  • CM Punk Shares His Thoughts On Seth Rollins’ Big Red Shoes, ‘A Little Too Notice Me’

On WWE Raw in 2023, Seth Rollins wore giant red boots, which had become all the craze on social media.

Rollins has not shied away from fashion over the years, often wearing outfits that might be considered over the top to help enhance his personality.

Missa Kate On WWE ID: It’s Incredible, Whoever Came Up With It Is Incredibly Smart

Going Sneaker Shopping with Complex, CM Punk was asked about Rollins’ big red shoe choice.

“Completely ignorant and stupid. I don’t know why anyone, outside of being in a movie or a television show, would wear those in real life. I’m not trying to gatekeep shoes or anything like that. It seems a little too ‘notice me’ for me,” he said.

    That settles that.

Punk ended up spending over $3,000 on three pairs of shoes during his shopping venture.

Rollins and Punk will both be in the men’s Royal Rumble at WWE Royal Rumble.

Former WWE superstar CM Punk recently shared his thoughts on current superstar Seth Rollins’ new ring gear, specifically his eye-catching big red shoes. In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Punk described Rollins’ choice of footwear as “a little too ‘notice me’ for my taste.”

Punk, known for his no-nonsense attitude and minimalist ring gear, has never been one to go for flashy or attention-grabbing attire. He went on to say that while he respects Rollins as a performer, he personally finds the big red shoes to be a bit over-the-top.

Rollins, on the other hand, has been known for his bold and colorful ring gear throughout his career. The former Universal Champion has never been one to shy away from making a statement with his fashion choices, and the big red shoes are just the latest example of his unique style.

It’s clear that Punk and Rollins have different opinions when it comes to ring gear, but at the end of the day, it’s all about personal preference. Fans can continue to expect Rollins to make bold fashion statements in the ring, while Punk will no doubt stick to his more understated look.

  • Titans Coach Brian Callahan Meets QB Shedeur Sanders, Shares His Thoughts on Sanders and QB Cam Ward

Fix today. Protect forever. Secure your devices with the #1 malware removal and protection software

DENTON, Texas. – It started with an introduction.

Titans coach Brian Callahan saw quarterback Shedeur Sanders, decked out in a Colorado sweatshirt, here on Friday morning on the campus of the University of North Texas, so he went up and started what turned into a 15-minute conversation.

Sanders is in town for East-West Shrine Bowl practices, and teams across the NFL flooded the school’s indoor practice facility to see the quarterbacks at a throwing session. The Titans are well represented here, with Callahan, new general manager Mike Borgonzi, and president of football operations Chad Brinker joined by coaches and scouts from the team.

“You can tell he’s been raised right,” Callahan said of his first impression of Sanders, son of Colorado coach and NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders. “He’s mature, he has a really poised way about him, and he seems like a really good kid. I enjoyed talking to him. And, you could tell he’s a guy who has been in the spotlight. He knows how to handle himself, he’s been paid money, so he has a financial perspective.

“It was a really good first impression.”

The Titans headed into their offseason with the No.1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, and it’s no secret they’re interested in quarterbacks, from draft eligible players to potential free agents.

In the coming months, they’ll have a number of opportunities to meet the stars of college football, from Sanders to Miami’s Cam Ward to Mississippi’s Jaxson Dart to Alabama’s Jalen Milroe to many more.

While scouts have been on the road for months, the East-West Shrine Bowl presents the best opportunity for those wrapped up in football during the fall, like Callahan, to see a bunch of prospects. Next week the Titans will head to Mobile, Ala., for Senior Bowl practices, next month the group will head to Indianapolis for the NFL Combine, and then there will be Pro Days, private workouts, and officials visits leading up to the draft.

Sanders didn’t throw during a throwing session for the QBs here on Friday, but he’s scheduled to take part in practices in the coming days. Ward, considered by many to be the top quarterback prospect in this year’s draft class, isn’t here, and he’s not scheduled to be in Mobile either.

This week, the Titans will dig deeper into Sanders, who threw for 4,134 yards and 37 touchdowns in 2024.

“The thing that stands out the most is his toughness,” Callahan said of Sanders. “He took some pretty big shots and he kept rolling. He can stand in the pocket and deliver it. He can move and create a bit, he has some ability to move out the pocket, and he does create on his own. He’s not a high-end dynamic scrambler necessarily, but he is productive when he does. And he really has a good feel for anticipation and timing, you can tell he’s been coached in that regard. Those things show up on tape.”

