  • Kim Kardashian Teases She’s Dating Someone New in ‘The Kardashians’ Season 6 Trailer

Kim Kardashian is dating once again.

In the season 6 trailer of The Kardashians released on Friday, Jan. 17, the mom of four reveals that she is seeing someone new and making future plans for them.

While Kim is outside of her home, she ponders building extra closet space just for her mystery beau.

“To here,” Kim blocks out the imaginary space with her open arms, “I make a whole ‘his’ closet.”

“You must really like him,” replies her mom, Kris Jenner, 69.

    “He’ll be happy,” Kim says.

In her confessional Kim says, “I had the intention of staying single. I was fully lying to you guys. Me not dating, and not wanting love and attention? I don’t think you know me.”

In October 2024, an exclusive source told PEOPLE that the law student doesn’t have time to date, and that she’s focused on work and motherhood.

“She’s not even dating anyone now. It’s all about work and the kids,” the source says of Kim’s four kids — North, 11, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5 — whom she shares with ex-husband Kanye West.

Following her separation from the Graduation rapper, 47, in 2021 after six years of marriage, Kim dated comedian Pete Davidson for nine months in 2022. He also appeared on season 2 of The Kardashians, as Kim detailed how they’re romance blossomed after working together on Saturday Night Live for Kim’s October 2021 hosting debut.

“I called the producer at SNL and I was like, ‘Hey, do you have Pete’s number?’ And they were like, ‘Yeah,’ and I text him. I wasn’t even thinking like, ‘Oh my god, I’m going to be in a relationship with him.’ I was just thinking like: heard about this BDE, need to get out there, like I need to just like jumpstart my — I was just basically DTF.”

In September 2023, a source told PEOPLE that Kim was hanging out with Odell Beckham Jr., following his split from his ex-girlfriend Lauren Wood. By April, however, their relationship “fizzled out,” a source told PEOPLE at the time.

During an appearance on the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast in May 2023, Kim described herself as a hopeless romantic, and detailed wanting to share her life with someone special.

“I think I’ll always be a hopeless romantic and always want to be in love and definitely love sharing my life with someone, and love creating a life with someone,” she said. “I definitely will take my time. And I think there’s so many factors, especially when you have kids and being mindful of people that enter in your life.”

And while she’s open to finding a partner, Kim said she doesn’t need someone to be responsible for her happiness. “I’m really content. My babies make me happy, my family, my life. You know, experiences make me happy,” she said.

The trailer highlights other milestones, including sister Khloe Kardashian’s 40th birthday, the sisters’ trip to India for the lavish Ambani wedding, and North performing in The Lion King at The Hollywood Bowl.

The Kardashians season 6 returns on Hulu on Thursday, Feb. 6, at 12 a.m. EST.

Kim Kardashian has fans buzzing with excitement after teasing that she’s dating someone new in the latest trailer for ‘The Kardashians’ Season 6. The reality TV star, who recently finalized her divorce from Kanye West, is seen getting cozy with a mystery man in the clip, leaving viewers wondering about her new love interest.

While Kim has yet to reveal the identity of her new beau, the trailer hints at a budding romance that will play out in the upcoming season of the hit reality show. Fans can’t wait to see how this new relationship unfolds and whether it will be a lasting one for the famous Kardashian sister.

  • Charlotte Flair Teases Her Comeback In New Video

Charlotte Flair continues to tease her comeback.

Flair has been sidelined since December 2023, as she suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus during a match against Asuka. She underwent surgery, and she has been training for her in-ring return in recent months.

In a new post on social media, Charlotte Flair shared a clip of herself training and teased that she would prove everyone wrong when she returned.

As of this writing, there is no word on when Charlotte Flair will return. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.

    Ric Flair On Charlotte Flair

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair is excited about Charlotte’s looming return. Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Ric Flair discussed her upcoming comeback.

