Fulham are being linked with a move to sign free-agent and former player Willian, and according to GIVEMESPORT sources, he still has good relations with the club after his time at Craven Cottage.
Willian left Olympiacos back in December, terminating his contract, meaning he’s available to join a new club for free. As a result of his free-agent status, Willian will be able to join a new side after the transfer window has closed.

According to GIVEMESPORT sources, Willian still has good relations with Fulham after his time at Craven Cottage. Silva ‘loves’ the Brazilian, and with him being a free agent, Fulham could add attacking cover with Reiss Nelson and Harry Wilson picking up injuries.
GIVEMESPORT understands that Fulham have also made checks on AC Milan attacker Samuel Chukwueze to discover his condition and motivation after he was touted around the Premier League. Everton were also offered the player in the past week as they looked to see if there was any interest in the attacker.
GIVEMESPORT sources have also confirmed that Fulham are eyeing a late move to bring in a new right-back before the window slams shut, but we’re edging very close to the deadline. It could be a busy end to the window for the Cottagers as they look to get a few deals over the line.
Fabrizio Romano confirms that Fulham have set their sights on a last-ditch move for the pacey winger.
Fulham Eyeing Former Player who Marco Silva ‘Loves’
Reports have emerged that Fulham are considering a move to bring back a former player who manager Marco Silva reportedly ‘loves’.
Silva, who took charge of Fulham earlier this summer, is said to be keen on reuniting with the player, who is currently plying his trade at another club.
The player in question has a strong connection with Fulham, having previously enjoyed a successful spell at the club before moving on to further his career.
Silva’s admiration for the player is well-known, and it seems that he is now pushing for a reunion at Fulham.
The potential transfer would undoubtedly excite Fulham fans, who have been eager to see their team make some key signings this summer.
Stay tuned for further updates on this developing transfer story as Fulham look to bolster their squad ahead of the upcoming season.

“I learned a lot from both fights,” she told Sherdog.com. “I came to understand some things about myself. No one wants to learn from a loss, but it was important to learn those lessons. Now I’m moving forward. I have another tough fight in front of me.”
A onetime title challenger at women’s bantamweight, Bueno Silva caught many observers off-guard with her decision to move back to the 125-pound weight class.
“I’m dropping back down because I want to challenge myself again,” she said. “I want to climb my way up again. My goal is the flyweight belt. I’ll be facing Jasmine, who’s super tough. I’m going to have fun restarting my climb towards the belt.”
Jasudavicius steps back into view on the strength of a three-fight winning streak. The Niagara Top Team product has compiled an impressive 6-2 record across her eight appearances inside the Octagon, losing only to Natalia Silva and Tracy Cortez . Jasudavicius, 35, last competed at UFC Fight Night 246, where she put away former Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki champion Ariane Lipski with a brabo choke in the third round of their Nov. 2 encounter. The Canadian has Bueno Silva’s undivided attention.
“I like her style a lot,” she said. “She goes for finishes. It’s also how I fight. We both look to finish our opponents. I believe we will have a war. I will honor Brazil this time. She’s had good results against Brazilians in the past, but I’ll stop her. I like her a lot, but business is business.”
Bueno Silva, who repped American Top Team in the past, spent her training camp with the Fighting Nerds in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where her preparation was overseen by coaches Pablo Sucupira and Flavio Alvaro . Longtime girlfriend Gloria de Paula provided additional support ahead of the forthcoming showdown with Jasudavicius.
“She’s always by my side,” Bueno Silva said. “Without her, my fight camps don’t work. We brought in a few more training partners. I’m very ready.”
As she approaches her latest test, Bueno Silva continues to lean into her ambition.
“I will have a war against Jasmine,” she said. “My plan is to have my hand raised at the end. Then I want to fight someone who’s ranked even higher. I’m chasing after the flyweight belt.”
Mayra Bueno Silva Hits the Reset Button
After a tough loss in her last fight, UFC flyweight Mayra Bueno Silva is ready to hit the reset button and come back stronger than ever. Despite the setback, Bueno Silva remains determined and focused on bouncing back in her next bout.
