Jazz vs Clippers Prediction, Picks & Odds for Tonight’s NBA Game
With the Los Angeles Clippers defense not looking stellar as of late, the Utah Jazz hope to muster up some energy in a back-to-back through the life of standout rookie Isaiah Collier to get back on track after a heartbreaking overtime loss to the Phoenix Suns.
Photo By – Imagn Images. Utah Jazz guard Isaiah Collier (13) celebrates.
The Utah Jazz lost a heartbreaker in overtime to the Phoenix Suns on Friday night, and now this shorthanded team will have to turn around and face the Los Angeles Clippers just 24 hours later.
While they may come into this one with tired legs, I’ll explain in my Jazz vs. Clippers predictions why the Jazz are to be believed on the offensive end and should maintain a high level against a slumping Los Angeles defense.
Let’s dig into some NBA player props and hand out some NBA picks on Saturday, February 8.
Jazz vs Clippers prediction
My best bet
Jazz +16.5 (-110 at bet365)My analysis
Utah Jazz’s defense continues to look suspect, but their offense has turned into a fine-tuned machine with rookie Isaiah Collier beginning to blossom in a larger role. He’s now scored 15 or more in back-to-back games, adding 10 assists in each of his last three, as the team deals with injuries to both Jordan Clarkson and Collin Sexton in the backcourt. We’re not yet sure if we’ll see Clarkson in this one, but as Sexton continues to sit Collier’s impact should remain sizable. His ability to get the ball in low has worked wonders for a team which has ranked inside the top 11 in scoring at the rim and the short mid-range over the last two weeks, and as the Los Angeles Clippers counter with the sixth-worst rim defense over that span there’s a fair chance this team continues to score the ball even on no rest.
On the flip side, Utah’s weak interior defense shouldn’t be a massive liability here against a Clippers team which is just 15th in shooting accuracy at the rim and 23rd in the short mid-range in the last two weeks. Its top-10 3-point defense over that same span should remain strong with Clarkson – a defensive liability – sitting this one out, and the Clippers’ middling performance outside should only help matters.
Los Angeles does like to shoot inside, but it has struggled to get much done as of late, and with Walker Kessler now playing more minutes at center in wake of injuries to the frontcourt and the trade of Drew Eubanks, there’s a reasonable expectation that this defense can hold firm enough to allow this offense to continue cooking.
Jazz vs Clippers same-game parlay
We’ll kick things off with Isaiah Collier, who has seen a huge bump in Usage Rate lately and should devastate both as a scorer and distributor. Los Angeles has been weak defensively at the rim, and Collier has ranked right around the top 20% of all guards in shooting frequency in close. As he looks to feed this long frontcourt, too, he should once again flirt with a double-double against a Clippers team ranked just outside the top 10 in assists allowed per 100 possessions in the last two weeks.
Speaking of which, Norman Powell has been a machine over that span. He’s averaged 25.3 points in six games, and most notably has taken a whopping 17 shots per contest. The veteran is sitting pretty here as a guard who has taken – and made – a good deal of shots at the rim and in the short-mid range, going up against a frontcourt defense which has been brutal of late by the numbers and is still very thin without several players.

Raptors vs Clippers Prediction, Picks & Odds for Tonight’s NBA Game
Our Raptors vs. Clippers predictions expect a big game from Scottie Barnes against L.A.’s big men.
With their form on an upward curve, the Toronto Raptors tip off their February schedule against the Los Angeles Clippers this afternoon at Scotiabank Arena.
That means a reunion with their NBA championship hero Kawhi Leonard, but my Clippers vs. Raptors predictions focus on Toronto’s current superstar talent and his strong recent play.
Check out my top NBA picks and storylines for this February 2 matinee.
