  • Kanye West stops traffic in shiny all-chrome Mercedes-Maybach before heading to A$AP Rocky’s house

Kanye West was driving in style on Friday when he took his all-chrome Mercedes-Maybach for a spin in Los Angeles — but it appears to have been a major headache for other drivers stuck behind him.

The 47-year-old rapper was pictured driving around the city in the shimmering silver luxury sedan — which he was seen with late last year after his ex-wife Kim Kardashian had previously driven one of the silvery vehicles — before he drove over to his friend A$AP Rocky‘s home, according to TMZ.

Kanye appeared to be showing his support for his fellow rapper who is currently in the midst of a high-profile assault trial in LA, where his love Rihanna joined him in court.

However, on his drive to Rocky’s home, he and his bodyguards appear to have created a traffic jam for other drives to allow him to drive unimpeded.

Photos tracking Kanye’s drive show West’s bodyguards apparently stopping their SUV’s to block two lanes of Sunset Boulevard.

The bodyguards kept cars from passing for well over a minute as the disgraced rapper drove on without anyone following him.

Driver’s couldn’t even get around the bodyguards’ vehicles, as they stopped next to each other at a section of the iconic road that featured double yellow lines separating the directions of traffic, as well as bollards designed to prevent vehicles from attempting to cross over.

Drivers who were close enough to the start of the unnecessary jam to see how it started were reportedly upset and frustrated to see private vehicles blocking them for no clear reason.

Kanye appeared to spend much of the evening at A$AP Rocky’s home.

The younger rapper is on trial for two felony counts of assault with a firearm for allegedly shooting his former friend A$AP Relli in 2021.

Rocky has pleaded not guilty to the charges, and his partner Rihanna, with whom he shares two young children, has been supporting him at the courthouse in Downtown Los Angeles.

Prior to heading to Rocky’s home, Kanye had been seen driving around LA with his manager, John Monopoly, and the two even visited a studio in West Hollywood, suggesting that the hitmaker may be working on new music.

His day in LA comes just after he and his wife Bianca Censori arrived in the US after an extended stay in Japan.

The two were spotted at Tokyo International Airport on Thursday, shortly before flying home.

Kanye’s time in Tokyo marked an extended period away from his family.

He shares four children with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian —  North, 11; Saint, eight; Chicago, seven; and Psalm, five — but he had previously not been seen with his children since September of last year.

However, earlier this month he and Bianca were seen spending time with his kids at a 7-Eleven in the Tokyo.

However, his daughter North wasn’t pictured with the group, and it’s unclear if she had joined him in Japan.

Despite the two being almost inseparable, Bianca appeared to sit out Kanye’s trek around LA.

While catching up with his pals, Kanye met up with A$AP Rocky’s cousin, fellow rapper and A$AP mob member A$AP Nast (real name: Tariq Devega).

Nast posted photos of himself and the Yeezus rapper hanging out on Instagram, though it wasn’t clear if they saw each other at Rocky’s house.

Kanye was seen in the same outfit he wore around LA, a puffy white-and-gray jacket with red text over the chest, along with a white hoodie, a white graphic T-shirt, white jeans and black waxed leather boots.

The classically styled boots were a surprising choice, as the Flashing Lights rapper has primarily favored large rain boots and chunky designs made of synthetic materials in recent years.

He had lately displayed a particularly disheveled look with longer hair and a bushy beard, but he looked more clean cut with a buzzed hairdo and a closely trimmed beard.

‘i guess the money should of changed him,’ A$AP Nast captioned photos of himself and Kanye posing. ‘i guess of should of forgot where i came from.’

One photo featured Kanye snarling to show off his silvery fixed prosthodontics as he and Nast flashed their chains.

