Sterling fails to shine as Arsenal’s Champions League draw looms

Here’s Ian Mills with his latest Three Things We Learned after Arsenal’s Champions League  win at Girona

We secured a top three finish in the Champions League ‘League’ phase with a win in Spain in our final game of the opening eight fixtures.

Here is Ian Mills’ latest Three Things We Learned series piece below:-

1 – Nwaneri keeps on getting better –

A first Champions League start and a first goal for our wonderfully gifted Hale End graduate with the man of the match award to boot.

He has now scored in every competition he has played in this campaign and took his overall goalscoring tally to six so far with a great strike which was bent into the bottom corner for what tuned out to the winner in this entertaining clash.

He has taken to the right-wing position with aplomb and already offers a genuine goal threat in every game he plays.

At 17 he is clearly only going to get better and what a great time all us Gooners are going to have watching him blossom into a major first team star.

2 – Impressive Champions League form offers a chance of silverware –

Whilst finishing in third place in the League format was great to see, our record from eight games was really good, with six wins, a draw and a single defeat.

We conceded only three times and kept five clean sheets in total. While some of our fixtures were not overly entertaining (a fair summation of quite a lot of games in this new format) our strong defence helped to see us over the line and is the foundation upon which our Champions League hopes are built this season.

3 – Loan players fail to shine once more –

When we were awarded our second penalty of the evening, I assumed that either Martin Odegaard or Kai Havertz would take the spot kick.

You would have got long odds on Raheem Sterling being most Gooners first choice, and I was not at all confident he would score.

As it turned out, it was a reasonable save (albeit a good height for the Girona goalkeeper) and the taker looked crestfallen.

Whatever his confidence levels before the penalty, they are certain to have nosedived further still.

While Sterling was struggling in attack, Neto was having a debut to forget in goal. Having been caught out way off his line for Girona’s goal he then inexplicably tried to save it while out of his area.

I accept he has warmed our bench all season so far which is never an easy thing to do, however it is to be hoped that the injury that kept David Raya of the matchday squad is not too serious and that he can return for the crucial with Manchester City at the weekend.

The bid for Ollie Watkins shows that the club have money to spend on them right type of forward – let’s hope can either sign him or someone else to help us score the goals we are going to need for the remainder of the season ahead.

As the UEFA Champions League draw approaches, all eyes are on Arsenal and their star player Raheem Sterling. However, Sterling has failed to shine in recent matches, leaving fans concerned about the team’s chances in the upcoming tournament.

Despite his impressive performances in the past, Sterling has struggled to find his form this season. His lackluster performances have been a cause for worry among Arsenal supporters, who were hoping for a standout player to lead the team to victory in the Champions League.

With the draw looming, Arsenal’s hopes for a successful campaign rest on Sterling’s ability to rediscover his best form. The team will need him at his best if they are to compete with the top clubs in Europe and make a deep run in the competition.

As the pressure mounts, all eyes will be on Sterling to deliver when it matters most. Only time will tell if he can rise to the occasion and help Arsenal achieve their Champions League dreams.

  • Gary Lineker has his say on the poor form of “brilliant” Raheem Sterling

As many of us have witnessed this season, it’s been a little up and down performance wise.

Taking apart teams one week with some of the best football we’ve seen at the Emirates in years, and looking sluggish and moribund as an attacking force the next.

Frustrating? Certainly. Such is the journey we are on as Arsenal slowly but surely climb their way to the Premier League summit.

Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but soon. Trust in the process and all that.

For all of the media narratives that get peddled about this beloved club, the fact remains that it’s still on an upward trajectory.

It goes without saying that a trophy or two wouldn’t be sniffed at, but the pillars are being put in place so that the first-team can flourish for years to come.

There have been some brilliant success stories over the course of Mikel Arteta’s tenure, whilst some players haven’t really lived up to expectations.

Raheem Sterling could be said to be one of the latter, and those searching for a reason why his form has been so poor might cock an ear in Gary Lineker’s direction.