Raptors vs Clippers prediction
My Raptors pick
Scottie Barnes Over 7.5 rebounds (-125 at PointsBet Canada)My analysis
Scottie Barnes was the engine for the Toronto Raptors’ impressive end to January, as they strung together five straight wins before Friday’s loss to the Bulls. Today’s matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers is going to come down to the athleticism of Barnes and R.J. Barrett against the wily experience of James Harden and Kawhi Leonard. All of the Scottie Barnes odds have value, but I’m targeting his rebounds prop. He’s averaging 8.1 rebounds per game this season, and he’s been especially active in his past seven outings, with almost nine boards a game over that span, including a 10-rebound effort against the Bulls. Consistency is the key for Barnes to take the next step, and the Raptors have to be thrilled with the recent signs.
Toronto lost the rebounding battle against Chicago, but I’m predicting a response today, particularly with the Clippers adjusting to an early East Coast start. Though Ivica Zubac and Derrick Jones Jr. will test the hosts’ discipline, I see Barnes answering the call alongside Jakob Poeltl.
Darko Rajakovic went with smaller lineups on Friday, with Chris Boucher and Kelly Olynyk not logging any minutes, and it could be the same story here to combat a wing-heavy L.A. team. Again, that puts the onus on Barnes to do the dirty work and clean the glass.
The Raptors’ franchise cornerstone has drawn praise lately for his locked-in defensive work, and there’s no reason why he can’t continue to be a nightly threat for double-digit boards.
Raptors vs Clippers same-game parlay
The city of L.A. is still digesting the blockbuster Luka Doncic trade, but the Clippers have looked comfortable padding their win total in the shadows all year. They’re 7-3 SU and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games, and their 29-18-1 ATS mark this season speaks for itself.
The Clippers have a higher ceiling with Leonard back in action, and they’ve also won the last five meetings between these teams. The visitors eased to victory in the prior two games of this road trip, and I’m laying the points with the spread at a manageable 4.5, even with key scorer Norm Powell listed as questionable.
I’m also leaning into Harden’s ability to fill the box score. At slight plus-money odds, the Over 9.5 assists is an attractive play, and The Beard is coming off a fruitful January where he averaged 10 apg.
Harden has dished 10+ dimes in six of his last seven contests. Though he was held to seven assists in his last outing against Toronto, he’s going to have ample opportunities to find open shooters here — and Kawhi’s mere presence gives Harden more room to operate.

Raptors vs Clippers spread and Over/Under analysis
- The Clippers get the favorites tag despite a slight sub. 500 road mark this season, but they’ve won on four of their last five visits to Toronto.
- The Under is 7-3 in the past 10 meetings between these teams, and it’s 29-19 for L.A. overall this year.
- The Raptors enter on the heels of four straight Unders, but the Over has been a winning ticket in three of the Clippers’ past four games.
- The defenses were on top in the teams’ November matchup, which ended in a 105-103 Clippers victory.

With two strong goaltenders manning the nets, goals will be at a premium in Dallas tonight.
Photo By – Imagn Images. Vancouver Canucks goaltender Thatcher Demko (35) blocks the deflection from Nashville Predators left wing Filip Forsberg.
The Vancouver Canucks take a three-game winning streak to the American Airlines Center to take on the Dallas Stars in a Western Conference clash Friday, January 31.
With Vancouver showing off defensively on the highway and Dallas a stingy team on home ice, my Canucks vs. Stars predictions and NHL picks call for a low-scoring game tonight.
Canucks vs Stars prediction
My Canucks pick
Under 5.5 (-107 at Pinnacle)My Canucks analysis
The Vancouver Canucks have traveled well this season with a 14-7-4 record while allowing the seventh-fewest goals per game (2.72) and second-fewest expected goals per 60 minutes at 5-on-5 (2.23) on the highway. It’s a similar story for the Dallas Stars at the American Airlines Center, with their 18-7-1 record fueled by allowing the third-fewest goals per home game (2.23).
Canucks No. 1 goalie Thatcher Demko also turned away 31 of 32 shots during Vancouver’s 3-1 road win over the Nashville Predators on Wednesday. His .877 SV% and 3.27 GAA both have screaming statistical correction ahead, too. Demko posted high-end .918 and 2.45 marks last season, after all.
Additionally, a big reason Dallas has been so stingy on home ice has been its No. 1 goalie, Jake Oettinger. He’s posted a .917 SV% and 2.12 GAA across his 23 home starts. I also value Dallas’ eighth-ranked 52.4 Corsi For percentage at 5-on-5 at the American Airlines Center.
