Team India Starts Sydney Test On A Disastrous Note

Team India, which already lost two test matches in a row in the ongoing Border Gavaskar Trophy, has started the fifth and final test match at Sydney Cricket Ground on a disastrous note. It got all-out for mere 185 runs in the first innings. People thought Rohit Sharma’s absence would help team in making a strong comeback but India was poor without him too.

As captain Rohit Sharma opted out due to his poor performance, Jasprit Bumrah wore the skipper’s hat this time. While Shubman Gill replaced Rohit, Prasidh Krishna came in the place of injured Akash Deep. Everyone thought India would make a strong comeback as Bumrah returned to captaincy after winning the first test. However, the first day was a disappointment.

After winning the toss, Bumrah chose to bat first. However, it got a poor start as openers Jaiswal and Rahul got out pretty early. Only Rishab Pant (40) played a responsible innings but it lasted very short. Bumrah’s (22) cameo in the end didn’t help either. As a result, India got all-out for just 185.

Scott Boland (4/31) picked up four wickets, while Mitchell Starc (3/49) and Pat Cummins (2/37) took three and two wickets respectively. After this disastrous start, it has to be seen if India makes a strong comeback later in the test.

In a shocking turn of events, Team India has started the Sydney Test on a disastrous note. The team, which was hoping to bounce back after a tough loss in the previous match, has struggled right from the start.

The Indian batsmen have failed to make an impact, with key players getting out early and the middle order crumbling under pressure. The Australian bowlers have been relentless, making it difficult for the Indian batsmen to score runs.

On the other hand, the Indian bowlers have also struggled to contain the Australian batsmen, who have been scoring runs at will. The fielding has been sloppy, with dropped catches and misfields costing the team dearly.

With the odds stacked against them, Team India will need to regroup and come up with a solid plan to turn things around in the remaining days of the match. The fans are hoping for a miraculous comeback, but it will take a lot of effort and determination from the team to salvage the situation.

Stay tuned for more updates on Team India’s performance in the Sydney Test. Let’s hope they can turn things around and make a strong comeback! #TeamIndia #SydneyTest #CricketUpdates