One goal and two assists in 16 games (transfermarkt) shows a player in evident decline.

Lineker believes the levels he reached earlier in his career could be to blame.

Speaking on the Rest is Football podcast, the Match of the Day host noted:

“I love Raheem, I always have. He has been a brilliant player for so long.

“Do you know what I like about Raheem? He is always willing to put himself up for it. He is never afraid.

“If there was a penalty next week, if he was allowed, he’d put grab that ball and go and take it.

“I admire him for it. It’s one of the reasons that he has had the career he’s had.

“I know it’s not been probably what he would have wanted over the last couple of years but I wonder if that’s because he played so much football at such a young age.”

Whether he can recapture some of that early career form is debatable, and the likelihood is he’ll remain a squad player for Arteta at best.

Former England striker and football pundit Gary Lineker has weighed in on the recent poor form of Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling, calling the player “brilliant” but expressing concern over his recent performances.

In a recent interview, Lineker praised Sterling’s talent and ability on the pitch, describing him as a “brilliant player” with immense potential. However, Lineker also highlighted Sterling’s recent struggles and questioned his form in front of goal.

“Raheem Sterling is a fantastic player, there’s no denying that. But his recent performances have left a lot to be desired,” Lineker said. “He’s not been as clinical in front of goal as we know he can be, and that’s a concern for both Manchester City and England.”

Lineker’s comments come after a series of underwhelming performances from Sterling, who has struggled to find the back of the net in recent matches. Despite his undeniable talent, Sterling’s form has raised questions about his role in the Manchester City team and his place in the England squad.

“It’s important for Raheem to get back to his best form as soon as possible,” Lineker added. “He’s a key player for both club and country, and he needs to start delivering on the pitch.”

Whether Sterling can rediscover his form remains to be seen, but with the support of fans and football experts like Gary Lineker, there’s hope that the talented forward can bounce back and prove his doubters wrong.

  • Has Raheem Sterling already started his last game for Arsenal?

Mikel Arteta handed Raheem Sterling a rare start as Arsenal looked to navigate their final Champions League league-phase match against Girona on Wednesday night.

Despite some positive flashes early on during the 2-1 win in Spain, Sterling’s performance was overshadowed by a missed penalty in the dying embers of the contest.

Sterling’s loan spell from Chelsea hasn’t quite got going — and on the latest episode of Handbrake Off, Ian Stone was joined by Art de Roché and Adrian Clarke to discuss the winger’s struggles.

A partial transcript has been edited for clarity and length. The full episode is available on the “Handbrake Off” feed on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.

Ian: Let’s talk about Raheem Sterling. I actually thought that he started pretty well. I liked his energy and I liked how he was playing trying to make those little triangles. But he shouldn’t have taken a penalty. I think we can all see that he didn’t look particularly confident. Is that going to affect him? He’s not an inexperienced player, you have bad moments on a football pitch — that’s how it works. But the best ones do recover quickly, and it’s not like he hasn’t been there and done that. But it’s not happening for him at Arsenal, is it?

Art: I don’t think the penalty should have too big an impact. Like you, I thought he started the game well and was probably Arsenal’s best player in the first 10 minutes off that left. You saw him have an actual spark in the way he carried the ball. The little pass he made for Calafiori’s offside goal was nice as well. But it’s just annoying and frustrating that it’s almost a similar story to the week where Arsenal played Manchester United and then Tottenham.

He was really bright against Manchester United and then you come to the Tottenham game and he’s a shadow of that. That all just seemed to happen in the space of one game yesterday and it’s hard to see him being an option from the start in the Premier League or knockout stages of the Champions League off the wings. It’s just not quite happened for him.

Ian: Adrian, he’s not starting another game, is he? To be fair, he might come off the bench for 10 or 15 minutes. But unless there are injuries he’s not starting, is he?

