ForbesNYT ‘Strands’ Hints And Answers For Tuesday, January 21

Hey, folks! Today’s NYT Strands hints, spangram and answers for Wednesday, January 22 are coming right up.

    How To Play Strands

The New York Times’ Strands puzzle is a play on the classic word search. It’s available on the NYT website and in the NYT Games app alongside the likes of Wordle and Connections (which we also cover in daily guides at Forbes Gaming).

There’s a new game of Strands to play every day. The game will present you with a six by eight grid of letters. The aim is to find a group of words that have something in common, and you’ll get a clue as to what that theme is. When you find a theme word, it will remain highlighted in blue.

You’ll also need to find a special word called a spangram. This tells you what the words have in common. The spangram links at least two sides of the board, but it may not start or end there. While the theme words will not be a proper name, the spangram can be a proper name. When you find the spangram, it will remain highlighted in yellow.

Every letter is used once in one of the theme words and spangram. You can connect letters vertically, horizontally and diagonally, and it’s possible to switch directions in the middle of a word. If you’re playing on a touchscreen, double tap the last letter to submit your guess.

If you find three valid words of at least four letters that are not part of the theme, you’ll unlock the Hint button. Clicking this will highlight the letters that make up one of the theme words.

Be warned: You’ll need to be on your toes. Sometimes you’ll need to fill the missing word(s) in a phrase. On other days, the game may revolve around synonyms or homophones. The difficulty will vary from day to day, and the puzzle creators will try to surprise you sometimes.

    What Is Today’s Strands Hint?

There are seven theme words to find today, including the spangram.

What Are Today’s NYT Strands Hints?

Spoiler alert! Don’t scroll any further down the page until you’re ready to find out today’s Strands hints.

Here are the first two letters of every theme word in today’s puzzle. They’re ordered from left to right, then top to bottom by any letter of the word appearing for the first time:

What Are Today’s NYT Strands Answers?

Before I reveal the other the full word list, I’ll first tell you the spangram and show you where that is on the grid.

This is your final spoiler warning!

    Today’s Strands spangram is…

    ANIMATION

Here’s where you’ll find it on the grid…

Here’s what the completed grid looks like…

Not much in the way of ambiguity for today’s theme. They were all Pixar movies. It didn’t take me long at all to start knocking these out, but it did take me a little time to figure out the spangram.

I used no hints and the spangram was the fifth theme word I found.

West Virginia school closures extend into Wednesday as temperatures plummet

As the bitter cold grips the state of West Virginia, school closures have been extended into Wednesday as temperatures continue to plummet. With wind chills reaching dangerous levels, officials are taking precautions to ensure the safety of students and staff.

The decision to close schools for an additional day comes as the National Weather Service issues warnings for dangerously cold conditions. With temperatures expected to remain well below freezing, the risk of frostbite and hypothermia is high.

Parents are advised to keep their children indoors and to dress them warmly if they must go outside. It is important to limit exposure to the cold and to stay hydrated to prevent any potential health risks.

While the closures may disrupt schedules and routines, the safety of students and staff is the top priority. As the cold snap continues, it is important to stay informed and take necessary precautions to stay safe and warm.

Stay tuned for updates on school closures and weather conditions in West Virginia. Stay warm and stay safe!

  • LIVE: Georgia schools closing Wednesday due to winter storm | Full list

School districts across metro Atlanta and South Georgia are continuing to cancel and delay school. Announcements have already been made for Wednesday.

RELATED: Georgia winter weather | Winter Storm Warning issued for metro Atlanta

How cold does it have to be to cancel school?

    By the numbers:

According to Atlanta Public Schools, the following guidelines are used to determine when it becomes too cold to operate in a normal capacity:

    • Over 60 degrees: No limitations
    • Below 60 degrees: A jacket and/or long sleeves recommended
    • Below 50 degrees: A coat and long pants are recommended
    • Below 40 degrees: Gloves and hats, along with the previously mentioned items
    • Below 35 degrees: Indoor recess and PE classes

Children with health conditions, like asthma, may receive special accommodations during cold weather.

Superintendents also take the wind chill and opportunity for frostbite into consideration when deciding whether to cancel school. Unfortunately, there’s no “magic number” on the thermostat to hit.

