Melania Trump says she’s packed, ready for White House return – NBC4 Washington

Incoming first lady Melania Trump says she’s packed and ready to move back into the White House, where son Barron will have a bedroom, and she plans to revive her Be Best children’s initiative.

Trump also said in a taped interview broadcast Monday on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” that an upcoming documentary on her life that is set to be distributed by Amazon Prime Video later this year was her idea based on the reception to the memoir she released last year.

“So I had an idea to, to make a movie, to make a film about my life,” she said. “My life is incredible. It’s incredibly busy. And, I told my agent, you know, I have this idea, so please, you know, go out and, make a deal for me.”

The documentary is the latest connection between Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Donald Trump. The company in December announced plans to donate $1 million to the president-elect’s inauguration fund, and said it would also stream Trump’s inauguration on Jan. 20 on its Prime Video service, a separate in-kind donation worth another $1 million.

In an abrupt shift from the usual soundtrack at Donald Trump’s political rallies, former First Lady Melania Trump made a theatrical entrance at the Republican National Convention on Thursday night, walking in to the arena to a Beethoven symphony for her first public appearance since March.

A week away from the inauguration and the Trumps’ return to the White House, Melania Trump said she is “packed” and has picked out the furniture she wants to bring to the executive mansion. The second time has been easier, she said, because she knows the rooms where the family will be living.

“I already packed. I already selected the, you know, the furniture that needs to go in. So it’s, it’s very different, a transition, this time, second time around,” she said.

Their son, Barron, 18 and a freshman at New York University, will have a room for when he visits.

Melania Trump said she’s still hiring for her team and plans to resurrect and expand her Be Best initiative, which was centered around childhood well-being, social media use and opioid abuse.

Backstage Sources Dispute Tessa Blanchard Claim That She’s Not Signed To TNA Wrestling

Tessa Blanchard’s return to TNA Wrestling at Final Resolution 2024 has been the subject of much discussion in recent weeks for a variety of reasons. CMLL was her home promotion for over a year where, she became a staple of the company’s women’s division, winning the CMLL World Women’s Tag Team Championship with Lluvia in August 2024 before vacating them to head back to TNA.

WWE is reportedly a factor in the decision to bring Blanchard back to the United States, as there are a number of people there who want to work with her. Considering the formal announcement of WWE’s partnership with TNA, that dream might become a reality for Blanchard sooner rather than later.

There has been some confusion surrounding Tessa Blanchard’s status with TNA Wrestling, as backstage sources are now disputing her claim that she is not signed to the promotion.

Jennifer Tilly doesn’t think she’s rich despite ‘Simpsons’ divorce settlement
Jennifer Tilly may own a few luxury items and properties, but that doesn’t mean she considers herself to be wealthy.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star told E! News that she doesn’t think of herself as rich, despite receiving a piece of The Simpsons in her divorce settlement from series co-creator Sam Simon in 1991. Still, she acknowledged that many people who have seen her lavish lifestyle on display on the series might believe otherwise.

“I don’t think of myself as rich, but I guess I’m delusional because I do have several properties and a purse, apparently, that cost $33,000,” Tilly, 66, told the outlet. “But actually, it didn’t. It cost $22,000 — which, I’m just setting that straight right now.”

In fact, the Chucky actress said she’s been trying to downplay the price points of some of her more expensive belongings on the show. “I actually did tell them I was wearing a bunch of Bvlgari bracelets and they’re like, ‘Ooh, Jennifer, how much are those? We’d like to put the price at the bottom,’” she recalled. “And I said no.”

She also noted that others might not be aware that she owns a piece of the longest-running animated show. “It’s not a large piece,” Tilly clarified. “My boyfriend and I live very simply in a very small, cluttered house. And yes, there’s a giant house next door, but we don’t go there. So I guess we’re kind of delusional.”

In the Dec. 3 episode of RHOBH, Tilly explained that she was married to Simon, who died from colon cancer in 2015, for seven years. “When we got divorced, I got a piece of The Simpsons in the divorce settlement,” she explained. “Nobody knew that The Simpsons was going to go on for trillions of years!”

She added with a laugh, “Honestly, every day, I’m like, ‘Thank you Sam!’”

Outside of her Simpsons settlement, Tilly has paid her own way as an Oscar-nominated actress whose credits include Bound, Monsters, Inc., and Bullets Over Broadway. However, she is perhaps best known for her role as murderous doll Tiffany Valentine in the Child’s Play franchise.

