Ravens’ Marlon Humphrey Trolls Bills with Cancun Jab After Loss to Chiefs in AFCCG | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats, and Rumors
Michael Owens/Getty Images
Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey kept the receipts.
After the Buffalo Bills defeated his Ravens in the AFC Divisional Round, one of the victorious players apparently took a shot at Baltimore having nine Pro Bowlers and still falling short:
Albert Breer @AlbertBreer
One thing was clear—the @BuffaloBills felt disrespected. Right or wrong, it was a rallying cry, and Josh Allen brought up at halftime the narrative that the Bills weren’t big or strong enough.

On the way out, I heard a guy say, “Now those 9 Pro Bowlers can go to the Pro Bowl.” https://t.co/M13oe8TBS8
Well, Buffalo’s season came to an end Sunday with a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game. Humphrey seized the opportunity to bring things full circle when he took to social media and said, “after the pro bowl maybe we can all go enjoy Cancun.”
There’s a certain level of irony with Humphrey poking fun at the Bills after their loss.
After all, it was just a handful of days ago that he took to social media and urged Buffalo to defeat the Chiefs and prevent Patrick Mahomes and Co. from making history as the first team in the NFL to win three straight Super Bowls:
Humphrey and NFL fans who are tired of the Chiefs winning now have to put their hopes on the Philadelphia Eagles.
It will be a rematch of Super Bowl LVII, which Kansas City won 38-35. However, Philadelphia didn’t have Saquon Barkley on its side for that one, which could be the difference this time around.
But defeating a Chiefs team that feels inevitable is easier said than done.
Buffalo certainly knows that considering it has lost to Mahomes’ side in four of the last five postseasons. Two of those losses came in the AFC Championship Game, with Sunday coming in particularly painful fashion since it had a fourth-quarter lead.
Humphrey knows what it’s like to lose to the Chiefs at this stage since Kansas City defeated the Ravens in last season’s AFC Championship Game.
Ultimately, there is nobody in the NFL better at sending opponents to Cancun than Mahomes.
In a tweet that has since been deleted, Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey took a shot at the Buffalo Bills following their loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game.Humphrey tweeted, “Looks like Buffalo is headed to Cancun early this year,” referencing the Bills’ early exit from the playoffs. The tweet quickly went viral, with many fans and media outlets reacting to Humphrey’s jab.
While some found the tweet amusing, others criticized Humphrey for being unsportsmanlike. Regardless, the Ravens’ cornerback didn’t seem to mind the backlash, as he later tweeted, “I’m just here for the laughs.”
The Bills have yet to respond to Humphrey’s tweet, but it’s safe to say that this won’t be the last we hear of this social media feud. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.

Dee Warner disappeared on a Sunday morning in the spring, just as the first crops were being planted in the farmland of Lenawee County, Michigan. Warner, 52, was living on a farm with her second husband, Dale Warner, and their one child together, then 9. The Warners ran three main businesses from their farm, and Dee Warner had four adult children from her first marriage — all living on their own.
Dee Warner’s daughter, Rikkell Bock, lived about a half-mile from her mother’s farm — close enough to see her mom’s house from her own front yard.
Parker Hardy
It was Bock who first noticed Dee Warner was missing, on April 25, 2021, when she came over for their weekly Sunday breakfast and found no sign of her mom at home. Both of Dee Warner’s cars were on the property, and she was not responding to calls or texts, which Bock says was very unusual. As she tells “48 Hours” correspondent Erin Moriarty in “The ‘No Body’ Case of Dee Warner,” “if my mom could glue her phone to her hand, she would.”
Dee and Dale Warner owned a trucking business with about 15 employees. They also had a farm business, raising crops, and a chemical company that sold fertilizer and seed, all based on their rural property. Dee Warner is described by friends and family as a good businessperson — tough, generous and hard-working.
Bock says she and her adult siblings had seen their mother the day before she disappeared and says Dee Warner told them she had been in a fight with two employees from the trucking business that Saturday. Bock says her mom was very upset that day, which is part of the reason they made the decision to call the sheriff’s office and report her missing that Sunday.
After police got that call, the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office sent a deputy out to the Warner home. Dale Warner met the deputy and told him about his wife’s fight with their employees the day before. He said Dee had been upset, but that he wasn’t that alarmed because he noticed her makeup bag, hair dryer and curling iron were gone. He also said his wife had been known to leave before when upset. Dale Warner told police that he thought his wife would cool off and come back home.