Adrian: No, he hasn’t grabbed the opportunity, I think that’s fair to say. Nice in flashes but probably run down too many blind alleys. Just lacking confidence. The penalty incident did annoy me a little bit, I’ve got to say. I thought it was the wrong time to give out a sort of ‘pick-me-up’ penalty. There were much better penalty-takers available.

I say this because Raheem Sterling has now converted two of his last eight penalties excluding shootouts. So, he’d missed two of seven outside of shootouts (before Girona). Anyone who’s missed two of seven shouldn’t be on pens again, that’s a terrible ratio.

And that could have cost us; if that goal was allowed to stand that they scored towards the end and made it 2-2, we would drop down to fifth. Fifth place means you could easily get City, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, any of those teams in the last-16. So, it really mattered, and I was hugely surprised that they went for that ‘pick-me-up’ pen.

Ian: Do you think he plays with his head down a little bit? I play five-a-side on a Monday and there are certain players you think, ‘Get your head up, get your head up, just see!’ I think it happens at all levels, it really does.

You get players who are so concentrated, they’re running and they’re just looking at the ball and they don’t see the runs (and) don’t see you’re waving. You don’t want to shout because the marker will come across so you just sort of see if you can wave. I get that feeling with Raheem Sterling, there are passes on — quick first-time passes back the other way — and he doesn’t make them because he hasn’t got his head up.

Adrian: We’ve all got the same frustrations. When I think about Raheem and his best moments, for me they’re scoring goals inside the six-yard box throughout his career. And he very rarely pops up in those positions for Arsenal, I think he almost plays too wide. I’d love to see him just make those runs in as a second striker.

Ian: Yeah (runs) round the back. Against Fulham when Martinelli played that ball in that Saka got on the end of and the goal was disallowed; that’s the sort of position Sterling often used to find himself in for Manchester City. Around the back coming in on a cross and he’d suddenly sweep it in. He got 20 goals one season doing that.

There has been much speculation surrounding Raheem Sterling’s future at Arsenal, with rumors swirling that the talented winger may be on the outs at the club. After a lackluster performance in his last game, many fans and analysts are questioning whether Sterling has already played his final match in an Arsenal shirt.

Despite showing flashes of brilliance throughout his time at the club, Sterling has struggled to consistently perform at the level expected of him. With younger, more promising talents emerging in the squad, it is possible that Arsenal may be looking to move on from Sterling in order to make room for new players.

While nothing has been confirmed yet, it is worth considering whether Sterling’s days at Arsenal are numbered. Only time will tell if he will be given another chance to prove himself, or if his last game in an Arsenal jersey has indeed already come to pass. Stay tuned for updates on this developing story.

  • Sterling K. Brown turned down ‘bad guy’ role on ‘The Boys,’ wants to return to Marvel

Sterling K. Brown could have broken bad on The Boys, but he says he turned down a season-long villain arc on the popular comic book series.

In a recent interview with Variety, the This Is Us alum and Paradise star revealed that he was heartbroken about saying no to showrunner Eric Kripke‘s offer (the two had previously worked together on Supernatural).

“I think it was a bad guy [role], because it was very tempting,” Brown said. “But a full-season arc, they are in Toronto — it’s tough. Listen, these are champagne problems I’m talking about here! But because I’m blessed enough to already have certain things in place, I get a chance to be a bit more choosy [about what projects I do].”

Brown did not reveal any more details on which role he was offered (and the list of potential villains on the Amazon series is quite long). A representative for The Boys told Entertainment Weekly they had “nothing to confirm” regarding Brown’s comments.

Brown got a small taste of comic book adaptations when he appeared in 2018’s Black Panther as N’Jobu, King T’Chaka’s (John Kani) exiled younger brother and T’Challa’s (Chadwick Boseman) uncle. And he’s dying to make his return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“I feel like Marvel should be like Law & Order — after a certain number of years, you gotta reset, you get to come back,” Brown said. “I would love to come back to the Marvel universe, absolutely. Please have me back. Please, please. Thank you.”

Sign up for Entertainment Weekly’s free daily newsletter to get breaking TV news, exclusive first looks, recaps, reviews, interviews with your favorite stars, and more.