Simply put, goals are going to be hard to come by for both clubs tonight.
Finally, I also value the long-standing trend of the Stars playing to the Under in 63 of their past 102 games (+27.55 Units / 24% ROI), including a total record of 15-29-6 this season.
Canucks vs Stars odds analysis
The Canucks opened as a +162 underdog at Pinnacle, and the line nearly immediately moved to +151. Vancouver has won 26 of its past 47 road games (+5.60 Units / 9% ROI), and Dallas is missing a number of key contributors, so there’s potential for continued Canucks action coming in ahead of puck drop.
I obviously like the Under 5.5 in this matchup. There hasn’t been early movement to the total at Pinnacle after opening with an even -107 vig on both sides of the number. I’ll be surprised if the Under -107 doesn’t provide closing line value.

The Vancouver Canucks will be facing off against the Dallas Stars tonight in what is sure to be an exciting NHL matchup. Both teams are coming off of strong performances in their previous games, making this game a must-watch for hockey fans. The Canucks have been playing well as of late, with key players like Elias Pettersson and Brock Boeser leading the way. Their offense has been firing on all cylinders, and their defense has been solid as well. They will be looking to continue their winning streak tonight against the Stars.
On the other hand, the Stars have also been playing well recently, with players like Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin stepping up their game. Their goaltending has been strong, and their defense has been tough to crack. They will be looking to secure a win at home tonight against the Canucks.
In terms of predictions, this game could go either way. Both teams are evenly matched and have been playing well recently. It will likely come down to which team can capitalize on their scoring chances and make the most of their power plays.
As for picks, it’s always a safe bet to go with the home team in a close matchup like this. The Stars have the advantage of playing in front of their home crowd, which could give them the edge they need to come out on top.
In terms of odds, the Stars are currently favored to win this game, but the Canucks are not far behind. It should be a close and competitive game, so be sure to tune in tonight to see who comes out on top in this Canucks vs Stars showdown.

Celtics vs Pelicans Prediction, Picks & Odds for Tonight’s NBA Game
The Boston Celtics are ready to put a shaky January behind them as they end the month against the New Orleans Pelicans to set a better tone for the remainder of the season. With Jaylen Brown being the point of focus in his recent resurgence, count on him to help them get their edge back.
Photo By – Imagn Images. Boston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown (7) celebrates during the second half.
Whether it’s boredom or fatigue or just a dip in form, the Boston Celtics have lost a little of their edge, but they can finish an erratic January on a high note tonight against Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans.
Though Boston is 5-4 in its last nine games, my Celtics vs. Pelicans predictions expect the visitors to show up here, led by two of their key difference-makers.
My NBA picks cast an eye over the top betting angles for this January 31 battle.
Celtics vs Pelicans prediction
My best bet
Jaylen Brown Over 21.5 points (-115 at bet365)My analysis
Even after being named Eastern Conference Finals MVP and Finals MVP last season, Jaylen Brown can get a little lost in the shuffle when it comes to the NBA’s top-tier talent. But he’s been on a tear lately, and the Boston Celtics will be looking for a repeat performance tonight.Brown, named an All-Star reserve this week, arrives in New Orleans on the heels of back-to-back 28-point games this week, including 10-for-18 shooting against the Houston Rockets on Monday, and he’s gone past this 21.5 O/U number in four of his past five contests.
It’s all the more impressive given Brown’s slump from downtown. He’s shot 27% from 3-point range this month, but he’s making up for it with his work in the paint. His free-throws are up from December as well, and he got to the line for 11 attempts in midweek against the Chicago Bulls.
He may not run into much resistance here. The New Orleans Pelicans’ defensive issues were glaring in a 137-136 loss to the Luka Doncic-less Dallas Mavericks this week, and Brown should be able to get whatever he wants on that end of the floor. This is the same New Orleans defense that also gave up 139 points to the Memphis Grizzlies last week.