Dee Warner’s brother Gregg Hardy and his wife Shelley Hardy say they were worried that Dee Warner had been so upset that she may have harmed herself — and wondered if that was why no one could find her. Gregg Hardy says he organized about 50 people to do a foot search of the farmland around his sister’s farm the weekend after she was reported missing, to see if they could find any trace of her. Their search came up empty.
Gregg Hardy says on the day of that search, Dale Warner showed up on a four-wheeler and “doesn’t really participate.” Gregg Hardy says he soon began to fear that Dale Warner may have harmed his sister, telling Moriarty, “I was getting these, call it a gut feeling if you like, whatever you’d call it, but I was very suspicious of his mannerisms.”
As time passed, Gregg Hardy says his suspicion only grew. Hardy says it was about six weeks after Dee Warner had disappeared when he asked Dale Warner how he thought the investigation was going. He says Dale Warner told him he thought the search for his wife was a little slow, but OK, and Hardy says he accused Warner of lying about what happened to his wife and vowed to get him.
Police had searched repeatedly for any trace of Dee Warner, but found no sign of her dead or alive, and no signs of violence. Dale Warner spoke to police many times voluntarily about his wife and allowed them to search his properties on several occasions. He would later assert, through an attorney, that he had not harmed Dee and that he had repeatedly denied harming her in his conversations with police.
Gregg Hardy organized a public vigil at his farm in the fall of 2021 to publicly ask for justice and draw attention to his sister’s case. At that vigil, Hardy accused Dale Warner of telling a concocted story that his sister had left on her own. Hardy told “48 Hours” that he was impatient for police to make a move. But the now former county prosecutor says he emphasized to Hardy at the time how important finding a body or similar physical evidence was and was aware of the risks of making an arrest too quickly.
Three months after that vigil, Shelley Hardy was watching an episode of “48 Hours” about a case where the victim’s family suspected foul play, but there was no body. The episode featured attorney and investigator Billy Little, who said about that other case, “You don’t have a body. So what? You don’t get to get away with murder because you’re good at disposing of bodies.”
Gregg and Shelley Hardy say they were both moved by that statement, and wanted to find Little and see if he could help them with Dee Warner’s case. Little came to Lenawee County the next month to do what he could to assist.
Part of Little’s help, Gregg Hardy says, was strategic: he gave Hardy advice on how to use the press to get the word out about Dee Warner’s case. And Little says he did a lot of footwork — talking to potential witnesses, walking properties where Hardy thought they might find evidence, and flying drones over the land to look for clues.
CBS News
Part of that effort, they both say, was to make Dale Warner feel the pressure of their investigation. Soon after Little came to help, Hardy says he paid for a billboard that read, “Help Dale Find Dee,” and put it up at a big intersection near the Warner home, where, Hardy says, the truck drivers from their trucking company would be sure to see it.
The billboard was intended sarcastically, Little and Hardy say, since they both didn’t think Dale Warner was acting like a concerned husband. Little also said the billboard was intended almost as a form of psychological pressure on Warner, and to publicly shame him for their belief that he was not doing enough to find his wife.
With a community of Dee’s friends and supporters, Little and Hardy continued to hold more rallies, and vigils, and lobbied to have state police take over the case from the county sheriff. Michigan State Police did take over Dee Warner’s case in August 2022, but had been assisting on the investigation before that, as did the FBI. In November 2023, state police arrested Dale Warner and charged him with Dee Warner’s murder. Dale Warner pleaded not guilty.
At the time of that arrest, police still had not found any trace of Dee Warner. Dale Warner was bound over for trial in June of 2024 and his trial for murder is slated to begin on Sept. 2, 2025.
Dale Warner and his attorney declined to speak to “48 Hours” about the case pretrial, as did the state police and the county prosecutor. Warner’s attorney told “48 Hours” in an email that “Mr. Warner maintains his innocence, and we are prepared to vigorously fight for him in court and present his defense.”
In August 2024, soon after Dale Warner was bound over for trial, police found a major piece of physical evidence in the case.
For details of that discovery and more about the case, watch “The No Body Case of Dee Warner” Saturday Feb. 1, 2025, at 10/9c on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
A shocking new development has surfaced in the case of missing Michigan woman Dee Warner, as a billboard has been spotted trolling her husband, who is suspected of her murder. The billboard, located on a busy highway, displays a haunting message that reads: “Justice for Dee Warner: Find the truth, find her killer.”Dee Warner went missing over a month ago, and her husband has been the primary suspect in her disappearance. Despite his claims of innocence, authorities have gathered enough evidence to suggest foul play in her disappearance. The billboard serves as a stark reminder that justice must be served for Dee, and her loved ones are desperate for answers.
