Ticketmaster is set to pay $6 million in a Canadian class action lawsuit regarding ‘drip pricing’ practices.

Ticketmaster has settled a class action lawsuit in Canada regarding its “drip pricing” practices, for which it must pay out $6 million CAD. The settlement will be split between those signed on to the class action and was finalized last week in a Saskatchewan court.

The lawsuit sparked from claims that Ticketmaster hid the prices of ticket fees in 2018, breaching the Consumer Protection and Business Practices Act. Allegations included that unnecessary fees outside the regular ticket price were added deceptively at check-out. Ticketmaster, while refusing to admit to any wrongdoing, agreed to settle.

According to the settlement, affected customers are eligible to receive up to $45 in Ticketmaster credit, which can be used toward future ticket purchases. Eligible customers — those who purchased tickets in Canada between January 1, 2018 and June 30, 2018 — should soon see an email communication from the company with a link to receive their credit.

Estimates indicate up to 100,000 individuals in Saskatchewan and potentially over a million across Canada could qualify for credits. Eligible customers will receive their credits through electronic gift cards. These are transferrable, but cannot exceed $45.

“While this case does not involve a mega-settlement, it has proved to be a legitimate consumer protection lawsuit which could only have been viably prosecuted as a class action,” wrote Justice Graeme Mitchell, of Regina, Saskatchewan’s Court of King’s Bench. “Class counsel deserve an economic incentive for pursuing this claim to its successful resolution.”

Attorneys will receive $1.7 million, or more than a quarter, of the settlement fund. Lead plaintiff Crystal Watch will receive $25,000.

Once the distribution process is completed, any remaining funds from the settlement will be rerouted to organizations chosen by Ticketmaster and the plaintiff, pending final approval from the courts.

This is far from the first time Ticketmaster has faced scrutiny over misleading pricing in Canada alone. In 2019, the Competition Bureau of Canada imposed a $4 million fine on the company over similar accusations, determining advertised prices were misleading due to mandatory fees added late in the transaction. “Canadians should be able to trust the prices advertised are the ones they will pay when purchasing tickets online,” said Commissioner Matthew Boswell.

Ticketmaster, the popular ticketing company, has recently settled a class-action lawsuit in Canada. The lawsuit, which was filed on behalf of consumers who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster, alleged that the company was charging excessive fees and deceiving customers with its pricing practices.

The settlement, which is still pending court approval, will see Ticketmaster pay out $4.5 million to Canadian consumers who purchased tickets between 2007 and 2018. In addition to the monetary settlement, Ticketmaster has also agreed to make changes to its pricing practices in Canada, including providing more transparency around fees and charges.

This settlement serves as a victory for consumers who have long been frustrated by Ticketmaster’s pricing practices. It also highlights the importance of holding companies accountable for their actions and ensuring that consumers are treated fairly.

Overall, this settlement is a positive step towards improving transparency and fairness in the ticketing industry in Canada. Ticketmaster’s willingness to settle and make changes to its practices is a promising sign for consumers moving forward.

  • CenterPoint settles rate case, lowering energy bills for Houston-area customers

Rate cases happen every four years. This allows regulators to evaluate utility pricing.

HOUSTON — CenterPoint Energy has reached a settlement in its 2024 rate case that will lead to lower electric bills for Houston-area customers.

Pending approval by the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT), the agreement will reduce CenterPoint’s revenue by about $50 million annually through 2029, lowering monthly residential bills by approximately $1, or 2% for customers using 1,000 kWh per month.

Small businesses will see a reduction of about $1.28 per month.

Rate cases happen every four years. This allows regulators to evaluate utility pricing.

In a news release, Jason Ryan, CenterPoint’s Executive VP of Regulatory Services and Government Affairs, emphasized the company’s commitment to affordability and reliability.

“Our settle agreement with these parties would reduce the amount of revenue that CenterPoint receives, and customer bills would decrease, while also addressing the significant investments we have made to strengthen our system for the benefit of our customers,” Ryan said. “Following customer feedback and constructive discussions with intervening parties over the last several months, this plan keeps our customers at the forefront and supports CenterPoint’s ultimate goal of building the most resilient coastal grid in the country.”

In August 2024, CenterPoint temporarily withdrew from its rate case following Hurricane Beryl to focus on the company’s “Greater Houston Resiliency Initiative.”