This is hardly the first time Brown has made a public plea to play a comic book role. Back in 2017, before he joined the MCU, he tweeted that he wanted to play soldier-turned-superhero John Stewart, a.k.a. the Green Lantern.

“Dear powers that be, if you are looking for someone to play John Stewart, I humbly submit my name,” Brown wrote at the time. He signed off with the valediction “Namaste” and the hashtag “#GreenLanternCorps.”

Last fall, HBO announced that it cast Aaron Pierre in the role of John Stewart for an upcoming DC superhero series.

Sterling K. Brown, beloved actor known for his roles in hit TV shows like “This Is Us” and “The People v. O.J. Simpson,” recently revealed that he turned down a ‘bad guy’ role on the popular Amazon Prime series “The Boys.” In a recent interview, Brown explained that he was offered a role as a villain on the superhero show but ultimately decided to pass on the opportunity.

However, Brown did express interest in returning to the world of superheroes, specifically in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He mentioned that he would love to play a role in a Marvel movie or TV show, as he is a fan of the franchise and has always been drawn to the world of superheroes.

Fans of Brown and the MCU are excited at the prospect of seeing the talented actor join the ranks of Marvel superheroes or villains. With his impressive acting chops and charismatic presence, Brown would undoubtedly make a memorable addition to the superhero universe.

Stay tuned for any updates on Sterling K. Brown’s potential involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

  • Sterling K. Brown says Marvel series should “reset” every few years

Sterling K. Brown, who appeared in 2018’s Black Panther, is ready to rejoin the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Last Updated on January 30, 2025

    Marvel Brown

Some actors can ride that Marvel wave for their entire careers, landing a character that they become synonymous with forever. And then there are the one-offs, which, despite a SAG/Emmy/Golden Globe-winning actor attached to them, can only go so far. That’s the case with Sterling K. Brown, for example, who played N’Jobu – brother and betrayer to T’Chaka – in Marvel’s Black Panther. Even though that character was killed off, there are ways for him and Brown to return to the MCU. Sure, there are multiverses, but Sterling K. Brown has another approach that could get him back on set.

Speaking with Variety, Sterling K. Brown (who currently stars on Hulu’s Paradise) said that Kevin Feige could take some notes from Dick Wolf. As Brown put it, “I feel like Marvel should be like ‘Law & Order’ — after a certain number of years, you gotta reset, you get to come back. I would love to come back to the Marvel universe, absolutely. Please have me back. Please, please. Thank you.”

But before we go rooting for Brown to get back into the Marvel scene, he does seem to have an ulterior motive that makes him sound less interested in the material than leaving the business. “The IP stuff allows for you to think about retirement in a real way. You get the franchise, and it’s something you can do a few of and people keep coming back for — that means you can breathe a little easier and don’t feel like you have to just keep working all the time…” I’m not against Brown returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in some capacity and what he’s saying is true (come on, not a single Avenger ever has to step in front of a green screen ever again), but it comes off a bit selfish and flippant to the material.

Yet, Sterling K. Brown had a chance to re-enter the superhero realm with The Boys, being offered a role that he eventually turned down. “I think it was a bad guy [role], because it was very tempting. But a full-season arc, they are in Toronto — it’s tough. Listen, these are Champagne problems I’m talking about here! But because I’m blessed enough to already have certain things in place, I get a chance to be a bit more choosy.”

How do you feel about Sterling K. Brown’s thoughts on Marvel movies as a whole? Do you think he cares about the material or the paycheck more? Chime in and let us know your thoughts below.

In a recent interview with Variety, Emmy-winning actor Sterling K. Brown shared his thoughts on Marvel series and suggested that they should hit the “reset” button every few years. Brown, who starred in the hit Marvel film “Black Panther,” explained that constantly refreshing and reinventing the series could keep audiences engaged and excited about the ever-evolving storylines.