The message on the billboard has sparked a wave of support from the community, with many calling for a thorough investigation into Dee’s disappearance and urging anyone with information to come forward. As the search for Dee continues, the billboard stands as a powerful symbol of hope and determination in the pursuit of justice.
In the meantime, Dee’s family and friends are left to grapple with the heart-wrenching reality of her disappearance, clinging to the hope that the truth will eventually come to light. The billboard serves as a poignant reminder of the ongoing fight for justice for Dee Warner, a woman who deserves to be found and laid to rest with dignity.

‘Watson’ star Morris Chestnut on racist trolls, Hollywood longevity
For the record, Morris Chestnut is not a real doctor. He just plays one on TV.
To be precise, Chestnut has played multiple physicians in the last several years, scrubbing in as a trauma specialist in “Nurse Jackie” before moving on to pathology in Fox’s “Rosewood.”
The last doctor he played, Barrett Cain in Fox’s “The Resident,” is a standout. Viewers loathed him. Chestnut loved it.
“Cain was more concerned about the money a patient would make for the hospital than the patient’s health,” he said with a mischievous laugh. “Fans loved to hate me. They would approach me and say, ‘You’re so mean.’ I really liked that.”
Chestnut is putting his “bad doctor” days behind him, taking on a new specialty as a compassionate geneticist and internist in CBS’ medical drama “Watson,” a modern reboot of the Sherlock Holmes mythology. He plays Dr. John Watson, Holmes’ partner, who becomes the head of an elite rare disorders clinic at a Pittsburgh hospital after Holmes is murdered.
“I’ve never made Hollywood my life,” Chestnut said. “It’s a tough place — physically and emotionally.”
(Christina House / Los Angeles Times)
Reworking the Watson character means more to Chestnut than just expanding his medical resume. While he has enjoyed a fairly consistent career since his acclaimed debut in 1991’s “Boyz N the Hood,” Chestnut has mostly been featured in ensemble or supporting roles, many of them romantic vehicles showcasing his good looks and athletic build.
“Watson” represents his hoped-for ascension into the ranks of leading man.
“This is a significant milestone for me in a number of ways,” he said. “I’ve had lead roles before, but as an actor, I feel I’m hitting my stride in terms of how I approach the work. The opportunity to play this character, and on CBS, is huge. And to play with the Sherlock Holmes mythology is something I never would have imagined.”
CBS is putting heavy promotional muscle behind “Watson.” Before its official premiere Feb. 16, the network is launching the drama on Jan. 26 following the NFL playoffs.
“Given our strong belief in the show, it’s only fitting to give ‘Watson’ a high-profile launch with a powerful lead-in immediately following the AFC Championship football game, which is always one of the most viewed television events of the year, and a proven platform for launching some of our most successful series,” Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment, said in an email. She called Chestnut “a classic, charming lead star, and his singular take on the iconic doctor is bold, wise and heroic.”
The actor maintained that “Watson” is distinctive from other medical dramas. “We are not just doctors, we are detectives,” he said. “When patients come into our clinic, we don’t solve the medical mystery right there. We go into their homes, we go into the streets. It’s combining the medical aspect of Watson with the influence of Sherlock.”
Making his way through a healthy breakfast at a Beverly Hills hotel, Chestnut was enthusiastic as he discussed the series. He looked much the same as he did in the first “The Best Man” feature in 1999 in which his portrayal of a muscular football star solidified his heartthrob status.
He credited his appearance to his aggressively healthy lifestyle: “It’s a blessing from God. I’ve never made Hollywood my life. It’s just a part of my life. It’s a tough place — physically and emotionally. I’ve seen it eat people and spit them out. I go home and chill after work. I don’t go to parties. That stuff can take a toll on your soul, body and mind.”
Chestnut as John Watson in “Watson,” which premieres Sunday in the prime post-NFL time slot.
(Colin Bentley / CBS)
Chestnut, who is also an executive producer of “Watson,” was immediately excited when first presented with the pilot script from showrunner Craig Sweeny. “It was so strong. Had everything — action, emotion, wit. It left you with a cliffhanger to see where things were going to go. After I met with Craig and learned where he wanted to take the show, I knew I had to sign on.”
