  • 2028 Scout Terra and Traveler Are Off-Roaders Worth Waiting For

    What They Are

    cars worth waiting for

For those who remember the Scout name from the 1960s and ‘70s when it was owned by International Harvester, nostalgia should suffice for an introduction. For everyone else, meet the forthcoming Scout Terra pickup truck and Traveler SUV, a pair of electric off-roaders from this revived brand. They don’t just rely on retro styling, though, as their body-on-frame construction and solid rear axle are unique among EVs and should make them capable. The Scout siblings will also be sold as plug-in hybrids, which could help encourage adoption.

    Why They Matter

While electric pickup trucks and electric SUVs continue to proliferate, it’s currently slim pickings when it comes to serious off-roaders. The Terra and Traveler look to fill that niche, aided by their plug-in-hybrid variants that will eliminate range anxiety.

    Platform

Scout’s proprietary platform combines an old-school body-on-frame configuration with new-age electric powertrains. The Ford F-150 Lightning also rides on frame rails, but unlike the Ford’s independent rear suspension, the Scouts feature a solid rear axle—a setup that’s currently not offered on any other production EV.

    Powertrain

Both the pickup and the SUV will be available with two powertrains. The EV versions will have an 800-volt architecture and an electric motor on each axle, as well as mechanical locking front and rear differentials. Scout hasn’t announced a combined horsepower figure, but it’s estimating the all-wheel-drive setup will combine for 1000 pound-feet of torque. The PHEV models will use a gas-fed engine that only charges the battery and doesn’t power the wheels. Without the “Harvester” range-extender, Scout estimates the all-electric Terra and Traveler will be able to go up to 350 miles on a full charge. The Harvester models should be good for over 500 miles, Scout says.

    Competition

The Scout models will go up against electric vehicles including the Ford F-150 Lightning, GMC Hummer EV pickup and Hummer EV SUV, Jeep Recon, and Rivian R1S and R1T. The Terra and Traveler’s “Harvester” setups will also face off against plug-in hybrids such as the Jeep Wrangler 4xe and Ram 1500 Ramcharger.

    What Might Go Wrong

Despite its American roots, Scout’s revival was made possible by Volkswagen Group, which bought the brand back in 2021. Although its backing from an automotive giant might seem to ensure Scout’s legitimacy, it’s important to note that VW experienced falling profits over this past year as it continues transitioning to EVs. VW invested billions into North America, including $2 billion for the factory in South Carolina where the Terra and Traveler will be built, but still, Scout’s long-term success isn’t guaranteed.

    Estimated Arrival and Price

The Terra and Traveler are slated to enter production in 2027 at a new factory in Blythewood, S.C. That suggests they will debut as 2028 models, and Scout says they’ll both start at under $60,000.

    Headshot of Eric Stafford

Eric Stafford’s automobile addiction began before he could walk, and it has fueled his passion to write news, reviews, and more for Car and Driver since 2016. His aspiration growing up was to become a millionaire with a Jay Leno–like car collection. Apparently, getting rich is harder than social-media influencers make it seem, so he avoided financial success entirely to become an automotive journalist and drive new cars for a living. After earning a journalism degree at Central Michigan University and working at a daily newspaper, the years of basically burning money on failed project cars and lemon-flavored jalopies finally paid off when Car and Driver hired him. His garage currently includes a 2010 Acura RDX, a manual ’97 Chevy Camaro Z/28, and a ’90 Honda CRX Si.

Are you in the market for a rugged off-roader that can handle any terrain? If so, you may want to consider waiting for the 2028 Scout Terra and Traveler. These two new models from Scout are sure to impress with their impressive capabilities and features.

The Scout Terra is a compact off-roader that is perfect for navigating tight trails and rough terrain. It features a powerful engine, advanced suspension system, and durable construction that can withstand even the toughest conditions. With its versatile design, the Terra is perfect for both off-road adventures and daily driving.

