‘Bosch’ Star Titus Welliver Inks First-Look Amazon MGM Studios Deal
EXCLUSIVE: For more than a decade, Titus Welliver has been an Amazon MGM Studios MVP as the star and executive producer of Prime Video’s Bosch and Bosch: Legacy. As the latter is coming to an end, Welliver is staying in the studio fold with a first-look deal for series.
“As one iconic chapter closes with Bosch: Legacy, we’re incredibly excited to begin a new journey with Titus Welliver,” said Vernon Sanders, head of television, Amazon MGM Studios. “His portrayal of Harry Bosch has defined a generation of crime drama, bringing unparalleled depth and authenticity to the role. We’re thrilled to continue our creative collaboration and can’t wait to see what comes next.”
Launching in 2014, Bosch became Prime Video’s first drama hit and remains the streamer’s longest-running series, spanning seven seasons. Welliver also toplines Bosch: Legacy, which is set to debut its third and final season March 27 and will help launch the upcoming Renée Ballard franchise spinoff starring Maggie Q.
“I have enjoyed a wonderful and rewarding working relationship with Amazon for more than a decade,” Welliver said. “I am grateful and excited to continue our collaboration to develop interesting and meaningful stories.”
Welliver recently signed on to star in CBS’ planned spinoff from The Equalizer, so the Amazon MGM Studios will work around Welliver’s acting services on the crime drama should it go forward. He was also recently seen in indie Ricky, which premiered at Sundance. Welliver’s upcoming projects include the feature Killing Castro. He is repped by UTA and Leverage Management.

Marvel Studios Debuts First Fantastic Four Footage Ahead of Trailer Tomorrow

Marvel fans, prepare for launch. The first footage from The Fantastic Four: First Steps has come online, ahead of the official trailer tomorrow.
Before ABC revealed that the first trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps would premiere on Good Morning America on February 4 — which can conveniently be written as F4, the Fantastic Four’s logo — fans had speculated that the trailer might debut during the upcoming Super Bowl on Feb. 9. It had previously been reported that Disney had bought two ad spots for upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. At this time, it remains unclear which MCU movies will be promoted at the Super Bowl, although Marvel Studios also has Captain America: Brave New World and Thunderbolts* coming out this year, with the former set to hit theaters just a few days after the highly-watched football championship game. Marvel Studios and director Matt Shakman have assembled an A-list cast for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, with Pedro Pascal (Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby (Sue Storm/Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm/Human Torch), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Ben Grimm/The Thing) set to portray Marvel’s First Family. Their casting was first announced by Marvel Studios on Valentine’s Day.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps is scheduled to hit theaters on July 25, 2025, as part of Phase 6 of the MCU.

The Mardi Gras Tribute Store has officially opened at Universal Studios Florida as Universal Orlando gears up for 2025’s Universal’s Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval.
The highly themed store takes guests to the Legends of the Bayou, a museum inspired by New Orleans’s legends and other popular creatures of cryptozoology.
Guests will travel through the Museum’s curiosity shop, the Louisiana marsh, and a swamp shack.
Celebrating 30 Years of Mardi Gras, this year’s merchandise includes t-shirts, flannels, hats, and hoodies, as well as accessories like headwear, backpacks, and vinyl toys. New must-haves include the eye-catching Gator Junior Shoulder Pal Plush and exclusive 30th-anniversary collectibles, including a customizable commemorative beaded necklace, a light-up Gator Junior popcorn bucket, a limited-edition bubble pin, and festive chocolate coins.
The Tribute Store’s first room brings us through the Curiosity Shop, where Cyrus T Pavo welcomes us. The room is filled with references to cryptozoological creatures and dials up the tackiness to 11. As you walk through the room, you’ll find displays, models, artifacts, and other random findings of the “legends of the bayou.”
The 2nd room brings us through the Louisiana swamps, where the Mossman lurks in the marshes. Finally, we make our way to Baron TonTon’s shack before entering the final room, where a giant wooden gator statue looms over the merchandise.
Keep a close eye on Easter Eggs throughout the store, as there are PLENTY to find, including a hidden ET, a nod to Monster’s Cafe, Jaws references, and about 80 “little” Bigfoot figures hiding around the store.

