Final Destination Bloodlines Trailer Teases Death by Nose Ring
Final Destination is back for more elaborate death traps.
On Monday, Feb. 3, Warner Bros. Pictures debuted the first teaser trailer for Final Destination Bloodlines, showing a tattoo artist inking himself a “Dad” tribute on his arm — before being hung by his nose ring on a ceiling fan and burned.
The franchise, famous for its over-the-top fatal scenarios constructed like chain-reaction Rube Goldberg machines, is making its comeback after the fifth installment arrived in 2011. The first film, released in 2000, starred Devon Sawa, Ali Larter, Seann William Scott and Tony Todd.
A synopsis for Bloodlines says this entry “takes audiences back to the very beginning of Death’s twisted sense of justice.”

“Plagued by a violent recurring nightmare, college student Stefanie heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all,” the logline teases.
The cast includes Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Rya Kihlstedt, Anna Lore, Brec Bassinger and Todd, who died in November 2024 at age 69.
Final Destination Bloodlines is in theaters May 16.

The Final Destination franchise has had some ups and downs, and after several sequels of diminishing returns, it looks like the new movie, Final Destination: Bloodlines
, will be taking things in a new direction – as a prequel movie partly set in the 1960s. The movie, which is the second horror franchise to use the Bloodlines subtitle after 2024’s Pet Sematary prequel, is preparing to release its first trailer, which makes sense considering the film’s planned release date of May 16, 2025.An official synopsis of the new movie (via Feature First) suggests a dual timeline story, which could end up having several ties to the original Final Destination movie. The description reads:
“In the 1960s, a grandmother predicts the collapse of a building and saves a group of people from death. Decades later, her granddaughter also begins to have visions of the death of her family members and later begins to realize that there is a sequence.”
Final Destination: Bloodlines comes from director’s Adam B. Stein and Zach Lipovsky, and stars Brec Bassinger, Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Rya Kihlstedt, Anna Lore, and Richard Harmon, as well as a posthumous appearance by the late Tony Todd returning as creepy mortician William Bludworth. The mix of dual period settings of the 1960s and, presumably the 1980s or 1990s, and the appearance by Todd’s character, is certainly intriguing and something that could help revive the franchise after several lackluster releases.
Can the ‘Final Destination’ Franchise Really Deliver Anything New?
Like many movie franchises built on a single premise of characters dying one by one, after a couple of run outs, it is hard to do anything new with the property other than rinse and repeat several increasingly elaborate death scenes. However, when the death scenes begin to defy all logic, and almost become eye-rolling moments that go beyond incredulous, then the horror and suspense is abandoned in favor of some kind of “death porn” spectacle.
The multigenerational storyline of Final Destination: Bloodlines does seem to be attempting to bring something new to the party, and with a mostly new cast, and coming 14 years after Final Destination 5, the movie can target an audience that was not the right age to see the original saga.

15 Things Final Destination Has Made People Scared Of
The Final destination franchise is responsible for inducing quite a few phobias. Here are 15 of the worst ways to go as imagined by the films.
Of course, it does not take a synopsis to work out that there will be many people dying in some intriguing and brutal ways. However, Final Destination: Bloodlines could face some unexpected competition from Osgood Perkins’ Stephen King adaptation, The Monkey, which reportedly includes some crazy and gory death scenes that have found the film struggling to put together a TV spot that is acceptable to distributors.
Either way, there is not too long to wait until Final Destination: Bloodlines attempts to capture an early summer box office win. If the film is a success, then it is pretty certain that the franchise will become yet another long-dormant IP that is being brought back to life after more than a decade. If it becomes a theatrical dud, there will be a deathly shadow lurking to take it away to a free streaming graveyard soon afterwards.
After years of speculation and anticipation, fans of the Final Destination franchise can finally rejoice as plot details for Final Destination 6 have been revealed ahead of the trailer release. Not only that, but there are also details about a potential prequel in the works. In Final Destination 6, we follow a group of young adults who narrowly escape a catastrophic disaster only to realize that death is still coming for them. As they try to outsmart death’s design, they uncover a sinister conspiracy that threatens to unravel everything they thought they knew about their own fate.
But that’s not all – rumors are circulating about a potential prequel that delves into the origins of the infamous “death design” and how it all began. Could we finally learn the true origins of the curse that haunts these unsuspecting victims?
Stay tuned for the trailer release and more updates on Final Destination 6 and the potential prequel as we await the next chapter in this thrilling and suspenseful franchise. Get ready to cheat death once again.