Brown emphasized the importance of keeping the content fresh and unpredictable, stating that fans would appreciate the opportunity to experience new characters, story arcs, and unexpected twists. He also expressed his belief that a reset would allow for greater creative freedom and inspire new voices to contribute to the Marvel universe.

While Marvel has seen immense success with its interconnected cinematic universe, Brown’s suggestion to “reset” the series every few years could provide a new perspective on how the beloved superhero stories are told. It remains to be seen if Marvel will take this advice to heart, but one thing is for certain – Sterling K. Brown’s insights on the future of Marvel series are definitely worth considering.

  • Sterling K. Brown reflects on ‘Black Panther’

Sterling K. Brown reflects on Black Panther
Sterling K. Brown reflects on ‘Black Panther’

Black Panther was a “cultural moment,” as his actor Sterling K. Brown described while reflecting on the Marvel film.

During an interview with Sky News, he said, “I remember reading that script – they don’t give it to you – you have to read it and then turn it back, or your hands burn off or something like that.”

“I remember thinking, this is a cultural moment. This is so big, not only for black America but for black people across the globe to see themselves front and centre in the largest, most zeitgeisty pop cultural machine in the world right now, the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I just want to be a part of history. It was history. It was awesome.”

Regarding his children, he said he wanted them to decide their future in an interview with People.

“There’s this idea I think that both of us agree on, most of the time, is that they’re not to be moulded into versions of us,” he said.

“That they kind of are who they are when they come to you. And we’re just trying to shepherd them to become the best version of who they already are, right?” Sterling concluded.

In a recent interview, Sterling K. Brown opened up about his experience working on the groundbreaking film ‘Black Panther’ and the impact it had on him personally and culturally.

Brown, who played the role of N’Jobu in the film, shared how honored he was to be a part of such a culturally significant project. He reflected on the importance of representation in Hollywood and how ‘Black Panther’ helped to break down barriers and stereotypes in the industry.

The actor also spoke about the impact the film had on the Black community, saying that it was empowering to see a superhero movie with a predominantly Black cast and crew. He emphasized the importance of seeing people who look like you on screen and how it can inspire future generations.

Overall, Sterling K. Brown expressed his gratitude for being a part of ‘Black Panther’ and the positive impact it has had on both himself and the world. The film’s success has paved the way for more diverse storytelling in Hollywood, and Brown hopes to see more projects that celebrate and uplift marginalized communities in the future.

  • Sterling K Brown on Black Panther, taping up his basketball shoes and Paradise | Ents & Arts News

Sterling K Brown says being part of Black Panther was a “cultural moment” that allowed him to be “part of history” – and he’d jump at the chance to become part of the Marvel world again.

The 48-year-old actor, who’s currently starring in the mind-bending drama Paradise, told Sky News: “I remember reading that script – they don’t give it to you – you have to read it and then turn it back or your hands burn off or something like that…

“I remember thinking, this is a cultural moment. This is so big, not only for black America but for black people across the globe to see themselves front and centre in the largest, most zeitgeisty pop cultural machine in the world right now, the MCU [Marvel Cinematic Universe].

The superhero movie won three Oscars – Marvel’s first ever Academy Awards – including a win for costume design and best production design, the first in both categories for women of colour.

Brown goes on: I just want to be a part of history. It was history. It was awesome.”

The Missouri-born star’s career trajectory has been impressive, from “living beneath the poverty line” to being nominated for an Oscar, he’s always been single-minded in his pursuit of acting.

He explains: “I didn’t have a hard knock life. We grew up in a house. My mom was a schoolteacher. My dad was a grocery clerk. All our needs were met.

“But I would tape my basketball shoes up if the sole came apart because that fixed them. And my mom got mad at me one time, she’s like, ‘You know, we can buy you shoes?’ I was like, ‘Yeah, but I fixed them. What’s the big deal?’”

He says making his living through his craft was always his focus, adding, “I know that’s a luxury that’s not afforded to a lot of people. The fact that it’s gone my way, I’m incredibly thankful for.”