Even with so many mouths to feed in this potent Boston offense, I expect Brown to have ample volume. He’s taken 18 or more shots in each of his last four games, while stepping up to paper over little slumps for Jayson Tatum and Jrue Holiday.
In what should be a high-scoring showdown, the Over on the Brown points prop has real value.
Celtics vs Pelicans same-game parlay
Kristaps Porzingis should be riding high after a monster effort against Chicago last time out. Though his 34-point explosion was flashy, his work on the glass was just as impressive on the way to 11 boards – and I’m targeting his rebounds prop for my SGP.
He’s had eight or more rebounds in seven of his past 11 games, and he ended up with 11 boards in his last outing against New Orleans. With Daniel Theis doubtful, the Pelicans’ frontcourt depth takes a hit, and Porzingis has a path to another double-digit tally.
Despite Boston’s talent edge, a 10.5-point line overlooks New Orleans’ gritty effort at TD Garden earlier this month in a 120-119 loss. With the quartet of Zion Williamson, Dejounte Murray, C.J. McCollum and Trey Murphy III, the hosts have enough firepower to keep this close.
The Celtics have a healthy 17-6 road record, but three of those losses have come in January – and they’re 4-6 ATS in their last 10 contests.

What to know about tonight’s game
It was a light-hearted moment in a game devoid of drama. At nearly that same moment, in the other Atlantic 10 Conference game taking place that night, fans provided the opposite type of atmosphere.
At Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, fans from Saint Louis and Virginia Commonwealth brawled in the stands behind the VCU bench late in the second half. The fight delayed play in a game Saint Louis won 78-69.
The incident was bad enough Saint Louis issued a statement Wednesday that read in part, “Fans are expected to demonstrate respect toward one another, officials, and team personnel. Inappropriate comments or actions directed at officials, student-athletes, coaches or team representatives will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from Chaifetz Arena.”
It’s unlikely there will be a fight in two straight games at Chaifetz, but to have any chance at 7 p.m. Friday when they play at Saint Louis (13-8, 6-2), the Flyers (14-7, 4-4) will have to show more fight than they did Tuesday at St. Bonaventure.
Dayton decided months ago to travel straight from its game at St. Bonaventure to St. Louis. It flew from Buffalo to St. Louis on Wednesday afternoon.
“We’ll try to get them rested and get them mentally recharged,” Dayton coach Anthony Grant said after the game Tuesday. “Hopefully, we’ll be ready to go.”
Here are 10 things to know about the game:
1. Series history: Dayton leads the series 42-30 and has won 17 of the last 21 matchups. The Flyers swept two games from the Billikens last season, winning 70-65 at UD Arena and 100-83 at Chaifetz Arena. Dayton is 10-9 at Saint Louis since the Billikens joined the A-10 in the 2005-06 season.
2. State of the program: Saint Louis fired coach Travis Ford after last season. The Billikens finished 13-20 in his eighth and final season. He led the program to one NCAA tournament appearance during his tenure.
New coach Josh Schertz came to Saint Louis after finishing 66-40 in three seasons at Indiana State. His team was 32-7 in his final season.
3. Season summary: Saint Louis finished 7-6 in non-conference play, losing to its four highest-ranked opponents: San Francisco; Santa Clara; Grand Canyon; and Illinois State.
In A-10 play, Saint Louis is 4-0 at home and 2-2 on the road with victories at Fordham and Richmond and losses at George Washington and Virginia Commonwealth.
4. Standings update: George Mason (16-5, 7-1) won 58-53 at home in overtime against Loyola Chicago on Wednesday to maintain its grip on first place. George Mason has won six games in a row.
VCU (16-5, 6-2) and Saint Louis share second place. Dayton is one of five teams tied for fourth place at 4-4.
5. Dayton’s struggles: The Flyers have their worst record through eight A-10 games since Grant’s first season. They started 4-4 in 2018 and finished 8-10.
6. Transfer portal loss: Saint Louis lost one double-digit scorer to the portal. Bradley Ezewiro, a 6-foot-8 forward, averaged 12.0 points last season as a junior for Saint Louis and is now averaging 7.0 points for UAB.