Titans Coach Brian Callahan recently had the opportunity to meet with highly touted quarterback Shedeur Sanders, son of NFL legend Deion Sanders, as well as quarterback Cam Ward. Callahan shared his thoughts on both young quarterbacks and their potential impact on the football field.

During the meeting, Callahan was impressed by Shedeur Sanders’ strong arm, football IQ, and leadership qualities. He praised Sanders for his work ethic and dedication to improving his game, noting that he has the potential to be a standout quarterback at the collegiate and possibly professional level.

In addition to Sanders, Callahan also had the chance to speak with Cam Ward, another promising young quarterback with impressive skills and potential. Callahan noted Ward’s accuracy, decision-making, and poise under pressure, highlighting him as another player to watch in the coming years.

Overall, Callahan expressed excitement about working with both quarterbacks and helping them further develop their talents. He believes that Sanders and Ward have bright futures ahead of them in football and looks forward to seeing them excel on the field.

Travis Kelce says his “strong” relationship with Taylor Swift allows him to stay focused on his career in the NFL.

During a Jan. 15 appearance on “The Stephen A. Smith Show,” Kelce, 35, talked about his career in the NFL. Host Stephen A. Smith also asked the Kansas City Chiefs tight end if Swift is “encouraging” Kelce to keep playing or to retire.

Kelce, who is currently playing in his 12th season with the Chiefs, answered that he has “all the support” he needs.

“She’s fully encouraging me to enjoy playing this game,” Kelce said. “She loves coming to Arrowhead and coming to the games and cheering for me so I got all the support in the world to keep chasing these dreams.”

Kelce and Swift went public with their relationship in September 2023 and have been together ever since. Swift was in the crowd when Kelce and his team won the 2024 Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers. He also attended a few of her “Eras Tour” concerts and even made an onstage appearance during a show in London.

“Personally, I think that’s the beauty of being in a very strong relationship is that you get that support to be able to come in and focus on your craft,” he said. “Focus on being the best version of you.

“That’s why I wanted to be at the concerts supporting her and being there for her, making sure she feels comfortable and supported in everything she’s doing in life,” he continued. “I think I’m as focused as I’ve ever been on my job and being the best player that I can possibly be week in and week out for this team, and it’s because I don’t have to worry about things off the field.”

In regards to when he may retire, Kelce said his mindset on it “changes every single day.” He said he’s excited to finish out the season.

“I’ll re-evaluate it like I always do, and I’ll probably tell myself how much I love this thing, and I’ll come back next year,” he said. “It’s just something that you have to keep in perspective. I never want to get to the point where I’m not helping this team win.”

Kelce previously told his brother Jason Kelce, who announced his retirement from the Philadelphia Eagles in March 2024, that he would like to pursue a media career once his NFL days are over.

“I want to broadcast when I’m done playing,” he said on their “New Heights” podcast in June 2024.

Kelce added that he wants to put on the headset and be up in the broadcasting booth reporting on the game.

“I want to be right here and tell them about the game, the old ball coach, ladies and gentlemen,” he said, mimicking a radio announcer. “I want to do that. I want to be the talking head that calls the games.”

Kelce, who has been contemplating his future in the league, was encouraged by Swift’s words of support. He expressed gratitude for her perspective and vowed to continue playing as long as he is able to perform at a high level.

Fans of both Kelce and Swift were thrilled to hear about their unlikely collaboration and are now eagerly anticipating Kelce’s next move on the football field. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story!

  • Initial thoughts: Auburn – Mizzou Today: Missouri Tigers Football & Basketball Recruiting

Initial thoughts: Auburn – Mizzou Today: Missouri Tigers Football & Basketball Recruiting

Fix today. Protect forever. Secure your devices with the #1 malware removal and protection software

Here is what was on my mind right as the final whistle sounded and Missouri’s conference losing streak extended to 20.

    1. Mizzou isn’t one of the best teams in the country. We knew that coming in. Auburn is one of the best teams in the country. We knew that coming in.

What we saw today was a pretty good representation of the difference in talent level between the teams.

Outside of 3-point shooting and 3-point defense, I can’t really point to anything Mizzou did overly poorly, Auburn was just able to take advantage of any little space, any turnover, any misstep on defensive switches.

That’s what the best teams in the country do.

    2. The biggest issue today was Auburn did a fantastic job shutting down Mizzou’s best players.

Ant Robinson ended with zero points on 0-of-2 shooting with two rebounds and two assists.

Mark Mitchell had six points and was 2-of-9 shooting with some bad looks taken. He ended with one rebound.

Tamar Bates had eight points on 3-of-9 shooting, including 0-of-4 from 3.

Josh Gray played 9 minutes and had three points and two rebounds.

