Bond, an Alabama transfer, has 33 receptions, 532 yards and five touchdowns in his first season with the Longhorns. Bond provides quarterback Quinn Ewers and the Texas offense with a deep-play threat, as he averages 16.1 yards per reception, tied for the second-most on the team.

Isaiah Bond injury update
Bond was seen warming up ahead of Texas’ quarterfinal matchup with Arizona State. ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported before the game that the Longhorns receiver was expected to play on Wednesday.
Bond missed the Longhorns’ first-round victory over Clemson due to his ankle injury in the SEC championship game against Georgia on Dec. 7. Texas coach Steve Sarkisian had confirmed that Bond was practicing ahead of Wednesday’s Peach Bowl with his ankle injury.
The junior receiver had 48 catches for 668 yards and four touchdowns last season for the Crimson Tide, including a clutch catch to clinch Alabama’s miracle victory over Auburn in the Iron Bowl to clinch a spot in the SEC championship game.
Texas Longhorns wide receiver Jordan Whittington is expected to suit up and play in the upcoming matchup against Arizona State this weekend. The sophomore standout missed the last few games due to injury but has been cleared to return to the field.
Whittington is a key playmaker for the Longhorns offense, known for his speed, agility, and sure hands. His return will provide a much-needed boost to the team as they look to secure a win against a tough Arizona State defense.
Fans are excited to see Whittington back in action and are hopeful that his presence on the field will help lead the Longhorns to victory. Be sure to tune in to the game this weekend to watch Whittington and the Longhorns take on Arizona State. #HookEm