With a record of 7 wins and 2 losses, Bueno Silva has proven herself to be a tough and resilient fighter in the octagon. Known for her aggressive fighting style and strong ground game, she has the skills to compete with the best in her division.
As she prepares for her next fight, Bueno Silva is putting in the hard work and dedication to improve her skills and come back even better than before. Fans can expect to see a rejuvenated and motivated fighter when she steps back into the cage.
Stay tuned for updates on Mayra Bueno Silva’s next fight as she looks to make a statement and show the world what she is truly capable of. #MayraBuenoSilva #UFC #Flyweight #ResetButton #Fighter
“Sheetara”, who trained at American Top Team in Florida prior to the move, told MMA Fighting that returning to Sao Paulo, the home state of her wife Gloria de Paula, was to start grow the family. Together since August of 2016, Silva and de Paula are now planning to have a baby.
“We’re going to be moms,” Silva said, “so we’ll start the in vitro fertilization process and be close to family, close to home and out moms, because it’s a hard process for Gloria while I’m in camp. I want her to be as comfortable as possible and surrounded by love. That’s why we’re back. I love American Top Team, I love my little man ‘Parrumpa’. We had no issues, nothing like that. We only came back because we decided to become mothers.”
Silva competed for the UFC bantamweight belt in January 2024 and now returns to flyweight looking for more challenges. De Paula, on the other hand, went 0-2 since parting ways with the UFC in June 2022. “Sheetara” also wants to get pregnant one day, she said, but it’s “Glorinha’s” turn now.
“We started the IVF process now,” Silva said. “Gloria will get pregnant now, and in the future it’s my turn. I really want to get pregnant. My dream as a child was to get married and become a mom. I want to get pregnant in the future, yes.
“I dream of being a mother, too, and the end of the career comes faster for women,” she continued. “I believe I have what, five years left in my career? If you think about it, it’s not a lot. Men last longer. So I want to enjoy every little moment, every fight. We fight two, three times a year, and that’s not much for all the hard work we put in. I want to enjoy every process because it all ends so fast, and one day I’ll be telling my kids what I used to do.”
The 33-year-old fighter is cutting back to flyweight more than three years after leaving the division looking for “motivation” and “fun” after coming up short in a title fight at bantamweight.
“It’s the fun of starting something new in a quest for a belt, something that lights up a fire in me again.” Silva said. “Can I do it? Can I go after another belt? It’s hard, but it lights up a cool fire in me, it keeps me alive.”
Cutting the extra 10 pounds isn’t easy, though, and “Sheetara” has to make sacrifices in order to get down to 125 pounds on Friday morning. Yet, Silva said that being “extremely hyperactive” helps her deal with hard tasks. Her last flyweight bout was a decision loss to Manon Fiorot in Las Vegas — and she absolutely hates looking back at that fight week.
“The weight cut for Fiorot is something I don’t even like remembering because she had COVID at that time [and postponed the fight] and I had to cut weight twice,” Silva said. “It was very sad to me, you know? That’s when I had concussion because of the dehydration. It was a horrible fight, the worst fight of my life. That was a very painful process in my life.
“I’m healthy now, I’m fine, I’m cutting down in weight and it’s good. Is it hard? Yeah, sometimes you go to a party and can’t eat. You can’t go to the movies, you have restrictions at home. Sometimes Gloria wants to eat something and I can’t, but I’m trying to enjoy the process because I don’t have much time left doing this.”
Jasudavicius, winner of her past three with two $50,000 performance bonuses cashed, welcomes Silva back to the flyweight division looking to enter the top 10 of the UFC’s 125-pound weight class. Silva knows her well, and sees holes in her game.
“We have similar styles, she’s a grappling finisher and so am I,” Silva said. “I love Jasmine. We’ve trained together at American Top Team and she’s sensational, has super high-level grappling and I have to be careful or she can complicate things for me. But she’s good at something I’m excellent at, which is finishing fights. The match-up is bad for her, I think. We see many holes in her game, but she’s a very tough girl.”
UFC flyweight Mayra Bueno Silva has announced that she is moving back to her home country of Brazil in order to plan for her wife’s pregnancy. The 26-year-old fighter made the decision to return to Brazil in order to be closer to her family and have the support system she needs during this important time in her life.
