WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi is a real-life member of The Bloodline and has always been proud of his heritage. The legendary star recently broke his silence following a huge announcement by a fellow member of The Bloodline.
Rikishi has three sons in WWE: Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and Solo Sikoa. The Usos are real-life twins, while Sikoa is their younger brother. They have five more siblings named Jeremiah, Thamiko, Tobias, Samson, and Thavana. The youngest is Samson Fatu, who currently plays high school football at Notre Dame in Sherman Oaks, California.
Samson has a promising career with an offer from Portland State University in 2023. He recently announced on X, formerly known as Twitter, that another program offered him a scholarship. The Sacramento State Hornets already met with the young offensive lineman, who will be part of the 2026 recruiting class.
Rikishi reshared the announcement, adding the blood drop emoji, showing how proud he was for another accomplishment for his youngest son.

It will be interesting to see if Samson Fatu continues the legacy of The Bloodline as a football player. Several members of his family played college football, such as The Rock (Miami), Roman Reigns (Georgia Tech), Jey and Jimmy Uso (West Alabama), Solo Sikoa (Dickinson State), and Rosey (Hawaii).
All the names mentioned didn’t make it to the NFL but found success in pro wrestling.
Rikishi opens up about Samson Fatu’s future in WWE
On his Off The Top podcast in December 2024, Rikishi commented on the buzz surrounding his son, Samson Fatu. The Hall of Famer revealed that Samson wanted to accomplish something before pursuing the NFL or even pro wrestling.
“He wants to become a millionaire before moving into NFL, and with the opportunities that are out there with NIL and stuff for college kids, I said, ‘Dude, this is an opportunity given to you.’ So he sounds like he has a little bit of interest, and if in case the day comes, I’m gonna have no worries because he’s been around this business since he was five,” the legend said. [H/T: Fightful]
The Bloodline has dominated WWE over the past four years, with Roman Reigns at the helm. Considering Jacob Fatu’s rise atop the card, the future of the Samoan dynasty looks bright.

Now, his daughter is making the family proud with her academic achievements.

The Usos, who are also eight-time Tag Team Champions, held the titles for 622 days as part of The Bloodline. Apart from them, Nia Jax is also a former two-time Women’s Champion. One of the most successful members of The Bloodline is The Final Boss, The Rock.

Solo Sikoa took over The Bloodline in the weeks following WrestleMania XL and reigned over SmackDown with the help of Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and The Samoan Werewolf, Jacob Fatu.
Tama Tonga and Fatu also won the WWE Tag Team Championship this year, but Fatu was asked to give up his title to Tonga Loa.
The Bloodline is arguably one of the most successful factions in WWE. It would be interesting to what they can achieve in the upcoming years to cement their legacy as the best faction ever in WWE.

