’Malley said.

Ahead of the vote for chair, no candidate appeared to have enough support to win on the first ballot. Several DNC members said they expect the race will move to additional rounds of voting.

One DNC member who asked not to be named to speak freely, said they believed that support for Wikler and Martin could shift if neither wins on the first ballot.

“If it goes to a second ballot, it could be a complete shake-up,” the DNC member said.

As of Friday, the three leading candidates were claiming to have levels of support that, if added together, would far surpass the number of actual voting members. Wikler’s campaign said he had 183 endorsements and O’Malley’s said he had 137 endorsements, though most of their names have remained private. Martin had released the names of about 200 backers by Friday evening, dozens more than his competitors have made public.

“In the end, we’re going to find out on the first ballot who’s being on the up and up,” another DNC voter said. “Let’s be honest – if a candidate says they’ve got X votes and they come in 20, 30% less than that, the rest of their voters are going to wonder: Were they being sold a bill of goods on how strong their candidacy was?”

The Democratic Party is gearing up to select a new chair as they navigate through the challenges posed by President Trump’s rapid-fire actions. With the new administration making sweeping changes on a daily basis, the Democrats are under pressure to regroup and strategize for the future.

The upcoming leadership election will be crucial for the party as they seek to unify their base and mobilize against the Trump agenda. The new chair will have the daunting task of leading the party in a highly polarized political climate, where every move is scrutinized and contested.

As the Democrats prepare to select their new leader, they must also focus on building a strong grassroots movement and reaching out to disaffected voters. The party’s response to Trump’s actions will be closely watched, and the new chair will play a key role in shaping the party’s message and strategy.

The stakes are high for the Democratic Party, and the upcoming leadership election will set the tone for their future direction. As they navigate through the challenges posed by the Trump administration, the Democrats must come together and present a united front to effectively counter the president’s policies and actions.

  • Nottingham Forest remain without Callum Hudson-Odoi, Ibrahim Sangare set for to return

Nottingham Forest will continue to be without Callum Hudson-Odoi when they face Brighton & Hove Albion at the City Ground on Saturday.

Nuno Espirito Santo says that long-term absentee Ibrahim Sangare, meanwhile, will be available for the game.

Winger Hudson-Odoi has failed to overcome a groin problem sustained in the 3-2 win over Southampton, which ensured he was sidelined for last weekend’s defeat at Bournemouth.

Forest will continue to monitor his injury in the hope that he will recover for either the trip to Exeter City in the FA Cup next Tuesday or, more likely, the Premier League game at Fulham beyond that.

“Callum is out. He is not going to be involved in the game. It is a big absence for us,” said Nuno in his pre-match press conference ahead of the Brighton game. “We are still assessing. It is something we hope to improve soon but he is not going to be available for this game.”

Sangare is in contention to return for Forest (Mike Egerton/PA Images via Getty Images)

Jota was handed a rare start at Bournemouth in Hudson-Odoi’s absence at Bournemouth, with Anthony Elanga shifted over to the left side, instead of his normal role on the right.

But while Nuno will again have to find a solution without Hudson-Odoi, he will have more options in midfield, with Sangare (hamstring) and Danilo (broken leg) both having been fully rehabilitated and now considered ready to start, if called upon.

Sangare has trained with the squad for the last two weeks without issue having been out since September, while Danilo has already made his first team return as a substitute in the FA Cup against Luton recently.

“Ibrahim and Danilo are ready; they joined the squad,” said Nuno, who is hoping for an improvement following the 5-0 defeat on the south coast.

“We have to perform much better. We have to be more solid and play better football. We were not accurate and missed a lot of passes last weekend. We have so many things to improve. We have a big challenge ahead of us because Brighton are a very good team.”

Nottingham Forest fans will have to wait a little longer to see Callum Hudson-Odoi in action, as the Chelsea loanee continues to recover from injury. However, there is good news on the horizon as midfielder Ibrahim Sangare is set to make his return to the squad.

Hudson-Odoi, who joined Forest on loan in the January transfer window, has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since his arrival at the club. The talented winger is making progress in his recovery, but is still not ready to make his debut for the Reds.

On the other hand, Sangare is set to return to action after missing the last few games due to a minor knock. The Ivorian midfielder has been a key player for Forest this season and his return will be a welcome boost for manager Steve Cooper.

With Sangare back in the squad, Forest will be hoping to continue their impressive form and push for a promotion spot in the Championship. Fans will be eagerly anticipating his return to the starting lineup and the impact he can make on the team.