CenterPoint said its 2024 rate case is intended to support capital investments the company has made to expand and improve the Greater Houston area’s electric system.

Since 2019, CenterPoint said it has invested approximately $8 billion in the grid, including:

    • Installing 2,200 miles of new distribution lines and over 100 miles of new transmission lines.
    • Building six new distribution substations and two new transmission substations.
    • Elevating 11 substations to prevent flood damage.
    • Deploying 437 Intelligent Grid Switching Devices, reducing outages by over 80 million minutes in 2023.

These investments complement the company’s ongoing resiliency initiatives to improve grid performance and emergency response capabilities.

Along with the settlement, CenterPoint proposed relocating 15 emergency power generation units to San Antonio for two years to support the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) during a projected energy shortfall in the summer of 2025.

The company will not profit from this initiative, and Houston-area customers will not be charged for related costs during this period. CenterPoint said this proposal, if approved, would ultimately contribute to lower electric bills across the Greater Houston area.

CenterPoint Energy recently settled a rate case with the Texas Public Utility Commission, resulting in a lower energy bill for Houston-area customers. This settlement will bring relief to residents who have been struggling with high energy costs.

Thanks to this agreement, CenterPoint customers can expect to see a decrease in their energy bills in the coming months. The company has committed to passing along the savings from the settlement to its customers, providing much-needed financial relief during these challenging times.

This news is a welcome development for Houston-area residents who have been feeling the strain of high energy costs. With this settlement, CenterPoint customers can look forward to more affordable energy bills and greater peace of mind.

Overall, this settlement is a positive outcome for Houston-area customers and a step in the right direction towards more affordable energy prices. It’s a win for consumers and a testament to the power of advocacy and collaboration in the energy industry.

  • Pepi settles thriller for PSV Eindhoven but Liverpool hold on to top spot | Champions League

Liverpool lost their 100% record in the Champions League but you suspect Arne Slot will be over the disappointment before the team’s flight lands back on Merseyside. PSV Eindhoven secured the victory they needed to guarantee a playoff place with a rousing comeback against a youthful Liverpool side, who had debutant Amara Nallo sent off four minutes after his introduction.

Nallo’s misfortune – the 18-year-old defender looked distraught after receiving a straight red for denying Johan Bakayoko a clear goalscoring opportunity – tainted an encouraging display from Liverpool’s youngsters. But Slot’s side retained top spot in the table regardless of defeat. And, as the Liverpool head coach admitted beforehand, the final placing hardly matters when his team are guaranteed to face the 15th, 16th, 17th or 18th placed side in the last 16.

Former PSV favourite Cody Gakpo and Andy Robertson were the only players retained from Saturday’s starting lineup against Ipswich. Liverpool had earned the right to rest regulars ahead of the weekend trip to Bournemouth, a key game that Slot admitted was on his mind when planning for PSV, although Darwin Núñez was an enforced absentee after falling ill on the day of the game. His place in attack went to Jayden Danns, who became the youngest player to make his full debut for Liverpool in a European Cup/Champions League fixture aged 19 years and 13 days.

It is testament to the work being done from academy to senior level at Liverpool that Slot’s makeshift, youthful side were still recognisable in style. Danns and James McConnell both impressed in a rollercoaster of a first half although it was an old head in the centre of defence who influenced the visitors’ assured start. Robertson took Virgil van Dijk’s position and captain’s armband for the night. He must have taken distribution tips from Van Dijk too as he dropped a series of pinpoint deliveries behind the PSV defence.

Conor Bradley and Gakpo both almost capitalised on long Robertson passes before the Scotland captain sprayed another fine ball to Federico Chiesa on the right wing. Mauro Júnior regained possession and gave it to Joey Veerman to complete the clearance. The PSV midfielder was far too casual, however, and took a heavy first touch inside his penalty area that invited Chiesa to intercept. Veerman’s second touch wiped out the Italy international, who required lengthy treatment, and resulted in a clear penalty. Gakpo sent Walter Benítez the wrong way from the spot and raised his hands in apology to his former club. The contest had lift off.

The hosts hit back for the first time with an exquisite goal from Bakayoko. Released into the Liverpool area by a deft touch from striker Ricardo Pepi, the winger put both Robertson and Jarell Quansah on their backsides with a dummy and curled an unstoppable finish inside Caoimhín Kelleher’s right-hand post.