The Grunch Road Monster, aka The Grunch, can be found in each room. From February 1 through March 30, guests will let the good times roll as they experience an authentic, family-friendly version of the Mardi Gras bash at Universal Studios Florida. Marvel Studios Announces Historic 3-Season Release for Next Disney+ Show
Marvel Studios’ next Disney+ show is about to embark on a three-season release journey, setting it apart from any previous MCU show to date.
Amidst a bevy of new shows hitting Disney+ in 2025, six of those are confirmed to be from Marvel Studios. This includes three new live-action projects and three animated series, which will begin streaming as early as the end of January.
The first of these is Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, which gives Marvel Studios a chance to revisit Peter Parker’s early days as a teenage superhero. While the series has taken some time to come to Disney+, new reports indicate Marvel already has big plans for its future.
New 3-Season MCU Show Breaks Mold for Disney+
Speaking with The Movie Podcast, Brad Winderbaum, Marvel Studios’ Head of Streaming, Television, and Animation at Marvel Studios, announced a historic release plan for Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.
Noting that he already “read all the scripts for Season 2,” he is looking forward to seeing how fans connect to the characters as the story “[pays] off by the end of the season:”
“I’ve fallen so head over heels in love with these characters. I’ve now read all the scripts for Season 2, we’re halfway through the animatics. What Jeff is building brick by brick in this show starts to pay off. You feel it in Season 1, you grow connected to these characters so that when everything’s supposed to lock into place and pay off by the end of the season…I don’t know about you guys, but I feel it really in my soul, and it just gets deeper and deeper in subsequent seasons.”
Winderbaum later confirmed the new animated Spider-Man series is “greenlit…through Season 3.” Soon, he will hear a new pitch on the season from writer Jeff Trammell as he looks forward to working out how the story will continue:
“We’re also greenlit for through Season 3, and in a couple weeks, I’m gonna hear his pitch for the third season of the show, and I’m like a fan, I can’t wait.”
This marks the first time any Marvel Studios show has been publicly renewed for both a second and third season before its first season is even released.
The only MCU projects to date that have had Season 2 greenlit before Season 1 aired are Loki, What If…?, X-Men ’97, and Daredevil: Born Again (which is quickly developing its own Season 2 plot).
Marvel Studios’ Future on Disney+
While details are still being kept close to the vest on when the next two seasons of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man will be ready, Marvel Studios has no plans to slow down bringing new shows to Disney+.
Joining that series on the animated side in 2025 will be Eyes of Wakanda and Marvel Zombies. The latter is set to make history in its own right as the MCU’s latest TV-MA-rated project to debut on Disney+ and the first animated series to have such a rating (see more on other R-rated Marvel Studios projects here).
In live-action, the highly-anticipated Daredevil: Born Again will kick the year off with a nine-episode first season on March 4; Season 2 is confirmed to already be in development as well. Ironheart and Wonder Man will debut in June and December, respectively, adding to the franchise’s expansive catalog.
Beyond this year, however, the schedule for Marvel Studios on Disney+ is much more up in the air.
Shows confirmed for development include Paul Bettany’s solo Vision series (which will dive deep into the MCU archives for cast members) and a project centered on the cosmic hero Nova. Outside of that, nothing more than rumors tease what’s coming for Marvel’s future in the streaming sphere.

I arrived at the boarding lounge to see off the first flight.
The flight to Fukuoka, departing from platform 15 at 1:00 p.m., is the inaugural flight of the ‘JAL x Universal Studios Japan Jet2.’
Since there was still some time before departure, I watched
the ramp operations from the waiting room. Baggage was being loaded onto the plane.
We also discovered the ‘ JAL MiyakumyakuJET ‘, which promotes the Osaka-Kansai Expo.
While I was observing various things, the ‘JAL x Universal Studios Japan Jet 2’ was brought to the boarding gate.

Being able to witness such a special event up close was truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I feel incredibly lucky to have been in the right place at the right time to witness history in the making.
I will cherish the memories of this day for years to come, and I can’t wait to see where the ‘JAL x Universal Studios Japan Jet 2’ will take its passengers next. Travel truly is a magical experience, and today I got a front-row seat to the magic.

In early December, the actress shared a carousel of photos from her vacation in Mexico with her family on Instagram, including an adorable picture of Alba with her teenage daughters Honor and Haven. The proud mom pursed her lips as she posed by her teenage daughters, who wore tropical dresses.
Alba also included snaps of her son Hayes, as well as a video of him getting buried under the sand. “Mexico with my mains ,” Alba wrote in her post.
In November, Alba shared a series of photos on her Instagram from her night out with her teen daughters as they went to Sabrina Carpenter’s Los Angeles concert. In one video, Alba could be seen getting ready for the concert with Haven, using a makeup brush to block the camera and pulling it away to showcase their outfits at the venue.
Alba also included shots of herself and her daughters with a friend, as well as videos and photos of Carpenter during the show.

Over the summer, the star opened up about her daughter Honor leaving for college in a few years, speaking with E! News ahead of the premiere of the season 2 of her Roku show Honest Renovations. The mom of three was asked about how she’ll feel when her daughter Honor graduates high school.
“Please don’t say that,” Alba joked. “I think that’s going to be terrible. And I’m going to be sad about it, but she’s such a good girl. I’m so proud of her.”