Kanye West causes a stir as he stops traffic in his all-chrome Mercedes-Maybach on his way to A$AP Rocky’s house. The flashy car turned heads as it gleamed in the sunlight, with Kanye making a grand entrance in true superstar fashion. Fans and onlookers couldn’t help but marvel at the sight of the luxurious vehicle and the man behind the wheel. It’s just another day in the life of Kanye West, where even a simple drive becomes a spectacle. #KanyeWest #MercedesMaybach #ASAPRocky #LuxuryCars #CelebritySightings

  • Conor McGregor Stops By Bucks Bench to Size Up Brook Lopez in the Middle of a Game

Conor McGregor was on a business trip to Utah this week, but all work and no play probably makes the former UFC champion unhappy so he decided to take in a local sporting event which is how he found himself courtside as the Jazz hosted the Milwaukee Bucks.

During the second quarter McGregor was walking around court-side. His trip included walking on the floor and in front of the Bucks’ bench—both of which are probably no-no’s for normal people. Instead of hurrying to his seat as play continued after a Damian Lillard free throw, McGregor stopped, turned around and walked up to Milwaukee’s 7’1″ center Brook Lopez who was as tall seated as McGregor was standing. McGregor asked him to stand up and, well, turns out the 16-inch height difference is very noticeable.

Since there was a basketball game going on, the braodcast went back to the action before the camera person had a chance to zoom out enough for both athletes’ heads were in the same frame.

Lopez discussed the meeting in the locker room after the game, explaining that it went down exactly how it looked.

“He asked me how tall I was,” said Lopez. “I let him know. He asked me to stand up and I did. And I knew at that point once I got up I had had to size him up. You know, I had to do a little something. I’ve seen the face-offs before so I had to do my part.”

Maybe if the two ever meet again they can discuss their issues wish mascots. While McGregor greeted the Jazz bear as a friend last night, he did once send the Miami Heat mascot to the hospital during the NBA Finals.

Considering Brook Lopez’s brother Robin has a longstanding feud with mascots they must have a lot to discuss about either an escalation of force or perhaps maybe even the concept of restraint.

Conor McGregor Stops By Bucks Bench to Size Up Brook Lopez in the Middle of a Game

In a surprising turn of events during a recent Milwaukee Bucks game, UFC superstar Conor McGregor made a guest appearance courtside to size up Bucks center Brook Lopez. McGregor, known for his brash personality and fighting prowess, couldn’t resist the opportunity to check out the 7-footer in action.

As Lopez dominated in the paint, McGregor could be seen nodding approvingly and exchanging a few words with the Bucks players on the bench. The Irish fighter seemed intrigued by Lopez’s size and skill, perhaps even considering a potential matchup in the octagon.

Fans were left wondering what McGregor’s presence meant for the future of Lopez’s career, and whether a crossover into the world of MMA could be in the cards. Only time will tell if this unexpected encounter will lead to any further developments, but one thing’s for sure – McGregor’s interest in Lopez has piqued the curiosity of basketball and fighting fans alike. Stay tuned for more updates on this intriguing story.

Well Built

5 out of 5 stars

Well Built
I believe take it and give it! I learnt this product because users shared their opinions here. Here is my turn to contribute. The mount is good quality and installation instruction is also clear. The mount securely and nicely held my 75" TV. Although my handyman never saw this type of TV mount, he was able to figure it out and complete the installation within one hour. To loosen the tension of TV lifting force on the bolt (for Heavy TV), use a tool to turn the bolt clockwise direction. To increase the tension of TV lifting force (Lighter TV), use a tool to turn anti-clockwise direction. The change of the adjustment is very subtle, so patience is necessary. Perhaps the lifting tension has not been adjusted well that some people in my home have a hard time lifting the TV down and up. I have no problem lifting it however. The TV mount has been using since three weeks ago, so I feel comfortable sharing my positive experience about this mount.

So far I am very happy and excited about this tv mount. It works really well, feels sturdy, and looks great. Assembly took me around 6-8 hours, not including extra trips to the hardware store. I do not recommend doing this project alone, it helped a lot to have extra hands. The main challenge for me was mounting it to a brick fireplace which had uneven surfaces.

