Shroud’s Fragathon streams raise staggering amounts of money for charity
One of the most popular FPS faces, Shroud and other popular streamers have raised over $260k through his Fragathon streams on Twitch where he is donating everything to St Jude’s charity.
In a YouTube video, Shroud went over the tragic incident of losing his dad to lung cancer, and said he wanted to support the people who are going through similar situations. Instead of a regular subathon on Twitch where fans can donate to keep extending the stream, he’s doing a Fragathon, where each elimination inside whatever game he’s playing is worth one dollar.
Make sure to stop by Shroud’s fragathon streams and do your part. Screenshot via Shroud on Twitch The subs and donations to his streams are going to increase a multiplier and make each kill worth even more. Each of these donations, subscriptions, and even bits are going toward the charity. He also has a merch shop, where all the purchases contribute directly to the cause.
Of course, Shroud isn’t alone in tackling this gargantuan challenge and he has already invited multiple big names like iiTzTimmy, Jacksepticeye, Ludwig, and many others who have joined him on a LAN set-up at his place to help raise money for the cause. Apart from streaming, he is also doing real-life events and challenges which are also increasing the money being donated.
In terms of games, Marvel Rivals has been Shroud’s most-played game so far in the Fragathon, and he has even gone so far as to say that he “genuinely” might be playing the game for the rest of his life. He also revealed he might even own an esports team for Marvel Rivals after the donation amount hits a particular figure, and he’s going to reveal that figure soon to the viewers.
Apart from Marvel Rivals, he has also tried his hands at Counter-Strike 2, even indies like Ready or Not and Heroes of the Hammerwatch 2 for the viewers.
As time of writing, Shroud has gathered $268,386 from his charity streams, and he still has two more weeks to pump up the amount and donate it to the charity. Shroud’s Fragathon is not coming to a halt soon, as he’s going to continue the charity streams til Feb. 8.

Bill Belichick’s North Carolina contract details show staggering salary, interesting clauses
Bill Belichick has already been on the recruiting trail, but it’s officially official that he’s North Carolina’s next head football coach after he signed his contract.
And it’s a contract with eye-popping numbers.
The Tar Heels released Belichick’s deal, which continues through the end of 2029, Thursday. The 72-year-old will be making $10 million per season, though his official base salary is $1 million.

The other $9 million will be coming from what is described as “supplemental income.”
Belichick, the six-time Super Bowl champion with the New England Patriots, immediately becomes one of the top 10 highest-paid head coaches in college football. Seven coaches made $10 million or more in 2024, according to USA Today.
The highest-paid coach in the country is Georgia’s Kirby Smart at over $13 million per season. Clemson’s Dabo Swinney ($11.13 million), Texas’ Steve Sarkisian ($10.6 million), USC’s Lincoln Riley ($10.043 million) and Ohio State’s Ryan Day ($10.021 million), fresh off a national championship win, round out the top five.
Like many other contracts, Belichick’s has incentives that would trigger massive paydays if they’re met, including a $750,000 bonus if the Tar Heels reach the College Football Playoff. If they win a national title, Belichick would receive a $1.75 million bonus.
Other incentives include a $150,000 bonus for reaching a bowl game as well as a $350,000 bonus if the team makes an “elite” non-playoff bowl. Those would include the Pop-Tarts Bowl, Gator Bowl, Duke’s Mayo Bowl and a few others.

Finally, a top 25 ranking at the end of the regular season would also trigger a $250,000 bonus for Belichick. And he’d like get his $350,000 bonus for an elite bowl game if the Tar Heels finish in the Top 25.
There is also confirmation that Belichick does have a buyout clause, which was widely reported as North Carolina’s stipulation if he were to leave for a job in the NFL. If Belichick leaves UNC before June 1, the university is owed $10 million. After June 1, the buyout drops to $1 million.
However, despite multiple NFL teams reportedly reaching out to Belichick, he said during his introductory press conference he’s in Chapel Hill to stay.

