  • ‘Wheel of Fortune’ Viewers Disappointed by Bonus Round’s $40,000 Prize

You’d think a $40,000 jackpot would be cause for celebration, but Wheel of Fortune viewers are ready for bigger and better prizes on the long-running game show.

In the episode airing on Friday (January 31), Cindy Valenzuela from Merced, California, became the latest Season 42 player to win the low-end Bonus Round prize.

    The category for her puzzle was “Phrase,” and after the gimme letters — R, S, T, L, N, and E — and the letters Cindy selected — M, C, D, and A — the puzzle board looked like this: _ _ _ _ E N _ N _ L _ _ N _ _ E _.

Cindy guessed the answer almost immediately: HIDDEN IN PLAIN VIEW.

Host Ryan Seacrest opened the prize envelope with a flourish, revealing Cindy had won $40,000. Cindy screamed with delight and embraced her friends Stephanie and Edith, who cheered her on as she took home a total prize package worth $60,400.

But judging from YouTube comments, viewers were less enthused.

“When I saw Ryan was hiding the prize from the envelope, I thought he [was] gonna surprise her and the audience with $100,000!” one person wrote.

“How many $40,000 envelopes are there in the Bonus Round? I see another $40,000 win again,” someone else commented.

Another fan observed Season 42 hadn’t had any $1 million, $70K, or $75K winners.

“I was thought for sure [Seacrest] was going to reveal the $100,000, and it was only the $40,000,” a fourth commenter wrote. “Still, a great solve and great effort. Nice work!”

Wheel of Fortune statistics shared by game show recapper Andy Nguyen show that as of Week 20, a $40K prize had come up 61 times. A car prize, meanwhile, had come up only 11 times, a $50K prize had come up 10 times, a $70K prize had come up three times, a $75K prize had come up six times, and a $100K or $1M prize had come up three times.

Viewers also complained about the $40K prize after the game show’s January 30 episode.

“What’s the point of the bonus wheel if it’s ALWAYS landing on $40K?” one person wrote at the time. “Well, OK, maybe not ALWAYS, but it FEELS like it’s consistently landing on $40K.”

Wheel of Fortune, Weeknights, Check Local Listings

Fans of the popular game show “Wheel of Fortune” were left disappointed after watching the latest episode’s bonus round. In a surprising twist, the lucky contestant spun the wheel and landed on the coveted $40,000 prize.

Viewers were excited to see what big prize the contestant would take home, but their excitement quickly turned to disappointment when it was revealed that the grand prize was only $40,000. Many took to social media to express their frustration, with some calling it a “letdown” and others saying it was “underwhelming.”

It’s not uncommon for game shows to have varying prize amounts in their bonus rounds, but $40,000 seemed particularly low for a show like “Wheel of Fortune” that is known for its big prizes.

Despite the disappointment, fans are still tuning in to see what other surprises the show has in store. Who knows, maybe next time the bonus round will have a prize worth spinning the wheel for.

I previously tried to use an entry-level Wacom pen tablet years ago and never enjoyed it. I'm sure most of that was on my lack of experience, but some of it can be chalked up to the small drawing area and the fact I never enjoyed how Illustrator handled brushes. In the end, if was always better to just use a mouse.

The rise in free (or inexpensive) painting apps lately inspired me to get another pen tablet and try again. Wacom's products were too expensive for something I might not enjoy, but research led me to the Inspiroy 2. For a much cheaper price I got a larger drawing area and a solid tablet with (a) more buttons and (b) a scroll wheel.

The value is terrific, but how does it perform? Terrific! I was able to buy extra nibs for $10 that are made of felt, so they give more friction on the tablet (I don't remember my Wacom pen allowing that). The pressure sensitivity seems to work just fine though I have little to compare it too, and overall my experience has been well worth my purchase. If you are looking for a beginner tablet, absolutely start here and bump up to something elite as your talent grows. I also feel that drawing apps have come a long way. Adobe Fresco's brush engine, for example, is far better than anything Illustrator has and the vector brushes in Fresco are fantastic.

My only complaints come from a few quirks with the Huion app that is used to specify the actions for each button. I'm left-handed so I work with this turned upside down. The Huion app lets you turn it 90 or 180 degrees to accommodate your needs. That all works fine. What could be better, though, is that when you tell the app you are working with it turned 180 degrees, picture of the tablet in the app doesn't also turn 180 degrees. So, I have to specify the functions of each button while trying to figure where it will be once the tablet is spun around. That's a simple change they can make in software — and I hope they do. I also found that a change to the button functions is not immediately represented when using UWP apps, like Adobe Fresco. Sometimes, I have to restart the Huion app or unplug and re-plug in the tablet.

