  • Mavericks Notes: Doncic Trade Reactions, Thompson, Davis, Christie

Mavericks players learned about the Luka Doncic trade through Shams Charania’s tweet late Saturday night and they had the same incredulous reaction as everyone else, writes Grant Afseth of Dallas Hoop Journal (subscription required).

“I was like everybody – did Shams get hacked? It was a real big shock,” Dante Exum said. “I’ve been traded twice, and you just learn that it’s how this business works, and it’s something you have to adjust to.”

The aftershocks of the surprise mega-deal continued to reverberate throughout the league on Sunday, particularly in the Mavs’ locker room as they played an afternoon game in Cleveland just hours after finding out that their franchise player was headed to Los Angeles. With Kyrie Irving, P.J. Washington, Daniel Gafford, Dereck Lively and Dwight Powell all sidelined due to injuries, Dallas couldn’t keep the game competitive, giving up 91 first-half points and losing by 43 to the best team in the East.

“It’s tough, but we all have a job to do,” Jaden Hardy said. “Obviously a lot of people were caught off guard, same with the team, like the rest of the world. He was special. A lot of guys felt for him. Still shocked right now.”

Hardy adds that Doncic sent out texts to all his teammates to say good-bye. He expressed gratitude for what they accomplished together and reflected on the bonds they created.

“He texted the team, thanking everybody for everything,” Hardy said. “That was nice from somebody that got traded, reaching out and letting everybody know his thoughts.”

    There’s more on the Mavericks:

    • After years of playing alongside Stephen Curry with Golden State, Klay Thompson decided to come to Dallas last summer to team up with another elite player in Doncic. Even though they were only teammates for a few months, Thompson isn’t second guessing his decision, Afseth tweets. “ I live with no regrets. I’m happy to be a Maverick,” Thompson said. “Incredibly grateful to be a Maverick. I’m excited to be in Dallas and I’m very excited for what’s ahead.”
    • The Mavericks aren’t sure when Anthony Davis will be ready to make his debut, according to Mike Curtis of The Dallas Morning News. Davis suffered an abdominal strain last week, and the Lakers were planning to reevaluate his condition on Wednesday. Dallas general manager Nico Harrison told reporters yesterday that the injury isn’t “significant” and he’ll have a better idea of when Davis can resume playing once his physical is complete. “I don’t have a perfect answer for that,” Harrison said. “I mean, everything just happened. I don’t even think it was midnight last night, like 2, 3 in the morning. So we’re still trying to get physicals, figure out how long that’s going to take, get people into the market.”
    • Max Christie was overshadowed by the bigger names in the trade, but he could turn out to be a valuable addition, observes Brad Townsend of The Dallas Morning News, who lists five things that Mavericks fans should know about the 21-year-old shooting guard.

The Dallas Mavericks have been making headlines recently with some major moves and player updates. Let’s take a look at some of the latest news surrounding the team:

    1. Doncic Trade Reactions: The Mavericks shocked the NBA world by trading superstar guard Luka Doncic to the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for a package of picks and players. Fans and analysts alike have been quick to share their reactions to the blockbuster trade, with many questioning the decision to part ways with one of the league’s brightest young talents.

    2. Thompson’s Impact: In the wake of the Doncic trade, the Mavericks have turned to newly acquired center Tristan Thompson to help fill the void left by the departing star. Thompson, known for his strong rebounding and defensive abilities, is expected to bring a physical presence to the Mavericks’ frontcourt and provide valuable veteran leadership to the team.

    3. Davis Injury Update: Mavericks forward Anthony Davis has been sidelined with a nagging knee injury in recent weeks, causing concern among fans about his long-term health and availability for the remainder of the season. The team has been cautious with Davis’ recovery, but hopes are high that he will be able to return to action soon and contribute to the Mavericks’ playoff push.

    4. Christie’s Emergence: Rookie guard Doug Christie has been turning heads with his impressive play off the bench in recent games, showcasing his scoring ability and defensive intensity. Christie’s emergence has been a bright spot for the Mavericks during a turbulent period of roster changes, and fans are excited to see how he continues to develop as the season progresses.

Overall, the Mavericks are facing a period of transition and uncertainty, but with new faces like Thompson and Christie stepping up, there is still plenty of optimism surrounding the team’s future. Stay tuned for more updates on the Mavericks as they navigate the rest of the season and beyond.

