Storylines heading into Flyers visiting Avalanche after trade

30 Rock Jokes aside, it’s been quite a week for the Flyers. They got shut out in back-to-back games against the New Jersey Devils and New York Islanders, and made a trade midgame that sent Joel Farabee and Morgan Frost to the Calgary Flames. We’ve written a lot about that trade on Broad Street Hockey, from the cap implications to a dose of cold hard reality, so we won’t spill too much ink on it in today’s preview.
Not to get lost in the departure of two homegrown players, the Flyers got two guys back: Andrei Kuzmenko (who could provide some scoring pop) and Jakob Pelletier. It’s up in the air whether one or both of them will be able to join the team in Denver today due to visa issues, but the hope is that they’ll both be present for the match against Utah on Tuesday. If they do make their Flyers debut this afternoon, keep an eye on their usage–both are wingers, which should fill in the gap left by Farabee and perhaps allow Tyson Foerster or Owen Tippett to shift back to their natural positions at right wing.
Right, so, the Flyers: they’ve been really bad–and it’s not even completely on the goaltenders this time! Sam Ersson and Ivan Fedotov could’ve stood on their heads, but you can’t win hockey games when you don’t score any goals, and the Flyers have failed to do so for almost seven periods of hockey. Travis Konecny and Matvei Michkov’s goal droughts sit at six games and, as the de facto offensive dynamos of the team, that’s not great! The Flyers need their top players to score if they hope to win games, because Noah Cates was bound to fall back to Earth.
However, the Flyers might get some jump from a slew of new and returning players. If Pelletier and Kuzmenko aren’t ready to go, the Flyers have called up Jacob Gaucher from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms to get his first taste of NHL action with the team. The Flyers have also recalled Emil Andrae and Aleksei Kolosov; it’ll be great to see Andrae back with the team, but bringing back Kolosov does raise concern about a Fedotov injury (he got run into pretty hard against the Islanders). Kolosov has…not been great in his stint with the Phantoms, allowing five goals in two of his three starts. Anthony Richard and Rodrigo Abols are still with the team, too, so John Tortorella will have plenty of opportunity to shuffle the lineup.
The Colorado Avalanche, meanwhile, seem to have found their groove. Amazing what a stable netminder does for a contending team! Mackenzie Blackwood has been up and down in January, but a shutout against the St. Louis Blues on Friday should help him get his head right. Of course, the trade for Blackwood–and his subsequent contract extension–pale in comparison to another move the Avs made a couple weeks ago, but more on that below.
As far as today’s match goes, it does not favor the Flyers in the slightest: the Avs are a powerhouse team with some of the brightest stars in the league, and they fixed their goaltending. The Flyers are going to have to be especially careful to avoid taking penalties, because a power play made up of Nathan MacKinnon, Cale Makar, Martin Necas, Artturi Lehkonen and Jonathan Drouin is not a bear you want to poke. Also, scoring some goals might be nice–maybe try doing that, Flyers?
Storylines to Follow
Hello, new guy(s)!
We alluded to it earlier, but the Flyers have a quite a few players who could make their debuts with the team today: either Pelletier or Kuzmenko from the Flames (unlikely), or Gaucher coming up from the Phantoms. Gaucher signed an entry-level contract with the organization in December, and has 14 goals and 27 points in 44 games with the Phantoms. What’s most intriguing is that, at 24, he’s a guy that’s young enough to be part of the rebuild process.

As part of the roster shuffling, the Flyers sent down Adam Ginning in order to recall Emil Andrae–and Aleksei Kolosov is back, too. Andrae’s here because Egor Zamula’s been retroactively placed on injured reserve, and Kolosov is here because Fedotov looked a little off after a collision against the Isles. Whether Kolosov suits up for tonight remains to be seen, but it seems more than likely that Andrae will play. Since returning to the Phantoms, Andrae has played 15 games in Lehigh Valley and posted two goals and nine points–and that’s good enough to have earned the call up. Hopefully, he’s able to stick around for the remainder of the season, because the team desperately needs a guy who can move the puck like he does.
Another team that made a big midseason trade
No disrespect to the players involved in the Flyers-Flames deal, but the Mikko Rantanen for Martin Necas (and other players/picks) trade stands as the most consequential midseason move in decades; the only other one that comes to mind was when Joe Thornton was sent to San Jose in the midst of an MVP season. In the short term, the trade between Colorado and Carolina favors the Canes: they got the best player in the deal, plus Taylor Hall, and the Avs had to move on from a franchise cornerstone who was going to get that bag on his next contract.
Don’t sleep on Necas, though: in four games with his new team, he’s got a goal and five points. His torrid scoring pace from earlier in the season has slowed down considerably, but playing on a line with MacKinnon seems to agree with him so far. Where many GMs would be too scared to make such an impactful move during the regular season, the front offices of the Avalanche and Carolina were fearless–and maybe this is something that becomes more common in the NHL.

