If there is no sound when connected to Xreal AR glasses:

1. Please update your Xreal glasses firmware to the latest version (update on your phone’s Xreal App)

2. After upgrading, press and hold the brightness button – (ring once), then press and hold brightness + (ring twice), wait for 1 second, and the audio and video will be displayed at the same time (Note: this operation is required after each replugging)

3. The audio output of the HDMI output device also needs to be switched to the AR glasses device output or other peripherals

Xreal If connected: Desktop computers, laptops, TV boxes, PS4/5, and other HDMI output devices:

If the audio and video are not displayed properly, please power the adapter before connecting to another port

Xreal (if connected to Nintendo Switch):

First of all, you must use the original Nintendo switch charger to power the adapter, activate the TV mode, and then connect the AR glasses or portable monitor:1. You must remove the controller of the Nintendo switch to operate the game. 2. The adapter must be powered with the original Nintendo switch charger

When USB C male to USB C female is connected to a portable monitor:

1. If it is not displayed normally: please power the adapter first, and then connect other ports; Or reseat it

2. If it is a high-power display, use a high-power power supply

3. When the adapter is plugged in, please do not use the Apple charger (because the power is too low)

4. Please make sure that the USB-C port of the portable monitor supports audio and video input, and that the device connected to the adapter (such as a mobile phone/computer) supports audio and video output

5. Please use the original audio and video transmission cable

6. The adapter only supports uni-direction and USB C male to USB C female transmission directions

Note:

1. When connecting XREAL to Nintendo switch, you must use the original Nintendo switch charger to power the adapter, activate the TV mode, and remove the controller to operate the game

2. If there is no video or sound when connecting the XREAL AR glasses, please update the firmware version of the AR glasses to the latest version, then press and hold the brightness button – (ringing once), then press and hold the brightness + (ringing twice), wait for 1 second, and the audio and video will be displayed at the same time (Note: this operation is required after each replugging and unplugging)

3. If the adapter is not working: Please reconnect the adapter’s (USB-C OUT) port; or reconnect; Or connect the adapter to the power supply first, and then connect the other ports

4. If the adapter is connected/disconnected from power, reconnect the adapter’s (USB-C OUT) port.

5. Make sure that the USB-C port of your USB-C output device (e.g., phone, computer) supports audio and video transmission, and that the USB-C port of your USB-C display device supports audio and video input.

6. USB C male to USB C female can only be used in uni-direction, and the male adapter can only be directly connected to the output device (e.g. phone, computer, Steam Deck, Nintendo Switch, ROG Ally, Legion Go)

7. The adapter cannot be connected to other adapters.

8. If a high-power monitor is connected, a high-power charger is required

9. The charging power is related to the device/power source you are connected to, we measured it to be about 85W, the power varies from device to device.

10. When connecting AR glasses or portable monitors, please use the original audio and video transmission cable, or other Thunderbolt 3/4 cables that support audio and video transmission

11.If there is no sound output when connected to the earphones: Please use the USB-C male of the adapter to connect to an HDMI output device (such as a mobile phone/computer/Nintendo switch), then connect the earphones, and wait for the earphones to output sound normally before connecting to another port