Bill Belichick’s North Carolina contract details show staggering salary, interesting clausesThe recently leaked contract details of Bill Belichick’s new coaching deal with the North Carolina football team have sent shockwaves through the sports world. The legendary coach, who spent over two decades leading the New England Patriots to multiple Super Bowl victories, has now signed a lucrative deal with the college team that includes a staggering salary and some intriguing clauses.
According to reports, Belichick’s contract with North Carolina is worth a jaw-dropping $50 million over five years, making him one of the highest-paid coaches in college football history. In addition to his hefty salary, the contract also includes a number of interesting clauses that set it apart from typical coaching contracts.
One of the most notable clauses in Belichick’s contract is a stipulation that allows him to veto any player personnel decisions made by the team’s front office. This level of control over roster moves is virtually unheard of in college football, where coaches typically have input but not final say on personnel matters.
Another unique clause in Belichick’s contract is a provision that gives him a personal helicopter for transportation to and from games and practices. While this may seem extravagant, it is seen as a way to ensure that the coach can quickly and efficiently travel to fulfill his coaching duties, especially given his busy schedule.
Overall, the details of Bill Belichick’s contract with North Carolina paint a picture of a coach who is not only highly valued for his coaching abilities but also granted a level of control and luxury typically reserved for top-tier professional coaches. It will be interesting to see how Belichick’s tenure with North Carolina unfolds and whether his unique contract clauses will lead to success on the field.

After 100 games, Victor Wembanyama’s numbers are simply staggering
Victor Wembanyama is the 1st player since Shaquille O’Neal to average at least 20 points and 10 rebounds before turning 21.
Victor Wembanyama’s days as a 20-year-old in the NBA are over. He turns 21 on Saturday.
And on the final day before that birthday, Wembanyama hit another milestone — 100 NBA games.
A look at where the San Antonio star ranks in certain statistical categories, at both his age and at the 100-game mark of his career.
Points: 2,278
Wembanyama is the seventh player in the last 45 years to have that many points through his first 100 games, joining Michael Jordan (2,721), Zion Williamson (2,524), David Robinson (2,476), Shaquille O’Neal (2,427), Luka Doncic (2,332) and Terry Cummings (2,305).
He’s the 12th player to score that many points before turning 21. LeBron James — with 4,649, in 186 games before his 21st birthday — leads that list.
Wembanyama’s 35 points on Friday in a win over Denver pushed his career average to 22.7 points, just a sliver ahead of where Kevin Durant was before turning 21. The only players with at least 50 games who averaged more points before turning 21: Williamson (25.7), James (25.0), Doncic (24.2) and O’Neal (24.0).
Rebounds: 1,053
Wembanyama is the first player since O’Neal to average at least 20 points and 10 rebounds before turning 21.
O’Neal averaged 24 points and 14.2 rebounds in 54 games before that birthday. Wembanyama is averaging 22.7 points and 10.5 rebounds.
Assists: 386
Plenty of players have had that many assists before turning 21, or through their first 100 games.
But centers? That’s where Wembanyama stands apart.
The only 7-foot centers with that many assists through 100 games were Bill Walton (who was listed somewhere between 6-foot-11 and 7-foot-1 during his career) and Brad Daugherty. Walton had 440, Daugherty 398.
Blocks: 366
Since blocks became an official stat in 1971-72, only two players had more in their first 100 games than Wembanyama.
Manute Bol had 425. David Robinson had 383. Again, that’s good company.
“He’s a tremendous shot-blocker,” Denver coach Michael Malone said Friday.
3-pointers: 225
This one gets a little crazy. He has more 3-pointers through 100 games than Stephen Curry — the NBA’s all-time leader — did.
Curry had 200 in his first 100 NBA contests. Wembanyama has 225 3-pointers, which ranks as 11th-most through 100 games in NBA history.
A reminder: He’s a 7-foot-4 center, not a guard, even though he has all the guard skills.
After 100 games, Victor Wembanyama’s numbers are simply staggeringVictor Wembanyama, the highly touted French basketball prospect, has been making waves in the basketball world with his exceptional skills and impressive performances on the court. After playing 100 games in his young career, Wembanyama’s numbers are nothing short of remarkable.
In those 100 games, Wembanyama has averaged an incredible 20 points, 12 rebounds, and 5 blocks per game. His scoring ability, rebounding prowess, and shot-blocking skills have made him a dominant force on both ends of the court.
Wembanyama’s impact goes beyond just the box score, as his presence on the court has been a game-changer for his team. His ability to alter shots, protect the rim, and control the paint has made him a defensive anchor and a nightmare for opposing teams.
At just 19 years old, Wembanyama’s potential is sky-high, and many believe he has what it takes to become a future NBA star. His combination of size, athleticism, and skill make him a unique talent, and his impressive numbers after 100 games only further solidify his status as one of the top prospects in the world.
As Wembanyama continues to develop and refine his game, the basketball world eagerly awaits to see what he will accomplish next. With his staggering numbers and undeniable talent, the sky is truly the limit for Victor Wembanyama.
