Final Destination is back for more elaborate death traps.
On Monday, Feb. 3, Warner Bros. Pictures debuted the first teaser trailer for Final Destination Bloodlines, showing a tattoo artist inking himself a “Dad” tribute on his arm — before being hung by his nose ring on a ceiling fan and burned.
The franchise, famous for its over-the-top fatal scenarios constructed like chain-reaction Rube Goldberg machines, is making its comeback after the fifth installment arrived in 2011. The first film, released in 2000, starred Devon Sawa, Ali Larter, Seann William Scott and Tony Todd.
A synopsis for Bloodlines says this entry “takes audiences back to the very beginning of Death’s twisted sense of justice.”

“Plagued by a violent recurring nightmare, college student Stefanie heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all,” the logline teases.
The cast includes Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Rya Kihlstedt, Anna Lore, Brec Bassinger and Todd, who died in November 2024 at age 69.
Final Destination Bloodlines is in theaters May 16.

– The surprise teases continue heading into this Saturday night’s WWE Royal Rumble 2025. During her appearance on The Pat McAfee Show on Thursday to promote her new ESPN series, Stephanie McMahon-Levesque noted WWE Royal Rumble will have “lots of surprises” that she claims even she doesn’t know about.
“John Cena competing in his last Royal Rumble ever is going to be really meaningful,” she said when discussing the show. “I’m looking forward to Charlotte Flair’s return to the ring, it’s been way too long. Lots of surprises that I don’t even know about, and if I did, I wouldn’t be allowed to say. I don’t know, truthfully. I know some thing, but not all things.”
– During an interview on the Talking With Natasha podcast, WWE Superstar and Pure Fusion Collective leader Sonya Deville described her being the first openly gay woman in WWE as a “happy accident.”
“It was like a big accident,” she began when telling the story. “It’s a really funny story. It’s a happy accident. So I was on Tough Enough, the reality show. The first episode of that show was like the tryouts for the show. So they showed like all the competitors trying out to be on the show. Part of the tryout was an in-ring interview, essentially, with Triple H, the big boss, and a couple other corporate executives. You’re just in the ring. They told you to wear a bathing suit. I’m looking around. My wife laughs at this, too. I’m looking around at all these girls, and they all come from bikini world champions and swimsuit models. They’re all in G-string bikinis. I didn’t get the memo and I’m in a billabong bikini. They all were in like stilettos and I wore a wedge, like a Sam Edelman wedge. Okay. Got it. I just, I didn’t look like the others. I didn’t really fit in with the rest. So here I am in all my glory in a bathing suit, standing in the middle of the ring. If you look back at the video of it, it’s really funny, cause I don’t even know how to like stand in a bathing suit. I’m like legs, like wide apart. Triple H, one of his first questions he asked me, which would be like a pretty standard reality TV show question, ‘are you in a relationship? Are you single?’ They’re trying to get to know the contestants. But for me, it was a loaded question because I had a girlfriend and I was not out at the time. And so I kind of just froze and was like, ‘I have a girlfriend, but she’s not my wife yet.’ Like, I just got nervous and said like a really weird answer and he starts laughing and he’s like, ‘did you just come out on national television?’ I was like, ‘Uh, I guess so. Then I had to like rush backstage to call my girlfriend at the time. Cause she wasn’t even out to her parents and her mom was like onto us, but we were trying to deny it to her. Cause she was not okay with it. So I had to call her and be like, ‘I’m so sorry.’ But if your mom’s watching, cause her mom knew like, ‘Oh, her friend Daria was on this show and she was watching to support her friend.’ But now I just said on the show that she’s my girlfriend, which is, and I said her name. So like she’s just, yeah, she’s done for. It is so confirmed. So I felt so bad. So I called her. ‘She’s like, no, it’s okay.’ Like it was meant to be that way. That was 10 years ago. So that’s my coming out.”
(H/T to Fightful for transcribing the above quotes.)
Sonya Deville made history as the first openly gay woman in WWE, but according to the superstar herself, it was all a “big accident.”
In a recent interview, Deville revealed that she never intended to come out publicly while working for the wrestling company. “It was never my intention to be the first openly gay woman in WWE,” she said. “It just kind of happened.”
Deville, whose real name is Daria Berenato, explained that she had been out to her family and friends for years before deciding to share her sexuality with the world. “I just wanted to be myself and live my truth,” she said. “I never expected it to be such a big deal, but I’m grateful for the support I’ve received from fans and colleagues.”
Meanwhile, WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon has been teasing some surprises for the upcoming Royal Rumble event. In a recent tweet, McMahon hinted at some “game-changing moments” that fans won’t want to miss.