“I am so excited for my daughter to come back,” he said. “I mean, geez. She won’t tell me anything because she says I have a big mouth. She tells her mom everything and won’t tell me, and I can’t get her mom to tell me. I really think it’s time. When she comes back…John Cena doesn’t want to break a record. He doesn’t give a shit about that. He’s in a different world now. I still think the biggest thing in the business when it happens, and it’ll be a real game-changer, just like she is in real life, is her breaking the title record, or even tying the record.”

“I believe it’s in the cards,” Flair continued. “I can look at the show, and I just think it’s a woman’s world now, and she’s the best women’s wrestler alive, and I think this time off, as unfortunate as it was because of the severity of the injury, I think that she’s been able to sit back and realize just how damn good she use. Because I guarantee you, when she walks back in the door, it’s gonna be a game-changer. I would bet $10,000 dollars that the first match she wrestles, if it’s a good opponent, will get a rating that’ll be the highest women’s rating in a long time in a singles match.”

  • Vincent D’Onofrio teases Mayor Fisk in ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ trailer (exclusive)

They’re not exactly friends, but they do have a history. The new trailer for Daredevil: Born Again is framed around a scene of Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) and Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) talking together at a New York City diner. Taking a break from their alter egos as vigilante Daredevil and crime lord Kingpin, these two seem to be chatting rather amiably — but there’s a bloody history lurking beneath their words.

This scene carries weight, not least because it’s rare. In fact, Cox exclusively tells Entertainment Weekly that he and D’Onofrio worked to minimize the amount of scenes they share together in the upcoming revival series, to save the impact for when it matters most.

“I believe you have to be really careful when and how you bring these two people into the same room because we have to feel like when they meet, it is an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object,” Cox says. “It has to feel like it could and will explode. The more you bring us together with no consequence, the less that illusion can maintain itself.”

Cox continues, “there’s actually an episode later on in the season where in an original draft we had a conversation, and I brought this up. I said, ‘I worry that if you tell the story that we can have a conversation and walk away from it at this stage, we lose a lot of stakes.’ So they found a really cool way to not have us do that.”

Sign up for Entertainment Weekly’s free daily newsletter to get breaking TV news, exclusive first looks, recaps, reviews, interviews with your favorite stars, and more.

Although the rivalry between Daredevil and Kingpin is likely what Daredevil fans are most excited to see in Born Again, the trailer makes clear that other old friends will be along for the ride as well. Jon Bernthal reprises his role as Frank Castle, a.k.a. the Punisher — and if Matt is asking him for help, you know the stakes are high. On a lighter note, Matt’s old friends Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson) and Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) are also back, which makes Cox very happy.

“I think of Karen and Foggy as being the heartbeat of Daredevil,” Cox says. “Without them, nothing that Matt does really has any emotional impact. The humanity and vulnerability that they brought to those characters allows me as Matt to really delve into the darkness.”

The new trailer also confirms something that was first hinted at in the Echo finale: Fisk will be running for mayor of New York City. Hey, if Donald Trump can be re-elected president while under legal indictment, why can’t the Kingpin of Crime become the legal leader of New York? Though the storyline is inspired by the recent “Mayor Fisk” saga in Marvel’s Daredevil comic (written by Charles Soule and Christos Gage, with art by Ron Garney and Stefano Landini), D’Onofrio says viewers should prepare for the unexpected.

“Anything on our show is, nine out of 10 times, leading to something that’s even bigger and crazier,” says D’Onofrio, talking carefully to avoid premature spoilers. “For Fisk, this journey is a path to more control.”

Daredevil: Born Again premieres March 4 on Disney+. Watch the full trailer above.

Vincent D’Onofrio teases Mayor Fisk in ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ trailer (exclusive)

Fans of the hit Netflix series “Daredevil” have been eagerly anticipating the release of the upcoming season, and now they have even more reason to be excited. A new trailer for “Daredevil: Born Again” has been released, giving viewers a glimpse of what’s to come in the highly anticipated season.

In the trailer, we see Vincent D’Onofrio reprising his role as Wilson Fisk, also known as Kingpin, who now holds the title of Mayor of New York City. As the trailer unfolds, we see Fisk’s grip on the city tighten as he uses his power and influence to further his own agenda.