Yet he also is uncomfortably aware that not everyone is pleased with a Black actor taking on a role that has historically been portrayed by white men. The list of past Watsons include Nigel Bruce, Robert Duvall, Jude Law, John C. Reilly and Martin Freeman.
The move has been already met with gripes on social media, mirroring the criticism that greeted the casting of Halle Bailey in the live-action remake of “The Little Mermaid,” the “Star Wars” franchise and other beloved properties that have embraced more cultural diversity.
“I’m reluctant to discuss it, particularly in the times we’re living in,” said Chestnut, his deep voice registering his disappointment. “I’ve seen some negative comments about me playing this character. And I really don’t want to focus on that — I just hope people see the character in the mythology for who he is. I don’t want to call attention to that.”
Still, he acknowledged that his casting would have attracted less attention several years ago, when the Black Lives Matter movement sparked calls for more equity and inclusion in Hollywood.
Said Chestnut, “It would have been much more seamless, 100%. In these times, people like to point to certain things and bring a negative political spin to it. I’m glad that ‘The Little Mermaid’ and ‘Wicked’ are wildly successful. In my whole career, I’ve never made it about things outside of my work. It is frustrating to have to deal with that. Hopefully we are all successful.”
“Watson” is just one of several new doctor dramas checking into prime time this season. NBC’s “Brilliant Minds,” Fox’s “Doc,” Max’s “The Pitt” and ABC’s “Doctor Odyssey” have joined veterans “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Chicago Med.”
Assisting Watson in the clinic is a squad of young, accomplished doctors who are also investigating the rare disorders. Complicating his personal life is his lingering affection for his ex-wife, Dr. Mary Morstan (Rochelle Aytes), who is also the hospital’s medical director. And Watson is still being targeted by Holmes’ nemesis, Moriarty.
“I’m most energized not only by the evolution of my character, but of the other characters,” Chestnut said. “The audience is really going to feel for them. The show is exciting and emotional.”
Chestnut first rose to prominence in the 1990s with films such as “Boyz N the Hood” and “The Best Man.”
(Christina House / Los Angeles Times)
The series marks the network’s second Holmes reboot. “Elementary,” which starred Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu as the investigative duo, premiered in 2012 and had a solid seven-season run.
Sweeny, who was an executive producer on “Elementary,” said Chestnut was one of the actors he was thinking about when he was writing the pilot for “Watson”: “It was because of his empathy and intelligence. Everybody in the industry has nothing but glowing words for Morris as a person. He is one of the kindest and most respectful people I’ve ever worked with, as well as a great leader.”
He was also impressed by a few of the actor’s previous portrayals of physicians.
Said Sweeny: “In writing a medical show, I’m going to task the actor with swimming in an ocean of medical jargon. It takes a commitment. With this show, we’re committed to getting the science right with every medical twist and turn. Correct science has a lot of syllables. Morris is as committed to getting it right on his end as we are in the writing.”
“Playing a doctor is very challenging, and playing a doctor in a one-hour series is even more challenging,” Chestnut said. “The medical terminology is almost a different language. I have to know what I’m talking about. I can’t change the words around like I could in a regular role. The terms and diagnosis have to be accurate and on point. It puts a whole different layer to the performance.”
It’s a challenge he is grateful to take on, particularly at this point in his creative growth. In “Boyz N the Hood,” late director John Singleton‘s landmark debut about young people living amid the dangers of gang life in South Los Angeles, Chestnut played Ricky Baker, a star high school football star who hopes to go to college with a scholarship. Ricky meets a tragic end when he is gunned down by gang members.
“Aside from that film launching my career, it has helped me sustain my career,” he said. “It’s not only a great film, but people were rooting for me. People were emotionally connected to the character, but the staying power while I was doing other projects connected people to me. I can’t tell you how many people I talk to today who were not alive when the movie was released.”
The other key highlight is “The Best Man,” Malcolm D. Lee’s romantic comedy about a group of college friends who have a joyous but rocky reunion when two of them decide to marry. That film bucked the trend of Black films at the time that focused on turmoil in Black areas, focusing on sophisticated, upscale Black characters.
Chestnut was among the cast members who would move on to major stardom, including Taye Diggs, Terrence Howard, Nia Long, Regina Hall and Melissa De Sousa. The cast reunited for a sequel, 2013’s “The Best Man Holiday,” and the 2022 Peacock limited series “The Best Man: The Final Chapters.”