In her confessional Kim says, “I had the intention of staying single. I was fully lying to you guys. Me not dating, and not wanting love and attention? I don’t think you know me.”

In October 2024, an exclusive source told PEOPLE that the law student doesn’t have time to date, and that she’s focused on work and motherhood.

“She’s not even dating anyone now. It’s all about work and the kids,” the source says of Kim’s four kids — North, 11, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5 — whom she shares with ex-husband Kanye West.

Following her separation from the Graduation rapper, 47, in 2021 after six years of marriage, Kim dated comedian Pete Davidson for nine months in 2022. While on the Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year red carpet earlier this month, the couple answered a series of rapid fire questions — and when it comes to whose the best athlete among the two stars, Owens, 29, said his wife easily comes out on top.

Back in 2023, Owens was the center of intense online backlash when he said that he didn’t know who Biles was when they met and that he considered himself “the catch” in the relationship — and last spring, the Olympian admitted the backlash crushed her.

During an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast on April 16, Biles said that Owens’ comments were misconstrued.

“He never said I wasn’t a catch,” Biles clarified. “He said he was a catch because he is. I’ve never met a man like him. A lot of people that meet him are like, oh my gosh. I want a man like that, like Jonathan.”

Revealing that initially she found a bit of humor in the online response, she said that it ultimately hurt her feelings.

“I thought it was hilarious what people were saying divorce him, divorce him. All of this crazy stuff. And, like, he doesn’t even like to say divorce. So I thought it was hilarious at first, and then they hurt my feelings,” she said.

Biles, continued, adding, “Then, like, one night, I broke down, and I’m like, ‘Why are you guys talking about my husband like this?’”

The couple have supported each other continuously in each other’s sport, with Owens showing up for Biles, 27, during her Gold Over America Tour and traveling to Paris to be with her at last summer’s Olympics.

As for Biles, she has seamlessly transitioned to a WAG, showing up and cheering on Owens in the stands during game days.

While she’s enjoying that lifestyle now, Owens previously told PEOPLE that he knew she would always go back for a third shot at the Olympics.

“I knew once she made that decision that she was going to go back,” Owens told PEOPLE in August. “I’m confident in her ability. Obviously you still have to go out there and do it, but I was confident that she would.”

“It was an unbelievable, once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I’m just so thankful I was able to go and just witness her continue to make history,” Owens said of witnessing Biles in action. “I’m just so proud.”

LA Mayor Karen Bass appointed longtime civic official, businessman and developer Steve Soboroff to lead rebuilding efforts in the aftermath of the devastating wildfire that wiped out the majority of Pacific Palisades and other surrounding areas.

LOS ANGELES – Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass Friday appointed longtime civic official, businessman and developer Steve Soboroff to lead rebuilding efforts in the aftermath of the devastating wildfire that wiped out the majority of Pacific Palisades and surrounding areas.

“Steve Soboroff’s name is attached to hope,” Bass said in naming him the city’s chief recovery officer. “It is attached to energy, and it is attached to many, many accomplishments. He will recommend a comprehensive city strategy for rebuilding and for expediting — expediting is a very important word here — we want to expedite the return of residents, businesses, schools, nonprofits and parks.

“Steve has agreed to give himself to Los Angeles once again. He knows our communities. He knows how to activate City Hall. He’s been in City Hall several times, called to duty on several different occasions.”

Bass said “no one is better equipped to create a rebuilding plan” than Soboroff, former president of the city Police Commission and a longtime businessman who spearheaded development the arena now known as Crypto.com Arena downtown and the Playa Vista community. He also led efforts to coordinate the complex move of the space shuttle Endeavour through the streets of Los Angeles to the California Science Center.

“People in L.A. are hurting,” Soboroff said. “They are frustrated, like the mayor said. They’re confused. They want to know what they can do today. They can’t get back to their homes to find the pictures of their loved ones. And a whole lot of people are out of work, as a community has been wiped off the face of the Earth. A community that’s about 120 years old. I lived in it. My kids grew up in it for 40 years.

Communities in the fire zones of the Eaton and Palisades fires are in ruins. FOX 11’s Gigi Graciette shows us a destroyed neighborhood while FOX 11’s Susan Hirasuna recaps an update provided by FEMA.

“… What we need is and what I hope people will start out with today is hope,” he said. “There is an A-to-Z for each one of us. And `A’ is today, and we’re going to get there step by step. And the city is going to help to the extent it can, and we will have to outsource to the extent it can’t.”