D’Onofrio’s portrayal of Fisk has been widely praised by fans and critics alike, and it looks like he will be delivering another powerful performance in the upcoming season. The trailer hints at the intense showdowns and moral dilemmas that await Matt Murdock, played by Charlie Cox, as he faces off against his most formidable foe yet.

With the return of fan-favorite characters and the introduction of new faces, “Daredevil: Born Again” is shaping up to be one of the most exciting seasons yet. Stay tuned for more updates and be sure to mark your calendars for the premiere date. Daredevil fans won’t want to miss this thrilling new chapter in the story of the Man Without Fear.

  • Osgood Perkins Teases ‘Extreme’ Explosive Gore

The horror scene in 2024 was dominated by Longlegs. Osgood Perkins’ occultist shocker became an instant genre classic – not just for its ‘Silence Of The Lambs goes to hell’ vibe, or that Nicolas Cage performance. It was also full of surprises, narrative and tonally, taking audiences on a wild ride. And with his imminent new film, Perkins is ready to take fans by surprise all over again. The Monkey – a loose Stephen King adaptation – is an absurdist tale of death-by-toy-ape, one that aims to take the undercurrent of dark humour in Longlegs and bring it to the fore. Oh, and it’s going to be seriously gory.

“If you’re going for comedy then you’re going for extremes. Not subtlety,” Perkins tells Empire of where he’s landed with The Monkey. “We are guilty of putting far more blood in our human bodies than is really in a human body. When someone explodes in this movie — and a couple of people do — there’s a lot of mess.” Ah yes, the mess. Because The Monkey – like all good comedies – is all about the absurdity, the pointlessness, the randomness of death, the film looking to deal out the darkest fates with an almost cartoonish abandon. “All the death set-pieces were hard to do,” Perkins says. “They all have a Rube Goldbergian connectivity — this happens, then this happens, then this happens…”

The result might not be exactly what audiences are expecting after Longlegs. But that’s exactly what Perkins was aiming for. “I honestly feel fucking great about [how different The Monkey is from Longlegs],” he explains. “I can’t think of another morbidly surreal horror comedy that’s also heartwarming and redemptive and stars a bona-fide movie hunk. That’s the best news I can offer to people who liked Longlegs — we make all kinds. Why would anyone want to be fed the same meal every day?” Dinner’s up, gore-heads.

    Empire – March 2025 – 28 Years Later cover

Read Empire’s full feature on The Monkey – getting the full story on Osgood Perkins’ wild follow-up to Longlegs – in the 28 Years Later issue, on sale Thursday 16 January. Pre-order a copy online here. The Monkey comes to UK cinemas from 21 February.

Osgood Perkins, the director known for his unique take on horror films, has recently teased that his upcoming project will feature “extreme” and “explosive” levels of gore. Known for his atmospheric and slow-burning style, Perkins has hinted at a departure from his usual approach with this new film.

Fans of Perkins’ work can expect a shift towards a more visceral and intense experience, with the director promising to push the boundaries of on-screen violence and horror. Perkins has described the film as a “visceral rollercoaster ride” that will leave audiences on the edge of their seats.

While details about the project are still scarce, Perkins’ tease of “extreme” gore has already generated buzz and excitement among horror fans. With his reputation for crafting atmospheric and unsettling films, Perkins’ foray into the world of explosive gore is sure to be a thrilling and unforgettable experience.

Stay tuned for more updates on Osgood Perkins’ upcoming project and get ready for a ride that promises to be intense, shocking, and unforgettable.

  • Dragon Ball Daima Producer Teases Secret Message in Episode Titles

Dragon Ball Daima Producer Teases Secret Message in Episode Titles

Dragon Ball Daima is one of the most popular anime shows of 2024. The series follows Goku and his friends after the events of the Majin Buu Saga and before Dragon Ball Super. King Gomah now reigns over the Demon Realm after the death of Dabura, the previous Demon Supreme King. However, he is afraid of the powers of those who played a part in Majin Buu’s defeat. Feeling threatened by the possibility that Goku and his friends might invade the Demon Realm, Gomah travels to Earth and uses their Dragon Balls to turn them into children.