The Scout Traveler, on the other hand, is a larger off-roader that offers more space and comfort for longer trips. It boasts a spacious interior, advanced technology features, and a powerful engine that can tackle any obstacle in its path. Whether you’re heading off the beaten path or simply cruising around town, the Traveler is sure to impress with its performance and style.

Both the Scout Terra and Traveler are expected to hit the market in 2028, and they are already generating a lot of buzz among off-road enthusiasts. • Prediction: These 2 Artificial Intelligence (AI) Stocks Could Be Worth More Than Palantir by 2030

Palantir (NASDAQ: PLTR) has gained a reputation for being one of the best artificial intelligence (AI) investments, with its stock rising a whopping 320% since the start of 2024. However, looking at its current valuation, one could argue the expectations baked into its price may not necessarily be grounded in the company’s fundamentals.

Where to invest $1,000 right now? Our analyst team just revealed what they believe are the 10 best stocks to buy right now. See the 10 stocks »

Right now, Palantir is worth roughly $160 billion. However, I think there are a couple of AI stocks that could surpass Palantir in value by 2030. Those two candidates are Snowflake (NYSE: SNOW) and CrowdStrike (NASDAQ: CRWD).

Why these two? It all has to do with valuation.

Palantir has the least revenue growth of the three

Palantir and its AI software, which gives clients the tools they need to help with decision making, has become very popular in the AI space. However, Palantir’s growth hasn’t been remarkable. In the third quarter, Palantir’s revenue rose 30% year over year. While that’s strong, it’s nearly identical to what Snowflake and CrowdStrike latest quarterly revenue growth has been, at 28% and 29%, respectively.

Snowflake’s revenue growth was powered by its data cloud software platform that is necessary to store and provide data to AI models. On the other hand, CrowdStrike is a cybersecurity provider that uses AI to help determine what a threat is and what is normal activity. Obviously, from just the latest quarterly results, a true winner can’t be established.

However, over the last three years, Palantir’s cumulative revenue grew just 61%, while Snowflake and CrowdStrike grew revenues by 180% and 158%, respectively.

    PLTR Revenue (Quarterly) Chart
PLTR Revenue (Quarterly) data by YCharts.

Snowflake and CrowdStrike clearly have the edge over Palantir in topline growth, and it wouldn’t be surprising if Palantir struggles to justifying its current valuation. As anticipated, the three companies are valued at wildly different levels.

The market has given Palantir a massive premium over its peers, trading for an unbelievable 61 times trailing 12-month sales at the time of writing, which is why Palantir’s market cap is so much larger than its peers. But that price tag doesn’t seem normal, given Palantir’s growth level — even after accounting for its profitability (more on that later).

    PLTR Market Cap Chart
PLTR Market Cap data by YCharts.

This should be an obvious red flag for Palantir investors, as it’s unlikely to be able to maintain that valuation if its growth doesn’t accelerate. Still, there are some key reasons why Palantir is better off than CrowdStrike or Snowflake.

Palantir is the only solidly profitable company of this trio

One key advantage Palantir has over the other two is its profitability. Palantir is solidly profitable and has been so for some time. Snowflake and CrowdStrike haven’t been near the profitability levels Palantir has.

    SNOW Profit Margin (Quarterly) Chart
SNOW Profit Margin (Quarterly) data by YCharts.

This certainly gives Palantir an edge, and it accounts for some of the expensive price tag on its stock. After years of being deeply unprofitable (Snowflake) or teetering between the breakeven mark (CrowdStrike), the market may have some skepticism about whether these two can ever get over the hump and produce a solid profit margin like Palantir has. And sometimes the market can change its perception about stocks quickly, catching investors off guard.

Having said that, Palantir has set a great example for both companies to follow. In Q2 2022, Palantir’s loss margin was a dismal 38%. However, two quarters later, in Q4 2022, Palantir broke even and has steadily improved its profitability since. If either Snowflake or CrowdStrike have a Palantir moment and deliver strong profits, I wouldn’t be surprised to see these two outperform Palantir over the next five years. Because over this period, there’s a solid chance both companies will turn profitable.

