Premier League Soccer: Livestream Ipswich vs. Man City From Anywhere
Man City will be looking to prove their recent resurgence isn’t a flash in the pan as they host an Ipswich side looking to claw their way out of the relegation zone.
After a disastrous run of just one win in 13 matches at the tail end of 2024, City appeared to have turned a corner after kicking off the new year with a run of three consecutive victories. That streak was brought to a halt in midweek, however as Pep Guardiola’s side let a two-goal lead slip away against Brentford to draw 2-2, raising further doubts over whether the Citizens can claim a Champions League qualification spot this term.
Up next for City is an Ipswich side that saw their hopes of escaping relegation dented after slipping to a 0-2 defat at home to Brighton on Thursday. Despite that result, Kieran McKenna’s Tractor Boys remain just one below 17th placed Wolves, and in-form forwards Omari Hutchinson and Liam Delap may fancy their chances against a decidedly unconvincing City defence.
Ipswich Town take on Manchester City on Sunday, Jan. 18, at Portman Road, with kickoff set for 4:30 p.m. GMT local time. That makes it a 11:30 a.m. ET or 8:30 a.m. PT start in the US and Canada, and a 3:30 a.m. AEDT kickoff in Australia in the early hours of Monday morning.
Below, we’ll outline the best live TV streaming services to use to watch the match as it happens, wherever you are in the world.
Manchester City have been boosted in the run up to this game with the news that star striker Erling Haaland has signed a new nine-and-a-half-year contract with the club.

How to watch the Premier League 2024-25 season from anywhere with a VPN
If you find yourself unable to view EPL matches locally, you may need a different way to watch the games — that’s where using a VPN can come in handy. A VPN is also the best way to stop your ISP from throttling your speeds on game day by encrypting your traffic, and it’s also a great idea if you’re traveling and find yourself connected to a Wi-Fi network, and you want to add an extra layer of privacy for your devices and logins.
With a VPN, you’re able to virtually change your location on your phone, tablet or laptop to get access to the game. Most VPNs, like our Editors’ Choice, ExpressVPN, make it really easy to do this.
Using a VPN to watch or stream sports is legal in any country where VPNs are legal, including the US, UK and Canada, as long as you have a legitimate subscription to the service you’re streaming. You should be sure your VPN is set up correctly to prevent leaks: Even where VPNs are legal, the streaming service may terminate the account of anyone it deems to be circumventing correctly applied blackout restrictions.

Quick tips for streaming the Premier League using a VPN
- With four variables at play — your ISP, browser, video streaming provider and VPN — your experience and success when streaming EPL matches may vary.
- If you don’t see your desired location as a default option for ExpressVPN, try using the “search for city or country” option.
- If you’re having trouble getting the game after you’ve turned on your VPN and set it to the correct viewing area, there are two things you can try for a quick fix. First, log into your streaming service subscription account and make sure the address registered for the account is an address in the correct viewing area. If not, you may need to change the physical address on file with your account. Second, some smart TVs — like Roku — don’t have VPN apps you can install directly on the device itself. Instead, you’ll have to install the VPN on your router or the mobile hotspot you’re using (like your phone) so that any device on its Wi-Fi network now appears in the correct viewing location.
- All of the VPN providers we recommend have helpful instructions on their main site for quickly installing the VPN on your router. In some cases with smart TV services, after you install a cable network’s sports app, you’ll be asked to verify a numeric code or click a link sent to your email address on file for your smart TV. This is where having a VPN on your router will also help, since both devices will appear to be in the correct location.
- And remember, browsers can often give away a location despite using a VPN, so be sure you’re using a privacy-first browser to log into your services. We normally recommend Brave.