A three-time Emmy winner, The People V O J Simpson: American Crime Story saw him gain public attention, followed by a season in The Marvellous Mrs Maisel, an episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine and the multi-award-winning This Is Us.

    ‘I’ve got good taste’

When his role in American Fiction earned him an Oscar nomination, he insists he didn’t see it coming, saying: “I just knew it was a great story, a great script, and I wanted to be a part of it.”

He goes on: “They’re all sort of game-changers. People will give me credit. I’ll take credit for having good taste, but you never know when lightning is going to strike, right?”

A fatalist, he says: “I leave it in the hands of the universe and just say, ‘If you want me to step here, I’ll step there and whatever happens, happens’.”

Now he’s leading the cast of Disney+ drama Paradise, playing Agent Xavier Collins, a man charged with protecting a second-term president – played by James Marsden – in a serene community of high-net-worth individuals.

Brown admits the role came with obligations: “There is a different level of responsibility when you’re one on the call sheet. I think people do look to you to help set the tone of what the environment is going to be like, and I don’t mind that.”

The brainchild of Dan Fogelman, best known for his work on This Is Us and Only Murders In The Building, Paradise is a murder mystery with something much bigger underneath.

    ‘Billionaires on camera’

Impossible to elaborate on further without giving away spoilers, it’s enough to say the first episode throws up a twist few will see coming.

Despite various parallels with the current political climate, Fogelman says he came up with the idea over a decade ago, but concedes the timing is “certainly unusual”.

Fogelman tells Sky News: “We’re openly seeing billionaires on camera having a big hand in government. And while money and wealth have always been a factor in things behind the scenes, it’s very out front and centre right now in a way that the show openly discusses [and] things about the environment and climate change.”

Brown too says the themes are prescient: “The world is unpredictable and a little bit nutty and a lot of people are on edge as to what is next. I don’t know if it’s across the world. I definitely know that it’s in the United States for certain.

“I think the show in a very strange way, is sort of asking the same questions like, ‘All right, we’re in new territory right now. I have no idea what happens next. I’m a little scared about that.’”

He goes on: “People are going to draw all sorts of conclusions and inferences and comparisons. I will leave them to draw whatever they wish because if I was an audience member, I would too.”

The first three episodes of Paradise are available on Disney+ now, with new episodes dropping each Tuesday.

Sterling K Brown on Black Panther, Taping Up His Basketball Shoes, and Paradise

In a recent interview, award-winning actor Sterling K Brown opened up about his experience working on the groundbreaking film Black Panther. Brown, who played N’Jobu in the hit Marvel movie, revealed that being a part of the project was a dream come true for him.

“I’ve been a fan of the Black Panther comics for as long as I can remember, so to be able to step into that world and bring a character to life was truly surreal,” Brown said. “I knew from the moment I read the script that this film was going to be something special, and I’m so grateful to have been a part of it.”

But Brown’s talents don’t stop at acting – he’s also an avid basketball player, and he shared a hilarious story about taping up his shoes before hitting the court.

“I take my basketball games very seriously, so I always make sure my shoes are taped up just right before I step onto the court,” Brown laughed. “It’s a little superstition of mine, but hey, whatever works, right?”

In addition to his acting and basketball skills, Brown also dished on his idea of paradise. For the This Is Us star, paradise is all about good food, good company, and good music.

“Paradise for me is sitting around a table with my loved ones, eating a delicious meal, and listening to some classic soul music,” Brown explained. “It’s those simple moments of connection and joy that truly make life worth living.”

With his talent, charm, and infectious personality, Sterling K Brown continues to captivate audiences both on and off the screen. And with his upcoming projects, including the highly anticipated film Paradise Lost, it’s clear that this star is just getting started.