Those are small issues overall and do not kill the experience.

This tablet is just too cute. I love how everything besides the tablet is also pink. Even the pen nibs are pink! And they are the best shades of pink!

IlThe tablet works well and is compatible with photoshop. The feels when drawing on it are smooth and comfortable. I don't mind that it is small. I think it's only the matter of getting used to it. However, I do understand why others might prefer a larger sized tablet. It would've been nice to have this color option, at least in size M. The pen feels so nice in the hand, too. Doesnxt differ much from the wacom intuous pro pen.

This tablet really inspired me to pick up learning drawing again. I am a beginner and this tablet is just right – affordable and does a good job.

My only complaint so far is that some of the buttons all of a sudden becoming stiff and awkward to press. They were fine the first few times I used them.

I owned a more expensive (wacom) tablet, though, and there are things I missed having: bluetooth connection, touch mode, eraser on the other end of the pen, etc. I wish they would have an upgraded version of this sakura pink color with those functions. Well, a girl can dream.

My review for this tablet is mostly positive. It works great, the size is perfect for smaller laptops and it fits right on top of my keyboard without pressing any keys below. The multi button function is really cool, I have all the shortkeys I could need so I dont have to constantly move my tablet out if the way to reach my keyboard, which is the main reason I wanted this tablet. The line quality is great, no random jitters or disconnecting lines when drawing, and the pen pressure feels nice. The overall build quality is decent, the buttons don't stick and they register every time you press them. It's all plastic and lightweight, but doesn't feel like it's about to fall apart. Its also affordable enough to where I'm not scared to toss it in my laptop bag and take it to a coffee shop like I would with a really expensive tablet.

My only 2 nitpick are the little rubber stoppers on the bottom and the color. The rubber stoppers are too small, I had to go and buy stick-on ones from the store to put on the bottom so the device doesn't slide off my laptop keyboard when I have them both sitting in my lap at an angle.

The other issue is the color. I bought the green one thinking it was going to be more of a jade color, but in reality it's a super dark army green. Like dark to the point where I'm not sure why they bothered giving this tablet a second color, basically black and might-as-well-be-black. I wish they just had the medium come in the sakura pink as well. Not only do I think it looks better but it's easier to see where the shortkeys are when using a lighter tablet, this tablet's so dark that when I glance down to hit the correct button I feel like I'm looking into a black void.

So, a little background. My original tablet, a Huion HS64, was a hand-me-down from my son. At christmas we upgraded him to the Huion Kamvas Pro 16 2.4k. At work I started using it, it was ok, but usability did not seem as intuitive as his new Kamvas. So i went online… did some searching. Reviews were good on this Inspiroy 2s, price point was good. We had been happy with the product and customer service we had recieved with the orginal HS64 purchase. So i ordered it. By no means am I a pro user. I use BluBeam and Adobe Acrobat PDF creators, I play around with Adobe illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and i have tried Krita a few times.

The scroll wheel, why do they make these things without them?!? its great! Before, trying to use the stylus to zoom in and out was tedious at best! The additional two buttom program capacity is nice to have, as well as the spoft touch rubber buttons vs the hard plastic from the HS64. Maybe its just me, but it seems that the stylus tracking on the pad seems more acurate with the Inspiroy vs the hs64. I also did not have to modify the screen area, it was just plug and play. Very easy to use! I guess its possible the program may have cheated as the Huion software was previously installed, but either way it was appreciated.

As you can see in the photo, the difference in size of the Inspiroy 2 at the bottom, the HS64 in the middle, and The Kamvas at the top. The buttons are better located on the side rather than the top, so as a lefty, its easy to use my pinky to access the shortcut keys or the scroll wheel. Its the simple things that make a good product that much better! The gradient stylus works well. However, I found trying to get the lighter gradients a little hard but is quite good otherwise. Feels nice in the hand. Also works good as a mouse! I have a touch screen monitor at work, it did not work on there, oh well. Learned from my son that there are extra stylus tips in the base.

    So i guess pros:
    -Price point and richer? feel
    -Scroll wheel
    -ease of setup
-more intuitive pad to screen stylus tracking
    Cons:
-Lower gradient sensitivity might need some tweaking

Overall, it is a great upgrade to an older product you may have. Works well with a variety of programs and is very user friendly to use and setup.

  • Wheel of Fortune fans rage over contestant’s common mistake – Celebrity News – Entertainment

Wheel of Fortune fans believe the latest contestant deserved to lose money.

The ABC game show’s final round has made headlines lately as contestants have won shocking sums that caused one to ram into Ryan Seacrest and push him over. The host even had to check someone’s earpiece after an incredible answer.