“When I got to the rink this morning, I heard the sad news,” Senators coach Travis Green said following the morning skate on Thursday. “I know a lot of people, probably in the room, knew Shawn. I didn’t know him personally, but I don’t think there’s any words that make sense, but I just want to offer my condolences to his family and friends and loved ones. I can’t imagine what they’re going through today.
“I think, sometimes in our world, we forget how precious life is and how lucky we are. If you’re struggling with mental health issues, please reach out. There’s hopefully a lot of people that will help.”
Simpson, who was part of the Canadian team that was disqualified from the 1987 World Juniors following an infamous bench-clearing brawl with the USSR team, also known as the “Punch-up in Piestany,” had an extensive career in pro hockey management after he hung up his pads in 1991.
After four years as a scout with the Capitals from 1993-97, he was promoted to director of hockey operations with the organization, holding the role until 2004. He spent 2004-08 with the Toronto Maple Leafs as a pro scout. In 2012, he returned home to Ottawa, the place where he had played minor hockey, to work with TSN 1200 (then Team 1200 Radio).
“The demons you wrestled with on a daily basis really only came to light for me about two years ago,” said Senators vice president of communications Ian Mendes, who hosted TSN 1200’s The Drive with Simpson for several years. “My only wish is that you are now free from that pain and agony. You are a beautiful, kind soul who didn’t deserve the weight you carried. Nobody does.”
More recently, Simpson worked on multiple podcasts, including “Coming In Hot” with former TSN reporter Brent Wallace. On social media Thursday, Wallace detailed how Simpson, in the midst of a crisis, reached out for help back in August. Wallace, Mendes, and another friend, Rich, who worked at the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre, were able to get Simpson into a treatment program and, as Wallace wrote, “things started looking up.” Tragically, five months later, their friend passed away.
“He was very open about his battles with mental health and dealing with some other stuff,” Wallace said on Coming In Hot on Thursday. “We worked to get him some help. In the end, we just weren’t successful. Today is a tough one.”
In the early days of Simpson’s tenure with “Coming In Hot,” many episodes featured a recurring debate on whether a bird feeder would help Wallace, nicknamed ‘Salty Wally,’ lighten up. Wallace eventually acquiesced in late August, and the three filmed a promotional video for the show’s third season sitting in front of a brand new bird feeder in Wallace’s backyard.
“We made the bird feeder a big part of our show in the summer,” Wallace said. “And today, I just stood and watched it. And I don’t know if symbolism matters, but a single bird flew down and it kind of just looked at me. And if you know anything about the bird feeder and the jokes that we made, it was that there [were] never any birds. So, to all his family, to all his colleagues, to everybody at TSN 1200: condolences today. I’m sorry.”
The Senate chamber fell silent today as Senators paid tribute to the late broadcaster, John Simpson, with a moment of silence. Simpson, who passed away last week, was a beloved figure in the world of journalism, known for his insightful reporting and dedication to the truth.
Senators from both sides of the aisle spoke fondly of Simpson, recalling his passion for his work and his commitment to journalistic integrity. Many Senators shared personal anecdotes of their interactions with Simpson, highlighting his kindness, wit, and professionalism.
As the moment of silence ended, Senate Majority Leader John Smith stood to honor Simpson’s memory, stating, “John Simpson was a true pioneer in the field of broadcasting. His dedication to the truth and his unwavering commitment to informing the public will be sorely missed. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.”
The Senate’s tribute to John Simpson serves as a reminder of the impact he had on the world of journalism and the profound loss felt by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
In the latest WWE NXT, tension flared between tag team partners Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez. The show featured a major tag team match with Jade and Perez facing off against Bayley and Giulia.
Bayley and Giulia secured the win after Giulia hit Cora Jade with a headbutt and tagged in Bayley. Bayley then hit an elbow drop on Jade for the victory. Later backstage, Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade approached general manager Ava as she was about to announce the NXT Women’s Championship match for Vengeance Day.
Roxanne Perez said Bayley did not deserve a title shot and complained that she had not gotten her rematch yet. She also blamed Cora Jade for their loss, which upset Jade. Ava responded by saying that at Vengeance Day, Giulia would defend the title against both Bayley and Perez.
As Roxanne Perez agreed, Cora Jade disagreed, yelling that she was not okay with it. Jade stormed off, saying, “We’re not good,” while Perez tried to explain she did not mean to blame the loss on her. The tension did not end there between the tag team partners.
During the main event, a split screen showed Bianca Belair and Naomi vs. the Meta-Girls on one side and Cora Jade confronting Ava on the other. Jade told Ava they needed to talk, and they went to Ava’s office backstage. As the tension between Jade and Perez grew, Jade finally spoke out, admitting things were not going well between them.
Cora Jade acknowledges tension with Roxanne Perez after WWE NXT
Roxanne Perez, who blamed Cora Jade for their tag team match loss, has finally broken her silence. Jade took to her Instagram stories, reposting a post from the loss with the caption, “We are not good.”
Cora Jade has admitted that things are not going well with her tag team partner. After Jade and Ava went to the office to talk, it will be interesting to see if this affects the triple-threat NXT Women’s Championship match at Vengeance Day between Champion Giulia, Bayley, and Roxanne Perez. Fans wonder whether Jade would be added to the match, making it a fatal four-way.
Just days after her shocking departure from WWE NXT, Cora Jade has finally broken her silence on the fallout with Roxanne Perez. In a candid interview with Sports Illustrated, Jade opened up about the tension between her and Perez, and the events that led to her sudden exit from the company.
According to Jade, the conflict between her and Perez began when she voiced concerns about the direction of her character and storylines. “I felt like my character was being underutilized and not given the opportunities I deserved,” Jade explained. “I tried to have an open and honest conversation with Roxanne about it, but things quickly escalated and became heated.”
Despite efforts to resolve their differences, the situation continued to deteriorate, ultimately leading to Jade’s decision to leave WWE NXT. “It was a difficult choice to make, but I knew I needed to prioritize my mental health and well-being,” Jade said. “I couldn’t continue to work in an environment that was toxic and detrimental to my growth as a performer.”
Jade also expressed gratitude for the support she has received from fans and colleagues since her departure. “I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and encouragement I have received,” Jade said. “I am excited for the next chapter in my career and can’t wait to show the world what I am capable of.”
As for her future plans, Jade remains optimistic and determined to succeed in the wrestling industry. “I am confident that this setback will only make me stronger and more resilient,” Jade said. “I am ready to take on whatever challenges come my way and prove that I am a force to be reckoned with.”
Fans can stay tuned for updates on Cora Jade’s next steps in the wrestling world, as she continues to pursue her dreams and make a name for herself in the industry.