Kate Ritchie looked incredibly worse for wear on Wednesday during a series of events that saw her visiting a bottle shop and breaking down in tears at a park, after delaying her return to the airwaves.
The Nova 96.9 radio host, 46, appeared dishevelled throughout the afternoon as the incidents unfolded within just a few hours.
Earlier in the afternoon, Ritchie was all smiles while talking to a neighbour outside her home.
Dressed in a beige long-sleeved shirt and matching shoes, along with relaxed blue jeans and a brown baseball cap, she engaged in a casual conversation, before smiling and waving as she approached a red Hyundai i30 parked in her garage with a set of car keys in her hand.
Minutes later, Ritchie parked the Hyundai outside a BWS bottle shop located just a short distance from her home.
An eyewitness told Daily Mail Australia that the radio star entered the bottle shop before returning to her car and driving away to pick up her 10-year-old daughter, Mae, from her first day back at primary school.

‘I had just pulled up outside the bottle shop when I noticed Kate Ritchie was coming out,’ a local told Daily Mail Australia.
‘She was looking down at the ground as though she didn’t want anyone to notice her and she was wearing a baseball cap but it was unmistakably her – I’d recognise her anywhere.’
After collecting Mae, who she shares with ex-husband Stuart Webb, Ritchie drove to a nearby park where she sat on the grass to take a phone call.
Video obtained by Daily Mail Australia shows the former actress crying while on the phone, wiping tears from her eyes and burying her head in her hands.
A witness, who saw Ritchie get out of the car at the park, said the star ‘looked really distressed’.
‘She walked around a bit in the park while talking and then suddenly she sat down and started rocking her whole body back and forth and crying,’ they said.
‘It was really confronting – she looked so upset. When she turned around her eyes were all red and puffy and she looked absolutely devastated.’

The actress, who is set to star in the ABC’s The Role of a Lifetime, was then seen struggling to get up from the grass.
‘After the call ended, she tried to stand up but lost her balance and sort of fell over again,’ the bystander added.
‘When she finally managed to get to her feet, she started making another phone call… she looked much happier during that call.’
Handing her daughter her phone through the rear passenger window, Ritchie then walked around to the back of the vehicle – holding an arm out on the car as she got into the driver’s seat and drove home.
The incident has reportedly raised significant concerns within Nova, given Ritchie’s ongoing struggle with her personal demons.
Station insiders revealed they were surprised Ritchie was off work for what was supposed to be her first week back for the new ratings season alongside co-hosts Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald and Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli.

Chrissie Swan is currently filling in for Ritchie, with sources saying she had been put on standby in case the absentee presenter ended up taking an extended leave of absence from the show.
They said they were surprised to learn Ritchie, who gets paid more than $1million per year to front Nova’s flagship Sydney show, had been seen picking her daughter up from school as they thought she had been home looking after her because she was unwell.
The former Home and Away star’s absence will also come as a considerable concern to the station’s executives, who have done everything they can to help support her in the key role.
Given her enduring popularity with their audience, Ritchie has been the central ingredient to the show’s increasing success.
Although Nova’s breakfast team still trail in sixth place in the Sydney radio market with 7.4 per cent of the available audience, the program’s audience has been growing and had picked up 0.5 percentage points in last month’s rating survey.