  • Wednesday Weather – Cold front bringing rain and chance of thunderstorms | Local

HONOLULU (Island News) — A cold front is moving through the state today, bringing clouds and showers, especially to Kauai this morning.

A cold front is bringing clouds and showers down the island chain today, with the chance of thunderstorms.

Some areas may see heavier rain, with rates reaching 1 to 2 inches per hour. The front will move quickly through Kauai and Oahu, weakening as it reaches Maui and the Big Island later today. Although flooding risks are low, gusty northwest winds behind the front could be a concern, especially in the western parts of the state this morning. Drier air will follow, lowering humidity and bringing clearer skies.

By Thursday, cooler and drier weather will affect the western islands, while moisture lingers on the Big Island. There’s a slight chance of thunderstorms over the Big Island in the afternoon, along with a possibility of winter-like conditions at the summits.

Friday will bring stronger easterly winds and increased chances of rain, especially on windward and mauka (mountain) areas, as moisture from the dissipating front and the eastern Pacific moves through. Saturday into Sunday, winds will weaken and a cold front could bring rain and possibly thunderstorms, though forecasts are uncertain.

A Small Craft Advisory is in effect until Thursday evening for several coastal areas and surf will be high along north-facing shores through Friday. Another northwest swell is expected next Monday, but no significant swells are anticipated beyond that.

    Hey everyone,

It looks like we have a cold front moving in today, bringing with it some much-needed rain and a chance of thunderstorms. So be sure to grab your umbrellas and raincoats before heading out the door!

The temperature is expected to drop significantly, with highs only reaching the mid-50s. So you may want to bundle up and dress warmly.

The rain is expected to start in the late morning and continue into the evening, so be prepared for wet conditions throughout the day. And keep an eye out for any potential lightning strikes if thunderstorms do develop.

Stay safe and dry out there, and enjoy the cool, rainy weather!

  • FanDuel Lineup Plays and Strategy for Wednesday, January 22

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

We have a big slate on tap Wednesday night, and although the injury report is relatively light and therefore doesn’t make a big ripple in the player pool, there are some particularly big names whose status will bear monitoring.

    Slate Overview

For the latest spreads and over-unders, visit RotoWire’s NBA Odds page. There, you can also find player props, futures, picks articles and sportsbook bonus codes

Listed spreads/totals are from FanDuel Sportsbook and current as of Wednesday, 1/22 @ 11:30 a.m. ET:

Phoenix Suns (-11.5) at Brooklyn Nets (O/U: 218.0)

Detroit Pistons at Atlanta Hawks (-2.5) (O/U: 234.5)

Minnesota Timberwolves (-3) at Dallas Mavericks (O/U: 216.0)

Cleveland Cavaliers (-3) at Houston Rockets (O/U: 229.5)

Milwaukee Bucks at New Orleans Pelicans — POSTPONED

Charlotte Hornets at Memphis Grizzlies (-12) (O/U: 240.5)

Utah Jazz at Oklahoma City Thunder (-17) (O/U: 227.5)

Golden State Warriors at Sacramento Kings (-7) (O/U: 230.0)

Boston Celtics (-11) at Los Angeles Clippers (O/U: 218.5)

The betting landscape for Wednesday’s slate is a bit of a study in extremes, as there are four double-digit favorites, including the Thunder with a massive 17-point projected advantage over the Jazz. However, that still leaves us with five games that could turn out to be very competitive, with the Pistons-Hawks and Cavaliers-Rockets matchups especially standing out since they also have large projected totals.

On that front, the picture is pretty optimistic, considering five games have totals north of 227 points, and only two of those are attached to games that have expansive spreads.

    Injury Situations to Monitor

For all the latest updates, visit RotoWire’s NBA Injury News page and our comprehensive NBA Injury Report.

    James Harden, LAC (groin): QUESTIONABLE

If Harden can’t play, Norman Powell will be the likeliest biggest beneficiary in terms of increased usage if he can play through his questionable tag, while Kevin Porter is likely to draw a start at point guard.

    Jalen Williams, NOP (hip): QUESTIONABLE

If Williams doesn’t play, Isaiah Joe could remain on the first unit and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will likely benefit the most from a usage standpoint.

    Jalen Johnson, ATL (shoulder): QUESTIONABLE

If Johnson sits out, any of David Roddy, De’Andre Hunter or Vit Krejci could draw the start at power forward.