If those guys aren’t producing, Mizzou is going to be in trouble whether its playing arguably the best team in the country or not.

    3. Missouri is going to lose games in conference play and some of them are going to look bad. We knew that coming in. Some crazy stuff is going to have to happen for Mizzou to beat Auburn/Tennessee/Alabama this season.

Those teams are just really, really good.

    4. The final main lineup of Marques Warrick, T.O. Barrett, Annor Boateng, Marcus Allen, Jacob Crews played really well.

I think Dennis Gates was trying to send a message to the other guys that the depth can play and there’s no guarantee that just because you’ve been one of the best guys so far doesn’t mean you’ll continue to get a significant amount of minutes.

Who knows if the message landed, but after a few minutes, it just became clear that lineup was working, so he left it in the rest of the game.

    5. Winning any road games in the SEC is going to be incredibly tough this season, starting the conference schedule with one at Auburn was about as tough as it’s going to get.

After closely following the latest news and developments in Auburn and Missouri’s football and basketball recruiting efforts, I can’t help but feel excited about the potential impact these recruits could have on their respective programs.

Auburn, known for its strong football tradition, has been making waves in the recruiting world with several highly touted prospects committing to the Tigers. Head coach Bryan Harsin has been hard at work assembling a talented roster that could potentially compete for championships in the near future.

On the other hand, Missouri, under the leadership of head coach Eli Drinkwitz, has been making significant strides in both football and basketball recruiting. The Tigers have landed some top recruits that could bolster their roster and help them compete at a higher level in the SEC.

Overall, both Auburn and Missouri seem to be on the right track when it comes to recruiting, and I can’t wait to see how these talented prospects will contribute to their respective teams in the coming seasons. It’s an exciting time to be a fan of both programs, and the future looks bright for both the Tigers and the Tigers.

BYU basketball is set to take on No. 14 Houston in the Fertitta Center on Saturday.

The matchup is a barometer for Kevin Young’s 10-2 BYU squad. They face a Houston program that has become a second-weekend fixture in college hoops, reaching the Sweet 16 or farther in the last five NCAA Tournaments.

The Coogs in “Clutch City” have been dominant on their home floor. BYU will look to end a nation’s best 29-game home winning streak for Houston.

Head Coach Kelvin Sampson has led Houston through their climb back among the nation’s elite since 2014. Last year, he led the Coogs to a regular season Big 12 championship with a 13-3 record.

Kelvin Sampson weighs in on BYU Basketball

In preparation for Saturday’s game against BYU, Sampson spoke to the media and shared his thoughts on Kevin Young’s team.

“Their length in the backcourt, I think, is excellent with (Egor) Demin and the (Kanon) Catchings kid. They’re both around 6-9. They are long and very skilled. They both can get 20 in different ways,” Sampson said. “Catchings is a threat behind the three-point line. Demin, as a decision-maker, is really good at hitting rollers and really good at hitting the opposite corner. They’re extremely well-coached and very disciplined.

“I think part of their strength is they have two fives: (Fousseyni) Traore and (Keba) Keita. They have different strengths. Keita is probably a better shot blocker, probably a better vertical athlete. Traore is more of a traditional low-post player, who can catch and score it. But they complement each other so well. Then, BYU is the number one defensive rebounding team, so it’s hard to get offensive rebounds against them.”

BYU is outrebounding opponents by 13.2 boards per game. In the Big 12 opening win at home against Arizona State, BYU outrebounded the Sun Devils 38-28.

Along with praising BYU’s new personnel, Sampson is impressed with the returning talent on BYU’s roster.

    Returning talent on BYU

BYU faced Houston early last season in Big 12 play at the Marriott Center. With 2:20 left in the game, the Cougars in blue were tied with Houston at 68, but Sampson’s Coogs closed on a 7-0 run to win 75-68 and earn their first road win in Big 12 action.

Four BYU players from that game last season will be in action against the veteran Houston squad that brings back four of its five starters from last year’s meeting.

“They have a lot of kids on their team that can get 20 to 30 on any given night. Their fives are positioned really well for their team. They’ve got two pros on their team in Catchings and Demin, but (Dallin) Hall, it’s Hall and (Richie) Saunders and (Trevin) Knell. All of those guys can really shoot. They’re dangerous,” said Sampson.

“This is a team that went on the road last year and won some big games. And they lost some games where they dominated for 25, 30, 35 minutes, and lost at the end–great win at Kansas. They’ve got a lot of those same guys back. And they’ve added some really good talent. So BYU is good. I think that’s their baseline. I think they’ve got a chance to be really good as the season goes along.”