    Videos by ComicBook.com

To make matters worse, he kidnaps Dende so Goku and the others can’t use the Dragon Balls again. Now, the heroes must set out on a new adventure in the Demon Realm and retrieve their Dragon Balls to undo King Gomah’s wish. The anime went on hiatus after releasing Episode 12, which featured Vegeta’s Super Saiyan 3 transformation. Episode 13 will be released on January 10th, 2025, which will follow the adventures of Goku and his friends as they navigate the unknown world. However, while the anime is ongoing, Executive Producer Akio Iyoku shares an interesting fact about the episode titles.

Dragon Ball Daima Episode Titles Convey a Secret Message

On January 1st, 2025, Executive Producer Akio Iyoku talked at the “All Night Nippon – Dragon Ball 40th Anniversary Special” radio show for about 20 minutes. He shares a lot of information about various topics related to Dragon Ball, including Daima.

While the radio show was only broadcast in Japan, @peraperayume shared an English translation of some important bits they took from Radiko’s official website.

The translation says, “The red characters in the Daima episode titles have some kind of meaning. It’s something to think about, but Iyoku can’t say anything more yet.”

@Herms98 shares, “Each Daima episode title is a single Japanese word with one katakana letter in red. Executive producer Akio Iyoku hints that these have some meaning but can’t say more yet. The red letters so far: ボグダべジヅビガゾバデヂズ (bo gu da be ji zu bi ga zo ba de ji zu)”

The user further speculates, “I can’t find any meaning in the letters so far, and probably it will only become clear once every episode title is known. Notably, all the letters so far have dakuten (the “ that turns an H sound into a B, a K into a G, etc), which would be unlikely to happen by chance.”

    Toei Animation

The anime has only released twelve episodes so far, so it will be a few weeks before the meaning behind those titles is clear. During the radio show, Iyoku says he can’t reveal when the final episode will air or how long the anime will continue. So, speculating the meaning behind the secret message is more challenging. After Episode 12, the story has taken a drastic turn as all the Dragon Balls of the Demon Realm have been acquired. While Goku and Vegeta have two of them, Arinsu getting her hands on one of them makes things more difficult.

    Creator teases season 3 game

Warning: This article contains spoilers about the Squid Game season 2 finale.

What’s more terrifying than one giant murder doll in Squid Game? Doubling the nightmares with two giant murder dolls, of course!

Season 2 of Netflix’s hit Korean drama upped the ante in the finale with a bloody cliffhanger ending followed by a mysterious, ominous credits scene featuring everyone’s favorite motion-detecting robot doll. Creator Hwang Dong-hyuk reveals the credits scene is actually a tease at what’s going to haunt us all in season 3.

“That’s actually a [sneak peek] of Cheol-su, who, like Young-hee, is a new giant doll that we’re going to be showcasing in season 3,” the creator/writer/director tells Entertainment Weekly. “And that’s also a hint at the most exciting game in season 3 as well. So, while it hasn’t been shared yet, I hope everyone will be excited to meet Cheol-su and the new game.”

The seven-episode second season ended on a truly devastating note for Gi-hun, a.k.a. Player 456 (Lee Jung-jae), after he tried to organize a rebellion against the Front Man (Lee Byung-hun) and the guards to put an end to the game. But Gi-hun had no idea that the Front Man was actually disguised as Player 001, who secretly sabotaged the violent and bloody war and killed many of the players — including Gi-hun’s BFF Jung-bae, a.k.a. Player 390 (Lee Seo-hwan), who was shot right in front of him in the closing moments.

But the shocking moments didn’t end there, as Squid Game then introduced a credits scene with three players (Player 096, Player 100, and Player 353) walking behind the Red Light, Green Light killer doll Young-hee, a close-up shot of Young-hee’s face, and then a close-up shot of Cheol-su, a young boy killer robot doll wearing a green hat and green striped shirt. The credits scene ends with a red light turning off and a green light switching on.