Premier League: 10 things to look out for this weekend | Soccer
1
Villa’s forwards to catch Arteta’s eye?
If Arsenal’s books for the January window look closed, a meeting with Aston Villa casts forward thoughts to summer business. During Wednesday’s north London derby it was not difficult to wonder how much greater the margin of victory might have been with either Ollie Watkins or Jhon Durán leading the Gunners frontline. If Martin Zubimendi is an expected summer arrival, adding to an already packed midfield, where does a forward come in? Gabriel Jesus’s knee injury delays his possible sale while increasing the need for reinforcements. Villa have been busy, with Donyell Malen coming in from Dortmund and Jaden Philogene sold to Ipswich. Monchi, Villa’s president of football operations, has never been shy of selling players to bring in further talent. Watkins, who is 29, was on the mark at Everton for his first goal of 2025. Duran, 21, unused at Goodison after suspension, may be Arsenal’s next-best option to the imperious, and probably far too expensive, Alexander Isak. John Brewin

Howe looking for perfect 10
In purely statistical terms Eddie Howe has something in common with Kevin Keegan and Rafael Benítez. It involves an ascent to cloud nine. All three managers have choreographed nine-game winning streaks during their Newcastle tenures. When his former employers Bournemouth visit Tyneside on Saturday, Howe’s class of 2025 aim to make it a perfect 10 victories in a row. If the current streak – featuring six Premier League wins and three in the domestic cups – is largely down to Sandro Tonali’s relocation to the tempo setting No 6 central midfield role, Alexander Isak seems a key beneficiary. The Sweden striker has scored 14 goals in Newcastle’s last 13 league games, netting at least once in each of their last eight fixtures. Might Isak eventually eclipse Jamie Vardy’s Premier League record of scoring in 11 successive matches? And can Howe ultimately win even more Geordie hearts and minds than the still much adored Keegan and Benítez? Louise Taylor

Another fun-fest at the Gtech?
For the first time this season Liverpool play an away game at 3pm on a Saturday. Previously they have had three such kick-offs at Anfield – against Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth and Brighton – while their Saturday away games have started at 12.30pm, 5.30pm and 8pm. The TV schedulers don’t know what they’re doing: every Brentford home game should be broadcast live, because they are as close as football gets to guaranteed fun. The two goalkeepers should be braced for a busy afternoon: so far this season 38.9% of Liverpool’s shots have been on target, more than every other team in the top flight but one. That one, inevitably, is Brentford, who are running at 43.2%, a number that partly explains why their shot conversion rate is the best in the league. They are the only team in the division with two players in double figures for goals scored. Of those players, Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa rank just behind Chris Wood on shot conversion, with no Liverpool player close. Simon Burnton

Will flexible Potter turn to Ings?
Graham Potter went without a recognised striker during West Ham’s win over Fulham. Lucas Paquetá played as a false 9 and Danny Ings was on the bench. Ings was not ready to start the game, but he made a good impact after coming on in the second half, hassling Bernd Leno into the error that led to Paquetá scoring the winning goal. Potter is flexible and generally likes to shuffle the pack from game to game – so will he turn to Ings for the visit of Palace? Jacob Steinberg
West Ham v Crystal Palace, Saturday 3pm

Moyes needs to dig up some goals
One game was all it took for the paucity of Everton’s attacking options to hit home for David Moyes and the new manager to call for “desperately needed” reinforcements. The club’s transfer record does not bode well for finding solutions in the notoriously difficult January market. Since Richarlison was sold to Tottenham for £60m in the summer of 2022, Everton’s recruitment for the final third has been lamentable, even accounting for the financial juggling act that the director of football, Kevin Thelwell, has had to perform. The attackers signed on Thelwell’s watch are as follows: Neal Maupay, Dwight McNeil, Jack Harrison, Arnaut Danjuma, Youssef Chermiti, Beto, Iliman Ndiaye, Jesper Lindstrøm and Armando Broja. McNeil and potentially Ndiaye are the only pluses. This season’s intake of Ndiaye, Harrison, Lindstrøm and Broja, who arrived injured and is now out for another three months with ankle ligament damage, have delivered three goals and no assists between them. All three goals were scored by Ndiaye. With Dominic Calvert-Lewin toiling (he has now gone 1,212 minutes without scoring) Moyes has no reliable options to call upon. He must be tempted to oversee recruitment himself. Andy Hunter