    Other notable injuries:

    Luka Doncic, DAL (calf): OUT

    Evan Mobley, CLE (calf): OUT

    Kawhi Leonard, LAC (knee): OUT

    Ivica Zubac, LAC (eye): OUT

    Brandon Miller, CHA (wrist): OUT

    Cam Thomas, BKN (hamstring): OUT

    Isaiah Hartenstein, OKC (calf): OUT

    Draymond Green, GSW (calf): OUT

    Norman Powell, LAC (back): QUESTIONABLE

    Lauri Markkanen, UTA (back): QUESTIONABLE

    John Collins, UTA (hip): QUESTIONABLE

    Bradley Beal, PHO (ankle): QUESTIONABLE

    Trae Young, ATL (Achilles): PROBABLE

    Elite Players

We have five players with five-figure salaries on Wednesday’s slate – Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ($11,600), Domantas Sabonis ($10,500), Jayson Tatum ($10,300), LaMelo Ball ($10,200) and Cade Cunningham ($10,000).

SGA could take the floor without Jalen Williams once again and has scored over 54 FD points in three straight, including 58.6 against the Nets on Monday without Williams available. However, OKC is a massive 17-point favorite, which implies Gilgeous-Alexander could see less than a full workload.

Sabonis has at least 50 FD points in four of the last six games and is facing a Warriors team he put up 48.1 FD points against across only 29 minutes on Jan. 5.

Tatum has a pair of tallies of over 50 FD points in his last five games alone, and he’ll face a Clippers team that could potentially be without James Harden and Norman Powell in addition to Ivica Zubac.

Ball has scored between 43.7 and 65.5 FD points in five consecutive games and draws a favorable matchup against the Grizzlies.

Cunningham has flashed a floor of 45 FD points in five of his last six games and will be a central figure in what could be one of the most DFS-friendly game environments of the night against the Hawks.

    Expected Chalk

    Other likely chalk plays include:

    Kevin Durant, PHO ($9,600)

Durant scored 64.9 FD points two games ago and has a very favorable matchup against the Nets, which should keep him very popular.

    Trae Young, ATL ($9,400)

Young will be in what should be a highly favorable game environment for DFS production and has exceeded 56 FD points in three of his last five games, factors that should lock in a high roster rate at his salary.

    Alperen Sengun, HOU ($9,200)

Sengun saw a dip to 27.1 FD points in his most recent game after six straight games with more than 40 FD points, but he should remain very popular in what projects to be a highly competitive game against the Cavaliers.

    Anthony Edwards, MIN ($9,200)

Edwards has scored between 41.6 and 63.7 FD points in four of the last five games and has at least 32 actual points in three of those contests.

    Donovan Mitchell, CLE ($8,900)

Mitchell has scored 49.5 to 56.1 FD points in three of the last four games and will be a key figure in what could be one of the most competitive games of the night.

    Key Values

Jalen Duren, DET at ATL ($6,300)

Duren is coming off having scored a season-high 52.3 FD points against the Rockets on Monday, a game that featured his third straight double-double and four steals. The talented big man is enjoying a stellar January overall, averaging 11.9 points, 11.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.3 blocks and 33.8 FD points across 11 games despite playing a modest 25.9 minutes per contest. The Pistons-Hawks game has a narrow spread and high projected total as well, and Atlanta checks in ranked No. 21 in offensive efficiency rating allowed to centers (33.8) while also allowing 56.3 FD points per contest to the position. The Hawks are also giving up the fifth-most points in the paint per game in the last three (53.3), an area of the floor where 82.5 percent of Duren’s scoring originates from.

Naz Reid, MIN at DAL ($5,900)

Reid has had some ups and downs this season, but he enters Wednesday on an extended stretch of impressive production that dates back to New Year’s Eve. The veteran big man has averaged 31.6 FD points in his last 12 games, getting to that figure via 17.4 points (on 52.8 percent shooting, including 52.9 percent from distance), 6.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 blocks across 27.3 minutes per contest. Reid just scored a season-high 29 points against the Grizzlies on Monday, and he’s eclipsed 30 FD points in six of his last seven games. He has a tally of 25.8 FD points across 26 minutes versus the Mavs this season, and Dallas ranks No. 20 in offensive efficiency rating allowed to centers (33.7) while allowing 56 FD points per game to the position.