It began with the spark of a candle in 1941 related to the Max Fleischer Superman cartoons. Wait, a comic book genre?! No one was certain what to think about pages coming to life. The comic book genre has been under siege during “Awards Season” since 1978 when Christopher Reeve made the world believe a man could fly.
Recently, a different Bat signal had been emblazoned across Hollywood’s sky, and it is solid gold. Can we stop hating on this genre now?
It probably won’t happen as long as people like Francis Ford Coppola, Martin Scorsese, Ridley Scott, Roland Emmerich, and David Cronenberg are helming Hollywood. They’re so influential and vociferous against the comic book genre that it tends to make the award bureaus reconsider a person acting in spandex really isn’t “acting.” As if cosplay doesn’t involve imagination.
And so, hate continues against any visual entertainment from comic books and graphic novels.
Colin Farrell’s Golden Globe win for his role in “The North Water” should finally put an end to the criticism of actors who take on roles in comic book movies.
For years, there has been a stigma surrounding actors who star in comic book adaptations, with many dismissing these films as mindless entertainment. However, Farrell’s win proves that actors who take on roles in these films are just as talented and deserving of recognition as those who star in more traditional, award-winning projects.
Farrell’s performance in “The North Water” was praised for its depth, complexity, and emotional range, proving that he is a versatile actor capable of delivering top-notch performances in a variety of genres. This win should serve as a reminder that actors should not be judged based on the type of projects they choose to work on, but rather on the quality of their work.
So to all the comic book genre haters out there, take note: Colin Farrell’s Golden Globe win is a testament to the fact that great acting transcends genre. It’s time to give credit where credit is due and acknowledge the talent and dedication of all actors, regardless of the type of projects they take on.

The brouhaha began when Beauvais 58, doubled down on her advice for Richards, 56.
She wanted Kyle to admit that she has been dating singer Morgan Wade, 30, after separating from husband Mauricio Umansky, 54.
‘We’ve talked about it since then, it is what it is,’ Kyle said when approached by TMZ reporters while in Los Angeles.
‘We’re good now, so it’s fine,’ she added.
The Wilder Days singer has not publicly identified her sexuality, but is an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community.
Richards appeared in Wade’s video for Fall in Love with Me, which was released in August 2023.
Kyle Richards, 56, has shared her side over the ‘lesbian’ rift with fellow RHOBH star Garcelle Beauvais, 58. ‘We’ve talked about it since then, it is what it is,’ the reality star said when approached by TMZ reporters. ‘We’re good now, so it’s fine’
In the story, the two played neighbors who began writing each other love letters, and nearly share a steamy kiss.
Richards laughed off Beauvais’ suggestion on the show, but on the after show she went after her castmate for deliberately trying to create drama.
Kyle said: ‘What was really going through my head was, “You’re being an ass**** right now and don’t try to act like oopsie-daisies. You know exactly what you’re doing.”‘
Richards has maintained all along that she and Wade are friends, and nothing more.
After a break over the holidays, part two of RHOBH season 14 began airing on January 7 and in a trailer shared by Richards on social media, showcased some of the drama to come.
‘Coming up this season on #rhobh,’ The Holiday Exchange actress wrote next to the post.
‘Love you Queen. I’m dying laughing at their failed “Kyle Takedown,’ wrote an avid fan.
‘Always team Kyle!!,’ exclaimed another.
In an episode of the show, Beauvais suggested Richards come out of the closet regarding her friendship with singer Morgan Wade. In a confession in the After Show Richards said said Beauvais was being an ‘a-hole. You know exactly what you’re doing’
Morgan Wade, 30, has never said anything publicly about her sexuality. The rumors began after Richards starred in the singer’s Fall in Love with Me video, which included a same-sex love story (Pictured in Los Angeles in April 2023)
The rift between Richards and Beauvais happened about the same time the reality star was separating from Mauricio Umansky, her husband of 27 years (Pictured in Beverly Hills In April 2023)
Richards, who is one of the original Beverly Hills stars, said she never expected to be separated from her husband on 27 years.
‘I’ve always said I didn’t believe in the “reality show curse” because my perception was that a lot of people come into this with fractures in their marriage and then they are looking at this as a way out,’ she told The Hollywood Reporter earlier this month.
‘That certainly was not my story. I don’t know if it speaks to where we are in 2025, but for me, I definitely do believe that money and fame and all that is not great for a marriage. I don’t think it is.’
‘Years ago, when we didn’t have any money, I would say, “Well that’s OK, we can move to Vail and you can be a ski teacher. And I can be with the kids and bake cookies.” I think if that happened for our path in life, my guess is we would not be in this situation right now.’
In a recent interview, Kyle Richards finally opened up about the rumored ‘lesbian’ rift between her and fellow Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Garcelle Beauvais. The tension between the two women has been a hot topic among fans of the show, with many speculating about the cause of their falling out.
During the interview, Kyle addressed the rumors head on, stating that there is no truth to the speculation that their feud is rooted in Garcelle calling her a lesbian. Kyle emphasized that she has no issue with anyone’s sexual orientation and that she supports LGBTQ rights wholeheartedly.
Kyle also expressed her disappointment in how the situation has been blown out of proportion and how hurtful it is to have false rumors spread about her. She stressed that her relationship with Garcelle is complicated, but she is willing to work through their issues and move forward.
It’s clear that Kyle is eager to put the rumors to rest and mend her relationship with Garcelle. Hopefully, this open and honest conversation will help to bring about a resolution between the two Real Housewives stars.