Amorim’s chance to assess progress
Eighty-one days into piloting Manchester United, Ruben Amorim knows the vagaries of a challenge that defeated David Moyes, Louis van Gaal, José Mourinho, Ole Gunnar Solskjær and Erik ten Hag. The Portuguese can boast a 2-1 smash-and-grab derby victory at Manchester City, a credible 2-2 draw at Liverpool, and last weekend’s doughty FA Cup triumph at Arsenal. There have also been hapless defeats to Arsenal (in the league), Nottingham Forest, Tottenham, Bournemouth, Newcastle and Wolves, plus a troubling display against Southampton on Thursday before Amad Diallo’s late hat-trick. Day 83 features the visit of Brighton, who ping the ball about in the manner Amorim is seeking to install at United. August’s reverse fixture ended with Fabian Hürzeler’s men winning 2-1, so this will be an intriguing barometer of where the 39-year-old’s reboot of United stands. Jamie Jackson

Delap may give City reason for regret
During Manchester City’s slide, much has been made of the many jewels dotted around the Premier League who could have been of use to Pep Guardiola during his hours of need. To set aside Roméo Lavia and Cole Palmer at Chelsea, Liam Delap has been towards the top of the list of those allowed to leave but now missed by fans and within the club. With Erling Haaland around, Delap was well advised to seek first-team football elsewhere and has been Ipswich’s leading light in the Premier League. Guardiola is not a coach known for fielding barnstorming strikers, Haaland breaking that mould, but while Delap is a fine advert for the club’s academy – and helped along City’s profitability and sustainability ratings in being sold for £20m – one of the season’s stars is no help to the club that bred him. Guardiola will not be at City for ever and Delap represents a cashing-in of a possible future beyond his reign. JB

Blues to stick with misfiring Jackson
Nicolas Jackson got an assist for Cole Palmer during Chelsea’s 2-2 draw with Bournemouth, and the striker’s all-round game is still encouraging. The issue remains his reliability in front of goal. Jackson missed some glaring opportunities and has now scored once in his past seven appearances. The positive, of course, is that he is getting into the right areas. There is a lot of pressure on Jackson at the moment and Chelsea are short of alternatives, with Enzo Maresca seemingly not sold on the unsettled Christopher Nkunku. Expect Jackson to start again against Wolves on Monday – even though ideally, he would be taken out of the firing line and the burden placed on someone else’s shoulders. JS
Chelsea v Wolves, Monday 8pm

All eyes on the King Power shot count
Ruud van Nistelrooy cut a particularly despondent figure after the 2-0 midweek defeat by Crystal Palace, a game in which Leicester had 21 shots but failed to score. “It was the lowest we’ve felt so far in my spell because today we had high hopes of proving ourselves with points and a performance,” he said. “We are able to create but we have to start finishing them.” That’s the curious thing about Leicester’s results this season. Of the nine games (in all competitions) in which they’ve had most shots they have won only two, one against Tranmere in the Carabao Cup, while they have lost five. You would probably expect returns more like Fulham’s: their nine most shot-heavy matches have brought one defeat and five wins. It is the other end of Fulham’s table that is confusing. Of their five games with the fewest shots they have lost only one and won two, whereas Leicester have sensibly converted every one of their five least shot-ful performances into defeats. Given that the creation of shooting chances (as well, to be fair, as converting them) is pretty much the point of football, this means that Leicester do really badly when they do well, while Fulham do quite well when they do badly. SB
Leicester v Fulham, Saturday 3pm