Jaylin Williams, OKC vs. UTA ($5,400)

Williams will continue filling in for Isaiah Hartenstein (calf) on Wednesday, and the 2022 second-round pick will check in having scored 31.5 and 36.1 FD points in his last two games, with both those being starts. Williams has eclipsed 20 FD points in five games overall this season (three times off the bench), and his three efforts of greater than 31 FD points have all come within the last 10 days. The Jazz make for a great target as well, considering Utah is allowing a Western Conference-high 36.5 offensive efficiency rating and 60.2 FD points per game to centers.

ALSO CONSIDER: Tari Eason, HOU vs. CLE ($5,700); Jaden McDaniels, MIN at DAL ($5,400); Moses Moody, GSW at SAC ($4,200)

Are you ready to dominate your FanDuel contests on Wednesday, January 22? Look no further than these top lineup plays and strategies to help you secure that winning lineup!

    1. Target high-scoring games: Look for matchups with high over/under totals, as these games typically feature plenty of scoring opportunities for fantasy players. Keep an eye on teams with fast-paced offenses and weak defenses for maximum fantasy production.

    2. Utilize value plays: Identify players who are priced lower than their expected production value. This will allow you to fit in more high-priced studs while still maintaining a competitive lineup. Look for players who are seeing increased minutes or opportunities due to injuries or lineup changes.

    3. Mix in contrarian plays: Differentiate your lineup by selecting players who may be lower-owned but have the potential for a big game. This can help you gain an edge over the competition and increase your chances of finishing in the money.

    4. Monitor injury news: Stay up to date on the latest injury updates and lineup changes leading up to lock. This will help you adjust your lineup accordingly and take advantage of any value that may open up due to injuries.

With these lineup plays and strategies in mind, you’ll be well-equipped to build a winning FanDFuel lineup for Wednesday, January 22. Good luck!

On top of all that, here at FanDuel Research, we’ll come at you each day with this NBA DFS primer, which breaks down some of the day’s top plays at each position.

Let’s dive into today’s main slate on FanDuel.

Betting lines via the NBA odds at FanDuel Sportsbook. Projections and betting odds may change after this article is published.

    NBA DFS Picks for Today

    Guards

    Top Priorities

LaMelo Ball ($10,200) — LaMelo Ball has been shouldering more in the scoring department this season, producing a career-best 29.3 PPG en route to 48.4 FanDuel points (FDPs) per game. Wednesday’s showdown between the Charlotte Hornets and Memphis Grizzlies carries the highest total on the slate, and Ball should be able to accrue more counting stats with Memphis operating at the fastest pace in the league.

Cade Cunningham ($10,000) — Even though Cade Cunningham has gone four straight games scoring fewer than 50 FDPs, he’ll be involved in a fantastic DFS environment versus the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday. Besides the Hawks coughing up the 8th-most FDPs per game to PGs (49.7), they are 24th in assist rate allowed (65.5%), 23rd in steal rate allowed (9.1%), and 29th in three-point percentage allowed (37.7%) while playing at the 3rd-fastest pace.

Nick Smith Jr. ($4,100) — With Brandon Miller sidelined for the Hornets due to a wrist injury, Nick Smith Jr. has started in back-to-back games, resulting in 21-plus FDPs in both contests. Smith should get a heavy dose of minutes regardless of the score in Wednesday’s clash against the Grizzlies, and our projections have him as the fifth-best point-per-dollar play (5.5x value) on the slate.

    Others to Consider

Stephen Curry ($8,600) — There is some concern that the Golden State Warriors could experience another blowout loss (they’ve lost by 16-plus points in three of their last five losses), but if they are going to keep things close on Wednesday, it’ll be because of Stephen Curry. Along with the Warriors not having much offensive firepower right now outside of Curry, the Kings are 27th in three-point rate allowed (43.9%) and 25th in three-point percentage allowed (37.2%).

Cason Wallace ($5,200) — The Oklahoma City Thunder are understandably massive favorites over the Utah Jazz on Wednesday, but there’s still reason to like Cason Wallace in this matchup. Wallace has generated 26-plus FDPs in four of his last starts — with multiple steals in 10 of his last 15 outings — and the Jazz just so happen to rank dead last in steal rate allowed (9.8%).