After realizing the mount would never lay flat on the bumpy bricks I decided the only thing to do would be to flatten the bricks as much as I could. I ended up using a chisel and hammer to chip away some of the protruding bumps and that helped a lot.

The next challenge was drilling into the bricks, and for that I had to go out and buy masonry drill bits. Make sure you buy the 3/8” and not the 7/32” that is used for the assembly to regular walls. Not realizing this, I bought the 7/32” which I did not need, however I used it to pre-drill and it helped the 3/8” bit drill faster. However, in my case it took over an hour to drill all four holes to 3” depth, so don’t expect drilling into brick to be fast.

The kit also comes with wall anchors so you don’t need to buy any. I used a little bit of glue before tapping them into the wall, and that’s something you can do if you’re extra paranoid like me.

Only time will tell how well this mount will hold up, but so far it is exactly what I hoped for – and I am glad I didn’t give up when it seemed impossible to mount it to the bricks. Good luck!

    Here's what to know:
-It's a VERY sturdy mount. Very solid build quality. I can tell this will last a long time.
-The TV sits VERY far away from the wall in the "down" position.
-It's difficult to tell where the TV will sit (in both the up and down positions) until the very last step of the install process. This was the most annoying part. I followed the directions of how to get the TV to be in the "closest to the mantle position," but I feel like it's still a few inches too high when in the "up" position.
-This takes forever to put together, but was not difficult to assemble.
-I bought a $12 Wali soundbar mount and used it in conjunction with the mantle mount. Works perfectly.
-The handles that stick out at the bottom are not required for the mount to work… but they are greatly helpful when pulling down a large TV. I tried installing without the handles first, and it was too difficult to pull down the 70" TV without the handles (and I'm a big big with a large wingspan).

I purchased the MM340 mount for my Sony 65", 54.4 lbs X90L to mount over the fireplace. The installation is a bit cumbersome with numerous things to consider and not all Mantel Mounts fault. For one thing one of my 2×4 studs (right of centerline) was not space 16" apart but 16-3/4". A second and third issues- the 2×4 stud is at the CL (centerline) of my fireplace mantel. And the 120VAC receptacle and the TV cable conduit is mounted left and right of this center line 2×4 stud about 17" above the mantel. Therefore the 4" wide lifting arm would have block the AC plug or RG-6-HDMI cables. So the centerline of the TV ended up about 3" left of mantel centerline. I wish the wall plates was longer than 28 inches , 33 inches would have been ideal to screw in the four lag bolts on the two 2×4 studs left and right of the center line 2×4 studs. Also when mounting the brace extender per instruction, I could not get the extender handles to 1" below the TV bottom but it sits at 2" below the TV bottom. So I figure the minimum bottom wall frame should be 4" above the motel. I wanted to TV as low as possible. So I mounted the lifting arm about 3 inches left of centerline to prevent the lifting arm from interfering with the cable conduit and the 120VAC receptacle. The remainder of the install was easy. I triple check the exact 2-1/2" lag screw location (because of the overall weight -probably the most critical part of the install) The tension bolt did not need any adjustment (zero). I went up and down easy and held the TV at any position. I'm very please. I love how it smoothly lower or raise to any position. Good general detail instructions (hard to cover all scenarios). Hardware and material is heavy duty and mostly functional. So overall the MM340 is a Five Star, highly recommended. I did call the help line but the tech rep just repeated the written instructions and didn't concern himself with my specific needs.

It was more then what I wanted to spend on a TV mount. There was only 2 choice when it comes to pull down fireplace mount, and really only 1 choice for TV over 85" or 80 pounds. With that said, best investment for my comfort and viewing. Love the viewing level when it's pulled down. Hope it works for a long long time. Took husband and son 3 years to put together.