Liverpool retook the lead five minutes later when Gakpo turned Wataru Endo’s long ball into the path of Chiesa, whose low drive was parried into the path of Harvey Elliott by Benítez. The midfielder, who scored the winner against Lille last week, made no mistake from close range.

Back came PSV against a vulnerable Liverpool defence and an exposed Bradley at right back. The visitors wanted a foul when Endo was dispossessed by Tygo Land in central midfield. Referee Tobias Stieler was not interested and Veerman released Ismael Saibari inside the box with a perfectly-weighted pass. The left winger lashed an unstoppable shot into the roof of Kelleher’s net.

PSV profited down their left again to take the lead in the sixth minute of first-half stoppage time. Mauro Júnior broke into the area and played a low cross towards Pepi. The delivery deflected off Bradley, diverting it away from both the striker and Robertson, and sailed inside the far corner.

PSV came into the game with a chance of finishing in the top eight, the playoff places or the elimination zone. The fightback underlined that the occasion was of greater importance to Peter Bosz’s team.

Gakpo was given a rousing reception from all four sides of the Philips Stadion when he was replaced by Tyler Morton early in the second half.

With Slot introducing more young talent and PSV seemingly content to protect their advantage, the game unsurprisingly petered out following the late first-half flurry. Morton made a superb block to prevent Pepi adding a fourth from a PSV counterattack and also tested Benítez from distance. That was a rare threat from Liverpool in the second half. Their task became even more difficult when Nallo accidentally clipped Bakayoko as they pursued a long ball over the top and was shown red.

In a thrilling Champions League match, Pepi settles the score for PSV Eindhoven as they secure a crucial victory. However, despite their win, Liverpool manages to hold on to the top spot in the group standings. The match was filled with excitement and drama as both teams fought hard for the win. • Prince Harry settles lawsuit with Rupert Murdoch’s newspapers after ‘full’ apology

LONDON — Prince Harry and his legal team thrashed out a last-minute deal with Rupert Murdoch’s British newspaper group Wednesday to settle claims of widespread wrongdoing at the publisher. The prince received a “full apology” but fell short of his mission to hold British tabloids accountable in open court.

The Duke of Sussex’s decision to settle his claims against News Group Newspapers (NGN) ends his efforts expose the misdeeds of the publisher of The Sun and long-shuttered News of the World in open trial.

Along with former lawmaker Tom Watson, Harry, 40, the younger son of King Charles III, had sued NGN over alleged unlawful activities carried out by journalists and private investigators working for the newspapers.

The group, which had long denied the allegations, offered what it called a “full and unequivocal apology” to Harry “for the serious intrusion by The Sun between 1996 and 2011 into his private life.”

In the British civil court system, a settlement often involves the accused covering the claimant’s legal fees, as well as handing over an additional cash payment.

NGN said it was sorry for intruding into the private life of Harry’s late mother, Diana, Princess of Wales and apologized to Harry “for the phone hacking, surveillance and misuse of private information by journalists and private investigators instructed by them at the News of the World.”

Outside the London court where the trial had been due to take place, David Sherborne — the lawyer representing Harry and Watson — read out a statement on their behalf.

“After endless resistance, denials and legal battles by News Group Newspapers, including spending more than a billion pounds in payouts and in legal costs (as well as paying-off those in the know) to prevent the full picture from coming out, News UK [NGN’s parent company] is finally held to account for its illegal actions and its blatant disregard for the law,” Sherborne said.

Sherborne’s statement added that “Prince Harry and his immediate family have also had to repeatedly withstand aggressive and vengeful coverage since starting his claim over five years ago,” which he said had left them concerned for their safety.

“Today the lies are laid bare. Today, the cover-ups are exposed. And today proves that no one stands above the law,” he said.

Lawyers for a UK tabloid publisher said on January 21, 2025 they were "very close" to settling a hotly-disputed lawsuit brought by Britain's Prince Harry for alleged unlawful information gathering by two of its newspapers.

Harry first brought the lawsuit against NGN in 2019 and the eight-week trial was supposed to start Tuesday. He had been expected to testify for several days next month.

But in a surprising twist — one that angered Judge Timothy Fancourt — both sides on Tuesday asked for more time to thrash out a deal. When Fancourt refused to allow a further delay until Wednesday, attorneys on both sides said they would go to the Court of Appeal to challenge his ruling, stalling the start of the trial.