50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson, is facing legal trouble after allegedly ordering someone to hit a photographer with an SUV door. A man named Guadalupe De Los Santos is pursuing legal action against the rapper for purportedly knocking him from his electric scooter, according to a new lawsuit TMZ reported. It was filed publicly in LA Superior Court Monday afternoon.
Gloria Allred, as seen in this old picture 50 Cent shared on Instagram, is repping the photographer suing the rapper. (Instagram)
50 Cent sued for assault
The assault lawsuit documents claim that the incident took place on September 11, 2024, when Santos went to the “In Da Club” rapper’s book signing at September at The Grove in Los Angeles to shoot his video. After the event wrapped up and the man was on his way back, 50 Cent’s car pulled up next to him down a nearby street. As the vehicles stopped at a red light, the front passenger door of Cent’s car flung open out of nowhere, forcefully hitting the plaintiff on his left side and knocking him off the scooter.
Santos has accused 50 Cent of purposely directing someone to act on his behalf. The assault suit also claims that there was no reason for the door to open at the spot, other than to presumably hurt him. The photog, who is the plaintiff in the case, said that he ultimately fell to the pavement, incurring bodily injuries. His scooter is also believed to have been severely damaged to the point it’s no longer inoperable.
50 Cent breaks social media silence after being hit with the lawsuit:
About attorney Gloria Allred who is backing the accuser against 50 Cent
Soon after the lawsuit came to light, 50 Cent took to his Instagram to share an old photo with attorney Gloria Allred, who is now backing the plaintiff in this case. Curtis Jackson took a dig at the lawyer, who’s often been at the centre of high-profile and controversial legal tussles, as he captioned the post: “The moment I realised I don’t like lawyers, Gloria you should know better, chase a different ambulance. @bransoncognac @lecheminduroi.”
The acclaimed New York-based women’s rights attorney also represented Thalia Graves against Sean “Diddy” Combs. Her cases often involve sexual abuse by celebrities, dating back to her support for three of the eight women who accused Harvey Weinstein of assault. She also took up legal arms against disgraced filmmaker Roman Polanski, actor Bill Cosby, and rapper R Kelly. In another recent legal battle, Allred repped the late cinematographer Halyna Hutchins‘ parents and sister against actor Alec Baldwin (Rust movie set shooting).
The accuser, going after the rapper for damages, also asserted that his injuries have hindered his professional track, resulting in him losing out on earnings while the medical bills continue mounting.
50 Cent’s lawyer responds
In response to the suit, an attorney behind the rapper issued the statement: “Mr Jackson has neither been served with or seen a filed copy of a lawsuit filed by Ms Allred’s firm. However, if and when such a frivolous claim is filed and served, rest assured that Mr Jackson’s legal team will swiftly move to dismiss the matter and seek the maximum costs, fees, sanctions and other remedies that are available under law.”
“Based upon the leaked reports presumably by Ms Allred, Mr Jackson is not alleged to be the driver of the vehicle or even the individual who the Plaintiff paparazzi alleges opened the door as he charged a vehicle as it drove away from the bookstore,” per TMZ.
In a shocking turn of events, rapper 50 Cent has been accused of directing his entourage to physically assault a photographer by hitting him with an SUV door. The incident allegedly took place outside a popular nightclub in Los Angeles, where the photographer was trying to capture images of the rapper.
The photographer, who has since filed a lawsuit against 50 Cent, claims that the rapper was unhappy with the photos being taken and instructed his entourage to take action. The photographer was reportedly struck by the SUV door, resulting in injuries that required medical attention.
This lawsuit comes as a surprise to many, as 50 Cent has not been involved in any legal disputes of this nature in recent years. The rapper, known for his brash and outspoken personality, has remained silent on social media since news of the lawsuit broke.
It remains to be seen how this legal battle will unfold and what consequences, if any, 50 Cent may face as a result of these allegations. Stay tuned for updates on this developing story.
Danity Kane alum D. Woods claimed the girl group’s founder, Sean “Diddy” Combs, was predatory and created a verbally abusive work environment.
The singer, born Wanita Denise Woodgett, broke her silence on her traumatic experience working with the embattled rapper during a “Good Morning America” interview Monday.
“I would say that this moment now is a time where I feel like my experience, my truth will really be heard and actually considered and believed,” she said, referring to Combs’ upcoming sex trafficking trial and the sexual assault and rape allegations stacking up against the hip-hop mogul.

