South Carolina QB target Jared Curtis of Nashville added an official visit to Auburn May 16th. He has Oregon, Georgia and USC down for officials in June. South Carolina coach Shane Beamer and QB/OC coach Mike Shule had an in-home visit with QB Jared Curtis in Nashville Thursday. Curtis is one of at least two quarterback the Gamecocks are heavily pursuing for the 2026 class. Auburn coach Hugh Freeze also made an-in home visit on Thursday. Curtis has also had in home visits this week with Florida State, Ohio State and North Carolina. Last week Georgia and Alabama met with him. Curtis has scheduled official visits to Oregon June 6th, Georgia June 13th and USC June 02th. He’s a former Georgia commitment.

Raviv Sets New Career-High as Bobcats Down Saints
HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac women’s basketball team returned home on Saturday as they defeated the Siena Saints 77-74 in Hamden.
Gal Raviv set a new career-high 32 points on 52.9% (9-17) shooting from the floor. Raviv stuffed the stat sheet, recording eight assists, seven rebounds, and one steal. Anna Foley and Grace LaBarge each reached double-digits, scoring 14 and 12, respectively. Seven different Bobcats pitched into the scoring effort to earn the season sweep over the Saints.
The Bobcats and Saints traded points early on in this matchup as the two teams were even at 14 points apiece after the opening ten minutes.
The second quarter started the same way the first one ended. Quinnipiac was able to pull away from the Saints as a layup from Anna Foley stretched their lead to eight. After QU took a 40-33 lead with eight seconds left in the half, Siena’s Myriam Traore knocked down a half-court buzzer beater to make it a four-point game at the half.
Siena tied the game up early in the third quarter, but the Bobcats responded as their lead stretched back up to eight at the end of the third quarter.
Quinnipiac would not allow Siena within five for much of the final quarter, but the Saints made it close at the end, knocking down a three with 0.2 seconds left on the clock. QU got a clean inbound to seal the 77-74 victory over the Saints.

MONTPELLIER, France — Montreal’s Félix Auger-Aliassime advanced to the semifinals of the Open Occitanie tennis tournament with a 6-3, 6-4 win over China’s Bu Yunchaokete on Friday.
Auger-Aliassime, the second seed in Montpellier, reached the semifinals of the ATP 250 indoor hardcourt event for the second straight year.
He joined Jannik Sinner (33) and Carlos Alcaraz (31) as the only players born since 2000 to reach 30 tour-level semifinals.
Auger-Aliassime converted 86 per cent of first service points and fired 11 aces to pick up his 51st career indoor hardcourt win.
The 24-year-old Canadian, who won his sixth ATP Tour title at the Adelaide International earlier this month, improved to 8-2 this season.
Auger-Aliassime will next face Jesper de Jong of the Netherlands in Saturday’s semifinals.
“My game is more disciplined,” Auger-Aliassime said of his success this year. “I feel like last year I had some brilliant shots but also moments where I made a lot of mistakes. But now, two straight-sets wins, (I am)] more solid and I am happy with that because that’s the goal. Hopefully, I go one more step and get to the finals on Sunday.”

Taylor Swift sets new record for album sales with vinyl reissue
Taylor Swift‘s 2023 album Lover: Live From Paris was recently reissued on vinyl, leading to it reentering the Billboard Top 200 at #2. It also let Taylor snatch a new chart record.
The album debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart, which ranks albums based on traditional album sales, as opposed to streaming or downloading. That marks her 15th chart-topper on that tally, which means she passes Jay-Z for the most number ones on that chart. The rapper scored 14 number ones on that tally, which has existed for 33 years, between 1998 and 2017.
The original version of Lover: Live From Paris came out as a limited-edition heart-shaped vinyl record that was only available through Taylor’s online store. At the time, it peaked at #58 on the Billboard 200 and #5 on the Top Album Sales chart. It was recorded in September 2019 in Paris and was the last live show she performed before the Eras Tour started in 2023.

The cast includes writer, director and producer Tyler Perry, Cassi Davis Patton, David Mann, Tamela Mann, Taja V. Simpson, Diamond White, Jermaine Harris and Xavier Smalls. Angi Bones and Yolanda T. Cochran also produce.