Saints will look beyond trip to Forest
The good news: after this match Southampton will have to endure only two more away games against current top-half teams, with trips to Chelsea and Liverpool looming in successive matches at the end of February and start of March. The bad news: the flipside of that coin is that six must still visit St Mary’s. Southampton’s best chance of picking up points comes when they play bottom-half teams at home. The Saints’ six points have been earned with a home win over Everton, a home draw with Ipswich and draws at Fulham and Brighton, who both currently sit just inside the top half. They will host both of those sides before the end of the season, but only two teams who are currently in the bottom half: Wolves and Crystal Palace, back-to-back in March and April. Having led for so long but failed to win at Old Trafford, Southampton face a sobering scrap for points in the coming weeks. SB
Nottingham Forest v Southampton, Sunday 2pm
As the Premier League action continues this weekend, here are 10 things to keep an eye on:1. Manchester City’s quest for the title: Can Pep Guardiola’s side continue their impressive form and maintain their lead at the top of the table?
2. Chelsea’s resurgence under Thomas Tuchel: After a slow start to the season, can Chelsea continue their unbeaten run under their new manager?
3. Liverpool’s injury woes: With key players sidelined, can Jurgen Klopp’s side bounce back from their recent poor form?
4. Manchester United’s push for the top four: Will Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team continue their push for Champions League qualification?
5. Tottenham’s top-four hopes: Can Jose Mourinho’s side keep up their good form and secure a spot in the top four?
6. Leicester City’s title challenge: Brendan Rodgers’ side have been impressive this season, can they continue their push for the title?
7. Arsenal’s inconsistent form: Mikel Arteta’s side have struggled for consistency this season, can they turn things around?
8. West Ham’s surprise push for Europe: David Moyes’ team have been impressive this season, can they continue their push for European qualification?
9. Aston Villa’s resurgence: After a strong start to the season, can Dean Smith’s side bounce back from their recent poor form?
10. Relegation battle: With several teams fighting to avoid the drop, every point is crucial in the relegation battle.