In the franchise, Chestnut played another star football player, Lance Sullivan, who is emotionally distraught in “The Best Man Holiday” after learning that his wife, Mia (Monica Calhoun), is dying of cancer. Once again, Chestnut said, “People were on an emotional journey with me. That also helped me sustain a career.”
Those films and subsequent projects have positioned him for the spotlight in “Watson,” he said.
“I am so honored they thought of me for this,” he said. “I just wanted the industry to recognize me, to see me and say, ‘I want that guy.’ ”
“Watson” Star Morris Chestnut Opens Up About Dealing with Racist Trolls and His Secrets to Hollywood LongevityMorris Chestnut, star of the hit TV show “Watson,” recently sat down for an exclusive interview where he opened up about the challenges of dealing with racist trolls in the entertainment industry and his secrets to maintaining a successful career in Hollywood.
In the interview, Chestnut revealed that he has faced his fair share of racist comments and hate online, but he refuses to let it bring him down. “I know who I am, and I know my worth. I don’t let the opinions of ignorant people affect me or my work,” he said.
When asked about his longevity in Hollywood, Chestnut credited his work ethic and dedication to his craft. “I always strive to give 110% in everything I do. I constantly push myself to be better and to take on new challenges,” he explained.
Chestnut also emphasized the importance of staying true to himself and not compromising his values for the sake of fame or success. “I believe in staying authentic and true to who I am. That’s what has kept me grounded and focused throughout my career,” he said.
As “Watson” continues to gain popularity and Chestnut’s star continues to rise, it’s clear that his talent and resilience will continue to propel him to new heights in Hollywood. Fans can’t wait to see what he has in store next.

Tommy Fleetwood recently started in a hilarious video along with the social media influencer Hannah Aslesen, who is also part of the St. André Golf team. In this video, the British golfer trolled his Ryder Cup skipper, Luke Donald, and jokingly tried to create drama.
Fleetwood shared this video on his X account (formerly Twitter), revealed this was influencer training, and apologized to Donald.
“Influencer training…sorry captain @LukeDonald!!”
In the video, Aslesen advised Fleetwood to take up fights as everyone loves seeing drama and gave a few examples like Tiger vs Phil, Bryson vs Brooks, and Bryson vs Rope. However, Fleetwood said he doesn’t have any enemies as everyone loves him. Aslesen looked ahead and saw Luke Donald walking in with a coffee cup and said, “for now”.
The 33-year-old British golfer then walked with an intimidating look on his face, smashed the coffee cup from Donald’s hand, and cussed him. The European Ryder Cup captain looked confused and did not know how to react.
Tommy Fleetwood on his goals of qualifying for the Ryder Cup
Tommy Fleetwood is currently competing in the 2025 Hero Dubai Desert Classic. During the pre-round press conference, he talked about his goal of qualifying for the Ryder Cup through automatic qualification and not relying on the captain’s picks.
“Yeah, I think it’s always a goal to qualify for the Ryder Cup. That was my goal in the last one, which I didn’t manage to do,” Fleetwood said.
Tommy Fleetwood at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic – Day Three – Source: Getty The top six players in the Ryder Cup rankings will qualify directly, and the skipper picks the remaining six golfers as the captain’s picks. Fleetwood was one of the captain’s picks in the last Ryder Cup in 2023, but the British golfer wishes to qualify for this year’s edition directly.
“But you want to qualify for the Ryder Cup, and not rely on a captain’s pick, of course, and Luke, you know, I was very grateful that Luke showed his faith in me in the last one and made me one of the six picks. It gets harder and harder, really, to qualify.”
He also said he would love to be in Team Europe in any kind of form.
“Yeah, I would love to be there in any kind of form. I hope that I’m playing and I hope that I’ll be one of the guys that qualify,” Fleetwood said.
Tommy Fleetwood is currently ranked 16th in the European Team standings for the Ryder Cup. He has 268.73 points and needs to be consistent with his performance in the upcoming events if he wishes to break into the top six who will qualify for the 2025 Ryder Cup at Bethpage directly.

Tommy Fleetwood, the charismatic English golfer, has once again stolen the spotlight, this time in an epic commercial where he hilariously trolls fellow golfer Luke Donald. In the commercial, Fleetwood is seen practicing on the driving range when Donald, who is donning a captain’s hat, approaches him and starts giving him some unsolicited advice. Fleetwood, with a mischievous twinkle in his eye, proceeds to playfully mock Donald’s “captain” title, jokingly asking him if he’s the captain of the “SS Minnow” or the “Love Boat.”