Additionally, there’s the matter of Palantir’s very expensive stock. At the time of this writing, Palantir trades for staggering 359 times trailing earnings. Over the next five years, if Palantir maintains its 30% revenue growth rate and its 20% profit margin, that would value Palantir at 83 times trailing earnings if the stock stays at the same price it is right now.

On the other hand, what would happen if Snowflake and CrowdStrike could flip the switch and were profitable like Palantir? At today’s stock prices and revenue, if Snowflake and CrowdStrike were currently profitable mirroring Palantir’s 20% profit margin, the two would’ve been trading for only 83 times and 118 times trailing earnings, respectively, right now.

While, no doubt, both companies still have a ways to go before reaching Palantir’s profit levels, it also shows that they are far cheaper stocks than Palantir is, and with five years’ worth of growth ahead of them, it’s highly likely they’ll catch up in value with Palantir.

By 2030, I think that Snowflake and CrowdStrike will be worth far more than Palantir. This should likely occur through a combination of CrowdStrike and Snowflake achieving profitability, and Palantir’s valuation falling to a reasonable level.

Regardless, if you think Snowflake and CrowdStrike can achieve profitability over the next five years (like I do), they appear as a far better option to buy right now than Palantir.

As artificial intelligence continues to revolutionize industries and reshape the way we live and work, investors are constantly on the lookout for promising AI stocks with significant growth potential. One company that has been making waves in the AI space is Palantir Technologies, known for its data analytics and AI-powered solutions.

However, there are two other AI stocks that could potentially surpass Palantir in terms of market value by 2030. The first is NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA), a leading provider of graphics processing units (GPUs) that are essential for AI applications. NVIDIA’s GPUs are widely used in AI training and inference, making the company a key player in the AI ecosystem. With its strong track record of innovation and robust growth prospects, NVIDIA could see its stock price soar in the coming years.

Another AI stock to watch is Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOGL), the parent company of Google. Google has been at the forefront of AI research and development, leveraging its vast trove of data and advanced algorithms to create cutting-edge AI products and services. With its diverse revenue streams and dominant market position, Alphabet is well positioned to capitalize on the growing demand for AI technologies.

Both NVIDIA and Alphabet have the potential to outperform Palantir and become top players in the AI industry by 2030. Investors looking to capitalize on the AI revolution should keep a close eye on these two stocks as they continue to innovate and expand their AI capabilities.

  • Who Is Kirk Herbstreit’s Wife Alison Butler? All About His Family, Net Worth, and More

Kirk Herbstreit—college football’s golden voice, the guy who makes Saturday mornings worth waking up for. But behind every legend is a story untold, and this one’s about Alison Butler, the woman who’s been running the Herbstreit playbook off the field. Who is she? How did a cheerleader end up as the quarterback’s biggest cheerleader in life? And oh, there’s more. Think family, fortunes, and yes, even golden retrievers. Let’s dive in.

Kirk Herbstreit’s life has been a highlight reel, starting with his days as the Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback from 1989 to 1992. Following in his father Jim Herbstreit’s footsteps, Kirk became a captain just like his old man. Fast forward to 1995, and he’s in the booth, making ESPN his second home. By 1996, he was cementing his name as the analytical voice of College GameDay, bagging five Sports Emmy Awards along the way. Now, between 33 games and 16 GameDay episodes in 2023, the man barely has time to breathe. But let’s not forget the real MVP here—Alison Butler, the former Ohio State cheerleader who became his rock when life turned into a high-speed blitz.

Who is Kirk Herbstreit’s Wife Alison Butler and Family?

