‘Is Usha Vance hotter than Jackie O?’ JFK’s grandson’s bizarre X poll sparks uproar
Jack Schlossberg, grandson of the late President John F Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, found himself at the centre of controversy on Monday after a series of peculiar tweets during President Donald Trump‘s inauguration ceremony.
The 32-year-old political correspondent took to X to post a question comparing Vice President JD Vance’s wife, Usha Vance, to his own grandmother, the iconic Jackie Kennedy.
“True or false: Usha Vance is way hotter than Jackie O?” Schlossberg asked his followers, drawing an immediate backlash. One user playfully responded, suggesting that both women were “very foxy ladies.” Schlossberg replied, “Really appreciate this take thanks Sam,” but his follow-up tweet escalated the situation further.
“I called my grandmother hot … have I totally lost it? Jesus … this kid will do anything for attention. Your grandfather would be ashamed. Seriously. Time to get a job,” Schlossberg wrote, referring to himself in third person.
The tweets left many of Schlossberg’s followers concerned. “Gonna be honest man, I think most people don’t do hotness rankers involving their grandmas,” one user commented.Another wrote, “It’s not too late to delete this,” while others scolded Schlossberg for the inappropriate remarks. “You consider your grandma a ‘hottie’?” one critic asked, while another accused him of being “desperate for engagement.”
Several users urged the Harvard graduate to “seek help” and reconsider his approach to public discourse.
Recently, JFK’s grandson, Jack Schlossberg, sparked controversy with a bizarre poll comparing his grandmother, Jackie O, to Usha Vance. The poll, which asked followers to vote on who they thought was hotter, quickly drew criticism for its insensitive and disrespectful nature. Many were outraged at the comparison, pointing out that Jackie O was a beloved and iconic figure who should not be reduced to a superficial beauty contest. Others questioned the motives behind Schlossberg’s poll and called for him to apologize for his insensitive remarks.
Ultimately, the poll was taken down and Schlossberg issued a statement apologizing for any offense caused. However, the incident serves as a reminder of the importance of respecting the legacies of historical figures and not reducing them to mere objects of comparison.

JFK’s grandson asks whether Usha Vance is ‘way hotter’ than his grandma Jackie, netizens ask him to ‘seek help’

John F. Kennedy’s grandson, Jack Schlossberg, took to X to question whether JD Vance’s wife, Usha Vance, was “hotter” than his grandmother Jackie Kennedy.
Recently, JFK’s grandson made a controversial statement comparing his grandmother, Jackie Kennedy, to Usha Vance, sparking outrage among netizens. The young Kennedy was quoted as asking whether Vance was “way hotter” than his iconic grandmother. Many were quick to condemn the statement, calling it inappropriate and disrespectful to Jackie Kennedy’s memory. Some even went as far as to suggest that the young Kennedy should seek help for making such a crass comparison.
It is important to remember that Jackie Kennedy was a beloved figure in American history, known for her grace, intelligence, and style. Comparing her to someone else in terms of physical attractiveness is not only shallow but also diminishes her legacy.
Let us remember Jackie Kennedy for the extraordinary woman she was and not reduce her to a mere object of comparison. And let us hope that JFK’s grandson learns from this misstep and shows more respect in the future.

JFK’s grandson baffles followers asking if Usha Vance is ‘way hotter’ than his grandmother Jackie O
John F Kennedy’s grandson Jack Schlossberg shocked his X/Twitter followers when he asked an unexpected question about his grandmother Jacqueline Lee Kennedy Onassis’s looks.
Yesterday (January 20), during President Donald Trump’s second inauguration, the 32-year-old, born John Bouvier Kennedy Schlossberg, wrote: “True or False? Usha Vance is way hotter than Jackie O.”
The post, which has now garnered over 5.6 million views, drew immediate backlash as numerous people reminded the Vogue political correspondent: “That’s your grandmother!!!!”

“Gonna be honest man, I think most people don’t do hotness rankers involving their grandmas,” one person commented, while another asked: “Are you that desperate for engagement?”
“Jack NOOO this may be taking the trolling too far,” a third commented.
“If you have a therapist, mention this at the next session,” wrote another.

Schlossberg’s tweet spawned several memes from short clips of Debra Jo Rupp in That 70s Show to a video of a man on the subway screaming: “Police! Help! Police!”

Others, meanwhile, answered the question more honestly: “I would say Usha Vance is a little hotter than Jackie, but that’s just personal preference and not a commentary on either woman’s moral character or general vibe. I think we can both agree that they are two *very* foxy ladies, am I right Jack, my man???””
Schlossberg replied: “Really appreciate this take thanks Sam.”
He later followed up to his own tweet, writing: “I’m a literal pervert. I called my grandmother hot… have I totally lost it ? Jesus … this kid will do anything for attention. Your grandfather would be ashamed. Seriously. Time to get a job.”
For the inaugural swearing-in ceremony on Monday, Usha Vance, wife of Vice President JD Vance, seemed to play upon former First Lady Jackie Kennedy’s iconic silhouette and dignified use of color in a bubblegum, belted pink overcoat and a matching neck scarf.

