  • WWE Trademark Filing Hints At New Show – TJR Wrestling

A new WWE show could be coming very soon after a new trademark was filed.

It was reported in early 2025 that the WWE Level Up show that was taped before NXT tapings would no longer exist. In its place is a new version of the Evolve promotion. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter revealed that former ROH and Evolve booker Gabe Sapolsky, who now works for WWE, will be heavily involved.

“Level Up is being replaced by something called NXT Evolve although not at the start of the year. We’ve heard to expect it in a few months. It’s a Gabe Sapolsky project and essentially would be people in developmental but not on NXT television regularly, like Level Up.

I think that instead of just matches, to do angles and promos and book it more like a television show. It will be shows taped only for television/streaming.”

The “Evolve” name looks to be involved because a trademark filing was made by WWE on January 30th. The trademark description reads like this:

Entertainment services, a show about sports, entertainment and general interest; entertainment services, namely, the production and exhibition of professional wrestling events rendered live and through broadcast media; entertainment services, namely on-going reality based programs; providing entertainment and sports news and information via a global computer network or commercial online service; entertainment services, namely, provision of information and news about sports, entertainment and general interest; providing a website in the field of sports, entertainment and general interest; production of multimedia programs; providing online photos and videos featuring sports and entertainment

There is no date announced for when Evolve or NXT Evolve will debut, but it will likely be in the months ahead.

New WWE Shows Set To Debut On A&E In February

There is already a lot of WWE content out there with Raw, SmackDown, and NXT providing live action every week, but there are also going to be shows on A&E starting on February 16th. The WWE LFG show will debut on February 16th with some all-time great superstars involved.

“Beginning Sunday, February 16th at 8pm ET, “WWE LFG”, an action-packed, competitive series, redefines what it takes to make it in WWE. Each week, sixteen WWE hopefuls push their limits to earn the ultimate prize: a coveted spot on NXT, WWE’s developmental series featuring the brightest rising stars in professional wrestling.

For the first time ever, viewers get an inside look at the grueling training process including intense in-ring matches and behind-the-scenes footage. The participants receive world-class coaching from iconic WWE Legends such as Undertaker, Booker T, Mickie James, and Bubba Ray Dudley. In addition to the legendary coaches, a pair of WWE Hall of Famers – Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE’s Chief Content Officer, and Shawn Michaels, WWE’s Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative – help guide the competitors as they earn points for their electrifying performances.”

In addition to WWE LFG, there will also be WWE Rivals and WWE Greatest Moments airing on A&E as well.

  • WWE Legend Tips Logan Paul To Become World Champion – TJR Wrestling

Logan Paul has some very illustrious WWE fans.

Logan Paul was a controversial and divisive figure long before he stepped inside a WWE ring and his career inside the squared circle has done little to change that.

Despite his antics rubbing many fans the wrong way, he’s consistently earned praise for his impressive feats in the ring. So naturally, whenever he shows up, all eyes are on the star wondering what might come next.

When Paul made his latest return to Raw on January 27th, he announced that the next challenge would be the Royal Rumble on February 1st. So that raises the question, could he really go on and become World Champion?

According to one former WWE Champion, the answer is a resounding yes.

Kurt Angle Respects “Talented” Logan Paul

During an interview with GreatOffshoreSportsbooks, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle said he could see Paul going on to become World Champion. Angle noted that the YouTube star has been able to pick up pro wrestling quicker than anyone in history, including himself, who is often cited as the benchmark.

“Yes. Yeah, That kid is incredibly talented. I’m a big fan of his. I’ll be honest with you. When he was a boxer, I hated his guts. But I get it now. I know what he was doing. He wanted me to hate him. But I love this kid. This kid is so talented. He has picked up on the business quicker than anybody in the history of the business, including myself.

I have a lot of respect for that kid. It’s amazing how he’s been able to pick up on everything that he’s accomplished, you know as a fighter, as a boxer, as a pro wrestler, as a businessman, this guy is nothing but gold and I have a lot of respect for him and I’m a big fan.”