Ahead of the trial, Sherborne alleged the newspapers had used deception to obtain his clients’ medical, phone and flight records, as well as bugging homes and placing listening devices into cars. He also alleged that executives destroyed documents and used other methods to conceal the chicanery.

NGN also issued what it called a “full and unequivocal apology” to Watson “for the unwarranted intrusion carried out into his private life during his time in Government by the News of the World during the period 2009-2011.”

When serving as a member of Parliament, Watson played a significant role in the initial inquiry into alleged phone-hacking by members of the British newspaper media. He also wrote a book charting the relationship between Murdoch-owned titles and politicians.

NGN’s apology said Watson had been “placed under surveillance in 2009 by journalists at the News of the World and those instructed by them.” The former deputy leader of the Labour Party, it added, had also been awarded “substantial damages.”

Harry, meanwhile, began positioning himself at odds with the royal family’s famous “never complain, never explain” attitude on the matter two years ago. He became the first senior member of the royal family to testify in court since Queen Victoria’s eldest son, Prince Albert Edward, did so in the late 19th century.

Prince Harry's Case For Unlawful Newsgathering Against The Sun Goes To Trial

Harry revealed in court papers that his father opposed his litigation, but although other claimants including celebrities, sports stars and politicians settled cases with NGN, he had always said his mission was not to receive money but to get to the truth.

NGN has already paid out hundreds of millions of pounds to victims of phone-hacking and other unlawful information gathering by the News of the World but it has always denied there was wrongdoing at The Sun. It has also rejected allegations that senior figures knew about the activity or tried to cover it up.

In a separate statement released as well as the apology, a spokesperson for NGN said the apology was “for incidents of unlawful activities carried out by private investigators working for The Sun, not by journalists, during the period 1996-2011.”

“There are strong controls and processes in place at all our titles today to ensure this cannot happen now.” the spokesperson added.

The spokesperson also denied that Watson’s phone was hacked. “Had this gone to trial, NGN would have called evidence from telecoms experts to demonstrate that hacking after 2007 was nigh on impossible due to security upgrades undertaken by telecoms companies,” the spokesperson said.

Even if he had gone to trial and won, Harry could still have been on the hook for a multimillion-pound legal bill. Under English civil law, a claimant who wins a court judgment that is lower than what they were offered to settle, has to pay the legal bills for both sides. The law is designed to discourage lengthy trials.

Actor Hugh Grant had been a claimant with Harry, but said in April that he was forced to accept “an enormous amount of money” to settle his case as he could have otherwise faced a large legal bill.

In a recent turn of events, Prince Harry has settled his lawsuit with Rupert Murdoch’s newspapers after receiving a ‘full’ apology. The Duke of Sussex took legal action against The Sun and The Daily Mirror for alleged phone hacking, invasion of privacy, and defamation.

The settlement comes after years of legal battles between the royal and the tabloid newspapers, with Prince Harry determined to hold them accountable for their unethical practices. The ‘full’ apology issued by the newspapers is seen as a significant victory for the Duke, who has been a vocal advocate for media ethics and privacy rights.

In a statement released by Prince Harry’s legal team, it was confirmed that the lawsuit had been settled with a substantial financial settlement and a public apology from the newspapers. The Duke expressed his relief at the resolution of the case and his hope that it will serve as a warning to other media outlets engaging in similar practices.

This settlement marks a significant moment in the ongoing battle between the royal family and the tabloid press, with Prince Harry leading the charge for greater accountability and integrity in journalism. It also highlights the power of individuals to stand up against media intrusion and fight for their rights to privacy and respect.

Overall, this settlement is a positive step towards a more ethical and responsible media landscape, and a reminder that no one is above the law, not even powerful media moguls like Rupert Murdoch.

  • Prince Harry settles his lawsuit with Rupert Murdoch’s News Group Newspapers, British media report

London — Britain’s Prince Harry has settled his lawsuit against the U.K. newspaper group owned by media mogul Rupert Murdoch, News Group Newspapers, Britain’s Press Association and the BBC reported, citing statements read out in a London court room on Wednesday.

The 2019 lawsuit brought by Harry, along with a former senior U.K. lawmaker, saw them sue News Group over alleged unlawful activities carried out by both tabloid journalists and private investigators employed by its newspapers, the Sun, and the no-longer-in-circulation News of the World. It is one of a number of lawsuits Harry has brought against newspapers in Britain.