    Wings

    Top Priorities

Anthony Edwards ($9,200) — There currently isn’t a high-salary wing player that is standing out, making Anthony Edwards the most enticing wing option at a salary of $9,000 or above. Edwards has shown the upside of 56-plus FDPs in 4 of his last 10 contests, and the Minnesota Timberwolves are heavily relying on the All-NBA guard to dominate on the offensive end of the court right now as he’s averaging 21.4 field goal attempts per game in January.

Miles Bridges ($7,400) — If the Hornets can keep things competitive against the Grizzlies, then Miles Bridges can put together a notable performance versus a Memphis team that is allowing the eighth-most FDPs per game to PFs (48.6). Bridges has posted 20-plus real-life points in seven of his last eight games, so the hope is that he can accumulate enough of the other stats in the box score to return value in a potentially fast-paced matchup.

Tobias Harris ($6,200) — Tobias Harris is always a volatile play in DFS, but the veteran forward should benefit from facing a fast-paced Hawks squad that is 28th in effective field-goal percentage allowed (55.8%) while ceding the 2nd-most FDPs per game to PFs (50.1). Our projections currently have Harris listed as the fourth-best point-per-dollar play (5.6x value) on the slate.

    Others to Consider

Andrew Wiggins ($6,500) — Once again, the Warriors don’t have many players to turn to for scoring production, and Andrew Wiggins could go overlooked after putting up only 12.6 FDPs in his most recent start. Before his recent dud, Wiggins had 36-plus FDPs in back-to-back games, and the Kings are permitting the fifth-most FDPs per game to PFs (49.8) over their last 15 contests.

Vit Krejci ($4,600) — Vit Krejci has made seven consecutive starts for the Hawks, which has led to him notching 20-plus FDPs in six of those outings. Besides Wednesday’s Hawks-Pistons clash boasting a high total and a narrow spread, Detroit is 26th in three-point percentage allowed (37.6%) and 28th in steal rate allowed (9.7%).

    Bigs

    Top Priorities

Mark Williams ($8,000) — While I also like Jaren Jackson Jr. in the Hornets-Grizzlies matchup, Mark Williams has a similar ceiling outcome at a salary that is $500 lower as he’s gone for 40-plus FDPs in each of his last four starts. Over their last 15 games, Memphis is giving up the third-most FDPs per game to Cs (61.2) while sitting at 22nd in block rate allowed (10.6%).

Onyeka Okongwu ($6,500) — Onyeka Okongwu made his first start of the season in Atlanta’s last game, and the versatile big man has now tallied 32-plus FDPs in five of his last six appearances. Assuming Okongwu remains in the starting lineup or continues to get around 28-ish minutes, he remains a fantastic play against the Pistons — especially if Jalen Johnson is ruled out for the Hawks.

Jalen Duren ($6,300) — On the other side of the Hawks-Pistons matchup, Jalen Duren has been putting together notable performances recently, tallying 31-plus FDPs in five of his last eight contests. Aside from Atlanta permitting the 12th-most FDPs per game to Cs (56.3), our projections have Duren as one of eight players who is expected to record a double-double on Wednesday.

    Others to Consider

Jaylin Williams ($5,400) — In the absence of Isaiah Hartenstein, Jaylin Williams has made three straight starts for the Thunder, scoring 31-plus FDPs in back-to-back games. Williams couldn’t ask for a much better matchup on Wednesday with the Jazz ranking 28th in rim field-goal percentage allowed (66.3%) and 30th in block rate allowed (13.4%) while ceding the 2nd-most FDPs per game to Cs (60.2).

Mo Bamba ($3,900) — There’s plenty of risk in playing Mohamed Bamba against the Boston Celtics on Wednesday as the Los Angeles Clippers could elect to play small with Ivica Zubac ruled out due to an eye injury. At the same time, Bamba will likely make a start for the second straight game, and there’s also a scenario where he’s needed to combat the size of Kristaps Porzingis.

Looking to dominate your NBA DFS lineups for Wednesday, January 22nd, 2025? Look no further, as we have some top picks to help you build a winning lineup.

    1. Luka Doncic, PG, Dallas Mavericks – Doncic has been on fire recently, averaging over 30 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists in his last three games. He has a favorable matchup against the struggling Golden State Warriors and should put up big numbers.