For people critical of the city’s efforts in response to the fires, Soboroff said, “If people want to get on the bus with us, get on it. If they want to spend their time throwing embers right now and next Tuesday when it’s windy by spending time on that kind of stuff, just don’t get on our bus.”

Without offering any specifics, Bass said she plans to sign a series of executive orders next week aimed at expediting the recovery effort.

“We are going to do everything we can to clear the way so people can get back home,” she said.

She also said the city will also initiate a full after-action investigation into the handling of the fire disaster — following criticism ranging from the preparedness of the fire department to respond to the blaze and the availability of water and adequate water pressure in the Palisades area.

Bass said the city will conduct an investigation of its own, but there would also be an external review.

Jennifer Tilly is not hurting for money thanks to The Simpsons — but that doesn’t mean she identifies as wealthy.

“I don’t think of myself as rich,” Tilly, 66, told E! News on Tuesday, January 14. “But I guess I’m delusional because I do have several properties and a purse apparently that cost $33,000.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, who joined the show for season 14, noted that she thought “everybody knew that I had a piece of The Simpsons,” which is where a lot of her money comes from.

“It’s not a large piece, but even a little piece is something to write home about,” she added.

During the December 3, 2024, episode of RHOBH, Tilly noted that she was married to The Simpsons creator, Sam Simon, for seven years. The pair, who were together 10 years total, got divorced in 1991 and she “got a piece” of the show in her settlement.

“Nobody knew that The Simpsons was going to go on for trillions of years,” Tilly said on the show. “So every day, honestly, every day I’m like, ‘Thank you, Sam!’” (Simon died in 2015 at the age of 59.)

During the same episode, costar Erika Jayne pointed out that Tilly owned an extremely rare $33,000 Louis Vuitton handbag, which she said wasn’t exactly accurate.

“Actually, it didn’t. It cost $33,000, which I’m just setting that straight right now,” Tilly told E! “They must have had some intern look it up. It’s very rare, maybe on the secondary market they jacked up the price, but I called my purse contact, and I said, ‘How much did I pay for that purse?’ She said, ‘$22,000.’”

While the handbag price was slightly off, Tilly revealed that she does own four homes: three in California and one in Las Vegas.

Even with all her properties, Tilly was adamant that she lives humbly with her boyfriend in a “very small, cluttered house.”

“RHOBH”’s“ ”Jennifer Tilly doesn’t think she’s rich despite “Simpsons” divorce settlement: ‘I guess I’m delusional’

Jennifer Tilly may own a few luxury items and properties, but that doesn’t mean she considers herself to be wealthy.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star told E! News that she doesn’t think of herself as rich, despite receiving a piece of The Simpsons in her divorce settlement from series co-creator Sam Simon in 1991. Still, she acknowledged that many people who have seen her lavish lifestyle on display on the series might believe otherwise.

“I don’t think of myself as rich, but I guess I’m delusional because I do have several properties and a purse, apparently, that cost $33,000,” Tilly, 66, told the outlet. “But actually, it didn’t. It cost $22,000 — which, I’m just setting that straight right now.”

In fact, the Chucky actress said she’s been trying to downplay the price points of some of her more expensive belongings on the show. “I actually did tell them I was wearing a bunch of Bvlgari bracelets and they’re like, ‘Ooh, Jennifer, how much are those? We’d like to put the price at the bottom,’” she recalled. “And I said no.”

She also noted that others might not be aware that she owns a piece of the longest-running animated show. “It’s not a large piece,” Tilly clarified. “My boyfriend and I live very simply in a very small, cluttered house. And yes, there’s a giant house next door, but we don’t go there. So I guess we’re kind of delusional.”

In the Dec. 3 episode of RHOBH, Tilly explained that she was married to Simon, who died from colon cancer in 2015, for seven years. “When we got divorced, I got a piece of The Simpsons in the divorce settlement,” she explained. “Nobody knew that The Simpsons was going to go on for trillions of years!”

She added with a laugh, “Honestly, every day, I’m like, ‘Thank you Sam!’”

Outside of her Simpsons settlement, Tilly has paid her own way as an Oscar-nominated actress whose credits include Bound, Monsters, Inc., and Bullets Over Broadway. However, she is perhaps best known for her role as murderous doll Tiffany Valentine in the Child’s Play franchise.

And, if that wasn’t enough, Tilly is also a professional poker player and has won over $1 million in tournaments as of 2019.