Hwang first teased the introduction of Cheol-su in June 2022 when he announced that Squid Game was renewed for a second season. “Join us once more for a whole new round,” he wrote in a message shared on the official Netflix account. “You’ll also be introduced to Young-hee’s boyfriend, Cheol-su.”

Squid Game season 2 is now streaming, and will return with season 3 in 2025, on Netflix.

  • Severance’s Adam Scott teases Mark’s personal battle in season 2

Severance’s Adam Scott teases Mark’s personal battle in season 2

Office worker Mark, who has been “severed” to maintain a work/life balance, began to question the sterile life in which he worked and lived, seeing the same three faces every day and sitting in an office cubicle as part of the ambiguous “macrodata refinement” (MDR).

Season 1 ended with Mark’s “Innie” temporarily breaking free into his “Outies” mind and discovering his wife Gemma (Dichen Lachman), whom he believed was dead, was actually alive and someone he knows as “Ms Casey” within Lumon’s walls.

With his world now shattered, and his time as an Outie now over, Mark has to deal with the fallout of MDR’s coup on the company as we pick up right where we left off for season 2.

Britt Lower and Adam Scott in Severance season 2

Britt Lower and Adam Scott as Helly and Mark in Severance season 2. Apple

Speaking exclusively to RadioTimes.com, actor Scott teased the trouble is only just beginning for the Innies trapped within Lumon’s walls.

“Season 1 was watching Innie Mark gradually grow disillusioned with Lumon, with this place that he believes in wholeheartedly, his whole identity is wrapped up in this place and Lumon, with Kier and Ms Cobel, you know, who’s like a mother figure to him,” he explained.

“He loves this place, and it’s all he knows, and so we watch him gradually grow disillusioned with it.”

“By the end of the season, I think he figured he had hit the ceiling of how disillusioned he could be with this place, but then he finds this explosive piece of information in his Outie sister’s house, and I think that blows the doors off, as far as anything he ever thought could happen, how depraved a company or a person could be. I don’t think his mind had ever even gone there.”

Scott continued: “So we’re kicking the season off with Innie Mark having this piece of information and how that will affect him down at MDR, whether he’ll be able to take that information and get it to his Outie, and how he would even try to do that.”

He teased: “Who knows, but that’s where we’re starting. That’s where the season is teeing off.”

Adam Scott as Mark in Severance season 2

While the cast are keeping tight-lipped about what to expect from the upcoming second season, which has been three years in the making, one thing that’s sure to be addressed is Innie Mark’s growing affection for co-worker Helly (Britt Lower), who viewers have learned is actually the daughter of Lumon CEO Jame Eagan.

Helly, a descendant of mysterious founder Kier Eagan, allowed herself to be “severed” to prove that the system works, and has a prominent position within Lumon. But in accordance with severance rules, even her Innie is unaware of this, with workers being offered limited information about their life in the outside world in order to focus on their job.

Growing close to Mark, she was one of the frontrunners of the MDR coup, helping Mark, Irving (John Turturro) and Dylan (Zach Cherry) in their efforts to communicate with their Outies.

Before the mission, she stole a kiss from Mark – which could prove another complication for him now he knows his Outie wife Gemma could still be alive.

Adam Scott as Mark in Severance season 2

Adam Scott as Mark in Severance season 2.

“That’s really complicated,” Scott said, keeping schtum about what lies ahead for the pair.

“That’s kind of like where the show… I think it lives, in terms of that tension,” he added. “Just, on my end, the tension of this idea of this first season where we’ve seen this relationship grow, and really these Innies grow as people, almost start to mature.

“You could say that they’re kind of like children in the first season, and we’ve said in the second season, it’s like they’re turning into adolescents, or they’re starting to just test the bounds of their world and develop emotional connections with each other.

“Those two aspects, Mark’s Outie and Mark’s Innie, are really at odds with each other in season 2.”

Severance season 2 launches on Friday 17th January on Apple TV+ with new episodes airing weekly. Season 1 is available now. Sign up for Apple TV+ here.