‘Kate’s arguably the biggest star and the best reason to tune in, so to have her missing in action is a massive dilemma.
‘We just hope she’s alright and that she will be back soon.’
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Ritchie’s representatives and Nova Entertainment for comment.
Ritchie’s shock appearance comes after she was involved in a multi-vehicle collision last November.
She was reportedly behind the wheel of her black BMW X5 xDrive40i 2023 when the incident unfolded on Dudley Street, Randwick.
According to eyewitness accounts, Ritchie’s BMW collided with a parked Mitsubishi Pajero, forcefully pushing it off the road and into a parked Kia.
She hung up the phone and began texting someone while rocking back and forth on the grass
The actress was then seen struggling to get up from the grass
Ritchie appeared to stumble as she made her way back to the car
A witness said she took another phone call and appeared to be in better spirits
The owner of the Kia, who wished to remain anonymous, identified the Home and Away actress as the driver of the BMW and confirmed that Ritchie shared her details with him following the collision.
After the exchange, Kate expressed her need to leave promptly to pick up Mae.
He added that Kate said her personal assistant would follow up on the matter.
NSW Police did not attend the scene.
All three vehicles involved suffered substantial damage and were later towed away from the suburban street.
Months prior, in August, Ritchie was seen stumbling as she tried to get out of her chauffeur-driven car in Camperdown while attending an event in Sydney.
She appeared to lose her footing as she exited the vehicle, slipping back and landing on the floor.
Her driver was quick to assist getting her out of the car, holding her clutch and fetching her dropped keys from the ground, before he helped her back into the vehicle.

The radio star appeared to see the funny side of it all as she laughed with her driver while clinging to her phone.
However, her night appeared to end early as she never attended the event, simply getting back into the car before being driven back home.
Ritchie has been candid about her struggles in the past after she checked into private Sydney rehab centre to get help for ‘alcohol dependency’ back in 2022.
At the time, she had stepped down from her role on Nova’s drive show, Kate, Tim and Joel, after being charged with drink-driving just weeks earlier.
Ritchie returned a reading of 0.06 – just over the legal limit – when she was stopped by police for a random breath test in her station wagon at Pagewood at 2.45pm on August 22.
She was fined $600, suspended from driving for three months, and apologised on Instagram.

JD Vance visiting Virginia on Monday in first official trip as vice president
FIRST ON FOX: JD Vance is “fulfilling his promise” to American voters as he makes his first trip as vice president to Damascus, Virginia, on Monday to visit areas affected by Hurricane Helene in late September.
It will be Vance’s second trip to Damascus since the hurricane swept across the southeast on Sept. 27, destroying parts of Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida and leaving more than 200 people dead.
“Vice President Vance visited with Damascus residents in October after the town was ravaged by Hurricane Helene,” a spokesperson for the vice president told Fox News Digital. “He pledged to be back, and now he’s fulfilling his promise. The first week of this administration has made it clear that President Trump and Vice President Vance keep their word.”
Vance’s trip comes just days after President Donald Trump, first lady Melania Trump and other politicians visited Asheville, Fletcher and Swannanoa, North Carolina, on Jan. 24, marking the now-president’s second trip to those areas since September.

Trump spoke in all three towns but allowed a group of locals who lost everything in Helene to share their own personal stories during his stop in Swannanoa. Some locals have taken issue with the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) handling of the disaster, saying it has too much red tape for those in need of immediate assistance to get the help they need, whether it be housing, money or both.
“I’ll also be signing an executive order to begin the process of fundamentally reforming and overhauling FEMA or maybe getting rid of FEMA,” Trump told reporters in North Carolina on Friday morning. “I think, frankly, FEMA is not good.”

“We’re going to fix it, and we’re going to fix it as fast as you can,” Trump said. “It’s a massive amount of damage. FEMA has really let us down, let the country down. And I don’t know if that’s [former President Joe] Biden’s fault or whose fault it is, but we’re going to take over. We’re going to do a good job.”

5-star prospect visiting South Carolina women’s basketball for top 5 matchup against LSU
South Carolina women’s basketball coach Dawn Staley has some big-time irons in the class of 2026 recruiting fire. One of them is 5-star power forward Oliviyah Edwards from Elite Sports Academy in Tacoma, Washington.
As GamecockCentral readers know already, Edwards is on campus this weekend for an unofficial visit. South Carolina was scheduled to take on LSU on Thursday night, but the poor weather moved the game to Friday.
The Gamecocks made Edwards’ top 10 list last summer and appear to be a real contender in her recruitment. The Tennessee Lady Volunteers, LSU Tigers, North Carolina Tar Heels, Duke Blue Devils, Florida Gators, Florida State Seminoles, Southern Cal Trojans, Washington Huskies, and Notre Dame Fighting Irish all are involved in courting the 5-star recruit as competition to South Carolina.