  • Blac Chyna Blasts Tristan Thompson for Calling Her Daughter Dream His ‘Daughter’

Blac Chyna is reacting to comments that Tristan Thompson made about her daughter Dream on a recent social media post.

The 36-year-old rapper — whose real name is Angela White — asked Thompson to stop “clout chasing” after he posted a video in which he referred to her 8-year-old daughter with Rob Kardashian as his “oldest daughter.”

A video shared on Instagram by Hollywood Unlocked shows the NBA player saying some words with “a message to Dream and True” written over the footage. In the short clip, he said, “I have two daughters, and their names are Dream, [who] is my oldest daughter, and True is the second oldest. Those are my two girls, and I miss you guys so much. And I love you guys.”

Under the post, Chyna commented, “Dream has one mother, Angela White, and one father, Robert Kardashian.”

She continued, “I usually don’t speak up, but I’m done. Stop all this clout chasing involving my daughter!”

“As parents, we have joint custody, and we also have a beautiful, healthy co-parenting relationship,” she concluded her message.

Chyna’s daughter Dream and Thompson’s daughter True, 6, frequently hang out together at Khloé Kardashian’s home. The pair can often be seen in videos The Kardashian star, 40, posts of them dancing and having fun at her home.

Earlier this week, Khloé even shared a video showing the two girls busting a move in their pink pajamas in different spots in her house after dinner — which isn’t out of the usual for the cousins. They have previously been videoed dancing to Whitney Houston and Beyoncé.

“Our nightly routine,” the Good American co-founder captioned one clip on her Instagram Stories of her daughter True and niece Dream performing a routine to “What’s My Name” from Descendants 2. “I really think dancing after dinner is good for our souls.”

“Somehow my counters have turned into stages,” she added alongside another video of the pair dancing atop her gray marble countertops. “Way better than the tables I used to dance on at the cleerrrbb.”

Along with True, Thompson shares son Tatum, 2, with Khloé. He also shares son Prince Oliver, 8, with model Jordan Craig, and son Theo, 3, with model Maralee Nichols.

Last year on the SHE MD podcast, Khloé opened up about her co-parenting relationship with Thompson, whom she split from in 2022, saying, “We get along so well now.”

“We’re not meant to be together, but he was meant to be the father of these kids. And we do get along so well, and I’m really grateful for that because my parents got along so well,” she added, referring to her parents Kris Jenner and Robert Kardashian Sr., who divorced in 1991.

Blac Chyna Blasts Tristan Thompson for Calling Her Daughter Dream His ‘Daughter’

Reality TV star Blac Chyna has taken to social media to express her anger towards NBA player Tristan Thompson for referring to her daughter Dream as his ‘daughter’. Chyna, who shares Dream with her ex-boyfriend Rob Kardashian, was quick to set the record straight and make it clear that Thompson has no right to claim her child as his own.

In a series of now-deleted tweets, Chyna slammed Thompson for his comments and accused him of trying to overstep his boundaries. She made it clear that Dream is her daughter and no one else’s, and that Thompson should not be trying to insert himself into their family dynamic.

Fans were quick to show their support for Chyna, with many praising her for standing up for herself and her daughter. Some even called Thompson out for his actions, accusing him of being disrespectful and out of line.

It remains to be seen how Thompson will respond to Chyna’s comments, but one thing is for sure – she will not back down when it comes to protecting her daughter. Dream is her pride and joy, and no one will take that away from her.

Tristan Thompson’s recent comments about Blac Chyna’s 8-year-old daughter, Dream Kardashian, seemingly hit a nerve with the rapper.

“Dream has one mother, Angela White, and one father, Robert Kardashian. I usually don’t speak up, but I’m done,” Chyna, 36, wrote via Instagram comment on Friday, January 31. “Stop all this clout-chasing involving my daughter!”

Chyna and Kardashian, 37, welcomed their only child together in November 2013 before they split less than one year later. (Chyna also shares son King Cairo, 12, with ex Tyga.)

“As parents, we have joint custody,” she wrote on Friday of her dynamic with Kardashian. “We also have a beautiful, healthy coparenting relationship.”

Khloe Kardashian Clarifies Why She Feels Like a ‘Third Parent’ to Rob Kardashian’s Daughter Dream

Thompson, 33, meanwhile, shares two children with Rob’s sister Khloé Kardashian after dating on and off between 2016 and 2021. (Thompson also shares son Prince, 8, with Jordan Craig and son Theo, 3, with Maralee Nichols.)

Earlier this month, Thompson claimed that he is a father figure to two daughters.