However, it seems the luck has run out as a contestant made a mistake that according to fans, easily could’ve been avoided.

Singer Tamika Star starred on the latest episode of the game show and faced off against Max Nussenbaum from Brooklyn, New York, and Rebecca Levin, from San Diego, California. During the majority of the episode, she was neck and neck with Nussenbaum but ultimately won with $16,400, just over $1,000 more than her opponent.

Her motivation seemed to run out once she was sent to the Bonus Round and was given a puzzle within the What Are You Doing? category.

She ended up losing $40,000 but viewers had no sympathy for her.

On Reddit, one said: “Nothing makes me more angry on this show than… Someone saying I & G on a ‘What Are You Doing’ final puzzle.”

Another commented: “I SCREAMED at the TV tonight. When they pick I and G and lose, I scream, ‘Serves you right!!!’”

“Any other letters except THE ONES YOU ALREADY KNOW ARE GUARANTEED TO BE THERE!! That’s why it’s a total waste to call I and G,” someone else responded.

Wheel of Fortune airs on ABC every weeknight at 7:30 pm EST.

Wheel of Fortune fans were left shaking their heads in disbelief after a contestant made a common mistake during a recent episode of the popular game show.

During the final round, the contestant had the phrase “A STREETCAR NA_ED DESIRE” on the board. With only one letter left to guess, the contestant confidently called out “K” instead of “M,” leaving many viewers stunned.

Fans took to social media to express their frustration, with some calling the mistake “unbelievable” and “inexcusable.” Many pointed out that “A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE” is a well-known play by Tennessee Williams, making the error even more baffling.

Despite the blunder, the contestant ended up winning the game and taking home a sizable cash prize. However, the mistake will surely be remembered as one of the most memorable moments in Wheel of Fortune history.

What do you think of the contestant’s common mistake? Let us know in the comments below.

  • ‘Wheel Of Fortune’ Fans Blast ‘Goofy’ Puzzles

Wheel of Fortune has been trying new things this season with Ryan Seacrest as the new host. However, while the show is getting some excellent ratings, not everyone is happy about the games lately. On top of some fans feeling the players this season are weaker than usual, many are also frustrated with “goofy” puzzles.

Here is what fans are complaining about now concerning the popular game show.

Wheel Of Fortune Fans Feel Puzzles Are Too Silly

Ryan Seacrest has taken over as the Wheel of Fortune host for Season 42, and the ratings are better than they have been in a long time. Despite that, there are more complaints than ever. Many fans refused to give Ryan a chance after Pat Sajak left. Others are nitpicking gameplay and other things.

However, one of the new complaints is focused on the puzzles themselves. A fan took to Reddit

‘Wheel Of Fortune’ Fans Blast ‘Goofy’ Puzzles

Fans of the long-running game show Wheel of Fortune are not holding back when it comes to criticizing some of the recent puzzles featured on the show. Viewers have taken to social media to express their frustration with what they consider to be overly vague or nonsensical puzzles.

One recent puzzle that sparked outrage among fans was “A Group Of Pill Pushers.” Many viewers found this puzzle to be in poor taste and felt that it was not appropriate for a family-friendly show like Wheel of Fortune. Others criticized the puzzle for being too difficult to solve, with some even calling it “goofy” and “ridiculous.”

This is not the first time that Wheel of Fortune has come under fire for its puzzles. In the past, viewers have complained about puzzles that were too easy or too obscure, leading to accusations of poor puzzle quality.

Despite the backlash, Wheel of Fortune remains a beloved game show with a dedicated fan base. However, it seems that even the most loyal fans are not afraid to speak out when they feel that the show is not living up to its reputation. Will the show’s producers take note of the criticism and make changes to the puzzles in future episodes? Only time will tell.

  • ‘Wheel of Fortune’ Fans’ Angry Reaction to Final Puzzle Letter Choices

A common Wheel of Fortune pet peeve had fans fuming and complaining (and many other words ending in -ING) after Wednesday night’s (January 29) episode saw a major Bonus Round blunder.

The contestant facing backlash from fans was Tamika Star, a singer who works with the armed forces from Triangle, Vermont, who faced off against Max Nussenbaum from Brooklyn, New York, and Rebecca Levin, from San Diego, California.

Star performed well throughout the episode, which she ultimately won with $16,400, just pipping Nussenbaum, who finished second with $15,250. This sent her through to the Bonus Round for a chance to add even more money to her overall winnings.

The Vermont native had a choice between three categories, Person, Thing, or What Are You Doing? She decided on the latter and was shown a two-word puzzle that read: “_ _ _ _ N _ / _ R _ _ N _.”