Silva, who made her UFC debut in 2018, has quickly become a rising star in the flyweight division. Known for her aggressive fighting style and impressive grappling skills, Silva has quickly climbed the ranks and is now looking to take some time off from fighting in order to focus on starting a family with her wife.
In a recent interview, Silva expressed her excitement about the next chapter in her life, saying, “I am so grateful for the opportunity to become a mother and start a family with my wife. This is something we have been dreaming of for a long time and I am thrilled to be able to focus on this new chapter in our lives.”
While Silva is taking a break from fighting to focus on her family, she has made it clear that she is not retiring from the sport and plans to return to the octagon once she has welcomed her new addition to the family. Fans of Silva can expect to see her back in action in the near future, but for now, she is focused on planning for the arrival of her new little one.

We’re back with another betting prediction and pick for tUFC Saudi Arabia as we look ahead to this upcoming showdown in the Women’s Flyweight (125) Division. No. 12 Jasmine Jasudavicius of Canada will face No. 7 Mayra Bueno Silva of Brazil as both fighters work towards earning a title shot. Check the UFC odds series for our Jasudavicius-Silva prediction and pick.
Jasmine Jasudavicius (12-3) has gone an impressive 6-2 under the UFC banner. She’s notched three-straight wins over Priscila Cachoeira, Fatima Kline, and Ariane Lipski. She also has two submission wins via d’arce choke during that stretch, so she’ll look for a similar result as the moderate betting favorite. She stands 5-foot-7 with a 68-inch reach.
Mayra Bueno Silva (10-4-1) has gone 5-4-1-1 during her time with the UFC. She’s gone 0-2-1 during her last three appearances and notably fought for the Bantamweight championship against Raquel Pennington. Most recently dropping her last fight, she’ll look to claw her way back to title contention with an upset win. She stands 5-foot-6 with a 66.5-inch reach.
Last Fight: (W) Ariane Lipski da Silva – SUB (d’arce choke, R3)
Last 5: 4-1
Finishes: 2 KO/TKO, 3 SUB
Jasmine Jasudavicius has been on a tear since suffering her last UFC loss in September 2023. She’s won three-straight fights while finding two d’arce finishes, earning a Performance of the Night bonus in both of those efforts. She’s a classically-trained jiu jitsu practitioner and is very hard to stop on the ground, never being submitted in her professional career. Her boxing has also greatly improved over the last few fights as she uses it to set up her takedowns along the fence. Look for her to lean more on her striking in this one against a tough grappler like Silva.
Jasmine Jasudavicius also fights with an extremely high IQ and doesn’t tend to put herself in many dangerous positions. She’s very patient in finding her offense and likes to remain steady with her striking attack while timing her opponent’s rhythm. She’ll have some knockout power coming back her way, so expect Jasudavicius to stay moving in the pocket as she looks to slip punches and counter from in close.
Why Mayra Bueno Silva Will Win
Last Fight: (L) Macy Chiasson – TKO (doctor stoppage)
Last 5: 2-2-1
Finishes: 1 KO/TKO, 7 SUB
Mayra Bueno Silva will be returning to action following her last fight being cut short by a doctor’s stoppage. Silva had sustained a cut from an elbow and it was one of the nastier cuts we’ve seen in recent memory. She was holding her own during the fight, but a big focal point for her moving forward will be improving her defense and not allowing opponents to connect with clean shots. Her power allows her to have an advantage during a slug fest, but she’ll need to be conscious of her own well-being if she plans to fight like that.
With seven wins by submission, Mayra Bueno Silva will look to force this fight to the ground. She hasn’t notched one of her signature submissions in three fights, so it’ll be interesting to see how willing she is to engage in the grappling during this one. Still, Silva usually begins her attack on the feet and will look to back her opponent into a corner. From there, look for her to utilize the clinch as she’s one of the stronger fighters in the weight class.
Final Jasmine Jasudavicius-Mayra Bueno Silva Prediction & Pick
This should be a great fight between two high-level grapplers as both women are capable of finding submissions quickly. Jasmine Jasudavicius has won her last three fights while Mayra Bueno Silva is searching for her first win in two years. We can’t forget that she recently fought for the title and has effectively beaten some of the top fighters in the division.
