Taylor Swift kicked off the NFL postseason by rooting for Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs in a playoff game against the Houston Texans.
The pop star, 35, supported the tight end, also 35, at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, during the divisional playoff game on Saturday, January 18, wearing a chic black minidress with a pearl Chanel belt and a matching checked jacket. She completed her look with a coordinating Chanel handbag and her signature red lip.
Earlier this week, Kelce confirmed that Swift would be in the stands. “You know it, baby,” he said during the Monday, January 13, episode of ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show. “You know it’s playoff football, man.”
Kelce also made a reference to one of Swift’s most popular lyrics while sharing his excitement for the game. “I’m feeling fired up,” he noted. “I’m feeling 22 all over again, baby. Let’s go.”

Saturday marked the first Chiefs playoff game of the 2024-2025 NFL season. After clinching the No. 1 seed in the AFC, the team earned home-field advantage and a bye week for the wild card round, which took place the previous weekend. The Chiefs are vying for a three-peat after winning the Super Bowl in 2023 and 2024. If they are successful, they would become the first team in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowls.
Swift has consistently appeared in-person to cheer for Kelce throughout the Chiefs’ season. While she opted not to attend any away games during the regular season, she was present for every home game except a December 2024 match-up against the Los Angeles Chargers, which coincided with her final Eras Tour concert in Vancouver.

Swift also played a major part in Kelce’s postseason run last year, attending every Chiefs playoff game in early 2024. She braved frigid temperatures in Kansas City when the Chiefs defeated the Miami Dolphins in the wild card round in January 2024. She then traveled to Buffalo, New York, to see the Chiefs beat the Buffalo Bills. After the team bested the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game in Baltimore later that month, Swift celebrated with Kelce on the field at M&T Bank Stadium.

In February 2024, Swift made headlines when she journeyed from Tokyo to Las Vegas to attend the Super Bowl amid her busy tour schedule. She once again joined Kelce on the field after the Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers at Allegiant Stadium, before the couple went on to party publicly in Las Vegas with their friends and family following the victory.
This year’s playoffs will continue with the conference championships on January 26 and the Super Bowl on February 9.

The pop superstar was spotted in the stands cheering on the Chiefs alongside other fans, wearing a custom Chiefs jersey with Kelce’s number on it. Swift and Kelce have been friends for years, with the football player even making a cameo in Swift’s music video for her song “The Man.”
Fans were thrilled to see Swift in attendance at the game, and many took to social media to share their excitement. Some even spotted Swift dancing and singing along to the music during breaks in the game.
While the Chiefs ultimately came out victorious with a 42-31 win over the Texans, it was clear that Swift’s presence added an extra level of excitement to the already intense matchup.
