Will Andrew Berry and Kevin Stefanski Continue to Lead the Cleveland Browns into the Critical 2025 Offseason?
It is hard to conceive that a team that had such high expectations and finished with three or even four wins would keep the status quo going forward.
With ‘Black Monday’ fast approaching next week, what will happen?
Many fans think that both Berry and Stefanski should be let go or at least one of them. If the choice is made to let one or both go, who replaces them?
The Browns have been guilty of firing a coach or general manager without having an upgrade replacement lined up and after going through a long and arduous search process, end up with their third-, fourth- or even fifth-choice.
Mike Vrabel, who is already being talked about as a high target on NFL team’s search list, spent the season as a consultant with the Browns and he would have seemed to be an obvious choice to replace Stefanski, if the owners wanted to make a change.
Now, that Vrabel’s contract with the Browns has ended, it is likely he will explore what other opportunities are out there for him.
Typically, general managers hire head coaches, but Stefanski was hired before Berry and both report to the ownership. Both Berry and Stefanski were given contract extensions together prior to the 2024 season with one year still on their original contracts.
If Berry has any say in a possible firing of Stefanski, he did not sound as though that was a possibility when he addressed the media on Nov. 6 during the team’s bye week, when the Browns were 2-7.
Berry was asked if he and Stefanski were concerned they would not be able to see their plans through.
“I’ll be honest, neither of us really think of it that way,” Berry said. “I’d say number one, to myself, I always view myself as a steward of the organization in this role and really my focus is on doing the things that are in my control, short-term and long-term, to make sure it’s in the best interest of the franchise.
As the Cleveland Browns head into the critical 2025 offseason, all eyes are on general manager Andrew Berry and head coach Kevin Stefanski. After turning around a struggling franchise and leading the Browns to their first playoff win in over two decades, the duo has established themselves as key figures in the team’s future success.Despite facing some challenges during the 2024 season, including injuries to key players and tough losses, Berry and Stefanski have shown resilience and adaptability in their roles. With a talented roster and promising young players, the Browns have a bright future ahead, but the upcoming offseason will be crucial in shaping the team’s trajectory.
Will Berry and Stefanski continue to lead the Browns into the 2025 season and beyond? Many fans and analysts believe they have the vision and leadership to take the team to new heights. However, with high expectations and pressure to deliver results, the pressure is on for the dynamic duo to make the right moves and put the Browns in a position to succeed.
As the offseason approaches, all eyes will be on Berry and Stefanski as they navigate the challenges of building a competitive team in the competitive AFC North. Only time will tell if they have what it takes to lead the Browns to sustained success, but one thing is for sure – the future looks bright in Cleveland with Berry and Stefanski at the helm.

Why are the Browns sticking with Andrew Berry & Kevin Stefanski? – Terry Pluto
The Cleveland Browns have had their fair share of ups and downs over the years, but one thing that remains consistent is their commitment to Andrew Berry and Kevin Stefanski. Despite the team’s struggles in recent seasons, the Browns’ front office has decided to stick with their general manager and head coach. In this post, we’ll explore the reasons why the Browns are choosing to keep Berry and Stefanski at the helm.First and foremost, both Berry and Stefanski have shown promise in their respective roles. Berry, who became the youngest general manager in NFL history when he was hired by the Browns in 2020, has made some savvy moves in the front office, including drafting key players like Baker Mayfield and Nick Chubb. Stefanski, on the other hand, led the Browns to their first playoff appearance in nearly two decades in his first season as head coach.
Additionally, the Browns’ front office recognizes the importance of continuity in building a successful team. Constant turnover at the GM and head coach positions can lead to instability and lack of progress. By sticking with Berry and Stefanski, the Browns are hoping to establish a sense of consistency and stability within the organization.
Furthermore, both Berry and Stefanski have earned the trust and respect of the players and coaching staff. Their leadership styles have been praised by those within the organization, and they have shown a willingness to collaborate and work together to achieve the team’s goals.
In conclusion, the Browns’ decision to stick with Andrew Berry and Kevin Stefanski is a testament to their belief in the duo’s abilities and potential. By providing them with the time and resources needed to succeed, the Browns are laying the foundation for a bright future for the franchise.