As a prospect, Edwards is a dynamic and explosive athlete. She shares a lot of traits with current South Carolina women’s basketball forward Ashlyn Watkins. Listed at 6’3″, she has a much longer wingspan and is a much more proficient leaper than most others in the women’s game. That leaping ability translates to Edwards being a comfortable dunker and a big-time rebounder.
However, she is becoming a more skilled player on offense, as well. Her jumper is improving, and her ballhandling is good enough that she can utilize her unmatched athleticism to win off the bounce when matched up against slower post players away from the basket.
On the other end of the court, she can guard virtually any type of opposing player. Edwards’ quick feet let her do a better job chasing smaller guards than most high school bigs. Her length also allows her to guard even the biggest players on other teams. She’s a ridiculous shot-blocker and manages to get her hands on seemingly every loosely-dribbled ball or lazy pass that comes near her.

In the latest On3 player rankings update, Edwards is the No. 6 overall national prospect. She also is the No. 2 power forward and the No. 1 player from the state of Washington.
Edwards plans to take her official visits (including one to South Carolina) at a later date. According to Edwards, herself, she will announce her college choice following those official visits. That should come before her senior season begins next November.
Edwards should be on hand for this weekend’s big-time matchup against LSU. The Gamecocks and Tigers will tip off at 5:00 p.m. on Friday night at Colonial Life Arena. ESPN will broadcast the game, and the ESPN app will make it available for streaming. Because of the weather-mandated changes, College GameDay will not be part of the broadcast as originally scheduled.

José Andrés Praises Meghan Markle, Prince Harry for Visiting L.A. Fire Victims
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry “show up” when it matters, regardless of the cameras or criticism they may face as a result, according to their friend José Andrés.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex — who live in Montecito, Calif., about 90 miles north of the L.A. area — have quietly aided with wildfire relief efforts as blazes tear across Southern California, donating essential supplies, connecting with affected families and serving meals with World Central Kitchen (WCK).
Andrés is “just glad that they show up like so many others,” he told PEOPLE during the Cayman Cookout at the Ritz Carlton, Grand Cayman, where he hosted a number of events, including a live taping of his podcast, Longer Tables.
“I mean, listen, I consider them friends,” the WCK founder and restaurateur, 55, says of the pair, who have longstanding ties to his organization. “I know they are in the spotlight — not just in America, but in Britain — and what I can tell you from what I know is that they don’t have to, but they decide to do it.”

On Jan. 10, Harry, 40, and Meghan, 43, visited the WCK location in Pasadena to help distribute food and supplies to victims of the Eaton Fire, aid that The Bazaar and Zaytinya owner called “amazing.”
“Probably, you feel like it’s better that nobody does anything, because nobody criticizes you for showing up — but the amazing thing is that they show up,” Andrés says. “The hugs I saw [them] give to the people that recognize them and even the people that don’t recognize them, it’s people that just want somebody to listen to them, and give them a hug.”
Adds the chef: “I’m just glad that they show up like so many others.”

Like another one of his famous friends who assisted WCK in its fire relief efforts in the L.A. area, Jennifer Garner, Meghan and Harry were there to help, not for media attention, Andrés explains.
“The joy they bring to the people, the joy they bring to the first responders, or the people that lost everything… and to see those celebrities giving hugs and crying with the people when some of those celebrities lost their homes — they could be home, but they are there,” he tells PEOPLE. “And I think anybody that does anything, celebrity or not, only they will always forever get my applause and my recognition.”
Some of the individuals assisting WCK and other relief efforts, he continues, “may be celebrities, but in those moments they are one more person willing to do absolutely anything for anybody.”
“So, for everybody that was able to show up even for an hour, for me, they’re amazing people, because they don’t have to because some of them, they are suffering the consequences, maybe, of the fire,” he says. “But there they are and they don’t do it where there are cameras, they’re doing it where there is nobody.”

Speaking about the aid Meghan and Harry “anonymously” provided to the victims of the wildfires, as well as first responders and others affected, Pasadena Mayor Victor Gordo told local news outlet FOX 11 that the couple “really buoyed the spirits of the first responders.”
“They want to be as helpful as they can be … we visited with some of the affected families in some of the burned-out areas in Pasadena and Altadena,” Gordo continued. “They took the time to meet the people that are affected and spent time. They’re just very caring people who are concerned for their friends and neighbors.”

