The Masked Singer fans are convinced an iconic pop star and TWO soap legends are behind three of the zany characters after spotting huge clues
The new series of The Masked Singer is just three episodes in, but some viewers are already claiming they’ve figured out the identities of three of the zany characters.
Saturday’s show ended with a dramatic twist, as Toad In The Hole furiously stormed off-stage after being they told they had been eliminated from the competition.
ITV viewers were shocked but moments later the star returned to the stage and was revealed to be American singer Macy, who did not look impressed about leaving the reality show.
Macy had found herself in the sing-off with Bear, and some viewers have claimed he could be one of two soap stars taking part in the show this year.
Bear had performed a number from the musical Oliver! during their Masked Singer debut, and this week they mixed it up by singing the Will Smith hit Miami.
This has left some fans convinced that Bear could be actor Richard Blackwood, who has previously starred in EastEnders and Hollyoaks, and also previously released three singles, with one reaching number three in the charts.

Saturday’s show ended with a dramatic twist, as Toad In The Hole, later revealed as Macy Gray furiously stormed off-stage after being they told they had been eliminated
‘Wolf pack – lead singer of pop group Wet Wet Wet. Fairy tale – has starred in pantos including Peter Pan.
‘Has been on west end/Broadway. He was in the Broadway adaption of Jekyll and Hyde, hence the Jekyll and Hyde clue someone mentioned on the thread;’
‘It is definitely him. I got the same feeling when Morten Harket did TMS a few years ago, I knew immediately;’
‘100% Marti Pellow. The most obvious in the history of the show.’
It comes after a source claimed that Macy was completely ‘blindsided’ by being one of the first contestants to leave the UK show after reaching the final of the US version in 2023 in which she was disguised as the Sea Queen.
Macy was reportedly ‘shellshocked’ and ‘gutted’ to be leaving the hit ITV show so early as she enjoyed participating in the American version.
Speaking to The Sun, the insider claimed: ‘When Macy stormed off stage everyone was frozen in shock, but as soon as she reached backstage, crew removed her mask so they could talk her down.
‘It was the shock of it for her as well as the upset, and in that moment she had a very raw, human reaction and wanted out. For a professional performer to reach that point shows how badly she felt.’
MailOnline have contacted ITV for comment.
Once she removed her mask, Macy had a face like thunder and couldn’t hide her anger during the interview, replying to Joel’s questions with blunt, one-worded answers.
Watching the dramatic moment, viewers took to X in their droves to comment and they were all saying the same thing – how ‘awkward’ the whole thing was.
Prue Leith was the first person voted off the show after being revealed as Pegasus, while Kate Garraway was the second to be out after being unmasked as Spag Bol.
The Masked Singer continues on ITV1 and ITVX on Saturday January 18 at 7pm.
Fans of The Masked Singer are buzzing with excitement as they believe they have cracked the code on three of the zany characters in the hit show. A popular theory circulating among viewers is that an iconic pop star and two soap legends are behind some of the masks, and the clues seem to be pointing in that direction. The first character causing a stir is the Sun, who has been wowing audiences with her powerful vocals and dazzling performances. Some eagle-eyed fans believe that the Serpent is soap legend and Broadway star Ricky Martin, pointing to clues like a reference to “Livin’ la Vida Loca” and a connection to Puerto Rico, where Martin was born.
Lastly, the Seahorse has been turning heads with her stunning vocals and mesmerizing performances. Viewers are speculating that the Seahorse is soap legends Susan Lucci or Deidre Hall, based on clues like references to “All My Children” and “Days of Our Lives.”