  • I’m Obsessed With Sterling K. Brown’s Paradise, And Episode 1 Dropped Early On Two Streaming Services

My wife and I don’t watch a ton of television. Usually, we’ll wait to hear if a show is any good before we dive in, because we’ve wasted time on shows that are slow to develop, or end up going nowhere before being canceled. This is why we haven’t started Severance yet (though reactions to Season 2 have moved the show up our Must Watch list), and were late to hit programs such as Only Murders in the Building, Hacks, Shogun, and the brilliant The Bear, which we binged in a weekend ahead of The Bear Season 3. That show’s incredible. But for work-related responsibilities, I had to check out Dan Fogelman’s upcoming series Paradise, available on Hulu, and friends? This has become my new obsession… and it can be yours starting right now!

Paradise reunites Dan Fogelman with his award-winning This is Us star Sterling K. Brown for a completely different experiment that’s equally tense, emotional, and character-driven at its core. Brown plays Xavier Collins, lead Secret Service security agent for the U.S. President Cal Bradford (James Marsden) during a cataclysmic event. But in the opening moments of Paradise Episode 1, titled “Wildcat Is Down,” Collins discovers that the President has been murdered in the Oval Office, and is tasked with figuring out who might have been able to pull off such a feat.

Now, the good news. Paradise was meant to drop its first three episodes on Tuesday, January 28. But based on the overwhelmingly positive early reviews, the first episode was posted to both Hulu and Disney+, meaning you can start watching it now as long as you have a subscription. I would advise you to press play as soon as physically possible, because Paradise is the best show on streaming at the moment, and the season only gets better and better as it unfolds.

I rewatched Paradise Episode 1 before writing this, so as not to reveal anything too delicious in this reaction piece. Similar to This Is Us, Paradise skips around the timeline to tell stories of its characters at different points of their lives. Especially President Cal Bradford, who is killed in the opener, though Marsden gets plenty of material in which to sink his teeth as Paradise explains who killed Bradford, and why. And again, like This Is Us, you stay with the story because you quickly grow to love the characters. Dan Fogelman wrote Paradise Episode 1, and co-wrote Episode 2. There is a lot of world-building happening in these early stories, with a lot of it focused on Collins and Bradford’s relationship. But when I tell you that Episode 1 is merely the tip of this iceberg, you are going to have to trust me until Episodes 2 and 3 arrive on January 28.

It’s hard to tell you why I love Paradise without giving away specific details. So I’ll leave you with this. The eight-episode season never loses steam on its magnificent writing, keeping a tight grip on a very taut premise. It features career-best work by Sterling K. Brown and James Marsden – who evolves in ways you can not expect as the season goes on. And while this is a terrible thing to tease, because you will have to wait to see what I mean, remember this when I tell you that Paradise Episode 7, “The Day,” is one of the greatest episodes of television I have ever seen.

    It’s that good.

If you have Hulu or Disney+, watch Paradise Episode 1 as soon as you can. Get on board with this show early, because it’s all people will be talking about in a few weeks, when the mesmerizing plot starts to unfold.

I’m Obsessed With Sterling K. Brown’s Paradise, And Episode 1 Dropped Early On Two Streaming Services

If you’re a fan of Sterling K. Brown, then you’re in for a treat! The highly anticipated new series, Paradise, starring the Emmy-winning actor, has just dropped its first episode early on two streaming services.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been eagerly awaiting the premiere of Paradise ever since it was announced. And let me tell you, the first episode did not disappoint. From the captivating storyline to the stellar performances, this show is already shaping up to be a must-watch.

Sterling K. Brown’s portrayal of the enigmatic lead character is nothing short of mesmerizing. His range as an actor never fails to impress, and in Paradise, he truly shines. The chemistry between him and the rest of the cast is palpable, making for a truly engaging viewing experience.

But what really sets Paradise apart is its unique premise. Set in a post-apocalyptic world where survivors must navigate a dangerous new reality, the show offers a fresh take on the genre. With twists and turns at every corner, it’s impossible to predict what will happen next.

So, if you’re looking for your next binge-worthy series, look no further than Paradise. Trust me, you won’t be able to get enough of Sterling K. Brown and the rest of the talented cast.