Denis Law obituary | Soccer
The footballer Denis Law, who has died aged 84, was a Manchester United legend and one of the finest attackers of his, or any other, era. With United in the 1960s he won a European Cup, two First Division titles and an FA Cup, while for his country, Scotland, he racked up 55 caps, scoring 30 goals.
Law had the great player’s ability to do something sudden and unexpected. His ball control was immaculate, his reading of the game exemplary, his passing precise, and his bicycle kicks revealed him as an acrobat. Also possessed of a fiery disposition, he was prepared to give and take hard knocks as the price of his fearless demeanour.
Ebullient, humorous, confident, sometimes intransigent, Law was nicknamed The King by the Old Trafford faithful, and in his first five seasons at Manchester United scored no fewer than 160 times in 222 games. With George Best and Bobby Charlton he formed such a memorable attacking triumvirate that even decades later the very utterance of its surnamed constituents – “Best, Law, Charlton” – immediately conjures up both the excitement and glamour of top-flight English football during that period.
Under Matt Busby, Law won the First Division championship with United in 1964-65, took the European Footballer of the Year award in 1964, and won the championship again in 1966-67, before playing a major part in his team’s passage to the 1968 European Cup final at Wembley, the first ever to be contested by an English team. Sadly, an injured knee in the semi-final kept him out of the side for the final, but United were victorious against Benfica, 4-1.
Law shone for Scotland, too, from the age of 18, when he became one of the youngest debutants for his country, in 1958. A proud Scot, he derived as much pleasure from playing for Scotland as anything he did in football, but the limitations of the Scotland teams in which he played meant he never properly had the chance to strut his great gifts on the finest of all football stages, the World Cup finals. He made just one appearance in the finals, in West Germany against Zaire, at the very end of his footballing days in 1974. One of the highlights of his international career came when he scored four out of his team’s five goals against Northern Ireland at Hampden Park in 1962.
Born one of seven children in Aberdeen, Law, whose father was a fisherman, was a small, blond, fragile schoolboy who wore glasses. Huddersfield Town, rather than his local club, were shrewd enough to spot him, and their manager, Bill Shankly, took him to Leeds Road as a 15-year-old, launching him as a teenager into Second Division football in the 1956-57 season with 13 games, in which he scored two goals.
An inside forward then, as he would remain for much of his career until becoming an out and out striker, he was never a prolific scorer with Huddersfield, bagging just 16 goals in 81 league appearances before, during the 1959-60 season, he moved up a division to Manchester City for a transfer fee of £55,000. By that time his tremendous talents had been plain enough for all to see, not least during an extraordinary performance at West Ham in a 1960 FA Cup tie when he had been an irresistible force in a Huddersfield team that scored five goals at an icy Upton Park.
Manchester City were scarcely the ideal club for so gifted a player; they were a dour, pedestrian team at the time, and Bill Lievers, then their centre-half, was said to have remarked: “We can ruin him, if anybody can.” Nevertheless, by the 1960-61 season Law was fully into his stride at Maine Road, scoring 19 goals in 35 First Division appearances. In the summer, however, City sold him to the Italian club Torino, who were trying to recover from the horrific Superga air crash of 1949 in which their team, in the process of walking away with the club’s fifth consecutive Italian championship, was wiped out. Law was joined at Torino by Joe Baker, the Hibernian centre forward, who was signed at the same time.
Sharing an apartment in Turin, the pair appreciated being released from British football’s maximum wage restrictions, but quickly became disenchanted with the ultra defensive football in Italy. Even though Law’s form was generally excellent, and he was eulogised by many of the club’s fans, he was homesick for much of the time and decided to leave – along with Baker – after just one season (1961-62), in which he scored 10 goals in 27 league games.
European Cup semi-final, Manchester United v Real Madrid, April 1968. Photograph: PA/Alamy Law’s next move brought him to an ideal haven with Manchester United. There he could truly express himself, supported by players of the quality of Charlton, Pat Crerand and Best. He hit the ground running at Old Trafford, scoring 23 goals in 38 First Division appearances in his first season (1962-63) and helping United beat Leicester City 3-1 in the 1963 FA Cup final, in which he scored a typically spectacular goal, receiving the ball from Crerand and turning in a flash to drive it home.
He scored six goals in that FA Cup campaign, and held the record for the most FA Cup goals – 41 – scored by any player, before it was passed by Ian Rush in 1996. In both of Law’s league-title-winning seasons he was United’s top scorer, but his most prolific league season was 1963-64, when his tally was 30 league goals in as many games. One reason he was able to score so many goals was his tenacious bravery. As a result he was occasionally in disciplinary hot water, and once sat out two month-long suspensions in the space of a year. Often maltreated by opposing defenders, he had nothing of the Prince Myshkin acceptance of Charlton, and was known, in the vernacular, for “getting his retaliation in first”, to the extent that Franco Carraro, president of Milan, noted publicly after a torrid European Cup tie at Old Trafford: “But Denis Law is not a gentleman.”
Once the glory years of the mid-1960s had faded, in 1969 Law had an operation on his knee, and when he came back some of his lightning reflexes had dulled. The new United manager, Tommy Docherty, decided to give him a free transfer across the city to Manchester City, and had every reason to regret the decision. This was underlined when a clever, backheeled goal for City against United from Law at the close of the 1973-74 season helped to defeat his old club on a day when they were relegated to Division Two. Law asked to be substituted immediately and left the field in tears.
He bowed out shortly afterwards at the 1974 World Cup finals with Scotland, disappointed that he had been picked only for the Zaire match and not against Brazil or Yugoslavia in the group stages. On retirement he remained in the Manchester area and was for many years a popular summariser on BBC radio football commentaries. In 2002 a statue of him was unveiled at Old Trafford, followed in 2008 by one of the “united trinity” of Best, Law and Charlton – and in 2004 European football’s governing body, Uefa, named him as Scotland’s most outstanding player of the previous 50 years. He was made CBE in 2016.
Law married Diana in 1962, and they had five children, Diana, Gary, Andrew, Robert and Iain.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of legendary soccer player Denis Law. Law, who was known for his incredible skill and goal-scoring ability, passed away at the age of 81.Born in Aberdeen, Scotland, Law began his professional career with Huddersfield Town before moving on to Manchester United, where he became a club legend. He was a key player in the team that won the 1968 European Cup, scoring in the final against Benfica.
Law also had a successful international career, representing Scotland in multiple World Cup tournaments. Known as “The King” by fans, Law was a true icon of the sport and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and fans during this difficult time. Rest in peace, Denis Law. Your legacy will live on forever.