Stay tuned for updates on Hudson-Odoi’s recovery and Sangare’s return as Nottingham Forest look to make a push for promotion this season.

  • Hamas and Israel Set to Exchange More Hostages for Prisoners: Live Updates

They became a potent symbol of Israel’s hostage crisis after video from the Hamas-led 2023 attack showed Palestinian militants leading away a distraught mother clutching her two small red-haired sons. Another video showed the father of the same family being spirited away to Gaza on a motorcycle, his head bloodied.

On Friday, Hamas said the 35-year-old father, Yarden Bibas, will be one of three male hostages to be freed on Saturday.

Israelis are still anxiously awaiting word of his wife, Shiri, and their two children, Ariel, now 5, and Kfir, who was 9 months old at the time of his capture — the youngest hostage taken into Gaza. Last week, Daniel Hagari, an Israeli military spokesman, seemed to brace the public for the likelihood that they would not come out alive, saying the military was “gravely concerned” for the mother and children.

Hamas claimed last year that Ms. Bibas and her children had been killed by an Israeli airstrike, but Israeli officials have never confirmed that. Several hostages were killed in Gaza by Israeli forces, accidentally shot or possibly as a result of Israeli airstrikes. The military has also said some civilian hostages may have been killed by Israeli forces as they were being kidnapped on the day of the Oct. 7 attack.

The Bibas family has been through “a twisted reality from hell,” a relative, Yifat Zailer, said in an interview last year.

The family of four were among more than 180 residents of kibbutz Nir Oz, a farming community in southern Israel, who were killed or abducted in the Oct. 7 attack. Since then, the family became the faces of a national trauma that sparked a fierce Israeli war in Gaza aimed at eradicating Hamas, an onslaught that has killed more than 47,000 Palestinians, according to Gaza health officials, who do not distinguish between combatants and civilians.

More than 1,750 people in Israel have been killed in the war, about 1,200 of them on the day of the Oct. 7 attack, according to Israeli officials. The toll includes more than 890 members of the Israeli military forces.

Throughout more than a year of waiting, hostage families and their supporters have carried orange balloons and worn orange shirts in honor of the missing children and their ginger-colored hair. They have held large events to mark the first two birthdays of Kfir, who has never celebrated one out of captivity.

All other children seized in the Oct. 7 attack were released in a previous cease-fire deal.

Israeli officials pressed Hamas negotiators in recent days for more clarity on Ms. Bibas and her children, according to Israeli media. As a female civilian with children, they were expected to be released in the initial stages of the cease-fire deal, before soldiers or men, if they were alive.

Mr. Bibas was abducted separately from his family.

In the early morning hours before his capture, he texted his sister, Ofri Bibas-Levy, to tell her about incoming rocket fire, according to an interview she gave to Kan, the Israeli public broadcaster. Later, he texted her that militants had entered the camp. He had a gun, he told her, but the militants had automatic rifles.

He then described scenes of clashes on the kibbutz and his fear that his two young sons would not be able to keep quiet.

“It feels like the end,” he wrote her at 9:10 in the morning.

Video from the Oct. 7 attack on Nir Oz revealed images of militants drilling open the Bibas family’s front door.

Sometime before her brother was captured, Ms. Bibas-Levy told Kan, he texted her and their parents that he loved them. At 9:45 in the morning, he wrote: “They’re in.”

Ms. Bibas-Levy told Kan that the first she learned of her brother’s Oct. 7 kidnapping when she saw a video of militants abducting him a few days later.

In November 2023, not long after Hamas said Ms. Bibas and her children were killed by Israeli bombing, the group released a video of Mr. Bibas being told his wife and children had been killed, as he broke down crying.

Images of the Bibas family have been seared into the Israeli psyche throughout the crisis. They were on the front page of one of the country’s most popular daily newspapers, Yedioth Ahronoth, under the headline “A Mother and Two Small Souls, Led Into the Darkness.”

And across the country, graffiti depicting the family has appeared on the streets. Some show baby Kfir holding a pink elephant, as in the photo used for his hostage poster. Others show an imagined reunion of the Bibas family, lighting a Hanukkah menorah.

“I know they became a symbol,” Ms. Bibas-Levy said in a tearful news conference last February. “But for us, it’s our family, and we want them back.”

Johnatan Reiss and Matthew Mpoke Bigg contributed reporting.
