I ordered this product to try because I have eczema and dry/flaky skin on my face. My friend had recommended some hypochlorous acid spray and this product has been great for my face.

I’ve used this on flaky parts of my face and the flaky skin just disappeared! It was great because prior to that, I would try and moisturize and hide the flakiness, but this product is so much more effective than lotion.

The spray feels just like water on the skin so there is no unpleasant sensations (i.e. burning toner, or sticky cream) at all. It only takes a minute to absorb and take effect which is great especially if you have itchy skin.

Overall, I am really happy with this product and will continue to use it as a part of my skincare routine. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who has dry skin on their face – especially as we are approaching winter.

Lastly, the bottle is only 60mL which makes it perfect if you would like to bring this product along with you when you travel.

This isn’t my introduction to hypochlorous acid, having been introduced to it about 9 months ago. Since then I have tried this for various areas of my face and body and in various applications. I’ve seen obvious success in helping my new cartilage piercing heal, which isn’t a fast nor easy process. Salt water was recommended, but a skin specialist agreed that hypochlorous acid would be effective. And it was! And as I was applying this to my face at least twice a day post cleaning, this was one additional spray.
Pristine1817 hypochlorous acid seems every bit as good as the other brands’ offerings. The effects have been the same or so similar I’m not able to tell the difference. I do notice that the % level for different brands’ HOCL has varied by up .02%. With Pristine’s being in the middle at .016%. The two stand-outs I’ve noticed are Pristine does have a slightly stronger “bleach” smell to it than my one similar product. But this is a known and expected aspect of hypochlorous acid, being neither a negative nor a positive. The other is the spray on this travel sized container is on the stiff side, making depressing it a bit of a challenge for my older, weaker fingers, prompting me to down grade this the one star (would have been a half star if possible). But the travel sized container is exactly the reason I got this Pristine product. I now have a smaller container to take with me when I travel. It also is convenient to pop into my purse when the hot humid weather reappears as I plan on using this to spray my face during the day to help with cooling down as well as fight the bacteria buildup that can happen when sweating. And the smaller bottle is no bad thing on my bathroom counter, taking up much less space than a full sized bottle.
Am liking this brand’s hypochlorous acid and have my fingers crossed that the pump spray loosens up a bit for me.

This is a lovely travel-sized hypochlorous acid. This product is supposed to cleanse and soothe the skin and is, in theory, appropriate for all skin types. My skin tends to run dry and I am in my late 40s so I am very curious to see how it responds to this product. i’m hoping it will be refreshing and rejuvenating on my long haul flight this Saturday. I will report back if I have any irritation, but it’s supposed to be quite mild. This particular product is manufactured in Canada, which always makes me feel more comfortable because I know we have strong regulations.

I love this spray! I’ve started using hypochlorite acid recently and it’s a game changer for my skin. Leaves me feeling refreshed and I literally never break out – ever – since using it. It also reduces redness and cleanses. Great for after gym, etc. This is a great travel sized bottle and sprays evenly and well on skin. It is also a good balancing acid spray. I’ve tried another brand that was slightly stronger and dried my skin a little – this one seems much better.