On Tuesday, Emma Jones, a board member of the advocacy group Hacked Off, which has been working with Harry on his lawsuit, said proceedings had been scheduled to resume that morning, but that both sides appealed for extra time as the settlement talks were underway.

Jones said a “huge amount of money is going to be passing hands,” but she said she did not know the exact amount.

She said Harry also wanted “some sort of admission… that implicates NGN (News Group). An admission, in a way, of what went on,” Jones said.

“He doesn’t want to just walk away from this with an apology. He wants something tangible that he can say well, you know, ‘I at least have this. I proved my point,’” Jones said as negotiations continued Tuesday.

News Group has faced numerous lawsuits over allegations of phone hacking and illegal information gathering, and it has settled more that 1,300 involving politicians and celebrities. It has always denied, however, that the Sun newspaper was involved in any illegal activities, or that senior figures were aware of anything illegal and tried to cover it up.

Harry had previously said he wanted to go to trial to get to the truth, rather than to get a payout, after other claimants settled out of court.

In court documents that emerged in 2023, Prince Harry claimed that his own brother, heir to the British throne Prince William, quietly received “a very large sum of money” in a 2020 phone hacking settlement with Murdoch’s U.K. newspaper group.

After a long and drawn-out legal battle, Prince Harry has reportedly settled his lawsuit with Rupert Murdoch’s News Group Newspapers, according to British media reports.

The lawsuit, which was related to phone hacking allegations against the News of the World tabloid, was originally filed by Prince Harry in 2020. The Duke of Sussex accused the newspaper of illegally intercepting his voicemail messages and invading his privacy.

Details of the settlement have not been disclosed, but it is believed that Prince Harry received a substantial payout from News Group Newspapers as part of the agreement.

This marks the end of a tumultuous chapter for Prince Harry, who has been vocal about his disdain for the British tabloid press and their invasive tactics. The settlement is seen as a victory for the Duke of Sussex and a step towards holding media outlets accountable for their actions.

While the terms of the settlement remain private, many are hopeful that this will serve as a warning to other media organizations not to engage in unethical practices. Prince Harry’s fight for privacy and justice continues, and this settlement is a significant milestone in that journey.

  • Prince Harry settles lawsuit against Rupert Murdoch’s UK tabloids with ‘substantial’ damages

Prince Harry has settled his lawsuit against News Group Newspapers, the Rupert Murdoch-owned company that publishes The Sun and previously published now-defunct News of The World.

The settlement, announced Wednesday, includes an apology and admission of wrongdoing from NGN. The media company said it would also pay a “substantial” amount of damages.

“We acknowledge and apologise for the distress caused to the Duke, and the damage inflicted on relationships, friendships and family, and have agreed to pay him substantial damages,”NGN said in an apology statement. “It is also acknowledged, without any admission of illegality, that NGN’s response to the 2006 arrests and subsequent actions were regrettable.”

The settlement ends a legal fight that began in 2019 when Harry, the youngest child of King Charles III and the late Princess Diana, sued NGN over alleged illegal information gathering that dated back to the 1990s and 2000s.

In the lawsuit, Harry alleged that journalists at The Sun gathered information on him illegally, and hired private detectives to do so. He also claimed in the suit that senior executives at The Sun knew about the alleged illegal information gathering and covered it up.

Harry was joined in the lawsuit by Tom Watson, a U.K. lawmaker.

Leading up to the trial, NGN had strongly refuted Harry’s claims.

Harry’s settlement with NGN was announced just one day after the start of the trial in London’s High Court.

On Tuesday, the lawyer for Harry — who lives in California and did not attend the trial’s opening day — asked for an hour’s adjournment, which was followed by additional requests for delays from both Harry’s and NGN’s legal teams.

In one request for additional time, NGN’s lawyer Anthony Hudson KC said there had been “intense negotiations” between the two legal teams for the past few days.

“Both parties are in complete agreement… The number of times the parties have been in agreement in this litigation are very few and far between,” Hudson said in his request.

Harry spoke about the upcoming trial as recently as December, saying he wanted “accountability.”

“The goal is accountability. It’s really that simple,” Harry told an audience at the New York Times’ DealBook Summit in December.

Had the trial continued, Harry was expected to testify in-person in February.