As Donald struggles to maintain his composure, Fleetwood continues to tease him, cracking jokes and making funny faces as they go back and forth in a battle of wits. The commercial ends with Fleetwood hitting a perfect shot and cheekily declaring, “Looks like the real captain is here!”
The commercial has been a hit with fans and golf enthusiasts alike, showcasing Fleetwood’s natural charisma and sense of humor. It’s clear that Fleetwood is not only a talented golfer but also a master of comedic timing.
With his star on the rise, it’s safe to say that Tommy Fleetwood is not just a golfing sensation, but also a commercial star in the making. Keep an eye out for more hilarious antics from this talented and entertaining golfer.

Coleman Hawkins Trolls SEC After Alabama’s Loss To Michigan
Michigan’s stunning bowl victory over Alabama has many in the collegiate sports world talking.
One of them was Kansas State forward Coleman Hawkins, who trolled Alabama after its 13-point performance Tuesday.
SEC
— Coleman Hawkins (@colehawk23) December 31, 2024
Hawkins still proudly supports his former Illinois Fighting Illini and congratulated them after their Cheez-It Citrus Bowl victory over South Carolina. Alabama was the fourth SEC team to lose a Big Ten opponent this bowl season, prompting Hawkins to add fuel to the Big Ten-SEC rivalry.
Illinois football coach Bret Bielema joined Hawkins in showing the track record between the two conferences post-regular season.

Alabama was not selected to participate in the college football playoffs, a decision many questioned. Their loss to Michigan reciprocated these thoughts, as their now-four losses are the school’s most since Nick Saban’s first season in 2007. Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe completed just 50 percent of his passes against Michigan, with his three first-quarter turnovers leading to 13 Michigan points.
Even Alabama defender Paul Finebaum threw in the towel on the Crimson Tide deserving a postseason spot.
“I led the Alabama parade to get them into the playoffs,” Finebaum said on Get Up! Wednesday morning. “I stood on every building, especially on this show. But on the first day of the new year, I’m surrendering. I am waving the white flag. Forget Alabama, I’m done, get me out.”
Jayden Armant is a graduate of the Howard University School of Communications and a contributor to Kansas State Wildcats on SI. He can be reached at jaydenshome14@gmail.com or follow him on Twitter @jaydenarmant.
Alabama’s loss to Michigan in the NCAA tournament has sent shockwaves through the college basketball world, and legendary jazz saxophonist Coleman Hawkins couldn’t resist taking a jab at the Southeastern Conference (SEC) in the aftermath. In a tweet that has since gone viral, Hawkins wrote, “Looks like the SEC couldn’t handle the heat from the Big Ten! Maybe next time, Alabama. #RollTideNoMore #B1G”
The post has sparked a wave of reactions from fans and analysts alike, with many praising Hawkins for his wit and humor. Some SEC supporters, however, have taken offense to the comment, arguing that it was unnecessary and disrespectful.
Regardless of where you stand on the issue, one thing is for certain: Coleman Hawkins knows how to stir the pot and keep things interesting in the world of college basketball. And with March Madness in full swing, we can only hope that his trolling antics continue to entertain us in the days to come.

South Alabama trolls Alabama after ReliaQuest Bowl loss
Alabama lost to Michigan 19-13 in the ReliaQuest Bowl on Tuesday, and one in-state program relished it — the South Alabama Jaguars.
The Crimson Tide had three turnovers, all at the hands of quarterback Jalen Milroe with two fumbles and an interception in the first quarter. The Wolverines scored after each turnover to jump out to a 16-0 lead.
Alabama cut the deficit to within one possession to close the first half. But the Crimson Tide was scoreless in the second half until 4:38 remained in the game, allowing Michigan to win its third straight bowl game.
The Crimson Tide finished 9-4 this season, racking up their most losses in any season since 2007 when they lost six in Nick Saban’s first season as head coach, according to ESPN Research. The defeat also prompted a troll from the Jaguars.
South Alabama beat Western Michigan 30-23 in the IS4S Salute to Veterans Bowl on Dec. 14. The Jaguars boasted about their victory and poked fun at the Crimson Tide’s season-ending loss with a fictitious newspaper graphic touting the headline: “Only team in Alabama to win a bowl game this season.”

— South Alabama Football (@SouthAlabamaFB) December 31, 2024
Of the eight Division I programs in Alabama, only three — Alabama, South Alabama and Jacksonville State — participated in a bowl game this season. Jacksonville State lost 30-27 to Ohio in the Cure Bowl.