Still, I believe the biggest difference in this fight will be the foot movement of Jasmine Jasudavicius. She’s the much faster and agile fighter, so she should be able to circle away from Silva and tire her out by the third round. It’ll be a close fight if they begin grappling, but I expect Jasudavicius to dictate this one with her striking from range. For our final betting prediction, let’s roll with Jasudavicius to get the win as the betting favorite.

Jasmine Jasudavicius vs. Mayra Bueno Silva Prediction, Odds, Pick for UFC Saudi Arabia
In an exciting matchup set to take place at UFC Saudi Arabia, Jasmine Jasudavicius will face off against Mayra Bueno Silva in what promises to be a thrilling fight.
Jasudavicius, known for her striking skills and aggressive fighting style, will be looking to make a statement in this bout. With a record of 5 wins and 1 loss, she has shown that she has what it takes to compete at the highest level in the Octagon.
On the other hand, Silva, with a record of 7 wins, 1 loss, and 1 draw, is a well-rounded fighter with a strong ground game. She will be looking to use her grappling skills to control the fight and secure a victory.
In terms of odds, both fighters are evenly matched, with the bookmakers giving each of them a good chance of winning. However, based on their recent performances and fighting styles, I predict that Jasudavicius will come out on top in this matchup.
My pick for this fight is Jasmine Jasudavicius to win by TKO in the second round. Make sure to tune in to UFC Saudi Arabia to catch all the action and see if my prediction comes true!

WEST INDIES will be without their most experienced fast bowler Kemar Roach and wicketkeeper Joshua Da Silva for the opening Test match of the two-match series against Pakistan.
The series bowls off at the Multan Cricket Stadium in Multan, Pakistan from 12.30 am (TT time) on January 17.
During a media conference ahead of the series, Brathwaite said fast bowler Anderson Phillip is also unavailable.
“Kemar Roach is not feeling well, so he is out for this game. Joshua Da Silva, he is out as well and Anderson Phillip is out. We have a 12-man squad and obviously tomorrow (January 17) we will make the decision on the final XI.” Roach, 36, has grabbed 282 wickets in 84 Test matches since making his debut in 2009. Da Silva has been the first-choice keeper since 2020 and Phillip has just two caps under his belt.
West Indies will have to bank on pacer Jayden Seales, along with medium pacer Justin Greaves.
>
When the squad was announced it was revealed that two other Windies fast bowlers were unavailable.
“Shamar Joseph will continue his rehabilitation from injury, while Alzarri Joseph will be unavailable due to other engagements,” a Cricket West Indies media release said.
The spinners may have a heavy workload in the absence of the fast bowlers. Gudakesh Motie, Kevin Sinclair and Jomel Warrican are the slow-bowling options for Brathwaite.
Spin is expected to factor in the series and Brathwaite said his players are ready for the task.
“I am fully confident in this team to face any bowlers around the world…I think what I have been preaching to the batsmen is just believe and be brave…fully confident that everyone here can do well against any team in the world.”
West Indies 12-man squad for first Test vs Pakistan: Kraigg Brathwaite (captain), Alick Athanaze, Keacy Carty, Justin Greaves, Kavem Hodge, Tevin Imlach, Amir Jangoo, Mikyle Louis, Gudakesh Motie, Jayden Seales, Kevin Sinclair, Jomel Warrican.
The West Indies cricket team will be without the services of Kemar Roach and Shannon Da Silva for the first Test against Pakistan. Roach, a key fast bowler, has been ruled out due to injury, while Da Silva, a promising wicketkeeper-batsman, is unavailable for personal reasons.
Their absence will be a blow to the team as they prepare to take on Pakistan in what promises to be a challenging series. Roach’s experience and ability to generate pace and swing will be sorely missed, while Da Silva’s solid batting and sharp glovework behind the stumps will leave a void in the team.
The West Indies will have to regroup and find suitable replacements to fill the void left by Roach and Da Silva as they look to put up a strong performance against Pakistan in the upcoming Test series. Fans will be hoping for a speedy recovery for Roach and a quick return for Da Silva so they can rejoin the team for the remainder of the series.