Could one of those surprises be related to Deville or another groundbreaking moment for LGBTQ+ representation in WWE? Only time will tell, but one thing is for sure: the Royal Rumble is shaping up to be an event to remember.
WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H sent shockwaves through the wrestling world today with a cryptic statement hinting at a truly surprising entrant for the upcoming Royal Rumble match.
NBA Star Tyrese Haliburton in WWE? Triple H’s Approach Fuels Royal Rumble Speculation
During a press conference, Triple H stated, “Just about anybody could enter the Royal Rumble as a surprise. You never know who might show up.” Following this declaration, Triple H’s gaze shifted towards the sidelines where Indiana Pacers star point guard, Tyrese Haliburton, was observing the proceedings. With a mischievous glint in his eye, Triple H casually approached Haliburton, asking, “Tyrese, you got a minute?”
Haliburton, visibly surprised, exchanged a brief but intriguing look with Triple H before the WWE executive moved on. This unexpected interaction has ignited a flurry of speculation amongst fans and media alike. Is Triple H simply engaging in playful banter with a prominent athlete? Or could this be a subtle hint at a potential crossover event, bringing the high-flying athleticism of the NBA to the squared circle? The 55-year-old Triple H, appearing on the Royal Rumble Kickoff show ahead of the premium live event, was met with a chorus of “One More Match!” chants from the passionate crowd. The chants were immediately answered by Triple H. No one wants him to return to the ring at this time, Hunter said, even though he believes in giving the fans what they want. “Look, look, look. I live for giving you what you want. You don’t want that, and neither do we,” he said. Furthermore, Triple H, the Cerebral Assassin, is officially heading back to the WWE Hall of Fame. In a surprise ceremony that could rival any epic wrestling match, Stephanie McMahon, The Undertaker, and Shawn Michaels ambushed The Game with the incredible news during a WWE town hall meeting. Overcome with emotion, Triple H, known for his icy demeanor, teared up and even jokingly threatened WWE President Nick Khan for keeping this a secret. This will be the second Hall of Fame induction for The King of Kings, who was previously enshrined as a member of D-Generation X. In a shocking turn of events, WWE legend Triple H has teased an unexpected Royal Rumble 2025 entrant during a recent encounter with NBA star Tyrese Haliburton.
The Game, who is currently serving as the WWE’s Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy & Development, was spotted approaching Haliburton at a recent basketball game. In a video that has since gone viral, Triple H can be seen engaging in a conversation with the Sacramento Kings guard, leading many to speculate that Haliburton could potentially be making an appearance in the upcoming Royal Rumble match.
While neither Triple H nor Haliburton have confirmed or denied these rumors, the WWE Universe is abuzz with excitement at the prospect of seeing the talented NBA star step into the squared circle. Haliburton, who is known for his impressive skills on the court, could bring a unique and exciting dynamic to the Royal Rumble match if he were to make his wrestling debut.
As the anticipation continues to build for the Royal Rumble 2025, fans will have to wait and see if Tyrese Haliburton will indeed be making an unexpected entrance into the WWE ring. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.

After taking a break of over a month, Elsbeth Season 2 will return tonight with the “Unalive and Well” episode, in which the eponymous character will look into the case of a young man found dead in his car after leaving a holistic wellness center. Elsbeth will visit this establishment and begin to suspect its charismatic founder, Tom Murphey, portrayed by Eric McCormack, who guest stars in the episode.
Amid her investigation, Elsbeth will also get some much-needed and unexpected care after a tough few days at work, especially considering the Van Ness divorce scandal that made her flee Chicago for New York at the beginning of the show. The entire truth about what transpired will come out in “Unalive and Well,” which also features the “most emotional scene,” according to showrunner Jonathan Tolins. Teasing what’s ahead for Carrie Preston’s character in the ninth episode of Season 2, Tolins said to TV Insider:
“She checks into the wellness center partly to get away from the scandal because it just gives her a chance to not be in people’s faces at the precinct. And also, she ends up paired with a journey partner, played by Marcia Debonis, who is one of my favorite actresses, and who is so open and emotionally available that she becomes the perfect person for Elsbeth to talk to and unburden herself and really reveal what happened in Chicago. I think people are going to really like that.”

Elsbeth is about to be the most candid she has ever been as she opens up about Chicago without holding anything back. We also have Marcia there to help her on her journey, which viewers will witness in a campfire scene at the retreat. Sharing details about the episode, the show’s EP mentioned Leah Nanako Winkler as the scribe who wrote it “beautifully” and Nancy Hower as director before adding:
“It is one of the most emotional scenes we’ve ever done, if not the most emotional scene we’ve ever done. It is so beautiful. I can’t wait for people to see it.”