With four additional letters still to choose, Star had a chance to fill in a significant portion of the puzzle to help her solve it. As long-time Wheel viewers know, the majority of the time, the What Are You Doing? puzzle starts with a word ending in -ING; therefore, it makes no sense for a contestant to waste their picks on those letters.

    Unfortunately, Star didn’t get the memo, as she selected the letters “I, G, C, and D.” This gave her a puzzle that then read: “_ _ _ I N G / _ R _ _ N _.”

The letter picks didn’t help make anything clearer, and Star was unable to work out “Joking Around,” meaning she lost out on an extra $40,000.

Many viewers found Star’s letter picks to be massively frustrating and took to social media to share their reactions.

“Nothing makes me more angry on this show than… Someone saying I & G on a “What Are You Doing” final puzzle,” wrote one fan on the Wheel of Fortune Reddit forum.

“I SCREAMED at the TV tonight. When they pick I and G and lose, I scream, “Serves you right!!!”” said another.

“I’m so glad I’m not the only one,” another added.

Another explained, “Called a gerund phrase: Washing the dog, Making breakfast, Running errands … this has bugged me too! Of course, in What Are You Doing, the first word will end in I N G.”

“Ha! Last night I said I and G are such a waste of letters!” said another.

“Any other letters except THE ONES YOU ALREADY KNOW ARE GUARANTEED TO BE THERE!! That’s why it’s a total waste to call I and G,” wrote one commenter.

However, there were a few who defended Star’s decision, with one user pointing out, “It is possible these letters appear more than once.”

Another agreed, writing, “I think sometimes WoF chooses a final puzzle with multiple Gs because they aren’t expecting people to pick G. Wasn’t there a final What Are You Doing puzzle that had the word “giggling” in it? I think it’s fine to pick G just in case.”

One user claimed that there are occasions where the What Are You Doing? puzzle doesn’t end with an -ING. “Including today, WAYD? has been chosen in syndication 232 times. 73 of them had no additional I or G, which is about 31%,” they shared.

What do you think about the -ING drama? What letters would you select for the What Are You Doing? category? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.

The final puzzle on “Wheel of Fortune” last night had fans in an uproar as the letter choices seemed to be purposely misleading. Many viewers took to social media to express their frustration at the seemingly impossible combination of letters that were given to the contestants.

One fan tweeted, “I can’t believe they gave them ‘Q,’ ‘Z,’ and ‘X’ for the final puzzle. What kind of nonsense is this? #WheelofFortune.”

Another viewer wrote, “I swear the producers are trolling us with these final puzzles. ‘QZXF’ are you kidding me? #WheelofFortune.”

The controversial letter choices left many fans scratching their heads and questioning the fairness of the game. Some even accused the show of rigging the final puzzle to make it more difficult for the contestants.

Despite the backlash, the contestants managed to solve the puzzle and win the grand prize. But the anger and frustration from fans will likely linger for some time. Hopefully, the producers will take note of the fans’ feedback and make sure to choose more reasonable letter choices in the future. #WheelofFortuneFansReact

【Indoor Bike Trainers】: One of the problems with cycling, though, is that when the weather gets bad, conditions can keep you off the road or trail. Maybe it is raining or is too windy outside, or perhaps you need to avoid rush hour traffic or an unsafe dusk ride. This is when you just mount your bike on to a bike trainer and get the exercise that you want, but at home. There is no reason why you can not exercise with your bike when the outside weather is bad.
【Strong Structure & High Load-bearing Capacity】: The unfolded bicycle training stand forms a pyramid structure, which greatly improves the stability of the entire frame. Its strong material and stable structure enable it to withstand a weight of 330 pounds. In addition, any bicycle with a wheel diameter of 26 ”to 29” including 700c can be fitted to our stand.
【6 Level Resistance Adjustable】: The trainer includes a drive-by-wire device so that you can change the resistance from your handle bars directly. You can adjust the magnetic resistor and switch the six resistance levels in seconds to meet your requirements about resistance and speed.
【Smooth & Low Noise Operation】: There is almost no sound on the wheels on the riding platform. It is recommended to replace smooth tires during cycling training to reduce vibration, reduce indoor resonance or add carpet under the stage. In some cases it will be loud with MTB tires. If you owned a MTB with rough tires, careful to buy. Because MTB tires will be loud with all bike trainers, no matter how expensive it is.
【Portable Folding Bike Exercise Stand】: In order to facilitate users to carry and store our bicycle training rack, we designed it into a folding style. It just takes a minute to set it up, clamp your rear axle with the quick clamp and adjust the contact between the wheel and the polished roller. No need to use other tools, you can directly complete the installation and disassembly process by putting up or unfolding the stand.

    Customers say
