    I Survived the Wellington Avalanche, 1910 (I Survived 22) – VERY GOOD

I never thought I would find myself in the midst of such a terrifying disaster, but somehow I managed to survive the Wellington Avalanche of 1910. It was a day that will forever be etched in my memory, the day that nature’s fury unleashed its wrath upon us.

As I huddled in a small cabin with my family, the sound of the approaching avalanche grew louder and louder. The ground shook beneath us as the snow came crashing down the mountainside, burying everything in its path. I could feel the cabin being lifted off its foundation, the walls caving in around us. It was a moment of pure terror, a moment when I thought all hope was lost.

But somehow, against all odds, we managed to survive. We were rescued hours later, cold, hungry, and shaken, but alive. The devastation around us was immense, the landscape forever changed by the power of nature. It was a humbling experience, a reminder of the fragility of life and the strength of the human spirit.

As I look back on that fateful day, I am filled with gratitude for the second chance at life that I have been given. I will never forget the bravery and resilience of those who survived alongside me, nor will I ever take for granted the precious gift of life.

I survived the Wellington Avalanche of 1910, and I am forever grateful for the opportunity to share my story with the world. May we never forget the lessons learned from that tragic day, and may we always cherish the moments we have been given.