“I have two daughters and their names are Dream, [who] is my oldest daughter and True is the second oldest,” the NBA star said in a social media video reshared via Hollywood Unlocked’s Instagram account. “Those are my two girls and I miss you guys so much. I love you guys.”

Thompson and Khloé, 40, are parents to daughter True, 6, and son Tatum, 2. The Good American founder also has a close relationship with her niece Dream. In a 2023 episode of The Kardashians, Khloé even said that she feels like a “third parent” to Rob’s daughter, who often has sleepovers with True and Tatum. The comment sparked drama with Chyna, prompting Khloé to clarify her remarks.

“I love ALL of my nieces and nephews more than I can express. Dream and I are particularly close. My brother and I are extremely close,” Khloé said in a July 2023 Instagram Story statement. “I am with Dream all the time because I’m with my brother all of the time. I love her beyond measure.”

Rob Kardashian’s Daughter Dream Makes Instagram Debut: ‘Welcome to My New Page!’

She continued, “I consider ALL of my nieces and nephews my babies. I even consider my sisters my babies. I take pride in this love and always have. I wholeheartedly believe that it takes a village to raise a child. Life is full of ups and downs and I am proud that we have a family that can lean on one another. That’s what family does.”

Thompson, meanwhile, has not further addressed his recent comments about having “two daughters,” nor Chyna’s stance on his perspective.

Blac Chyna has had enough of Tristan Thompson’s claims about her daughter Dream. In a recent interview, the NBA star reportedly stated that Dream, who is the daughter of Chyna and her ex Rob Kardashian, is also his child. This statement did not sit well with Chyna, who took to social media to slam Thompson for his comments.

In a fiery post on Instagram, Chyna wrote, “I am so tired of Tristan Thompson spreading lies about my daughter. Dream is Rob’s child, and he has no right to claim otherwise. I am done with his games and his constant attempts to undermine my relationship with my daughter. Dream knows who her father is, and it is not Tristan Thompson.”

Chyna’s post quickly went viral, with many fans showing their support for her and condemning Thompson for his remarks. It is unclear what prompted Thompson to make such claims about Dream, but Chyna made it clear that she will not tolerate any further attempts to discredit her as a mother.

This latest drama adds to the already strained relationship between Chyna and the Kardashian-Jenner family, with whom Thompson shares a close bond. It remains to be seen how this situation will unfold, but one thing is for sure – Chyna is not backing down when it comes to defending her daughter.

  • Kyrie Irving Makes Bold Klay Thompson Statement After Dallas Mavericks Beat Pelicans

On Wednesday evening, the Dallas Mavericks beat the New Orleans Pelicans by a score of 137-136.

Klay Thompson finished the win with 20 points, four rebounds and one assist while shooting 6/11 from the three-point range.

After the game, Kyrie Irving spoke about his teammate (h/t Joey Mistretta of ClutchPoints).

Irving: “We’re making an emphasis to get him involved and to keep him involved throughout the game… Also, call his number when we don’t have anything offensively. He’s one of those emergency buttons for us.”

Thompson is in his first year with Dallas after 13 years with the Golden State Warriors.

The four-time NBA Champion is averaging 13.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists per contest while shooting 41.7% from the field and 39.6% from the three-point range in 41 games.

He has scored 20+ points in each of the previous two.

Via @MavsMuse: “Klay Thompson is leading the entire NBA in 3 pointers made this season (126) for players under 27.5 minutes per game.”

With the win, the Mavs are now 26-22 in 48 games, which has them as the eighth seed in the Western Conference.

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak (and 4-6 over their last ten).

Following New Orleans, the Mavs will play their next game on Saturday when they visit the Detroit Pistons in Michigan.

After the Dallas Mavericks secured a thrilling victory over the New Orleans Pelicans, Kyrie Irving made a bold statement about Klay Thompson that has NBA fans buzzing.

Irving praised Thompson’s incredible shooting ability, calling him “one of the greatest shooters of all time” and stating that he believes Thompson will have a major impact on the Golden State Warriors’ success this season.

Irving’s comments come at a time when Thompson is making his highly anticipated return to the court after missing two full seasons due to injuries. The Warriors are hoping that Thompson’s sharpshooting skills will help propel them back to championship contention.

With Irving’s high praise for Thompson, it’s clear that the NBA community is eagerly awaiting Thompson’s return and is excited to see him back in action. Stay tuned for more updates on Thompson’s comeback and the Warriors’ quest for another title.