Paul has actually challenged for World Championship gold before, having faced Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel 2022.

Meanwhile, Conor McGregor has claimed UFC blocked his fight with Logan Paul. The pair had agreed to face each other in a boxing exhibition in India, but according to McGregor, UFC had no interest in getting behind the project.

Logan Paul may be best known for his YouTube antics and controversial behavior, but according to WWE legend Triple H, he has the potential to become a world champion in the world of professional wrestling.

In a recent interview with TJR Wrestling, Triple H praised Paul’s athleticism and dedication to his craft, stating that he believes the social media star has what it takes to succeed in the squared circle.

“Logan Paul is a natural athlete and he has a real passion for the wrestling business,” Triple H said. “I think with the right training and dedication, he could definitely make a name for himself in WWE and even become a world champion someday.”

While Paul has already made a few appearances in WWE, including a match at WrestleMania 37, Triple H believes that he has only scratched the surface of his potential in the company.

“Logan has a lot to learn, but he has a great work ethic and a willingness to improve,” Triple H added. “I have no doubt that if he continues to put in the work, he could one day hold the WWE Championship or Universal Championship.”

Only time will tell if Logan Paul will follow in the footsteps of other celebrities turned wrestlers like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and John Cena, but with the endorsement of a WWE legend like Triple H, the future looks bright for the controversial social media star.

  • WWE’s Tiffany Stratton Reacts To Being Compared To Popular Singer – TJR Wrestling

Tiffany Stratton has no problem being compared to one of the most popular singers in the world.

The year 2025 has been a big one for Tiffany Stratton since she became the WWE Women’s Champion on the January 3rd episode of SmackDown.

After Stratton beat her former ally Nia Jax to become the new champion, Stratton told the world that she wasn’t some dumb blonde. Instead, Stratton revealed that she used Jax to gain her trust and when the opportunity came, Stratton cashed in Money in the Bank on Jax to become the WWE Women’s Champion for the first time in her WWE career that started just three years earlier.

As a young woman who is 25 years old, Stratton is very popular with WWE fans who love shouting “Tiffy Time” at shows. Stratton also reminds some people of popular singer Sabrina Carpenter, who has hits like “Please, Please, Please” and “Espresso.”

When Stratton was asked by Denise Salcedo about comparisons to Carpenter, Stratton embraced it and said that Carpenter inspired her.

“I love it. She’s my inspo. She’s my inspiration. I will come out and say that. I think she’s so cute and I wish I could sing. Maybe one day she’ll come sing my entrance music.”

When Denise suggested that maybe Sabrina will watch Tiffany in WWE like Vanessa Hudgens recently, Stratton said: “I really hope that happens.”

Tiffany Stratton Could Face Tough WWE Opponent At WrestleMania

Since Tiffany Stratton is holding the WWE Women’s Championship, she has a target on her back going into WrestleMania 41 season. It’s a possibility that the Women’s Royal Rumble winner may choose to face Stratton at WrestleMania. If not then Stratton will likely have to deal with the Women’s Elimination Chamber match winner.

A rumored match for WrestleMania 41 could see Tiffany Stratton defending the WWE Women’s Title against 14-time Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, who is returning after more than a year out of action at the Royal Rumble. Stratton has said in past interviews that she was inspired to join WWE after watching Charlotte matches.

While Stratton could have to deal with Charlotte Flair in the future, she also has to deal with her former friend Nia Jax, who brutally attacked Stratton on the last SmackDown before the Royal Rumble.

WWE’s newest recruit, Tiffany Stratton, has been making waves in the wrestling world with her incredible talent and charisma. However, fans have been quick to draw comparisons between the rising star and popular singer, Taylor Swift.

In a recent interview with TJR Wrestling, Tiffany Stratton opened up about being compared to the Grammy-winning artist. “It’s definitely flattering to be compared to someone as successful and talented as Taylor Swift,” she said. “But at the end of the day, I’m here to make a name for myself in the wrestling world and show what I’m capable of in the ring.”