Vance’s bright jacket cut across a sea of dullness on the inaugural stage yesterday, especially to FLOTUS Melania Trump, who wore a black and white ensemble by Adam Lippes.
In the past, incoming first ladies have donned light-hued jackets akin to Vance’s. Indeed, Melania chose to forego tradition, conservatively covering up in the navy blue garment and a wide-brimmed hat concealing the top half of her face, making it difficult to read her expressions.
Online, people compared her Eric Javits head accessory to cartoon villains and evil film characters such as the Hamburglar and Jim Carrey’s green-faced persona in The Mask.
“Why the hell does Melania Trump look like the Hamburglar?” one person asked on X, while another said: “And now I will never unsee it. Thank you.”
In a recent Instagram post, JFK’s grandson, Jack Schlossberg, has left followers scratching their heads with a controversial question. In a selfie posted to his account, Schlossberg is seen posing next to Usha Vance, sparking speculation about the nature of their relationship. But it wasn’t the photo itself that caused a stir, it was the caption that accompanied it. In the caption, Schlossberg asked his followers if they thought Vance was “way hotter” than his iconic grandmother, Jackie O. The comparison between Vance, a relatively unknown figure, and the beloved former First Lady has raised eyebrows and led to some heated debates in the comments section.
Some fans were quick to defend Jackie O, praising her timeless beauty and elegance. Others were more forgiving of Schlossberg’s question, chalking it up to his youthful exuberance and sense of humor. Regardless, the post has certainly sparked conversation and left many wondering about the intentions behind Schlossberg’s provocative question.
As of now, Schlossberg has not clarified his intentions or addressed the controversy surrounding his post. It remains to be seen whether he will provide any further explanation or if this will simply be chalked up as a moment of social media mischief. Stay tuned for updates on this unfolding story.

What religion is JD Vance? What religion is his wife Usha Vance?
Vice President-elect JD Vance and his wife Usha Vance kicked off Inauguration Day festivities Monday morning with a service at St. John’s Church, a historic Episcopal church near the White House.
The service precedes a full day of events, as President-elect Donald Trump prepares to enter his second presidential term. Vance, the former Ohio GOP Senator and Middletown native, will also be sworn in Monday, taking the oath of office using a Bible that once belonged to his great-grandmother.
Here’s what to know about JD and Usha Vance’s religious backgrounds.
What religion is JD Vance?
Vance was baptized Catholic and received his first communion in 2019 at St. Gertrude Priory, which is attached to a Dominican parish in Cincinnati, where Vance now lives. He chose St. Augustine as his patron saint.
“I became persuaded over time that Catholicism was true. I was raised Christian, but never had a super-strong attachment to any denomination, and was never baptized. When I became more interested in faith, I started out with a clean slate, and looked at the church that appealed most to me intellectually,” Vance said in an interview with The American Conservative.
What religion is JD Vance’s wife, Usha Vance?
JD Vance’s wife, Usha Vance, will become the first Indian American second lady in the White House upon her husband’s inauguration. Usha Vance will also be the first Hindu second lady, having come from a Hindu family who is deeply religious.
In a June interview with Fox News, the vice president-elect said his wife helped him “re-engage” with his Christian faith.
The couple, who met when they were both students at Yale Law School, got married in Kentucky in 2014 and were blessed by a Hindu pundit in a separate ceremony, per The New York Times.
JD Vance is a Christian and his wife Usha Vance is a Hindu.

Ivanka Trump decided to go with a custom Oscar de la Renta gown for the candlelight dinner hosted by her father Donald Trump at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C., on Sunday night.
Ivanka Trump and Usha Vance received criticism for wearing a couture Oscar de la Renta during Trump’s pre-inauguration events.(X/Instagran) Ahead of Trump’s inauguration as the 47th president, his eldest daughter was spotted with some of her father’s wealthiest and staunch supporters like Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, and Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX. She was seen hugging and interacting with Bezos’ fiancée Lauren Sanchez.
The fashion brand described Ivanka’s unique dress as an off-the-shoulder gown with an empire waist, adorned with pearl and crystal flowers, and a silver stole.
Meanwhile, some liberals called out the fashion brand Oscar de la Renta, which created the gowns that Ivanka and incoming Second Lady Usha Vance donned during Trump’s pre-inauguration festivities.
What X users have to say about Ivanka dress
X users not only slammed Ivanka‘s outfit, but also blasted Oscar de la Renta for endorsing “fascism.”
One of the most well-liked comments beneath the photo stated, “Fascism – but make it Fashion.”
Another added, “The big brands once again support the evil in the name of higher profits, just like it happened during the rise of Nazis.”
A third wrote, “Boot licking is never in season.”
“Always have loved. Sad to be done with [Oscar de la Renta]. I don’t support brands that support fascists,” one more chimed in.