  • Jason Kidd must quickly correct his Klay Thompson mistake and make key change

The Dallas Mavericks were able to edge away a 137-136 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday night, as the Mavericks were able to score at a very high volume despite New Orleans testing Dallas’ defense on the other side of the ball all night long. Dallas finally got some help from the injury department as Naji Marshall returned to the lineup after missing four games due to illness, and Marshall chipped in five points against his former team despite being on a minutes restriction.

Dallas still isn’t fully healthy by any stretch of the imagination, but they are getting closer to that territory with each passing game and have survived this Doncic-less stretch respectably, even if they have dropped one too many clutch contests. Ever since Doncic went down on Christmas Day versus the Minnesota Timberwolves, Dallas has gone 7-12, and they could easily be around .500 over this stretch if they didn’t drop so many close games as aforementioned.

The Mavericks still have the opportunity to be an elite team in the postseason this year, but they have to build up so momentum once the All-Star break comes to a close, and they could certainly use some more depth at the backup wing or big man position. Something else that can help the Mavericks maximize their lineup ahead of the playoffs would be to get Klay Thompson more involved offensively.

Kidd must keep running actions to unlock Thompson’s offense

Dallas was trending toward making Thompson more of a focal point in their offense back in December, but Thompson hasn’t been allotted the same level of spacing or looks with Doncic out of the lineup due to injury. In Dallas’ last two contests, though, Thompson has attempted 15 field goals each, and it has revolutionized Dallas’ offense. Kidd emphasizing getting Thompson more touches has been game-changing for the Mavs’ offense, but it wasn’t always this way.

Prior to Dallas’ last two games, Thompson had only attempted 15 or more field goals twice in the entire month of January, which simply isn’t enough for a movement shooter of his pedigree, even if buckets were harder to come by with Doncic sidelined. The Mavericks and their coaching staff were adamant about getting Thompson more involved offensively earlier in the season, but it seems like that notion shifted until very recently.

Dallas has gotten more creative with their off-ball actions to get Thompson open recently, as they are using a variety of pin-down, back screens, and cross screens to feed Thompson open looks on the perimeter and as a cutter. These actions tend to be more fruitful with Doncic in the game, but the Mavericks should’ve been trying to get Thompson more involved offensively all throughout January, as it could’ve been the perfect time to let Thompson get more comfortable as a secondary ball handler.

Dallas’ offense is best maximized when Thompson is hitting on all cylinders, and while they don’t need to force the ball down his throat when he’s having an off shooting night, they could definitely look at him as a source of offense in pivotal scenarios more often. On the contrary, when Thompson is on a heater like he was during the first quarter of Dallas’ Monday night victory over the Washington Wizards, the Mavericks need to do anything they can to keep getting him the ball, as Thompson made seven 3-pointers in the first quarter of that game.

Thompson getting going from beyond the arc like that pays huge dividends for Dallas’ offense, as it gives Thompson the ability to use his pump fake and playmaking abilities more successfully when the defense is pressed to contain his outside shooting. Kidd even referenced this after Dallas’ win over Washington on Monday.

“We set screens, we ran stuff for him,” Kidd said. “He responded in a positive way. Klay is very unselfish…[his teammates] made a conscious effort to get Klay going early and he responded in a positive way and just made the game easier for everybody else.”

Kidd has done a phenomenal job at encouraging his team to find Thompson over the last few games, and this level of urgency must continue moving forward to fully unlock his game.

Jason Kidd, the head coach of the Dallas Mavericks, made a critical mistake in the game against the Golden State Warriors by leaving Klay Thompson open for multiple three-point shots. Thompson, known for his sharpshooting ability, capitalized on the defensive lapse and helped the Warriors secure a crucial win.

In order to prevent similar mistakes in the future, Kidd must quickly correct his error and make a key change in the team’s defensive strategy. This may include assigning a more tenacious defender on Thompson or implementing tighter rotations to prevent open looks from beyond the arc.

It is imperative that Kidd addresses this issue promptly and ensures that his team is better prepared to defend against elite shooters like Thompson. Making this key change could make a significant difference in the Mavericks’ performance and help them secure more victories in the future.

  • Detroit Pistons Forward Ausar Thompson Named to NBA Rising Stars Game

On Thursday night, it was announced that Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham was named as a reserve for the Eastern Conference All-Star team. Amid recent developments, he won’t be the only member of the team partaking in the weekend’s festivities.