Despite the comparisons, Tiffany remains focused on her wrestling career and proving herself as a force to be reckoned with in the WWE. With her determination and drive, it’s clear that she has a bright future ahead of her in the world of professional wrestling.

Fans can catch Tiffany Stratton in action on WWE programming, where she continues to showcase her skills and leave a lasting impression on audiences around the world. Stay tuned for more exciting updates from this rising star in the world of professional wrestling.

  • CM Punk Blasts Seth Rollins For “Ignorant And Stupid” WWE Outfits – TJR Wrestling

CM Punk isn’t a fan of what Seth “Freakin” Rollins likes to wear on WWE television.

The main event of WWE Monday Night Raw’s first episode of Netflix saw former World Champions CM Punk and Seth “Freakin” Rollins face off in a highly anticipated main event.

In the weeks leading up to the match, Punk and Rollins took personal shots at each other. While Rollins trashed Punk often for quitting WWE in 2014 and trashing the company after, Punk liked to mock Rollins for his theme song (Punk thinks it’s annoying) as well as Seth’s wardrobe choices on WWE television.

For the past few years, Rollins went from dressing flashy to wearing some ridiculous, over-the-top outfits that make people wonder: “What is that guy wearing?” One outfit in particular that got a lot of attention saw Rollins wearing some giant red boots looking like they came from a video game or perhaps a clown in a circus.

seth rollins wwe raw red boots

In an interview that saw him go Sneaker Shopping with Complex, CM Punk didn’t hold back when Seth’s big red boots were mentioned.

“Completely ignorant and stupid. I don’t know why anyone, outside of being in a movie or a television show, would wear those in real life. I’m not trying to gatekeep shoes or anything like that. It seems a little too ‘notice me’ for me.”

CM Punk Considered A Favorite In Men’s Royal Rumble Match

After his big win over Seth Rollins on Raw, CM Punk declared that he would be taking part in the Men’s Royal Rumble match on February 1st in Indianapolis.

“46 [Punk’s age] is just a number. 1 through 30, just numbers. Royal Rumble, you’re next on the list. Gunther, I’m coming for you. Cody, I’m coming for you. I’m Mr. October. I’m Game 7. I am clutch. I am the best in the world.”

A lot of other big names will be in the Royal Rumble including John Cena, Roman Reigns, Seth “Freakin” Rollins, Drew McIntyre, Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Rey Mysterio. Many of those men have won Royal Rumbles in the past and have World Titles on their resume as well, so it won’t be easy for Punk or any of them to win this year’s Royal Rumble match.

You can watch the WWE Royal Rumble when it streams live on Saturday, February 1, at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT, exclusively on Peacock in the United States and Netflix internationally.

In a recent interview, CM Punk didn’t hold back his criticism of Seth Rollins’ WWE outfits, calling them “ignorant and stupid.” Punk, who is known for his own unique style in the ring, took issue with Rollins’ choice of attire, stating that it doesn’t reflect his personality or character.

Punk went on to explain that Rollins’ outfits seem to be more about trying to stand out and get attention, rather than truly expressing who he is as a wrestler. He urged Rollins to take a step back and reconsider his wardrobe choices, suggesting that he should be more authentic and true to himself.

This isn’t the first time Punk has spoken out about WWE superstars and their fashion choices, but his comments about Rollins have certainly sparked a debate among fans. While some agree with Punk’s assessment, others argue that Rollins’ outfits are a part of his persona and help him connect with the audience.

Regardless of where you stand on the issue, it’s clear that Punk’s critique has struck a chord with many in the wrestling community. As Rollins continues to evolve his character and style, it will be interesting to see if he takes Punk’s advice to heart and makes changes to his wardrobe in the future.