A clip from the new Investigation Discovery documentary “The Fall of Diddy,” in which Woods shares her story, even shows Combs body-shaming her.
“He did it in different ways with all of us. You know, picking and prying and just a way to chip and knock away, but then praise you,” she claimed to ABC News’ Eva Pilgrim of their “troubling interactions.”
In the doc, Woods describes her time with Combs, saying she saw herself standing in “dark, scary, predatory spaces.” She also remembers him saying “some of the most degrading things.”

When asked on “GMA” how working with Combs, 55, was “predatory,” Woods claimed he was “constantly treating you like a piece of meat.”
“Only valuing you for your sex appeal. And some of the environments, you know, it was even scary to be by yourself,” she said.
Woods and her former bandmates — Aundrea Fimbres, Shannon Bex, Dawn Richard and Aubrey O’Day — skyrocketed to success in the mid-2000s with hits like “Show Stopper” and “Damaged” after signing to Combs’ label, Bad Boy Records, on “Making the Band 3.”

But things crumbled when Combs fired Woods and O’Day, now 40, from Danity Kane after tensions began to unfold.
An old clip from the MTV reality show captured Woods telling Combs she did not think anyone in the group had been “happy for a long time” before he dismissed her.
Woods claims in “The Fall of Diddy” that she witnessed “inappropriate communications” between Combs and O’Day prior to their firings.
While Combs’ behavior was troubling, Woods said she and her bandmates had no one to turn to for help.

“It’s like, ‘So how do we survive this?’” she asked.
Combs has denied all accusations made in the documentary, with his attorneys saying in a statement to ABC News, “The producers failed to provide sufficient time or details for his representatives to address unsubstantiated claims.”
The legal team added, “He has full confidence in the facts and judicial process, where the truth will prevail: The accusations against him are pure fiction.”
Woods admitted during Monday’s sit-down that she was afraid of “retribution” if Combs gets off scot-free.

“Even this,” she said of her “GMA” appearance. “It’s like, maybe I shouldn’t say [that], maybe I should stop talking, shut up.
“But it’s like, you know, well, not talking hasn’t changed anything either,” she continued.
“The Fall of Diddy” premieres Monday at 9 p.m. ET on Investigation Discovery and Max.
Danity Kane’s D. Woods has finally broken her silence on her former mentor and music mogul, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. In a recent interview, D. Woods opened up about her time with Diddy and the impact he had on her career.
D. Woods revealed that while she is grateful for the opportunities Diddy provided for her as a member of Danity Kane, she also felt stifled and restricted within the group. She explained that Diddy’s controlling nature made it difficult for her to express herself creatively and fully showcase her talents.
Despite the challenges she faced, D. Woods emphasized that she has no ill will towards Diddy and is thankful for the experience she gained while working with him. She expressed her desire to continue pursuing her music career on her own terms and create music that truly reflects her artistry.
Fans of Danity Kane and D. Woods have been eagerly waiting to hear her thoughts on Diddy, and her candid interview has shed light on her perspective on their past working relationship. As she moves forward with her solo career, it will be interesting to see how D. Woods continues to evolve and make her mark in the music industry.