Marvel fans, prepare for launch. The first footage from The Fantastic Four: First Steps has come online, ahead of the official trailer tomorrow.
Before ABC revealed that the first trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps would premiere on Good Morning America on February 4 — which can conveniently be written as F4, the Fantastic Four’s logo — fans had speculated that the trailer might debut during the upcoming Super Bowl on Feb. 9. It had previously been reported that Disney had bought two ad spots for upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. At this time, it remains unclear which MCU movies will be promoted at the Super Bowl, although Marvel Studios also has Captain America: Brave New World and Thunderbolts* coming out this year, with the former set to hit theaters just a few days after the highly-watched football championship game. Check out the teaser for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, featuring a crowd in front of a window display of retro television sets excitedly awaiting the official trailer, below.
Marvel Studios and director Matt Shakman have assembled an A-list cast for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, with Pedro Pascal (Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby (Sue Storm/Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm/Human Torch), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Ben Grimm/The Thing) set to portray Marvel’s First Family. Their casting was first announced by Marvel Studios on Valentine’s Day.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps is scheduled to hit theaters on July 25, 2025, as part of Phase 6 of the MCU.

Fantastic Four
There has been a rumor that the Fantastic Four: First Steps trailer would debut during the Super Bowl on February 9 in one of those coveted ad slots. But a new leak indicates either that’s not the case, or if so, it will be the second time the trailer airs.
A now-deleted listing from the Good Morning America weekly schedule says that the Fantastic Four trailer is meant to air on that show on Tuesday, February 4. That does not appear to be a random choice as well, the date is…F4. Fantastic Four. You get it. Here is the listing that first premiered:
“Shop GMA series with “GMA” lifestyle contributor Lori Bergamotto featuring Valentine’s Day gift ideas; the debut of the “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” movie trailer; nutritionist Rachel Beller discusses foods that keep cancer at bay; day two of American Heart Month with ABC News chief medical correspondent Dr. Tara Narula and information about heart health risk factors; “GMA” February book club pick.”
I imagine that the idea is that given how hyped up trailer release dates get for things like big MCU movies, Disney does not want that revealed in Good Morning America show notes, hence the near-instant removal. My guess is that plans are not being changed and it will still air there, rather they’re just trying to cover it up and hope the majority of the public won’t notice. Most probably will not notice, if they’re not keeping up religiously with breaking online-only internet developments like this.
Marvel Rivals
As for the Super Bowl, it may make more sense to premiere the trailer on Good Morning America rather than shelling out for a Super Bowl spot, which does not have a small price tag. We have to assume the trailer is probably going to be two minutes long or so, and that is…a lot of ad space. However, I think what could happen is the GMA premiere is paired with some sort of shorter teaser at the Super Bowl which will have a much wider audience than a random episode of a morning show.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps will debut on July 25, 2025, and with the arrival of Marvel’s first family, it will be the most significant addition of characters to the MCU in many, many years, and set up plotlines for the next two Avengers movies. It stars hugely popular actors right now, Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Mr. Fantastic, The Invisible Woman, Human Torch and The Thing, respectively.
This is a big moment for the MCU, a first real look at these very important characters. As of now, expect that trailer Tuesday morning, and even if you’re not watching GMA, it will obviously be on the internet right after that.

#Fantastic #Trailer #Release #Date #LeakedKate Hudson really does look like the new Ted Lasso in Netflix’s trailer for sports comedy series Running Point
- Netflix has released a trailer for Running Point
- Kate Hudson stars as the president of a US basketball team
- The sports comedy has faced criticism for reportedly copying Ted Lasso
It’s hard to imagine how any sports comedy could emulate the success of Ted Lasso. Well, Netflix looks to be hoping to do just that by swapping soccer for basketball in the new trailer for sports comedy series Running Point.
Netflix has taken a leaf out of Ted Lasso’s book and created a new female boss in the sports industry. Running Point stars Kate Hudson as Isla Gordon, who is unexpectedly appointed the head of the Los Angeles Waves, one of the most famous professional basketball franchises in the US.
In the new trailer (see below), ambitious and fiery Isla fights to prove she’s the right person for the job, despite facing backlash from her male colleagues. From just watching the trailer, Running Point shares a similar humor and feel-good vibe to the hugely popular series Ted Lasso. Hey, I can’t complain, it looks like a perfect watch while I wait for a rumored fourth season of the best Apple TV Plus show.