  • Why Liv Morgan Is Set For Major WWE WrestleMania Push – TJR Wrestling

Liv Morgan could be on the verge of a huge push ahead of WWE WrestleMania but it could mark a big change for the former Women’s World Champion.

Liv Morgan lost the Women’s World Championship to Rhea Ripley on Raw’s Netflix debut. That brought a 226-day title reign to an end that dated back to when Morgan dethroned Becky Lynch for the title in Saudi Arabia in May 2024.

Rhea Ripley successfully defended her title against Nia Jax at Saturday Night’s Main Event. With the Royal Rumble just around the corner, it seems Morgan could be in line for another big push but it doesn’t seem she’ll be going after Ripley’s gold once again.

Liv Morgan Going After Tag Team Gold?

PWInsider has reported that Morgan could be set for a push alongside her bodyguard Raquel Rodriguez as a tag team:

There’s been a lot of talk about Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez getting a big push as a tag team leading into Wrestlemania.

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez are former two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. Bianca Belair and Naomi could need new challengers for that title heading into WrestleMania unless one of them wins the women’s Royal Rumble. With the suggestion that Morgan and Rodriguez will be a team, it seems unlikely that either one of them will win the Rumble match and book a singles world title match at WrestleMania 41.

Liv Morgan has been a standout talent in WWE for years, but it seems like the company is finally ready to give her the spotlight she deserves. With WrestleMania just around the corner, it looks like Liv Morgan is set for a major push that could see her become a top star in the company.

One of the reasons why Liv Morgan is primed for a WrestleMania push is her undeniable talent in the ring. Morgan has proven time and time again that she is a skilled performer, with a unique blend of athleticism and charisma that sets her apart from the rest of the roster. Her recent matches have been some of the best of her career, showcasing her ability to tell a story and connect with the audience in a way that few others can.

Another reason why Liv Morgan is poised for a WrestleMania push is her undeniable popularity with the WWE Universe. Fans have been rallying behind Morgan for years, cheering her on every step of the way. With her recent push and increased exposure on WWE programming, it’s clear that the company sees the potential in Morgan to become a fan favorite and a top star in the women’s division.

With all signs pointing towards a major push for Liv Morgan at WrestleMania, it’s only a matter of time before she takes her place among the top stars in WWE. Whether she’s competing for a championship or in a high-profile match, Morgan is sure to deliver a standout performance that will solidify her status as one of the best in the business.

In conclusion, Liv Morgan is set for a major WWE WrestleMania push, and it’s a well-deserved opportunity for a talented and hard-working performer. With her skills in the ring, her popularity with the fans, and the company’s support behind her, there’s no doubt that Liv Morgan is on the path to becoming a top star in WWE. Stay tuned to see what she accomplishes at WrestleMania and beyond.

  • WWE Star To Miss Monday Night Raw – TJR Wrestling

A big name in WWE will miss Monday Night Raw due to another commitment on the same night.

The WWE Monday Night Raw debut on Netflix in Los Angeles was one of the biggest nights for the company featuring big names like The Rock, John Cena, and CM Punk beating Seth Rollins in the main event.

That episode of Raw also featured the return of the new commentary team consisting of Michael Cole and Pat McAfee. That duo has been together on SmackDown in the past and also on Raw. It’s expected to be the main Raw commentary team moving forward.

While Cole and McAfee will be together long-term, McAfee is expected to miss Raw on January 20th in Dallas. That’s because McAfee has ESPN duties for the College Football Playoff National Championship game.

A press release from ESPN confirmed that McAfee will be at the college football finals instead of Raw.

Returning in 2025, the fan favorite Field Pass will lead the MegaCast offerings from this year’s National Championship on ESPN2. Field Pass with The Pat McAfee Show will offer entertaining, free-flowing commentary of the CFP National Championship Game, anchored by Pat McAfee, who will roam the sidelines of Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

McAfee will call the action from the unique vantage point, joined by AJ Hawk, Darius Butler, Connor Campbell, Ty Schmit and Tone Digs, as well as a rotation of ESPN analysts, notable personalities, and celebrities throughout the game.