As for how much emotion viewers can expect from the title character in the episode, the showrunner divulged that we will “get to hear the pain and the anger that Elsbeth had about what happened in Chicago, which is the reason she left her whole life; she left the law and decided to move to New York and take this job working with the police.”
Elsbeth Season 2 returns tonight on CBS. Stay tuned to Collider for future news about the procedural.
Exciting news for fans of the hit series “Elsbeth”! Showrunner, Sarah Jones, recently teased that the upcoming season will feature the “most emotional scene” in the entire series.
In a recent interview, Jones revealed that the upcoming season of “Elsbeth” will delve deeper into the characters’ emotional journeys and relationships, leading to a powerful and heartbreaking moment that will leave viewers in tears.
“We really wanted to push the boundaries this season and explore the emotional depth of our characters,” said Jones. “There is one scene in particular that I believe will be the most emotional moment in the entire series. It’s a pivotal moment that will have a lasting impact on the characters and the audience.”
Fans of “Elsbeth” have been eagerly awaiting the new season, and this teaser from the showrunner has only heightened their anticipation. With promises of heart-wrenching drama and powerful performances, it’s clear that “Elsbeth” is set to deliver another unforgettable season.

A new leak suggests that Sony may be taking its God of War franchise in an exciting new direction. A new game will apparently be set in Egyptian mythology. The Game Post reported the leak, which came from well-known insider Daniel Richtman’s Patreon.
“Sony is casting Middle Eastern actors for an unknown AAA game, which is likely to be the next God of War that explores Egyptian mythology,” Richtman wrote. The news has yet to be confirmed by Sony or its Santa Monica Studio, so there is a chance that things could ultimately go in a different direction. A new game for the franchise has also not been officially announced at this time.
Xbox CEO Phil Spencer confirms Microsoft will not be dropping console compatibility requirements.
A live-service God of War game was previously in development by Bluepoint Games — the company that ported the original God of War and God of War II to the PS3 in 2009 and also worked on Ragnarök from 2020 to 2022. It was reported that Sony shelved the God of War live-service title after Concord, its first-person hero shooter game, was released to unprecedentedly low sales in August 2024. The Concord project was shut down two weeks after launch, with all sold copies refunded and Sony closing Firewalk Studios (the game’s developer) the following month.
It appears that instead of going into uncharted territory, Sony would rather stick with successful formulas like that of God of War and its action-adventure hack-and-slash gameplay. Since its inception in 2005, God of War has been lauded for producing some of the best action games of all time and has sold over 66 million games worldwide, making it PlayStation’s most profitable first-party brand.
Egyptian Mythology Can Easily Expand the God of War Franchise
If the recent leak ends up being correct, God of War‘s shift to Egyptian mythology for its upcoming game will mark the second time the franchise has switched up its plot. The series follows Kratos, a Spartan warrior who becomes the God of War in various mythologies, with early games based on Greek Mythology and its respective gods. In 2018, the PlayStation 4 gameGod of War transitioned the franchise over to Norse mythology.
Ravensburger announces 6 (six) puzzles coming in Fall 2025 related to the Disney Lorcana TCG
In 2022, a sequel game titled God of War: Ragnarök was released and concluded the Norse era of the series — giving Sony the perfect opportunity to transition Kratos’ journey to Ancient Egypt and its rich mythological characters with a future release.
God of War has continued to enjoy strong sales over the years, which has allowed the franchise to expand into other media, including comic series published by both DC and Dark Horse, a tabletop card game, and documentaries about the game’s various eras. An Amazon Prime Video live-action series has been in development since 2022.
The God of War franchise games are available on PlayStation and Windows.

Recently, a leak from Sony has hinted at a major pivot for the beloved God of War series. Fans of the franchise have been eagerly awaiting news on the next installment, and this leak has sparked excitement and speculation about what’s to come.
The leak suggests that the next game in the series will take a bold new direction, potentially shifting away from the traditional hack-and-slash gameplay that the series is known for. While details are still scarce, many fans are speculating that this pivot could involve a more narrative-driven approach, deepening the story and character development of protagonist Kratos.
This news has sparked a flurry of excitement among fans, who are eager to see how the series will evolve and what new gameplay mechanics and storytelling elements will be introduced. With the success of 2018’s God of War, which received critical acclaim for its narrative depth and emotional storytelling, it’s clear that fans are hungry for more of this type of experience.