Let’s talk about Alison, the silent force behind the Herbstreit dynasty. Married to Kirk since 1998, she’s not just any cheerleader. Alison repped Ohio State like a boss back in the day, cheering on her Buckeyes while Kirk called the shots on the field. “Her time as a cheerleader is etched in Buckeye history,” shared Chris Fowler in a nostalgic moment on The Dan Patrick Show. Fowler even spilled how Alison’s connections got College GameDay’s Lee Corso the iconic Brutus the Buckeye head. Talk about insider privileges!

Now, the Herbstreit family isn’t your average crew—they’re practically football royalty. Kirk and Alison have four sons: Jake, Tye, Zak, and Chase. Jake and Tye suited up for Clemson, but Jake later transferred back to Ohio State (because, let’s be real, the Buckeye pull is strong). Zak joined Ohio State in 2021 as a tight end, while Chase is out here making moves as a high school quarterback. The Herbstreit home is football central, but Alison’s the one keeping the gears turning while Kirk racks up air miles covering games coast-to-coast.

Their life and challenge beyond the gridiron and net worth

Life off the field isn’t always smooth sailing. In 2011, the Herbstreits moved from Ohio to Nashville after receiving backlash from a few overzealous Buckeye fans. But true to form, they adapted, splitting time between Nashville and Cincinnati so Chase could finish high school. Through it all, Kirk has been vocal about how Alison’s unwavering support keeps the family grounded. “She’s the glue that holds us together,” Kirk once shared. And let’s not forget their squad of golden retrievers—Peter, Theo, Mitch, and the late Ben. Losing Ben to leukemia in November 2024 had whole college football world upside down, but Kirk’s heartfelt tribute on Instagram showed just how much their furry family means to them.

And what about the dollar signs? Kirk’s estimated net worth lands somewhere between $14 and $20 million. He’s raking in $4 million annually from ESPN and another $10 million from Amazon for NFL commentary. But it’s not just about the money—it’s the legacy. From Kirk’s playing days to his father Jim’s Buckeye roots and Alison’s cheerleading history, the Herbstreits bleed scarlet and gray. Even now, Kirk’s advocating for the revival of the NCAA Football video game series, proving that some traditions are worth fighting for.

So, who is Alison Butler? She’s the woman who’s been calling the plays behind the scenes, the glue that holds the Herbstreit dynasty together. From Buckeye sidelines to raising four football sons, Alison’s story is just as cool as Kirk’s rise to sports commentary royalty. Together, they’ve built a life that’s equal parts chaos, touchdowns, and golden retrievers. Ain’t that the real American dream?

  • Is the Stock Worth Buying?

Occidental Petroleum Corporation OXY is trading above its 50-day simple moving average (SMA), signaling a bullish trend. The company is gaining from its focus on the Permian Basin and contribution from acquired assets.

The company operates in a very competitive industry, but Occidental, being a low-cost operator and possessing high-quality assets in different locations across the globe, has a competitive advantage over its peers.

The 50-day SMA is a key indicator for traders and analysts to identify support and resistance levels. It is considered particularly important as it is the first marker of a stock’s uptrend or downtrend.

Occidental has rallied 13.7% in the past month, outperforming its industry, sector and Zacks S&P 500 Composite’s return in the same time frame. Occidental’s shares have outperformed another operator, Hess HES, in the same period. HES shares have gained 11.4% in the past month.

Should you consider adding OXY stock to your portfolio only based on positive price movements? Let’s delve deeper and find out factors that can help investors decide whether it is a good entry point to add OXY stock to their portfolio.

Occidental’s persistent focus on Permian resources has been beneficial. Its core development area in the Permian region has been recording solid results. Occidental strengthened its portfolio by adding CrownRock’s assets in the Midland Basin. Courtesy of CrownRock’s contribution, the company has revised its production volume upward. Occidental has raised its fourth-quarter production Permian volume by 12,000 barrels per day, 9,000 of which are coming from its CrownRock assets.