After the celebrity All-Star Game is the NBA Rising Stars game. The format has changed numerous times over the years, but has reverted back to rookies vs sophomores.

Like most years, injury replacements need to be named across all events of All-Star weekend. Ausar Thompson is a beneficiary of this, as he will now get to compete against this year’s rookies. On Friday evening, it was revealed that he’ll be joining the sophomore squad along with Anthony Black and Toumani Camara. This trio is taking the place of Victor Wembanyama, Brandon Miller and Dereck Lively.

Thompson spent an extended time on the sidelines dating back to last season due to a blood clot diagnosis. However, the versatile forward was able to make his triumphant return at the end of November. Thompson has played in 25 games so far this season, and is averaging 8.2 PPG, 4.7 RPG, and 1.6 APG.

Competing in the Rising Stars game should be a fun moment for Thompson, as it will give him the chance to play alongside his twin brother. Also named to the sophomore roster is Houston Rockets standout Amen Thompson.

With Ausar now in the game, the Pistons will now be represented in two of the three nights of All-Star weekend. All they’re missing is Saturday, though that could change if Malik Beasley is chosen to compete in the Three-Point Contest.

The Detroit Pistons have announced that forward Ausar Thompson has been named to the NBA Rising Stars Game, which will take place during All-Star Weekend.

Thompson, a standout rookie for the Pistons, has been turning heads with his impressive play on both ends of the court. The 6’9″ forward has been a key contributor to the team’s success this season, averaging 15 points and 8 rebounds per game.

Fans and analysts alike have taken notice of Thompson’s versatility and athleticism, making him a natural choice for the Rising Stars Game. This showcase of the league’s top young talent will give Thompson the opportunity to shine on a national stage and continue to make a name for himself in the NBA.

Congratulations to Ausar Thompson on this well-deserved honor, and best of luck in the Rising Stars Game! #DetroitBasketball #RisingStarThompson

  • Amen Thompson caps career night with game winner vs. Celtics

BOSTON — Amen Thompson hit a game-winning floater with 0.7 seconds left and finished with 33 points to lead the Houston Rockets to a 114-112 victory over the Boston Celtics on Monday night.

Dillon Brooks shot 10-of-15 from 3-point range and led Houston with 36 points. The Rockets won for the ninth time in 11 games.

Jaylen Brown had 28 points for the Celtics, and Jayson Tatum added 19 after a scoreless first half. Luke Kornet had 18, and Kristaps Porzingis scored 17 to go with eight rebounds.

Rockets leading scorer Jalen Green was held to 12 points.

Alperen Sengun broke free off an inbounds play and went in for an easy dunk, pushing Houston in front 112-110. After a timeout, Tatum got the ball near midcourt and drove in for the tying layup with 5.3 seconds left. Thompson responded by taking the ball from just outside the 3-point line and driving to the rim to hit the winner over Brown.

“That was my first game-winner,” said Thompson, who set a career high with his 33 points. “I feel like Kobe.”

Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla blamed himself for the last two defensive breakdowns.

“Those last two plays were on me,” he said. “Those were my fault. Didn’t put us in the best matchups. I saw the play that they were trying to run, and I tried to change the matchups and put our guys in a tough spot.”

The Celtics easily won the first meeting between the teams in Houston on Jan. 3.

Houston coach Ime Udoka said before the game that forward Cam Whitmore was “sick and back at the hotel.” For the Celtics, center Al Horford was a very late scratch after going through warmups, while Derrick White (bruised right shin) and Sam Hauser (right hip) were both out.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.

In a thrilling matchup against the Boston Celtics, Amen Thompson put on a show for the ages. The young guard had a career night, finishing with a career-high 40 points, 10 assists, and 8 rebounds. But it was his clutch shot in the final seconds that stole the show.

With the game tied and the clock winding down, Thompson drove to the basket and hit a tough floater over two defenders to give his team the lead. The crowd erupted as the final buzzer sounded, securing a hard-fought victory for his team.

Thompson’s performance was nothing short of spectacular, showcasing his incredible scoring ability and composure under pressure. It was a moment that will be remembered for years to come, solidifying his place as a rising star in the league.

Congratulations to Amen Thompson on a memorable night and a game-winning shot that will go down in history. Amen! #GameWinner #CareerNight #RisingStar

  • Khloe Kardashian Reflects on Lamar Odom Drug Use, Tristan Thompson Cheating Scandals

    https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=4YFUaF_0yVZldtZ00
    X/Getty

On her podcast, Khloe reveals a “pivotal” moment in her marriage to Odom amid his drug use … and explains why she allowed Tristan in the delivery room 48 hours after learning he cheated on her.