Explore» RELATED: ‘We’re going to be bold’ — Dayton AD ready for new era of paying athletes directly 7. Top returner: Gibson Jimerson, a 6-5 sixth-year guard, led Saint Louis with 15.8 points per game last season. He leads the team this season (17.6). He scored 26 points against VCU. He is the Billikens’ all-time leader in points (2,195).
8. Top newcomer: Robbie Avila, a 6-10 junior center, led Indiana State in scoring (17.4 points) last season and ranks second (17.6) in his first season at Saint Louis.
• Isaiah Swope, a 5-10 junior guard, ranked third in scoring (15.9) at Indiana State last season and ranks second (16.4) at Saint Louis.
9. Strengths and weaknesses: In A-10 play, Saint Louis has shot 64.9% from 2-point range. That’s the top mark in the conference.
• Saint Louis ranks 14th out of 15 teams in A-10 play in 3-point shooting percentage (30.2). Teams have shot 38.7% from 3-point range against Dayton in A-10 games. That’s the worst mark in the league.
10. Odds & Ends: KenPom.com gives Dayton an 49% chance of winning and predicts a 74-73 score. Dayton climbed from No. 65 to No. 74 in the Pomeroy ratings after losing to St. Bonaventure. Saint Louis is No. 105.
• Dayton ranks 77th in the NCAA Evaluation Tool. It is the third highest-ranked A-10 team behind No. 47 VCU and No. 71 George Mason. No. 106 Saint Louis is the seventh highest-ranked A-10 team.
This is a Quadrant 2 game for Dayton and a Quad 3 game for Saint Louis. Dayton is 2-3 in Quad 1 games, 1-3 in Quad 2, 4-1 in Quad 3 and 6-0 in Quad 4. Saint Louis is 0-2 in Quad 1, 1-4 in Quad 2, 4-1 in Quad 3 and 6-1 in Quad 4.

Mavericks vs Pelicans Prediction, Picks & Odds for Tonight’s NBA Game
Our NBA picks expect a road win for the Mavericks and a big game from Kyrie Irving.
The New Orleans Pelicans will hope that a return home will be enough to snap a three-game losing streak as they host the Dallas Mavericks at the Smoothie King Center on Wednesday night.
Dallas has proven it can beat even some of the league’s top teams despite losing superstar Luca Doncic, and I’m predicting another win for it in my Mavericks vs. Pelicans predictions.
Learn why I like the Mavs tonight and see my full analysis in my free NBA picks for Wednesday, January 29 below.
Mavericks vs Pelicans prediction
My best bet
Mavericks moneyline (-110 at bet365)My analysis
The Dallas Mavericks haven’t lived up to their expectations this season, and that includes the recent run in which they’ve lost six of their last nine games. Obviously, much of the decline in Dallas’ fortunes has been tied to the loss of Luka Doncic (28.1 ppg), who strained his left calf on Christmas and hasn’t played since. The Mavericks are just 6-11 in their 17 games since that injury, but there have been signs that this team can compete at a high level even without Doncic. In the past two weeks, Dallas beat the Thunder twice, dealing a stunning blow to the team with the best record in the NBA.
Kyrie Irving (24.1 ppg) is now the focal point of the offense, but Dallas has a total of seven players who are scoring in double figures, and players like Daniel Gafford (12.4 ppg) and Spencer Dinwiddie (10.3 ppg) have been among those to step up when needed to score points.
The New Orleans Pelicans briefly looked like they were turning their season around when they won five of six games between Jan. 10 and Jan. 20. Since then, however, the Pelicans have lost three games, failing to cover in any of those contests.
The Pelicans have benefitted from having a healthy Zion Williamson in the lineup for the last two games, an increasingly rare situation for New Orleans, but even as Williamson scored 28 and 31 points on Saturday and Monday, respectively, it didn’t spark a turnaround for the Pelicans offense, which averaged only 98 points in those two games.
Meanwhile, New Orleans continues to struggle on defense, which has been a problem for the team all season long. The Pelicans rank 28th in defensive rating (117.5) and are dead last in defensive rebounding percentage. New Orleans is allowing opponents to score 117.7 ppg on the year and has allowed 10 straight opponents to score 110+ points.