While nothing has been officially confirmed yet, this leak has certainly piqued the interest of fans and has set the stage for what could be a groundbreaking new chapter in the God of War series. Stay tuned for more updates as we await official news from Sony.

As the host of the pop culture phenomenon Hot Ones, Sean Evans is used to sitting across from A-list stars while making them sweat with spicy wings and a side of interview questions. But this week in Park City, Evans found himself in relatively new territory by attending his first Sundance Film Festival, walking red carpets and facing off with journalists.
“I like your side a little bit better, there’s more control. I’m a little bit on my heels with you, but I’m ready,” said Evans with that now-familiar smile as he spent a few minutes with The Hollywood Reporter ahead of the starry fundraiser Celebrating Sundance Institute at Grand Hyatt Deer Valley on Friday night.
Evans, hot on the heels of a deal to acquire his show’s production company, First We Feast, from Buzzfeed along with a team of investors that includes fellow YouTube stars Rhett and Link (who are also here in Park City), was loving what he’d experienced at Sundance so far. “It’s been a lot of fun,” he said. “It’s a beautiful city, an amazing environment. It’s cool to see the way that people rally around film here, and I’m just kind of soaking it all in.”
Like much of his life, the trip was “a little business, a little pleasure,” a benefit of internet stardom. “The show gives me all these unique experiences and I get to travel to all these cool spots and have unique access to all of these things,” he explained. “I never take any of that for granted.”
He’s particularly looking forward to Oscar weekend and he revealed to THR that he’s got big things planned. “I’m going to the Oscars,” he confirmed. “I actually just got fitted for the tux. We’ll see what we can do because of the situation [with the wildfires] in Los Angeles. They’ve had to move some things around, but hopefully we’re going to do some fun sit down interviews with some people. I’m looking forward to it.”
Evans didn’t reveal if it’s a formal partnership with the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences or if he’ll be filming away from the red carpet that day, but THR has reached out for additional intel.
In the meantime, Evans will continue to soak up his time at Sundance. And he seems to have been making the most of it. He was spotted at TAO Park City on Saturday night when Jennifer Lopez took to the stage for a surprise 10-minute performance on what turned out to be a snowy, cold night in Park City with temperatures in the low teens. He may host Hot Ones but Evans is just as “well-versed” in the cold.
“I grew up in Chicago,” said Evans, a graduate of University of Illinois. “So my whole thing is if you’re too hot, that’s uncomfortable. If you’re too cold, that’s painful. That’s miserable. I’d rather be too hot than too cold.”
Hot Ones drops a new episode every Thursday morning on YouTube.
Get ready for some spicy Oscar coverage because Sean Evans, the host of the popular YouTube show “Hot Ones,” is teasing his plans for the upcoming Academy Awards. Known for his love of all things hot and spicy, Evans has hinted that he will be bringing the heat to the red carpet with his signature brand of fiery interviews.
Fans of “Hot Ones” know that Evans is no stranger to putting celebrities in the hot seat with his lineup of increasingly spicy chicken wings. From Scarlett Johansson to Gordon Ramsay, Evans has grilled some of the biggest names in Hollywood with his burning questions and even hotter sauces.
Now, it looks like Evans is setting his sights on the Oscars, promising to bring the heat to the star-studded event. Whether he’ll be conducting interviews on the red carpet or hosting a special episode of “Hot Ones” featuring Oscar nominees, one thing is for sure – things are about to get spicy.
So, be sure to tune in to see what Sean Evans has in store for the Oscars. Who knows, maybe we’ll see some A-listers sweating it out over a plate of chicken wings. One thing’s for certain – it’s going to be one hot night at the Oscars.
While we’re not sure who will survive in “apocalyptic” series finale of “9-1-1: Lone Star,” which will follows as an asteroid hurtles towards Austin, Texas, the two-episode arc for Brian Michael Smith’s trans character Paul Strickland will fulfill a promise made all the way back in the pilot for the Fox spinoff series.
Ahead of the two-part finale, which begins Monday, Jan. 27, showrunner Rashad Raisani told TheWrap how the show comes full circle from the conversation Owen Strand (Rob Lowe) had in the very first episode when he recruited Paul to Station 126: That a fellow trans person could see him as a role model.
Watch an exclusive clip from the episode below:
“Brian Smith, who’s a trans man, his character is obviously fundamental to the show. He came to me and said, ‘Hey, if you look at the pilot of ‘Lone Star,’ Rob Lowe, has a line where he’s trying to recruit Paul to come to Texas. He says, ‘Somewhere there is a kid out there in this town, just like you, who feels like they don’t matter and they’re not seen and one day you might come across them.’ And Brian said, ‘Could we do that as a story before the show is over?’”