Khloe Kardashian is looking back at two particularly difficult moments in her life — weathering a substance abuse issue with ex-husband Lamar Odom , as well as a cheating scandal with the father of her two children, Tristan Thompson .

On the latest episode of her Khloe In Wonder Land podcast, Kardashian sat down with author Mel Robbins for an hour all about how to “Change Your Mindset,” as the pair shared tips on building up resilience while Khloe also offered insight into her own struggles.

During the chat, Odom came up when Khloe was asked whether she’s ever been in a situation “where you know what you need to do but you can’t make yourself do it.”

“I remember, I was married and my ex-husband had a drug addiction. And I knew that his addiction always heightened — he was in the NBA — and I knew his addiction always heightened when he had his off-season, cause idle time is the devil’s playground,” Khloe said.

“And so I remember he was asked to go to Team USA, if I remember correctly, and I was begging, ‘Please, please go to Team USA,’ and I was pushing, and I remember he just looked at me and said, ‘You can’t want it more than I do,’” she recalled.

“I remember when he said you can’t want it more than me, he’s like, ‘You want to suit up? because can’t suit up and I don’t want it,” said Khloe, calling it a “so profound” moment in her life and their marriage.

Khloe Kardashian Hasn’t Dated In 3 Years, ‘Wouldn’t Wish’ Past Romance Trauma On Anyone

“It’s so silly, because I know that. But I wanted it so badly, because I wanted to help him and to get him to feel the motivation and feel good, but he just wasn’t in that place,” she added. “I was like, I know what I need to do and it took me a long time to get to, then I had to file for divorce, but that came after.”

Calling it a “very pivotal moment in my life,” Khloe said it’s when she realized she “can’t want your life more than you.”

Later in the episode, Odom came up again when she recalled the first time seeing him party in Las Vegas. While she initially said she thought it was “just how he blows off steam” she realizes that wasn’t the case now.

“In hindsight, I was like, I don’t wanna be with someone that does [drugs] even just a little. Because it could easily be a slippery slope,” she shared. “But you are in love and you’re like, ‘It’s fine.’”

“I remember it would then turn into two days in a row,” she said of his partying, adding that it took her a year and a half to realize “the extent of what was going on” with his substance abuse because “he was really good at concealing it.”

    Tristan Thompson’s Cheating Scandal

During the conversation, Kardashian also looked back at how she handled Tristan Thompson’s first cheating scandal — which was made public just as a then-pregnant Khloe was about to give birth to their first child, True Thompson.

“Well the crazy thing is I would draw back to the feelings I had with Lamar — Lamar was my first husband — I knew how to deal with this media scandal. And I was in Cleveland, Ohio, so like let me just stay here for a little bit because that’s where I gave birth,” she recalled.

“And I just knew sort of to stay away from the noise, which L.A. has a lot of noise,” Khloe continued, adding that she also “stayed away from my phone” and “definitely isolated” herself after giving birth. “I never left my house for a few months, I was just with her,” she added.

“I built this little cocoon for us and it was the most magical experience. I wasn’t in denial about all the noise, I didn’t want to pay attention to it,” she added.

She also gave more insight into why Thompson was allowed into the delivery room when she gave birth — after being asked whether she wanted him there at all after his affair.

“And I remember when Tristan had an affair, it was public and I gave birth 48 hours later. And people were like, ‘Do you want him in the hospital room when you’re giving birth?’” she remembered. “And it was my first baby and I said, ‘I do and let’s all act like this didn’t happen.’ Because my daughter’s going to see this home footage one day.”

“I was thinking for my daughter True. And I get sad if I ever see myself because I can tell I’m blank and it’s an out-of-body experience. I just went into autopilot,” she continued. “And I just went into, I’m not here, I was not present. But my body was there, I gave birth, I did what I had to do.”

The decision was all for True, she added, saying that she wanted her daughter to know that her “dad was in the room” when she was born.

“And then when it was done, I was like, ‘I can’t talk to you’ when I put my home camera down,” Khloe concluded. “But I made sure to do what I needed to do for her.”

That, of course, wasn’t Thompson’s only scandal. He later allegedly made a move on Kylie Jenner’s then-BFF Jordyn Woods in 2020, before, in 2021, he welcomed a child with Maralee Nichols while he and Khloe were preparing to welcome their second son, Tatum, together.