Occidental continues to evaluate its high-quality asset portfolio for divestment opportunities and will apply those proceeds to further debt reduction, thereby strengthening its balance sheet. Courtesy of strong free cash flow, it has repaid nearly $4 billion in debt during the third quarter of 2024, which is nearly 90% of its near-term debt reduction target of $4.5 billion. Ongoing debt reduction will reduce its capital servicing expenses.

Occidental, being a low-cost operator with high-quality assets in different locations across the globe, has a competitive advantage over its peers. Efficient cost management is also going to boost its performance. Systematic capital investment has been allowing the company to strengthen its infrastructure. In the first nine months of 2024, OXY invested $5.09 billion compared with $4.72 billion in the year-ago period.

The company is also expanding its operation internationally. Occidental has entered a new 25-year production-sharing agreement with Sonatrach in Algeria. The production-sharing agreement renews and strengthens operations in Algeria. Production from the International operation is expected in the range of 228-234 Mboe/d in fourth-quarter 2024.

Known for his offensive expertise and ability to recruit elite talent, Day’s salary and net worth reflect his value in the competitive world of college football, even as his tenure includes both impressive successes and notable challenges.

As of 2024, Day is in the midst of a seven-year contract that extends through the 2028 season, thanks to a two-year extension announced in 2022. His annual salary is a hefty $10.2 million, placing him among the highest-paid coaches in college football. This includes a base salary of $2 million, supplemented by significant bonuses and endorsements.

Day receives $5.69 million annually for media, promotions, and PR duties, and an additional $1 million retention bonus for staying with the program each year. In 2024, he also earned a $250,000 retention payment. Day’s contract includes bonuses tied to team performance, particularly in the College Football Playoff (CFP). Winning the National Championship nets him a $1 million bonus, while reaching the semifinals earns $350,000. Additional incentives include $250,000 for a Big Ten Championship and $150,000 if the team achieves a 3.5 GPA or higher. However, with Ohio State’s struggles in recent seasons, including losses to rival Michigan, Day has missed some key athletic incentives.

Since taking over in 2019, Day has maintained Ohio State’s dominance, leading the Buckeyes to a 66-10 record and producing top-tier NFL talent like Justin Fields and C.J. Stroud. Despite these achievements, losses to Michigan and the absence of a National Championship remain blemishes on his otherwise stellar resume. The Buckeyes’ record against Michigan under Day’s leadership, including three consecutive defeats from 2021-2023, has sparked conversations about his long-term future.

Ryan Day’s financial success is as striking as his coaching record. With a net worth of $66.5 million, his wealth stems from his lucrative salary, endorsements, and bonuses. While the pressure to win remains intense, his compensation reflects his standing as one of college football’s most prominent figures.

  • Carrie Underwood Has Made Bank Since American Idol—Here’s What She’s Worth Today

Most country music fans probably don’t need an introduction to Carrie Underwood. Since winning the fourth season of American Idol in 2005, she’s become one of the most successful artists in country music history, with hits like “Before He Cheats,” “Jesus Take the Wheel,” and “Good Girl” becoming instant classics and transforming Carrie Underwood’s net worth into what it is today.

Related: American Idol Judges Net Worths: Who Makes The Most Money?

    More from StyleCaster

From hosting the CMA Awards alongside Brad Paisley for over a decade to delivering the soundtrack to Sunday Night Football, Underwood has expanded far beyond her country music beginnings. She’s launched a successful athletic wear line, CALIA by Carrie, written a bestselling fitness book, Find Your Path, and even ventured into the world of Las Vegas residencies. But how did this small-town girl from Checotah, Oklahoma—with a population barely over 3,000—become one of music’s biggest success stories? What does her empire look like today? And just how much has the “American Idol” winner’s success translated into dollars?

What is Carrie Underwood’s net worth today?

    Image: Getty Images for CMT.

    Image: Getty Images for CMT.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Carrie Underwood’s net worth stands at an impressive $120 million in 2025. The country superstar reportedly brings in around $12 million annually, though this figure can fluctuate based on her touring schedule and various projects. Not too shabby for someone who started their journey on a reality TV show, right?