Running Point vs Ted Lasso
In Running Point, when Isla’s brother is forced to resign as president of the Los Angeles Waves, she’s chosen to take over his role. Constantly overlooked by others, Isla must navigate the male-dominated world of sports and prove to her dubious brothers, the board, and the sports community that she’s up for the job.
It’s no illusion that the Mindy Kaling-created series has similarities to Ted Lasso, as Running Point has already been accused of copying its concept. According to The News in August 2024, it was reported that Ted Lasso creator and leading star Jason Sudeikis was “unimpressed with the similarities” between Running Point and his critically acclaimed show, which is about an American football coach that’s brought in to manage a British soccer team.
An insider close to the actor reportedly told the publication: “When Ted Lasso took off, it was such an offbeat, optimistic and wacky show that Jason legitimately believed it would be impossible to imitate. For a while there, he was right.
“Little did Jason know that pretty much the second Lasso ended production, there would be copycats popping up like weeds on the various streaming services. The copycat that particularly bugs him is Netflix’s sports comedy Running Point, which has completed shooting and which will roll out next year.”
We’ll have to wait and see if Running Point will become one of the best Netflix shows when it debuts on the best streaming service on February 27.

From her motivational speeches to her quirky coaching techniques, Hudson’s portrayal is sure to win over audiences just like Lasso did.
The trailer for Running Point showcases Hudson’s comedic timing and natural charm, making it clear that she is the perfect choice to lead this hilarious and heartwarming series. The first trailer for Happy Face is here!
A preview at the new Paramount+ show documenting a serial killer’s daughter, played by Annaleigh Ashford, fighting for justice has been released. Based on the real-life story of murderer Keith Jesperson and his daughter Melissa Reed, Happy Face stars Dennis Quaid as the dangerous Happy Face Killer.
“What do you know about the Happy Face Killer?” a talk show host named Dr. Greg (David Harewood) asks Reed at the start of the trailer. “Perhaps we should just explain why you’re here.”
After flashbacks of her childhood appear on the screen, she reveals her secret.
“Because he’s my father,” she tells the audience.
Kate Maree as Melissa and Dennis Quaid as Keith Jesperson.
Ed Araquel/Paramount+
A series of clips of Reed investigating cases she believes are linked to her estranged father then play while she contemplates reconciling with him for the sake of a man being put in jail for crimes Jesperson actually committed.
“Every violent act is a rock dropped in water,” she says. “If you stay silent, the ripples of trauma just keep pulling everyone they touch underneath.”
It ends with her decision: a visit to the prison where her father is being held.
“It’s so good to see you, Missy,” he whispers as the two come face-to-face.
Jesperson’s killings have been a topic of public interest since 2010 when he was convicted and given three life sentences for the strangulation deaths of eight women in the 1990’s (he once claimed to have as many as 160 victims). His last victim was only recently discovered in 2023, 29 years after her murder.
Jesperson was only dubbed the “Happy Face Killer” after the murders when he allegedly began drawing smiley faces on letters to police and the media during their investigation.

Victoria Will/Paramount+
His daughter, who goes by Melissa Moore, has been outspoken about the impact her father’s crimes had on her life, even writing a book about it in 2009, called Shattered Silence. She later opened up about it in an interview with 20/20 in 2015.
“We are secondary crime victims. We carry that shame and we want to remove that,” Moore said at the time” “I feel in a sense I am related to my father, but I didn’t cause the pain. But knowing that my father caused some pain causes me pain.”
She also admitted that there were signs everyone in Jesperson’s life overlooked, recalling one time during her childhood that he tortured and killed kittens.
“I think I caught a glimpse of the sociopath, the part of where felt in control over me and that he enjoyed it. I got the sense that there was another side to him,” she explained in a 2010 interview with the outlet.
She has gone on to work with others in the same position as her and help people who lost loved ones in unsolved murders.