With Doncic pacing the Dallas offense, that’s a total the Mavericks should easily surpass against a hapless Pelicans defense. I can’t see New Orleans keeping up with the Mavs in a shootout, so I’m taking Dallas to win outright on the road.
Mavericks vs Pelicans same-game parlay
Even with Doncic out of the lineup tonight, both teams have plenty of scoring potential in this matchup. Dallas has hit the Over in four straight games, while New Orleans has gone Over the total in six of its last nine games overall. With both teams having been playing to totals of 135+ in many of their recent games, I like the Over here.
Taking a scorer here makes sense, as it correlates well with our expectations for a high-scoring game. I’m going with Kyrie Irving, who’s taken on an even bigger role in the Dallas offense with Doncic’s injury. Irving is scoring 24.1 ppg on the year, and we can expect him to outpace that total against a poor New Orleans defense. I think the safest play is on Irving to score 25+ points tonight.

In tonight’s NBA matchup, the Dallas Mavericks will face off against the New Orleans Pelicans. Both teams are coming off of strong performances in their last games, with the Mavericks defeating the Thunder and the Pelicans taking down the Kings. The Mavericks are currently sitting in the 7th spot in the Western Conference, while the Pelicans are in the 11th spot. Both teams will be looking to secure a win tonight to improve their playoff positioning.
In terms of predictions, the Mavericks are favored to win this game with odds of -150. The Pelicans, on the other hand, have odds of +130. This game is expected to be a close one, with both teams having talented rosters and strong offensive capabilities.
As for picks, I believe the Mavericks will come out on top in this matchup. They have been playing well as of late and have a solid team led by Luka Doncic. The Pelicans have been inconsistent this season and may struggle to keep up with the Mavericks’ scoring.
Overall, I predict the Mavericks will win this game by a narrow margin. It should be an exciting matchup between two talented teams vying for a crucial win in the playoff race.

Clippers vs Spurs Prediction, Picks & Odds for Tonight’s NBA Game
With Kawhi Leonard working his way back, the Clippers have maintained their position as a playoff team in the West. We expect them to leave San Antonio with a win tonight.
With Kawhi Leonard ramping up, the Los Angeles Clippers are eyeing another jump in the Western Conference standings, and they get the favorites tag as they visit the San Antonio Spurs tonight.
San Antonio is just back from two games in Paris, and my Clippers vs. Spurs predictions signal déjà vu for the hosts, who’ve lost eight of their last nine matchups against L.A.
Take a closer look at this January 29 battle with my NBA picks and betting angles, including a wager on more magic from The Beard.
Clippers vs Spurs prediction
My best bet
Clippers -4 (-110 at bet365)My analysis
The Los Angeles Clippers have to rank among this season’s NBA surprises — not just surviving without Paul George and, for a long stretch, Kawhi Leonard, but thriving in the cut-throat West.At 26-20, the Clippers have won six of their last nine contests, and they’re 28-17-1 ATS this year. If Kawhi can stay healthy, even on a lower minutes load, there’s a case for L.A. grabbing homecourt advantage for the first round of the playoffs.
I’m buying into that recent form and laying the points with the Clippers tonight against a San Antonio Spurs team that’s 3-7 in their last 10 contests. The Spurs were on the receiving end of a 136-98 blowout against the Pacers in Paris on Sunday, and their defense has fallen off a cliff lately, allowing 128 points or more in four of the past five outings.
Then there’s the after-effects from San Antonio’s hectic week in Europe. Despite the hosts’ 12-10 mark at Frost Bank Center, I’m factoring in a sluggish start as the jet lag wears off.
An L.A. offense powered by Leonard, James Harden, and Norman Powell should really test the Spurs’ wing defenders, and I see all three of those scorers targeting the Chris Paul matchup while steering clear of Victor Wembanyama in the paint.
The Clippers are just 9-12 on their travels this season, but if you zoom out a bit further, they’re 25-18 across their last 43 road games, and they’ve covered the spread in six of their last nine clashes with the Spurs.