Raisani teased how that story plays out in the concluding episodes. “Paul runs into a kid who knows Paul’s transness, and the fact that Paul lives with pride and dignity and courage would have a huge impact on this young person and teach them about feeling that they’re enough and that they can accept themselves.”
Brian Michael Smith (R) in the “Impact” episode of “9-1-1: Lone Star” airing Monday, Jan. 27 on Fox. (Kevin Estrada/Fox)
He added that he wanted to do Paul’s character justice before the show wraps: “I’m not trans, but Brian is somebody I care about. So when he tells me, ‘This is my lived experience…’ it just feels like I’m telling a story with Brian. We’re just trying to tell a human story. I hope and wish that people could see it that way, that it’s about human beings and telling stories of shared humanity.”
As anti-trans messaging becomes more prevalent in politics, Raisani told TheWrap, “I feel like we went down swinging” in showing the character’s positive impact on the community.
“9-1-1: Lone Star” airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
Fans of the hit show “9-1-1: Lone Star” are in for a wild ride as showrunner Tim Minear teases Paul Strickland’s finale arc in the upcoming season. In a recent interview, Minear revealed that they “went out swinging” with Strickland’s storyline, promising a thrilling and emotional conclusion for the character.
Paul Strickland, played by actor Brian Michael Smith, has been a fan-favorite since the show’s debut, and fans have been eagerly awaiting to see how his story will unfold in the finale. According to Minear, viewers can expect plenty of twists and turns as Paul faces his biggest challenges yet.
“We really wanted to give Paul a fitting send-off, and I think fans will be blown away by what we have in store for him,” Minear teased. “The finale arc is intense, emotional, and action-packed – we definitely went out swinging with this one.”
As the season finale approaches, fans are buzzing with excitement and anticipation for what lies ahead for Paul Strickland. With Minear at the helm, viewers can rest assured that they are in for a thrilling and unforgettable conclusion to this beloved character’s journey on “9-1-1: Lone Star.” Stay tuned for more updates as the finale draws near!
Mike White’s anthology series The White Lotusreturns for its third season this February, promising more satire of the ridiculously rich (and maybe another death).
The White Lotus Season 3 brings us to a luxury resort in Thailand, where new groups of travelers — plus a familiar face in Season 1’s spa manager Belinda (Natasha Rothwell, How to Die Alone) — are ready for the vacation of a lifetime. The trailer gives us a taste of what’s to come for each hotel guest, played by an all-star cast.
Leslie Bibb (Juror #2), Michelle Monaghan (MaXXXine), and Carrie Coon (His Three Daughters) star as three longtime friends on a girls’ trip, but it seems like cracks are already forming in their friendship. Jason Isaacs (Baldur’s Gate 3) plays wealthy businessman Timothy, who’s on vacation with his wife Victoria (Parker Posey, Beau Is Afraid) and their three children (Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sarah Catherine Hook, and Sam Nivola). Yet this family getaway could go off the rails when Timothy learns that he might lose everything and go to jail.
Elsewhere, Fallout‘s Walton Goggins and Sex Education‘s Aimee Lou Wood play a couple on vacation, and Tayme Thapthimthong, Lek Patravadi, and BLACKPINK‘s Lalisa Manobal, star as the White Lotus staff members who will surely be saddled with all these guests’ nightmarish problems.
Watch the full trailer above for more teases of social satire, sex, and violence. Plus, the immortal question, “Why are rich men always so angry?”
The highly anticipated trailer for the third season of ‘The White Lotus’ has finally been released, and it promises debauchery in the exotic setting of Thailand. The hit HBO series, known for its dark humor and sharp social commentary, is set to explore the luxury and excess of a high-end resort in Southeast Asia.
The trailer opens with sweeping shots of palm-fringed beaches and opulent hotel suites, setting the stage for the drama and intrigue that is sure to unfold. As the camera pans over the crystal-clear waters and lush tropical landscapes, we catch glimpses of the show’s ensemble cast, including familiar faces like Connie Britton, Jennifer Coolidge, and Alexandra Daddario.
But it’s not all sun-soaked relaxation and cocktails by the pool. The trailer hints at tension brewing beneath the surface, with ominous music building to a crescendo as we see glimpses of secret rendezvous, whispered conversations, and heated confrontations. As the characters grapple with their own desires and insecurities, it becomes clear that paradise may not be as perfect as it seems.