Usha Vance faces backlash for her black velvet gown
Vice President-elect JD Vance’s wife, Usha, received criticism for wearing a couture Oscar de la Renta dress to the Vice President’s banquet on Saturday.
One commenter on X demanded a boycott of Oscar de la Renta after seeing a photo of Usha sporting the black velvet gown with the sweetheart neckline and asymmetric floral motifs.
“Bye Oscar de la Renta. I know you won’t be cancelled but you are to me, for having no f***ing morals,” another commented.
“Boycott Oscar de la Renta,” one more remarked.
Know about De La Renta
The late Dominican fashion designer who established the brand, Oscar de la Renta, has a longstanding tradition of dressing First Ladies.
De La Renta first gained popularity when he designed an outfit for Jackie Kennedy. He also dressed Nancy Reagan, Laura Bush, and Hillary Clinton.
Meanwhile, the fashion house received a ton of criticism on its Instagram page for creating evening gowns for Ivanka and Usha.
The recent pre-inauguration bash hosted by Ivanka Trump has sparked controversy, with many calling for a boycott of the event due to the stunning gowns worn by Ivanka and Usha Vance. The two women donned beautiful designs that reportedly caught the eye of many attendees, but also drew criticism from those who believe they are supporting the Trump administration. The most notable gown worn was a creation by designer Oscar de la Renta, a brand that has previously dressed First Ladies and other prominent figures. However, after the event, calls for a boycott of the designer have been circulating on social media, with many expressing their disappointment in seeing their designs associated with the Trump family.
Despite the backlash, Ivanka and Usha Vance seemed unfazed by the criticism, with both women confidently showcasing their elegant ensembles. It remains to be seen how the controversy will impact the designer and their future collaborations with the Trump family.

President-elect Donald Trump and his family won’t be the only ones thrust into the spotlight after he and running mate Vice President-elect JD Vance are sworn in on Monday. Usha Vance, soon-to-be second lady, will also be along for the ride.
Before American businessman and former President Trump takes his oath of office at noon ET on Inauguration Day, Vance will step onto the inaugural platform and do the same, according to the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies.
Usha Vance and the couple’s three children will be among those in attendance at the swearing-in ceremony in Washington, D.C.
While the title of second lady is more of a ceremonial role, it’s likely Usha Vance will continue to offer her husband unwavering support as he steps into this new role.
In JD Vance’s 2016 memoir “Hillbilly Elegy,” the former Ohio senator described his wife as his “spirit guide” who bailed him out at a fancy dinner by secretly advising him on the right cutlery to use and reminded him that “every perceived slight is not cause for a blood feud.”
Who is Usha Vance? Here’s what to know about JD Vance’s wife and the former corporate litigator as the family joins Trump at the White House.

Usha met JD while they were both students at Yale Law School, where she was one of the top students.
They were assigned as partners for their first major writing assignment: “She seemed some sort of genetic anomaly, a combination of every positive quality a human being should have: bright, hardworking, tall, and beautiful,” JD Vance wrote in his memoir.
Before attending law school, Usha Vance received an undergraduate degree from Yale University and later completed a Master of Philosophy at the University of Cambridge, after having received the Gates Cambridge Scholarship, TIME reported.
Usha Vance, who was a registered Democrat until 2014, clerked for conservative judges including, US Supreme Court Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr., and Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh when he was an appeals court judge, after she graduated from law school in 2013.
The couple was married a year later.

Usha Vance’s religion

“My parents are Hindu and that was one of the things that made them such good parents, that make them really, very good people,” she told Fox News. “And so, I think I’ve seen that, the power of that in my own life.”
Will Usha Vance and her family join Trump at the White House?
The Vance family, per tradition, will move from their home in Cincinnati’s East Walnut Hills neighborhood to the grounds of the United States Naval Observatory after the inauguration festivities are complete.
Vice Presidents and their families have lived in a white nineteenth-century house located at Number One Observatory Circle, a couple miles away from the White House, since 1977. It has since been home to the families of Vice Presidents Bush, Quayle, Gore, Cheney, Biden, and Pence, according to the White House.

The New Year’s Eve party at Mar-a-Lago was attended by figures including Elon Musk and President-elect Donald Trump, who was accompanied by his wife, Melania Trump. Melania wore a black Versace gown, featuring a column silhouette, a style that aligns with her preference for streamlined fashion. The draped cowl neck balanced the rigid structure of the column shape. She accessorized with gold rings and black shoes.
Elon Musk’s mom, Maye Musk, also attended the event in a crystal-embellished suit with statement diamond earrings.