In a recent development, Prince Harry has settled his lawsuit against Rupert Murdoch’s UK tabloids with ‘substantial’ damages. The lawsuit was filed over the alleged hacking of the Prince’s phone and invasion of his privacy.

The settlement comes after years of legal battles, with Prince Harry accusing the tabloids of breaching his privacy and spreading false information about him and his family. The terms of the settlement were not disclosed, but it is reported that the damages paid to Prince Harry were substantial.

This victory for Prince Harry is seen as a significant win for him and his ongoing battle against the intrusive and unethical practices of the tabloid press. It sends a strong message that the royal family will not tolerate such behavior and will fight for their right to privacy.

The settlement also serves as a warning to other media outlets that they will be held accountable for their actions and that they must adhere to ethical standards in their reporting.

Overall, this settlement is a step in the right direction towards greater accountability and respect for privacy in the media industry. Prince Harry’s fight against tabloid intrusion has been long and arduous, but with this settlement, he has achieved a significant victory.

Conditions will feel much colder after factoring in the winds. Wind chills will dip to around 20 to 40 degrees below zero!

Temperatures will finally climb to above freezing by the middle of next week.

  • ‘Twin Peaks’ Director David Lynch Settles Divorce From Wife of 14 Years as He Struggles With Health

‘Twin Peaks’ Director David Lynch Settles Divorce From Wife of 14 Years as He Struggles With Health

David Lynch and his estranged wife, Emily Lynch, hashed out a settlement in their divorce that covers custody and support amid the famed director’s serious health issues, In Touch can exclusively report.

According to court documents obtained by In Touch, David, 78, informed the court of the deal on Friday, December 20. David explained that he entered into a written agreement regarding their property and their marriage.

He said that the issues of child and spousal support, along with custody of their 11-year-old daughter, were resolved per the deal.

The agreement also covered the issue of who will cover the attorney fees racked up in the case. Emily filed for divorce from David — famous for the television show Twin Peaks — in December 2023.

She demanded sole legal and physical custody of their daughter.

Emily proposed that David be awarded visitation with the child. Emily asked the court to award her support and for David to cover her legal bills in the case.

David’s ex wasted no time with the divorce and had a process server serve David shortly after filing her petition in court.

David has been married four times, he was previously married to Peggy Lynch, Mary Sweeney and Mary Fisk.

Back in November, David spoke out about his lifelong battle with smoking. He revealed he was diagnosed with emphysema and had quit cigarettes.

David spoke to People about his decision to kick his habit and the damage it had done to his body.

“A big important part of my life was smoking,” David told the outlet. “I loved the smell of tobacco, the taste of tobacco. I loved lighting cigarettes. It was part of being a painter and a filmmaker for me.”

However, he added, “What you sow is what you reap.”

The director told the outlet that he needs oxygen for activity more “strenuous” than walking across a room. David said he wanted to warn current smokers to quit or they could face serious health problems.

“In the back of every smoker’s mind is the fact that it’s healthy, so you’re literally playing with fire,” he said. “It can bite you. I took a chance, and I got bit.”

“I really wanted to get this across: Think about it. You can quit these things that are going to end up killing you,” he said. “I owe it to them — and to myself — to say that.”

David said he started smoking at the age of 8. David said he tried to quit smoking numerous times over the years. He added, “But when it got tough, I’d have the first cigarette, and it was a one-way trip to heaven. Then you’re back smoking again.”

Even after being diagnosed with emphysema in 2020, David said it took him two more years to quit smoking.

He told the outlet, “I saw the writing on the wall. and it said, ‘You’re going to die in a week if you don’t stop.’”

David said, “I could hardly move without gasping for air. Quitting was my only choice.”

Twin Peaks director David Lynch has settled his divorce from his wife of 14 years, Emily Stofle, as he continues to struggle with his health. The couple filed for divorce in May 2021, citing irreconcilable differences.

Lynch, 75, has been open about his health issues in recent years, including suffering from chronic headaches and other physical ailments. Despite his health struggles, Lynch remains one of the most influential filmmakers in the industry, known for his unique storytelling style and surreal imagery.

The couple married in 2009 and share one child together. Lynch has two other children from previous relationships. The terms of the divorce settlement have not been disclosed.

Lynch’s fans have shown their support for the director during this difficult time, sending well wishes and messages of encouragement. Despite his personal challenges, Lynch continues to work on his creative projects and inspire audiences around the world with his visionary storytelling.