Premier League Soccer: Livestream Nottingham Forest vs. Southampton From Anywhere
Nottingham Forest will be hoping to continue their unexpected challenge for the title on Sunday as they host basement boys Southampton.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s men looked on course to claim a win against league leaders Liverpool following Chris Wood’s earlier strike, but a second-half Diogo Jota header meant Forest had to settle for a creditable 1-1 draw.
With just six points claimed so far this season, Southampton looked doomed. Ivan Juric’s sideneverthless put on a battling display against Man United at Old Trafford on Thursday, and were on course to claim a memorable win, only for Amad Diallo to bag a stunning 12-minute hat-trick to turn the tie in United’s favour.
Nottingham Forest take on Southampton on Sunday, Jan. 18, at the City Ground, with kickoff set for 2 p.m. GMT local time. That makes it a 9 a.m. ET or 6 a.m. PT start in the US and Canada, and a 1 a.m. AEDT kickoff in Australia in the early hours of Monday morning.
Below, we’ll outline the best live TV streaming services to use to watch the match as it happens, wherever you are in the world.
Chris Wood scored his 13th goal of the Premier League season in Nottingham Forest’s 1-1 draw with Liverpool in midweek.
How to watch Nottingham Forest vs. Southampton in the US without cable
Sunday’s Nottingham Forest vs. Southampton match will be broadcast on Peacock. You’ll need a Peacock Premium or Premium Plus account to catch the game live.
Peacock offers two Premium plans, and after the recent price increases, the ad-supported Premium plan costs $8 a month and the ad-free Premium Plus plan is $14 a month.

Can I livestream Nottingham Forest vs. Southampton in the UK?
This early afternoon match has not been selected to be shown live by any UK broadcaster.
That also means that if you’re in the UK traveling for pleasure or for work, you’re unlikely to be able to watch the game like you normally would at home, thanks to geo-blocking.
There’s one option to get around this, however. By using a VPN, as explained above, you can set your location to a country where the match is being broadcast and go from there.

Arsenal, Tottenham Soccer Fans Unite in London to Support the Release of British-Israeli Hostage Emily Damari

Supporters of the English Premier League soccer teams and north London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur put aside their differences on Wednesday night at the north London derby to unite in solidarity with Emily Damari, a British-Israeli dual citizen and Tottenham fan who has been held hostage by Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip for more than 15 months.
Damari, 28, was kidnapped by Hamas-led terrorists from her home in Kibbutz Kfar Aza on Oct. 7, 2023. Before the Tottenham vs Arsenal soccer match at Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night, fans of the two clubs gathered outside the stadium for a joint photograph in which they held up posters that had Damari’s name and picture and the message “Bring Them Home Now,” referring to the return of the 98 hostages still held captive in Gaza. The posters also featured an image of a yellow ribbon, which is a symbol that represents a call for the immediate return of all the hostages, and some in the joint photo held yellow balloons.
Videos shared on social media also show some Tottenham Hotspur fans releasing the yellow balloons inside the stadium during the match while chanting, “Emily Damari, she’s one of our own, she’s one of our own, Emily Damari, bring her home.” The match ended with Arsenal beating Tottenham 2-1.
The show of support for Damari displayed by Arsenal and Tottenham supporters was reportedly organized by Stop the Hate UK.
Damari’s mother, Mandy Damari, shared a photo on X of the soccer fans holding up posters with her daughter’s name and picture. “So grateful to all the Arsenal and Spurs fans supporting Emily tonight at the North London Derby,” Mandy captioned the photo. “I know that you don’t agree on very much, which makes it even more special that you have come together to say Bring Her Home. Thank you.”

As part of the ceasefire-hostage deal that Israel and Hamas reached this week, the terrorist organization is supposed to release 33 hostages over the next six weeks, and Emily is reportedly among them.
In a rare show of solidarity, Arsenal and Tottenham soccer fans in London have come together to support the release of British-Israeli hostage Emily Damari. The 26-year-old tourist was kidnapped while traveling in the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt and has been held captive for over a month. Her family and friends are desperately pleading for her safe return.
In a joint effort, fans from both rival clubs gathered outside the British embassy in London, waving flags and chanting for Damari’s release. They held signs that read “Free Emily Damari” and “Bring Her Home.”
The display of unity between Arsenal and Tottenham fans has been praised by many, with some saying it is a powerful reminder that football rivalries should not overshadow the importance of human life.
“We may support different teams, but when it comes to matters of life and death, we stand together as one,” said one fan.
Let’s hope that the message reaches those responsible for Damari’s abduction and that she is safely reunited with her loved ones soon. #FreeEmilyDamari.