Speaking of reality TV, let’s talk about where it all began. While competing on American Idol, Underwood wasn’t exactly raking in the big bucks we associate with her name today. As a Top 24 contestant, she reportedly would have earned around $1,571 for two-hour shows, $1,303 for one-hour shows, and $910 for half-hour shows, plus meals (because even future superstars need to eat!).

After winning the show in 2005, Underwood received what was standard for Idol champions: a recording contract with Hollywood Records, including $125,000 upfront for beginning her first album, another $125,000 upon completion, and a $300,000 advance for album production. All told, her American Idol experience likely netted her around half a million dollars—pocket change compared to what was coming her way.

Fast forward to today, and Underwood’s concert earning potential is nothing short of impressive. Since 2014, she’s reportedly maintained a performance rider requiring a minimum of $500,000 per concert—though that number has likely increased pretty substantially over the years. For example, her 2019 Cry Pretty Tour reportedly brought in a whopping $50 million!

One of the most interesting forays of Carrie’s career has been delivering the theme song for Sunday Night Football. While reports have circulated that she earns $1 million per week for the gig (which would amount to $18 million per season), Underwood set the record straight during an interview with Howard Stern, revealing that she essentially did it for free.

Underwood’s wealth isn’t just from music and performances. Like any savvy businesswoman, she’s diversified her income streams. From her CALIA by Carrie fitness apparel line to various endorsement deals, she’s built an empire that extends well beyond country music—and as the performer for the presidential inauguration under her belt in 2025, it’s only up from here.

  • Keira Knightley Once Made $3 Million for a Movie Cameo, So Yeah, Her Net Worth Is Massive

“Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links.”

It’s a truth universally acknowledged that the best Jane Austen adaptation of all time is Keira Knightly and Matthew Macfadyen’s Pride & Prejudice for reasons best summarized by “the art of emotional hand acting.” And frankly, they both deserve millions just for giving culture this horny moment:

Though Keira doesn’t exactly need it due to being a multi-millionaire already. Which makes sense considering she’s 1) been acting since she was a teenager, 2) has a major franchise under her belt, and 3) has one of the most lucrative brand contracts in Hollywood. Time for a deep dive into her net worth before an inevitable Bend It Like Beckham re-watch.

    Her Chanel Contract Was Massive

Keira became the face of Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle perfume in 2006, earning a reported $1 million per year for the contract. She was the face of the scent for over a decade, and in 2018 the Hollywood Reporter implied she’d been given a raise—saying “for an idea of her paycheck,” Nicole Kidman had been paid $12 million for three years of “hocking Chanel No. 5.”

She Earned So Much in 2008, She Made Forbes

According to the outlet (via The Telegraph), Keira was one of the highest-paid actresses of the year, earning $32 million thanks to a combination of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End + Atonement + her Chanel ambassadorship.

Speaking of Pirates of the Caribbean

Keira’s per salary movie isn’t known, but the Daily Mail reports that she made £3 million just from a cameo in Dead Men Tell No Tales.

She “Pays Herself” a Salary of $50,000 a Year

Or, at least she did once upon a time. Glamour asked Keira about rumors that she allots herself $50k/year back in 2014, and she said “It’s something around that. I mean, if I want or need something that goes over that, I get it, but, yes, around that. I think living an [expensive] lifestyle means you can’t hang out with people who don’t live that lifestyle. It alienates you. Some of my best, most hilarious times have been in the least luxurious places.”

So, What Did Keira Make for Black Doves?

Her exact salary is unknown, but Netflix pays…a lot. Some examples? David Harbor and Winona Ryder were reportedly earning $450,000 per episode of Stranger Things as of 2022, and Henry Cavill reportedly got $400,000 per episode for The Witcher. Keira is fully as big an A-lister as those three, so…seems fair to assume her salary would be around this!