In the wake of the wildfires, Meghan, who was born and raised in L.A., also postponed the release of her new Netflix series With Love, Meghan, a decision that was widely met with support. In response to those who criticized or questioned her motives, however, an industry insider revealed that the choice was an “easy” one, driven by her genuine concern for her hometown and those impacted by the fires.
“Delaying the release of With Love, Meghan was likely an easy decision for her. I don’t think she could imagine putting out a show centered on joy and hosting when so many people in her home state no longer have homes to host people in,” the insider said. “I think it’s sad that critics are saying she’s only doing this to avoid the fires overshadowing her show. We’re all human, and we’re dealing with a catastrophe.”

Clemson transfer defensive lineman Tre Williams is visiting Michigan on Friday, according to On3’s EJ Holland. The Michigan Wolverines are predicted to land Williams, according to On3’s EJ Holland. On3’s Pete Nakos also reported on Friday that the Wolverines are currently in the lead for Williams’ services.
Williams played high school football at St. John’s (Washington, DC), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 107 overall recruit in the 2020 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Over the course of his five seasons with the Tigers, Williams has amassed 37 total tackles and 4.0 sacks. Wherever he ends up in 2025, he’ll be hoping to shatter his previous numbers, and blossom into the player he’s always seemed destined to become.
As a recruit, Williams held offers from a number of programs, including Georgia, Alabama, LSU and Ohio State. It remains to be seen if any of those big brands decide to revisit the defensive lineman after he left Clemson following the 2024 campaign.
Clemson finished with a 10-4 overall record after they lost to the Texas Longhorns in the 2024-2025 College Football Playoffs. The Tigers lost 38-24 in the first round. ‘Breaking Bad’ house on sale for $4M with owner Joanne Quintana sick of visiting fans
Too many knockers at this door.
The “Breaking Bad” house has hit the market for a cool $4 million — because the current owner is fed up with fans of the show gawking at her property.
The ranch-style home in Albuquerque, New Mexico, was the TV domicile of Walter White, played by Bryan Cranston, his wife Skylar, and their son Walt Jr. in the hit show “Breaking Bad,” which aired from 2006 to 2018.

At first the filming was a blessing — a “once in a lifetime thing” that allowed her and her family to witness “the magic of Hollywood,” which included interacting with the entire cast and crew, Quintana told local outlet KOB.
She would even bake cookies for all of the workers and actors for every shoot — but told KOB that Cranston was only able to indulge in one on the last day because his character was suffering from cancer and needed to appear thin.
But that stardust in her eyes soon turned to dirt — as fans of the show started to make pilgrimages to her quiet block.

“Around 4:30 in the morning, the doorbell rang, my mom got up and opened the door, and it was a package,” Quintana recalled of one occasion.
The package was addressed to “Walter White” and the family was so concerned they called the bomb squad.
They soon put up a fence — but that did not deter television nerds from driving by and gawking.
“We average 300 cars a day. Come Ballon Fiesta, hundreds of thousands come for balloons. Balloons go up, they come down. Where do they come? Here,” an exasperated Quintana told KOB.

The salty homeowner yelled “Get out, you Mexican trash,” at a couple who were filming the house while driving by, in a clip posted to TikTok in 2023, the Daily Mail reported at the time.
Some particularly committed Heisenberg fans even tossed full pizza pies on the roof of the house’s garage in an homage to a classic scene from the show.
Quintana’s frustration with the looky-loos has gotten the better of her in the past. KOB 4 Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan reprimanded fans for the unsavory meme.
“There is nothing original, or funny, or cool, about throwing a pizza on this lady’s roof,” he said on the “Better Call Saul” podcast back in 2022.
“She is the sweetest lady in the world, and if you are getting on her nerves you are doing something seriously f**king wrong,” he emphasized.
Quintana is asking $4 million for the home. The median price in the Albuquerque area is $400,000, according to the Associated Press.