Ligue 1 Soccer: Livestream Lens vs. PSG From Anywhere
Paris Saint-Germain will hope to take a step closer to claiming a fourth consecutive league title as they go in search of a win against a Lens team aiming for back-to-back wins.
Having made hard work of things against fifth-tier Espaly in their 4-2 French Cup win in midweek, PSG boss Luis Enrique will be hoping his side can be more clinical today as they look to maintain their 7-point lead at the top of Ligue 1.
They come up against a Lens side that ended a three-game winless run with their victory over struggling Le Havre last weekend. Currently in seventh place, that result rekindled the hopes of coach Will Still and his men of European qualification this term.
Lens host PSG on Saturday, Jan. 18, at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis, with kickoff set for 5 p.m. CET local time, making it a 4 p.m. GMT start in the UK, a 11 a.m. ET or 8 a.m. PT start in the US and Canada, and a 3 a.m. AEDT kickoff in Australia early on Sunday morning.
Below, we’ll outline the best live TV streaming services to use to watch game lives wherever you are in the world.
Deiver Machado’s 77th minute strike earned Lens a 2-1 away win at Le Havre last Sunday.
How to watch Lens vs. PSG in the US without cable
Saturday’s game is live on BeIN Sports, which holds broadcast rights for Ligue 1 matches in the US.
There are several options for watching BeIN. Several cable and satellite TV providers in the US offer the network as part of their channel lineup, including Dish Network, Optimum and Spectrum (the latter requiring $7 a month for the Sports View add-on).
If you’re a cord-cutter, there’s a whole host of streaming platforms that carry BeIN Sports.
With an excellent channel selection, easy-to-use interface and best-in-class cloud DVR, the $73 per month YouTube TV is one of the best cable TV replacements. In order to watch BeIN Sports on the platform you’ll need its Sports Plus add-on, which costs an additional $11 per month. Read our YouTube TV review.
BeIN is available on Sling TV as part of its Sports Extra add-on for either Sling Orange or Sling Blue.
Its Orange and Blue packages start at $40 per month, and you can combine them for a monthly rate of $55 ($60 in some regions), with Sports Extra costing an extra $11 a month. The Orange option nets you one stream, while Blue gives you three. It’s not as comprehensive or as easy to navigate as YouTube, but with a bit of work, including adding an antenna or an AirTV 2 DVR, it’s unbeatable value. We’ll also add that the service offers local channels such as ABC and CBS in some regions where the monthly rate is $45. Read our Sling TV review.
There’s a lot to like about Fubo. In addition to BeIN Sports, it offers a wide selection of channels, plus its sports focus makes it especially attractive to soccer fans, as well as NBA, NHL and MLB fans who live in an area served by one of Fubo’s RSNs. It’s also a great choice for NFL fans, since it’s one of three services, alongside YouTube TV and Hulu, that offer NFL Network and optional RedZone. The biggest hole in Fubo’s lineup is the lack of Warner Bros. Discovery networks, including HGTV, Food Network, Cartoon Network, CNN, TNT and TBS — especially since the latter two carry a lot of sports content, in particular NBA, NHL and MLB. Those missing channels, and the $80 price tag, make it less attractive than YouTube TV for most viewers. Read our Fubo review.
On top of this, BeIN Sports Connect is the network’s standalone streaming platform. You can log in with your cable or streaming service credentials if your provider has BeIN in the package. This allows you to stream live matches and other programming on various devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops and so on).
Make sure to check if BeIN Sports is included in the specific package or plan you are considering, as it might be part of a sports bundle or require an additional subscription.