Clippers vs Spurs same-game parlay
We’ve seen some vintage Harden moments this season, with The Beard embracing a heavy workload and making contributions all over the box score. Tonight, I’m focusing on his rebounds + assists combo prop, where the line feels too low at 15.5.
Harden has gone past this number in five of his last eight outings, including a 13-assist, 12-rebound night against the Wizards last week, and he’s finished with double-digit dimes in six of his past eight contests. With Ivica Zubac trying to box out Wemby, Harden should walk into some easy boards, too.
I’m rounding out my SGP with a Wembanyama prop. Wemby delivered a 30-point masterpiece against the Pacers in the first of the two Paris games, and he poured in 27 points against the Clippers in late December.
He’s still putting up streaky numbers from beyond the arc, but that hasn’t discouraged him from jacking up 3-pointers, and he’s knocked down at least two triples in every game this month. As San Antonio’s No.1 scoring option, I like his chance of reaching the 25-point mark tonight.

- The Clippers enter as clear road favorites — and the line has crept up after opening at -3.
- San Antonio has lost three in a row at Frost Bank Center and is just 2-7 ATS in its last nine games.
- The Under is 17-29 for the Clippers this season, and it’s hit in seven of the past 10 meetings between these teams.

#Clippers #Spurs #Prediction #Picks #Odds #Tonights #NBA #GameStars vs Golden Knights Prediction, Picks & Odds for Tonight’s NHL Game
After hitting a rough patch, the Vegas Golden Knights find themselves facing the Dallas Stars once again just in a matter of days and with Tomas Hertl on a tear, the stage is set for the home team to earn a win to get back on track.
Photo By – Imagn Images. Vegas Golden Knights center Tomas Hertl (48) was named First Star of the Game.
A pair of Western Conference powerhouses will meet Tuesday for the second time in the span of just a few days.
My Stars vs. Golden Knights predictions see the home team getting revenge, with last year’s marquee deadline acquisition Tomas Hertl making an impact along the way.
Let’s take a closer look with my January 28 NHL picks.
Stars vs Golden Knights prediction
My best bet
Golden Knights moneyline (-121 at Pinnacle)My analysis
The Golden Knights are in a bit of a rut, having won just three of their past 10 games. Encouragingly, their process has looked a lot better than the results. At 5v5 they rank 9th in expected goal share and have posted a differential of more than two goals. That has translated to a 37% share of the actual goals, slotting them 31st in that span.
They have generated 20.57 expected goals yet scored just 14, more than six below expectation. Vegas has also conceded more than four goals above expectation.
It would be one thing to underperform if lacking talent on the roster. That’s obviously not the case with this Golden Knights squad.
They have several stars up front (Jack Eichel, Mark Stone, Tomas Hertl, etc.), a loaded blueline, and a solid starting goaltender in Adin Hill.
Unless all of those players forgot how to play hockey overnight, it’s not reasonable to expect the Golden Knights to continue piling up chances yet having little to show for them.
It’s also a stretch to think Hill, who has saved more than 16 goals above expectation since the beginning of last season, will continue giving them up at a rate higher than he should.
The Golden Knights should get things moving in the right direction sooner rather than later. They started to get the ball rolling with an impressive 4-1 win over Florida last time out.
Given their home success (19-6-1), I think the Golden Knights should be able to build on that win against a Dallas Stars team that has not fared nearly as well on the road this season (13-10-0).
Stars vs Golden Knights same-game parlay (SGP)
Tomas Hertl is red-hot offensively. He has picked up at least one point in nine consecutive games, piling up 13 along the way.
He has looked great skating alongside Pavel Dorofeyev and Victor Olofsson on the second line; as well as playing a pivotal role on an electric top power play unit.
Hertl has hit the scoresheet in four straight games on home soil and in both games against the Stars this season.
The Golden Knights and Stars both rank inside the Top-8 when it comes to limiting goals on a per game basis.
The two sides are missing a few excellent auxiliary pieces in Mason Marchment, Tyler Seguin, and William Karlsson, among others, which takes some of the scoring depth out of the mix.
