Sutton’s predictions: Leicester v Fulham
‘Foxes never quit’ is Leicester’s motto, but it is starting to look like they have done.
Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side are on a run of six straight league defeats and are in desperate trouble.
I was too generous to them in my prediction before they played Crystal Palace on Wednesday because I thought they would score, but Palace won that one very comfortably in the end.
It’s not a surprise to see Leicester struggling now because I think it’s a case where they have been a mess all season.
There are people out there who will think this has been coming, because they sacked Steve Cooper and then seemed to give Van Nistelrooy the job off the back of two wins against them with Manchester United.
He was a great player who had his managerial apprenticeship with PSV, and I admired the job he did with United too, so this situation is not on him – he just inherited this team.
It is always a struggle for promoted teams, but there seemed to be a different expectation from Leicester fans because of their recent history, and a belief they would stay up easily then kick on.
The Premier League does not work like that, and they have found that out.
Fulham are not on a great run either, although they come into this game off the back of a lot of draws rather than defeats.
I thought Marco Silva’s side deserved something out of their defeat to West Ham on Tuesday, and they won’t slip up again – I can see Leicester scoring, because they are due a goal, but Fulham will have too much quality for them.
Sutton’s prediction: 1-2
As a football analyst, I am here to give you my predictions for the upcoming match between Leicester City and Fulham.Leicester City has been in impressive form this season, sitting comfortably in the top half of the table. Their attacking prowess, led by the likes of Jamie Vardy and James Maddison, has been a key factor in their success. I expect them to continue their fine form and secure a victory against Fulham.
On the other hand, Fulham has struggled this season and are currently fighting to avoid relegation. Despite their best efforts, I believe they will struggle against Leicester’s strong defense and ultimately fall short in this match.
My prediction: Leicester City will come out on top with a 2-0 victory over Fulham. Stay tuned to see if my prediction comes true!

Sutton’s predictions: Southampton v Brentford
Chris Sutton is making predictions for all 380 Premier League games this season, against a variety of guests.
For week 20, he takes on The Zutons frontman Dave McCabe, who supports Liverpool.
Sutton’s prediction: 1-2
This is a tough one to call because while Southampton are adrift at the bottom and absolutely desperate for points, Brentford are not in great form either.
Saints’ new boss Ivan Juric has been quite feisty since his appointment, and his side have only been narrowly beaten in both his games in charge.
It is noticeable how often Southampton like to lump it now under Juric, compared with their possession-based style of play under Russell Martin.
However, while it is also clear they will put up a fight I don’t see much changing for them results-wise.
Brentford are a battle-hardened Premier League team, so a direct approach will not faze them, and they also have goals in their team.
The Bees are yet to win on the road this season and only picked up their first away point against Brighton last time out but, this time, I see them taking all three.
McCabe’s prediction: 1-2
Brentford all day.
As Southampton gear up to face Brentford in their upcoming match, here are my predictions for the game:1. Southampton’s recent form has been inconsistent, but they have shown flashes of brilliance. I predict that they will come out strong and dominate possession in the midfield.
2. Brentford, on the other hand, have been a surprise package this season and have shown their attacking prowess. I expect them to put up a strong fight and create some goal-scoring opportunities.
3. In terms of the final score, I predict that Southampton will edge out Brentford with a 2-1 victory. Southampton’s experience and home advantage will give them the upper hand in this match.
Overall, I believe it will be an exciting and closely contested game between these two teams. Let’s see if my predictions come true! #Southampton #Brentford #PremierLeaguepredictions

Chris Sutton is making predictions for all 380 Premier League games this season, against a variety of guests.
This week, he takes on musician Emma-Jean Thackray, who is a Leeds fan.
Sutton’s prediction: 2-1
What a result for Fulham last time out. Marco Silva’s side only snatched their win over Chelsea right at the end at Stamford Bridge, but they fully deserved it.
Bournemouth are on a great run too, although they have cost me some predictions points by drawing their past two home games when I thought they would win.
So, who do I go for here? Both teams are on a run of six games without defeat, so it is a tough call.
The easiest thing to go for would be a draw, especially since Fulham have drawn their past three games at Craven Cottage, but I am going to be brave and choose a winner, and I am backing Silva’s side.
I am a little surprised that Silva doesn’t get linked with big jobs anymore when they become available.
Maybe that is because he was seen as under-achieving at Everton when he finished eighth in 2018-19. But if you look at what has happened to them since, when you look back, he was a success at Goodison Park.
Emma-Jean’s prediction: 1-1
Fulham are doing well, and Bournemouth are flying. I feel like my crystal ball is telling me this will be a draw.
As we gear up for the upcoming clash between Fulham and Bournemouth, I can’t help but make some predictions for the match. Both teams have been in good form recently, with Fulham sitting comfortably in the top half of the table and Bournemouth not far behind.I predict that Fulham will come out strong in this match, utilizing their strong attacking force to put pressure on Bournemouth’s defense. With players like Aleksandar Mitrovic leading the charge, I expect Fulham to create several scoring opportunities throughout the game.
On the other hand, Bournemouth will not go down without a fight. They have shown resilience in previous matches and I believe they will put up a good fight against Fulham. With players like Dominic Solanke in top form, Bournemouth has the potential to score goals and make things difficult for Fulham.
Overall, I predict a close and exciting match between Fulham and Bournemouth, with both teams giving it their all. In the end, I think Fulham will come out on top with a 2-1 victory. But as we all know, anything can happen in football, so let’s sit back and enjoy the game!

Sutton’s predictions: Southampton v West Ham
Chris Sutton is making predictions for all 380 Premier League games this season, against a variety of guests.
This week, he takes on Eats Everything, aka DJ and producer Daniel Pearce.
Sutton’s prediction: 1-1
There has not been much Christmas cheer for Southampton but they did at least keep a clean sheet against Fulham and new manager Ivan Juric would probably be happy with another bore draw in his first game in charge.
West Ham also picked up a point over the weekend, against Brighton, but they really got away with one there – I was so unlucky with my prediction of a Seagulls win, because they absolutely battered them.
The Hammers have got some really quality players, like Jarrod Bowen, and I keep thinking they are eventually going to get going and find some consistency, but it has not happened yet.
I’m still not convinced by West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui, and I don’t really know what to expect from Juric, so the safest prediction here is probably another 1-1 draw – which would be West Ham’s third in a row, all against south coast clubs.
Eats Everything’s prediction: 1-1
Southampton will be hoping for a new manager bounce, but West Ham have been decent in their past couple of games – they got battered by Bournemouth but showed they were resilient, and it was similar against Brighton. I am going to go for them getting another draw here.