Pacers close out calendar in clash with visiting Bucks
Coming off back-to-back games against the reigning champion Boston Celtics, the Indiana Pacers welcome in the visiting Milwaukee Bucks for an afternoon battle on New Year’s Eve.
After Boston dominated the front end 142-105, Indiana bounced back and won 123-114 at TD Garden on Sunday night.
Tyrese Haliburton led the way with 31 points and seven assists and was one of eight Pacers who scored at least eight points in the contest.
“We knew we were going to respond. We know who we are. It’s a good win for us,” Haliburton said. “I just want to take what the defense gives me. Everyone is on me to get downhill more, shoot more … every game is about learning, growing and getting better.”
Milwaukee comes in off back-to-back losses, both without Giannis Antetokounmpo on the floor. After blowing a 13-point lead to Brooklyn on Thursday, they lost 116-11 to Chicago on Saturday night.
Damian Lillard returned from injury and led Milwaukee with 29 points and 12 assists. Eighteen of those points came in the second half, but Bucks coach Doc Rivers regretted not getting him more chances at the end of the game.
“I got to do a better job of making sure Dame gets the ball in his hands down the stretch of the game,” Rivers said. “We have to have an understanding to get it to him and I just have to get it to him and live with it.”
Antetokounmpo leads the NBA with 32.7 points per game and leads the Bucks with 11.6 rebounds. Lillard leads with 7.7 assists per night.
Pascal Siakam leads Indiana with 19.8 points per game, with six other Pacers averaging double figures. Siakam also leads with 7.2 rebounds while Haliburton averages 8.7 assists (fifth in NBA) and Myles Turner averages 2.1 blocks (third in NBA).
The question for this game will be if Antetokounmpo, who has missed the last few games with an illness that made its rounds in the Bucks’ locker room, will be able to go.
Milwaukee is mostly over the illness as a team, but rookie AJ Johnson also sat out against Chicago due to the illness. Rivers also said Khris Middleton is on a minutes’ restriction after his recent return from injury and illness.
On the Pacers’ side, Obi Toppin is considered day-to-day with an ankle injury and missed Sunday’s game. Aaron Nesmith (ankle), Isaiah Jackson (Achilles) and James Wiseman (Achilles) remain out as well.
The Bucks took the first matchup between these teams 129-117 at home on Nov. 22. Antetokounmpo led Milwaukee with 37 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds and the Bucks shot 47.2 percent from deep.
This series was well-documented a year ago when Indiana won four of the five matchups against Milwaukee, with an extra meeting thanks to the NBA Cup semifinals.
In the Bucks’ lone win, Antetokounmpo scored a franchise-record 64 points, which led to a dust-up in the locker room with some confusion over who took the game ball.

Lisa Kudrow Surprises Fans Visiting ‘Friends’ Couch
Lisa Kudrow made a stop by the “Friends” couch on the Warner Bros. backlot in Burbank to surprise fans and playfully ward off her new co-star Ray Romano from the iconic fountainside furniture fixing.
In an Instagram post from Kudrow and her “No Good Deed” creator Liz Feldman, Romano is seen approaching the “Friends” couch, saying, “Everybody forgets that ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ filmed on Warner Bros. too. So I just want to make sure they remember.”
“It’s not all about ‘Friends.’ We were two stages down. You gotta go visit our stage,” Romano tells the group of tourists before posing for photos with them.
“Go sit on your own show’s couch!” Kudrow shouts at Romano, joining the gathering and drawing a more awestruck response from the group. “Now he just always comes to this couch because he wants more attention.”
The cameos were part of a promotion for Kudrow and Romano’s new show “No Good Deed,” a dark comedy from “Dead to Me” creator Feldman. The actors star as a couple that put their Los Angeles villa on the real estate market and work to mask the abode’s dark secrets to a litany of potential buyers. All eight episodes premiered on Netflix on Dec. 12.
In Variety’s review of “No Good Deed,” chief TV critic Alison Herman wrote that the series “features such a solid setup and such a stacked cast that its overreliance on twists can be counterproductive.”
“I’ll just say that I always had a Season 2 in mind, and I do think that a show like this has legs if it is done in a clever way,” Feldman told Variety in an interview covering the season finale. “I’m very excited to sit down and talk to Netflix about what those plans are. They know a little bit, but I do think that this show has some life left to live, and I really hope that we get to see it through.”
Lisa Kudrow, best known for her role as Phoebe Buffay on the beloved sitcom Friends, recently surprised fans visiting the iconic orange couch from the show.The couch, which is located at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour in Hollywood, has become a popular tourist attraction for Friends fans who want to sit where Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Joey, and Phoebe once did.
Kudrow decided to make a surprise visit to the couch, much to the delight of the fans who were there. She took photos with fans, signed autographs, and even reenacted some classic Phoebe Buffay moments.
Fans were thrilled to meet their favorite quirky character in person and couldn’t believe their luck in getting to see Lisa Kudrow up close and personal.
It just goes to show that even years after Friends ended, the love for the show and its cast is still going strong. And who knows, maybe one day you’ll be the lucky fan who gets to meet one of the Friends stars in person too!