    2. Giannis Antetokounmpo, SF/PF, Milwaukee Bucks – Giannis is always a solid play, as he can fill up the stat sheet in multiple categories. He faces the Cleveland Cavaliers, who have struggled defensively this season, making him a great option.

    3. De’Aaron Fox, PG, Sacramento Kings – Fox has been playing well as of late, averaging over 20 points and 7 assists in his last five games. He has a good matchup against the Miami Heat and should continue his strong play.

    4. Julius Randle, PF, New York Knicks – Randle has been a consistent fantasy producer this season, averaging over 20 points and 10 rebounds per game. He faces the Atlanta Hawks, who have struggled defensively, making him a great play.

    5. Christian Wood, PF/C, Houston Rockets – Wood has been a bright spot for the struggling Rockets, averaging over 20 points and 10 rebounds per game. He faces the Phoenix Suns, who have been vulnerable in the frontcourt, making him a solid option.

Make sure to consider these picks when building your NBA DFS lineup for Wednesday night’s action. Good luck!

  • Kevon Looney Injury: Early exit Wednesday

Looney has been ruled out for the remainder of Wednesday’s game against Sacramento due to illness, Danny Emerman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Looney started Wednesday’s game but was replaced by Trayce Jackson-Davis to open the second half. Looney finishes the contest scoreless on three field goal attempts with two rebounds across nine minutes. Quinten Post and Jackson-Davis should handle center duties the rest of the way. Looney’s next chance to play will come Thursday against Chicago.

  • Aztecs will wear red, try to get hot when they take on Air Force on Wednesday night – San Diego Union-Tribune

    SDSU at Air Force

    When: 7 p.m. Wednesday

Where: Clune Arena, Air Force Academy

    On the air: CBSSN; 760-AM

Records: SDSU is 11-5 (4-3); Air Force is 3-15 (0-7)

Series history: SDSU leads 66-24 and has won 10 straight, including 67-38 at Viejas Arena two weeks ago and 77-64 at Air Force last season.

Aztecs update: The 76-68 loss to UNLV was statistically their worst in five seasons, since also losing to the Rebels at Viejas Arena in 2020. This Rebels team is currently 97th in the Kenpom metric, one spot better than the 2020 Rebels. You have to go back to 2019 to find the last time the Aztecs lost to someone outside the top 200. That was 62-48 at Air Force. The Aztecs are 35-4 in their last 39 games following a loss, including 4-0 this season by an average of 11 points. They will wear their red uniforms instead of their usual road blacks. The reds were considered cursed by some in the program given a run of poor performances, but they’ve been better lately – 3-0 under coach Brian Dutcher, including a 74-57 win earlier this season against USD. It is only the 24th time they’re worn red in the last 500 games, with an 18-5 record. The focus in practice was on improving everywhere, after UNLV bettered the Aztecs in all the key statistical categories and scored the third-most points against them after Gonzaga (80) and Oregon (78). Reese Waters had another scan on the stress fracture in his right foot, and by all indications it went well, but Dutcher said the senior guard has not made a decision whether to play this season or redshirt.

Falcons update: They last won Dec. 7 and have dropped eight straight, a nonconference game against Northern Colorado and seven in the Mountain West. The losses have been closer since the 67-38 drubbing at Viejas Arena, where they had a pair of 10-minute droughts without a basket. They lost 69-62 at home against San Jose State, then 68-62 at Nevada and 74-65 at Fresno State last Friday in a battle of last-place teams. The Falcons rank at the bottom of the Mountain West in scoring (63.2 points per game) and are the only team shooting worse from the line (60.9%) than SDSU (67.7%). The Falcons are actually shooting better from the field (45.5%) than SDSU, which ranks 10th at 43.4%. Nearly 40% of their scoring comes from 3-pointers, which is tops in the conference. Senior guard Ethan Taylor (14.8 points, 5.8 rebounds) ranks seventh nationally in minutes per game (36.6) and is 19th in made 3s (57). Three came in the early moments at SDSU, when the Falcons led 20-8. Dutcher called timeout, and the Aztecs went on a 40-4 run. No one else averages more than 9.3 points per game (7-0 center Wesley Celichowsky) or 3.6 rebounds per game (Caleb Walker). Kyle Marshall ranks second among Mountain West freshmen at 7.7 points per game. Kenpom projects a 70-56 Aztecs win.

Next up: Saturday at Nevada (7 p.m., CBSSN)