We installed a 75 inch TV on this mount and it works well to lower it from above our fireplace to about 30 inches above the floor when lowered. The TV sits about 6" off the wall when in its position above the mantel, and about 16" in front of our fireplace when the TV is lowered. It's nice that it brings it a little closer as well as lowering to a comfortable viewing angle. We initially installed it too high, but taking it back down and adjusting and re-installing took about 1/2 hour more compared to the 1 hour initial installation by me and my son. Once in place and working, I'm pleased and recommend it.

Great product solution for above fireplace mounting

Reviewed in Canada on October 9, 2021

Easy to use. Good product. Seems durable. Enjoy having (almost) proper viewing height and soundstage (where voices are not placed below screen).

If your mantel sticks out it's kind of a pain to get installed to the lowest possible drop. Measuring many multiple times did not get to where I wanted. After second failed install attempt I found it was easier to install the safety bolt that retains the dropped position and man handle it to find the best height that way. Faster and better placement that I wish I'd done in the beginning saving a lot of time. Stupid me reading instructions. It's heavy though so normal sized people might need a helper with this.

The fact it can't angle the screen is a pain if you have a reflective screen (like OLED) because it reflects your room causing viewing issues. Solution? Use long bolts in top VESA mount with thick washers to permanently angle screen down.

Bit scary snap up with OLED as I worry that since it's all glass it might crack. (Yes it's adjusted to minimum gas shock strength). You need to hold mount when raising to avoid issues. Young kids can't be trusted with fragile tv's. Should have a soft bumper or additional gas shock to resist sudden shock when raising, but no manufacturer seems to offer this.

The rails on the rear are visible behind the mount and look ugly with the multiple bolt holes looking like industrial racking. Should have snap on plastic to cover rear workings like my previous mounts, that were less visible due to not being drop down. Strange they didn't think of this. Or maybe you like the industrial look?

Avoid using supplied bolts. They're thick and require predrilling giant holes. Get something like GRK RSS (Rugged Structural Screws). Smaller holes in your studs due to greater strength, they drill their own hole when installing and have a washer sized head. Plus, since you can see them in the mount, they are less obvious and look better.

I still recommend this product! Just see room for improvement to make perfect.

I have a 75 inch fire tv. This mount worked great for viewing tv at different levels. Eye level is the best. Picture so much clearer and more details pop out. Two people needed for installation. If you can mount a regular tv mount then this should be fine to assemble and mount. Cheers!

A very good TV mount that meets my needs. In hind site i should have ordered the pro version. My 75" 70 Pound tv is a little much for this bracket. Moving it down from its top position feels a little wobbly and requires some finesse, but it does work. Once it's in motion it is fine, going up is no problem. READ THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS, clearances are critical here. The manufacturer's web site has a really helpful calculator to determine if this will fit in your location.

  • Jeopardy! abruptly stops airing as furious fans complain they ‘missed’ breakout star Drew Goins snagging runaway win

TODAY’S Jeopardy! episode didn’t air in many parts of the country and viewers are furious they were unable to see breakout star Drew Goins snag his latest runaway win.

Those who tuned in on Monday expecting to see Ken Jennings on the Alex Trebek stage were met with a much different picture as most markets were still airing coverage of the Presidential Inauguration .

    Jeopardy!

Jeopardy! did not issue any warning that it may not be airing the January 20th game due to the inauguration – leading many to believe the episode would proceed as normal.

However, footage from Donald Trump ’s inauguration continued to play in place of today’s game in most parts of the country.

The outrage over missing the episode was only increased when fan-favorite Drew delivered another impressive performance that some viewers won’t get to see.

One viewer wrote: “Can’t watch on my local ABC affiliate due to the inauguration, which really sucks, cause Drew is my fav.

“I was already bummed about today for obvious reasons but now it feels personal.”

“Here in Chicago we are preempted by the inauguration coverage. Talking heads keeping us from having 30 minutes of freedom from political craziness,” another said.

A third suggested: “Same. Total bummer. I really wish on national news pre-emption days that the Jeopardy Youtube channel would put up entire episodes.”