  • Minecraft 2 is Coming? Creator Notch Teases Minecraft Spiritual Successor on X

Minecraft 2 is Coming? Creator Notch Teases Minecraft Spiritual Successor on X

Markus Persson, better known as Notch, the legendary creator of Minecraft, has sent the gaming community into a frenzy with a tantalizing post on X (formerly Twitter). On January 1, Notch hinted at the possibility of creating a spiritual successor to his iconic game or continuing work on his current project—a roguelike, first-person dungeon crawler. His tweet, an open invitation for feedback, has reignited fan interest and sparked a wave of speculation about his next big move.

The Tweet That Started It All

“Honest and legitimate request for feedback for once,” Notch began. “The new game I’m passionately working on is currently set to be a traditional roguelike mixed with a tile-based first-person dungeon crawler. But then I gots to thinking that maybe there are people who like my work but might not share my taste in retro nostalgia and would prefer for me to make a spiritual successor thing to Minecraft, and I mean sure, I’d take that cash. So market research. I’d be happy to oblige either, which one would make you happier?”

Notch’s candid tone and acknowledgment of the commercial potential of a Minecraft-like project have already divided the gaming community. The excitement intensified with his follow-up post clarifying his position: “No, it would be super illegal. Instead, I’d make a new original game of the same type as Minecraft and call it something else. These are traditionally sometimes referred to as ‘spiritual successors,’ but usually kinda mostly feel a bit flat. But, like, if that’s actually what people want, I would LOVE to make that game. It’d be my Gremlins 2.”

    A Return to Form?

For many fans, the idea of Notch revisiting the sandbox genre is thrilling. After all, Minecraft remains one of the most influential games in history, blending creativity, survival mechanics, and community-driven play in a way that redefined modern gaming. Notch’s offer to create something in the same vein, even under a different name, feels like a rare opportunity to recapture the magic of those early Minecraft days.

But it’s not without challenges. As Notch himself noted, spiritual successors often struggle to live up to the legacy of their predecessors. The expectations for such a game would be astronomical, and some fans question whether lightning can strike twice.

    The X Gaming Community Responds

Notch’s request for feedback has sparked lively debates online. Some fans, like @chrisstanchak, directly called for “Minecraft 2,” despite the obvious legal hurdles. Others, such as @Boldheart1994, encouraged Notch to follow his creative instincts, emphasizing the personal joy his work has brought to their lives.

Meanwhile, not all responses were positive. Users like @TheFreeman1198 argued against the idea of a sequel, pointing out that Minecraft is still evolving with regular updates from Microsoft. On the other hand, humorous and extreme takes, such as one from @MaybeMidwits, show that the idea of a spiritual successor is far from universally accepted.

    Notch’s Current Project

While much of the attention has been on the potential Minecraft successor, Notch’s current project deserves its share of the spotlight. Known as “Levers and Chests” during its early development, the game was described by Notch himself as a roguelike with first-person dungeon crawling elements in his recent social media posts. This direction aligns with Notch’s love for retro-inspired mechanics, offering a more niche but equally intriguing gameplay experience.

Whether he pivots to a Minecraft-like game or stays the course with “Levers and Chests,” Notch’s willingness to openly consult his audience highlights a rare transparency in game development. This approach could redefine how creators interact with their communities in the early stages of a project.

    Wrapping it Up

Notch is clearly in a unique position. On one hand, he has the freedom to create whatever he wants, without the pressure of pleasing a corporate overlord. On the other, the shadow of Minecraft looms large over his career, and any attempt to revisit that genre will inevitably be compared to the original. It’s a double-edged sword, but one that Notch seems willing to wield.

Personally, I think the idea of a spiritual successor to Minecraft is exciting—but only if it brings something new to the table. Nostalgia can be a powerful tool, but innovation is what keeps games alive. If Notch can thread that needle, his next game could be a game-changer.

Meanwhile, there’s a Minecraft movie coming. And it doesn’t look all that great. If it does, blame Microsoft, not Notch.

What do you think? Should Notch follow his passion for roguelikes, or is the gaming world ready for another sandbox epic? Let’s keep the conversation going!