Field Pass with The Pat McAfee Show delivered the largest audience for any ESPN alternate telecast on record with 2.4 million viewers from the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Rose Bowl Game Presented by Prudential.

Corey Graves References Pat McAfee’s Fame In Rant Against WWE Commentary

From September to December 2024, McAfee was off WWE commentary due to his college football duties on ESPN on Saturdays. While McAfee was gone, Cole was on SmackDown with Corey Graves while Joe Tessitore was on Raw with Wade Barrett. Since Cole and McAfee are now on Raw, Tessitore and Barrett are on SmackDown to start 2025.

In a now-deleted rant on Twitter/X, Corey Graves took a shot at WWE’s decision to remove him from SmackDown commentary while claiming he wasn’t famous enough compared to McAfee and Tessitore, who has been calling sports on ESPN for decades.

Imagine chasing your dream. Then being TOLD (not deciding) that you’re no longer physically able to pursue your dream. Then you dedicate your life to something “dream adjacent” and being pretty f*cking awesome at it.

And then, when it’s time to enjoy the fruits of your labor, being told you’re not famous enough for your own job. Just in case you’ve wondered where I’ve been.

The comments from Graves were his true feelings and not a storyline, but in WWE, it could certainly turn into a storyline in the future.

It has yet to be announced who will replace McAfee on the January 20th episode of Raw. It has been rumored that it could be WWE Hall of Famer John “Bradshaw” Layfield, who has been an announcer in the past and is advertised for that episode of Raw in Dallas.

Breaking News: WWE Star To Miss Monday Night Raw

    Ric Flair can’t walk away.

In an event run under the famous Jim Crockett Promotions banner on July 31st, 2022, Ric Flair wrestled what he said would be his last match. During the bout where he tagged with Andrade El Idolo against Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett, Flair struggled badly, and later admitted he passed out twice.

However, Ric Flair has since given mixed messages on his wrestling future, seemingly teasing a comeback before distancing himself from the suggestion.

This speculation only increased when he began working with AEW in late 2023 before appearing at Revolution in March 2024 as part of Sting’s retirement match. At the time, there were claims Flair wanted to do more physicality, but his pitches were blocked by management.

During an appearance on the Five Star Podcast, Flair confirmed Tony Khan had kept him out of the ring while working in AEW due to fears about his health.

“Once Tony (Khan) found out I was on blood thinners, he wouldn’t let me get in the ring,”

When it was suggested that Flair had one more match in him, the WWE Hall of Famer enthusiastically agreed.

    “Hell yeah, I do.”

Ric Flair Tips AEW Star To Make WWE Return

During a different interview, Ric Flair predicted that Mercedes Mone would return to WWE before her career ended. The veteran made the claim while discussing Charlotte Flair’s biggest rivals, adding that his daughter and Mone had better chemistry than anyone in history.

Charlotte Flair has been out of action since December 2023 when she suffered a major knee injury, however, she’s expected back very soon.

Ahead of making her AEW debut, Mercedes Mone admitted she will return to WWE one day. She followed that up with another admission in August, confirming she wanted to rejoin the company in 2023.

Potential WWE Debut Date For Former TNA Champion – TJR Wrestling

One of the biggest stars in TNA Wrestling could be heading to WWE in time for a major show.

Jordynne Grace appeared in a WWE match for the first time in the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble when she was the TNA Knockouts Champion. She was the second Knockouts Champion to appear in a Royal Rumble match since the legendary Mickie James did it three years earlier.

As the year went on, Grace made several more WWE appearances including an NXT Women’s Title match against Roxanne Perez.

The last time Grace appeared on WWE NXT TV was on November 6th when she teamed up with Giulia, Kelani Jordan, Stephanie Vaquer & Zaria to defeat Roxanne Perez, Cora Jade, and Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne & Jazmyn Nyx) in a 10-woman tag team match that main evented that show in Philadelphia.