She Owns Some Major Real Estate

Keira sold a swanky apartment in New York City for $6 million back in 2017, and on top of that she has a home in London worth another $6.5 million or so.

So, What’s Keira’s Total Net Worth?

That’d be $80 million according to Celebrity Net Worth, a truly massive amount of money that can largely be attributed to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, Chanel’s deep pockets, and other box office hits like Pride & Prejudice, The Duchess, and Atonement.

But what many people may not know is that Knightley once made a whopping $3 million for a movie cameo. Yes, you read that right – $3 million for just a brief appearance in a film. This just goes to show how in-demand and highly paid Knightley is in the industry.

With such high earnings for just one role, it’s no surprise that Knightley’s net worth is estimated to be in the tens of millions. In fact, some sources have reported her net worth to be over $60 million, making her one of the wealthiest actresses in Hollywood.

  • Is Netflix’s New Cameron Diaz Movie, ‘Back In Action,’ Worth Watching?

Netflix has released a new original movie that has immediately rocketed to #1 on the service. That would be Back in Action, an appropriately named spy thriller that marks the return of Cameron Diaz to acting for the first time since 2014’s Annie, Sex Tape and The Other Woman, the last year she made any film.

Unfortunately, it appears she may have not chosen the right project.

Back in Action has a dismal 24% on Rotten Tomatoes from dozens of critics, quite low even for often low-scoring Netflix original movies. The audience score is…better, a 64%, but in the context of usually-higher audience scores, that’s not amazing. Here’s the synopsis of the movie, which also stars Jamie Foxx:

“Former CIA spies Emily and Matt are pulled back into espionage after their secret identities are exposed.”

It’s a little hard to tell from that description but yes, this is an action-comedy, not just a straight spy thriller. It’s directed by Seth Gordon, who previously did Horrible Bosses, Identity Thief and Baywatch. Unlike Diaz he has been working since those movies (they were all almost a decade ago, or more), doing episodes of shows like The Night Agent, For All Mankind and The Good Doctor.

I was actually surprised to realize that Cameron Diaz has not acted since 2014. She has recently commented on this, and how much she loved being “retired.” From a Graham Norton interview:

“Oh my God, I loved it. It was the best 10 years of my life.” She said she was “just free” to be a wife and mother and have a more private life, and I think we can all respect that. She said she turned down roles until people just stopped asking over the last ten years.

    What changed? Here’s her explanation:

“It’s just a privilege to do this. I thought to myself, if I just like, let this go away, all of this goodwill that I got to build over so much time, the passion that I have for entertaining people and making movies that make people smile and laugh and have a good time… if I don’t engage in that again… then I would be a fool.”

She also has another movie coming up, Apple TV+’s “black comedy” Outcome with Keanu Reeves and Jonah Hill, which will be directed by Hill.

So, Cameron Diaz is back in action for Back in Action, but it may not have been the role she should have picked, judging by the quality of the film.

Netflix has released a new movie starring Cameron Diaz called ‘Back In Action,’ and fans are wondering if it’s worth watching. With Diaz’s return to the screen after a hiatus, many are curious to see if the film lives up to the hype.

The movie follows Diaz as a retired CIA agent who is forced back into action when her former partner goes missing. As she navigates through dangerous situations and faces off against adversaries, viewers are taken on a thrilling ride filled with action and suspense.

But is ‘Back In Action’ worth watching? Reviews have been mixed, with some praising Diaz’s performance and the film’s fast-paced plot, while others criticize the lack of depth in character development and predictable storyline.

Ultimately, whether or not ‘Back In Action’ is worth watching depends on your preference for action-packed thrillers and your admiration for Cameron Diaz. If you’re a fan of Diaz’s previous work and enjoy a good action flick, then ‘Back In Action’ may be worth checking out. But if you’re looking for a more nuanced and thought-provoking film, you may want to skip this one.