Wolf Man director teases his “100% practical” monster, as he admits “some people won’t like it because they love the traditional wolf too much”

Wolf Man director Leigh Whannell says that not everyone will like the look of the titular beast in the upcoming film – as the effects are 100% practical.

“I think you have to bring a new approach,” Whannell says in the new issue of SFX magazine, which features Star Trek spin-off movie Section 31 on the cover and hits newsstands on December 31. “Maybe there are some people that won’t like it because they love the traditional wolf too much, but that was the approach I wanted.” The filmmaker also adds that the Wolf Man is “100% practical, all make-up – there are no CGI elements.”

Director Leigh Whannell recently took to social media to tease fans about his upcoming film, “Wolf Man,” revealing that the film will feature a “100% practical” monster. Whannell, known for his work on horror films like “Upgrade” and “The Invisible Man,” has been vocal about his commitment to using practical effects in his latest project.

In his post, Whannell acknowledged that some fans may not be pleased with his interpretation of the iconic creature, stating, “Some people won’t like it because they love the traditional wolf too much.” This hints at a departure from the classic werewolf design that has been popularized in film and literature for decades.

Whannell’s decision to go practical with the monster design is sure to excite fans of practical effects and creature design, as it promises a more visceral and tangible portrayal of the Wolf Man. However, his acknowledgment of potential backlash from traditionalists suggests that he may be taking a bold and innovative approach to the beloved monster.

As details about “Wolf Man” continue to emerge, fans can expect a fresh take on a classic horror character that pushes boundaries and challenges expectations. Whannell’s commitment to practical effects and his willingness to take risks with the character’s design are sure to make “Wolf Man” a must-see for horror enthusiasts.

Iain Glen Teases Dangers to Come in ‘The Rig’ Season 2

After such an epic Season 1 finale that left viewers with questions unanswered, The Rig is set to return today, January 2, with its second season. In the new chapter, a lot is about to go down with the surviving crew of the Kinloch Bravo, who will be faced with an “awful conflict,” according to star Iain Glen. Glen, who stars as Magnus MacMillan, the leader of the crew, recently spoke to RadioTimes ahead of The Rig’s new season, teasing a goal-oriented journey for the crew as well as the challenges awaiting them.

Season 1 of the supernatural thriller stars Martin Compston, Iain Glen, Emily Hampshire, Mark Addy, Owen Teale, and Rochenda Sandall, all of whom will return in the upcoming season. Previewing what’s ahead in Season 2, particularly for the crew, Glen said:

“It’s a terrible predicament to put people in – you can sign this agreement, we’ll give you lots of money and you can try and find your loved ones who may not be with us anymore, or you can stay here and not do that.”

The Game of Thrones actor further spoke of the journey to come, saying there’s “less in-fighting” since the crew now have the same opinion of who the enemy is “or who we should be suspicious of.” He added:

“We’re all completely disorientated because we land not knowing where and we end up on this high-tech prototype… it’s investigating rare metals and minerals in the Arctic and it also has the capacity to go deep into the ocean and into the seabed.”

“There’s A Sense of Corporate Cover-up” in ‘The Rig’ Season 2

Created by David Macpherson, who wrote the scripts with Matthew Jacobs Morgan and Meg Salter, The Rig debuted on Amazon Prime Video on January 6, 2023, comprising six episodes that ended with a devastating tsunami and the remaining crew being whisked off on helicopters. As for what’s more to expect from the journey the crew will go on in Season 2, Glen shared:

“So we’re all in a very alien environment that we don’t understand and Pictor are asking a favour and are trying to incorporate us into a rescue mission and we’re very suspicious of them, understandably, after what has happened. There’s a sense of corporate cover-up.”

Meanwhile, earlier in the interview, the Resident Evil star hinted at the conflict looming in the future while praising the series’ creator and writer, David Macpherson.

“David just writes so well in getting to the heart of people’s awful conflict… he’s very good at bringing proper consequence. Sometimes in disaster movies, there don’t seem to be any real consequences – the goodies survive and let’s forget everyone who died in the meantime because our heroes are still alive.”

The Rig Season 2 premieres on Thursday, January 2. Check out its official trailer above!