Drew, a journalist from Honolulu, Hawaii, has become a fan-favorite for his quick-witted game play, entertaining stories and fun fashion.

For today’s Champions Wildcard semifinals, he went up against Joey DeSena, a development engineer from Raleigh, North Carolina and Jen Feldman, a high school teacher from Brooklyn, New York.

Like his past games, Drew was off to the best start as he secured the most amount of correct answers, six, by the first break.

He had accumulated $4,200 by the commercial break, while Jen had $1,400.

Joey found and missed the first Daily Double – landing him with $0 by the break.

After the Jeopardy! Round was complete, Drew’s lead increased to $7,200.

Though Joey remained in third, he got himself on the board with $800 while Jen stayed in second with $2,400.

Host Ken, 50, then revealed the categories of the second round: “French Geography; 18Th Century Writing; Broadway; Psychology; Let’s Talk About Politics; Starts With ‘D.’”

Jen closed the gap of Drew’s lead when she found the second Daily Double – and accurately answered, adding $5,000 to her score.

    WHIZ KID

However, Drew quickly made that up by finding the third Daily Double which gave him a bonus $4,000.

Overall, Drew racked up an impressive 29 correct responses from today’s game – having only buzzed into two incorrectly.

Jen had 10 accurate answers with 0 mistakes while Joey made 3 incorrect guesses but had 12 right responses.

Jeopardy! first aired in 1964 until 1975. Then the nighttime version began in 1974. Since then, many spinoffs of the game show have emerged. Here they all are:

Jeopardy! – (syndicated) 1974 to present, weekdays on ABC at 7 pm ET.

Tournament of Champions – 1984 to present, features the top champions who have appeared on the show since the last tournament.

Second Chance Tournament – 2022 to present features hand-selected non-winners from the season prior, where the prize is entry into Champions Wildcard.

Champions Wildcard – 2023 to present, features all one, two and three-day champions from the season prior worth entry into the Tournament of Champions.

Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament (syndication) – 2023 to present, features past greats invited by producers to vie for a slot in Masters.

Jeopardy! Masters (primetime) – 2023 to present, features the six highest-ranked Jeopardy! champions competing against each other.

Celebrity Jeopardy! (primetime) – 1992 to present, has celebrities compete against each other to raise money for charity.

Pop Culture Jeopardy (streaming) – 2024 to present, will feature teams of three tasked with pop culture trivia on Amazon Prime, hosted by Colin Jost, airdate TBD

Jeopardy! has done away with specialized tournaments like its College Tournaments, Kids Week, and Professor’s Tournament to gear towards a more sports-like model, with Masters being the top of the Jeopardy pyramid.

Other versions of Jeopardy! have fizzled out throughout the years as well, like Sports Jeopardy!.

Going into the final, Drew had $26,800 while Jen had $12,600 and Joey was close behind, having accumulated $9,200.

Only Joey was correct with the Final Jeopardy! and knowing he was too far behind to snag a win, used his opportunity to write a message for his opponent.

“What is the Nautalis? Go for it, Drew!!” Joey exclaimed in his answer.

The affection was mutual, as Drew – who bet $0 for the last round – wrote: “What is a mouse??? Thanks Jen and Joey! <3.”

For their final scores, Drew garnered $26,800 while Jen had $10,000 and Joey a solid $9,811.

Drew advances to the finals of the Champions Wildcard Tournament and is hoping to score a spot in the coveted Tournament of Champions.

Jeopardy! fans were left in shock as the popular game show abruptly stopped airing, leaving viewers feeling frustrated and disappointed. Many fans were eagerly anticipating the continuation of the episode in which breakout star Drew Goins was on the verge of snagging a runaway win.

Drew Goins had captivated audiences with his quick wit, vast knowledge, and strategic gameplay. Fans had high hopes for him to continue his winning streak and possibly even become a Jeopardy! legend.

However, their hopes were dashed when the show suddenly cut to a commercial break and never returned. Viewers took to social media to express their anger and disappointment, with many complaining that they had “missed” Drew Goins’ potential victory.

The sudden halt in airing has left fans wondering what happened and when they will get to see the conclusion of the episode. Some have even speculated that there may have been a technical issue or scheduling conflict that caused the abrupt stop.

As fans eagerly await an explanation and resolution, they have made it clear that they will not rest until they see Drew Goins’ final triumph on Jeopardy! and witness his well-deserved victory.

  • Judge Stops Release of Jack Smith’s Report on Trump Documents Case

A federal judge in Florida stopped the Justice Department on Tuesday from releasing to Congress a potentially damning section of a report by the former special counsel, Jack Smith, detailing his lengthy investigation of President Trump’s mishandling of classified documents.

In a strongly worded 14-page order, the judge, Aileen M. Cannon, said that federal prosecutors should not be allowed to share the section of the two-volume report with anyone outside the Justice Department, including members of Congress, given the risk that the information, some of which she said had not yet been made public, could slip out.

“Given the very strong public interest in this criminal proceeding and the absence of any enforceable limits on the proposed disclosure, there is certainly a reasonable likelihood that review by members of Congress as proposed will result in public dissemination of all or part” of the report, she wrote.

Before Mr. Trump took office and assumed control of the Justice Department, Merrick B. Garland, then the attorney general, had proposed showing the classified documents section of Mr. Smith’s report to the four top leaders of the House and Senate Judiciary Committees.

While Mr. Garland released the other volume of Mr. Smith’s report — which concerned a separate criminal case that accused Mr. Trump of plotting to overturn the 2020 election — to the public, he was reluctant to take similar steps with the volume on classified documents.

That was because the documents case is still active against Mr. Trump’s two-co-defendants, Walt Nauta and Carlos De Oliveira, and Mr. Garland was sensitive about revealing any information that could affect pending legal proceedings involving them.

At a hearing last week about what to do with the documents volume of the report, Judge Cannon asked why the Justice Department under Mr. Garland had wanted to move quickly in giving that section to lawmakers. A prosecutor told her that, at that point, Mr. Garland’s time in office was limited and that he wanted to see the release of the report “satisfied during his tenure.”

Judge Cannon seemed annoyed by that answer in her ruling on Tuesday, deriding it as “the bare wishes of one attorney general.”

“These statements do not reflect well on the department,” she wrote.

Mr. Trump’s lawyers and the other defense lawyers in the case have vehemently fought the release of the report to anyone outside the Justice Department. They have claimed that it contains “false and derogatory” information that Mr. Trump’s congressional adversaries could use to undermine “his ability to govern our nation moving forward.”

The lawyers have also complained that the volume implicates some unnamed “anticipated” members of Mr. Trump’s administration — a potential reference to Kash Patel, Mr. Trump’s pick to run the F.B.I. Mr. Patel was forced to testify to a grand jury in the documents case after he initially refused to answer questions by asserting his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination.

Judge Cannon, in her order, confirmed that the documents volume contained new, and potentially damaging, information that “has not been made public in court filings.”

That included “voluminous and detailed” discovery evidence about the allegations that Mr. Trump had illegally retained reams of classified materials after he left office in 2021. Some of that information, Judge Cannon wrote, described Mr. Trump’s “other bad acts” that were not charged in the indictment — a possible reference to other instances when he mishandled classified materials.

Today, a judge has halted the release of Jack Smith’s report on the Trump documents case. This decision comes after weeks of legal battles and intense scrutiny over the handling of sensitive information related to former President Donald Trump.

The report, which was expected to shed light on the extent of Trump’s involvement in the handling of sensitive documents during his time in office, has now been put on hold pending further review by the court.

Many are questioning the motives behind this decision and wondering what information could be so damaging that it warrants such drastic measures to prevent its release.

As the case continues to unfold, the public will be eagerly awaiting updates on the status of the report and what it may reveal about Trump’s actions while in office. Stay tuned for more developments on this unfolding story.
