Andorra is a tiny European country that borders France and Spain. It’s the 16th smallest country by landmass, covering just 181 square miles. The population is a mere 80,856 people as of 2023, according to the World Health Organization. The banking, insurance, and other aspects of the financial market are among the country’s major industries. The result is a tiny country with a wealthy population.
An infographic (below) reveals the best-selling vehicles in Andorra in 2024, and the results are fascinating. For example, Porsche delivered just 210 models in the country, but this was enough volume to be the second-most sold brand in the country. Mercedes narrowly won with a volume of 231 units.

The Porsche 911 Is A Best-Seller In Andorra
The even bigger surprise was the list of bestselling individual models. The Porsche 911 led the way by moving 83 units, which was up 41 percent from last year. Here’s another shock: the Toyota GR Yaris was in second place with 47 deliveries – a 135-percent increase from 2023.
Porsche also found success with the Cayenne and Macan because they were in third and fourth place, respectively. Not all of the models were so premium, the compact, comparatively inexpensive Suzuki Ignis took tenth place, with just 35 deliveries.
Despite being the best-selling marque in Andorra, Mercedes didn’t have a single individual model that made it onto the top ten list of vehicle sales. In such a small market, the company can sell a few products from throughout the lineup and still top the sales charts.
For context, the total vehicle deliveries in Andorra were 2,379 units in 2024. Car sales in the country were down seven percent versus 2023.

A Great Year For Porsche
Andorra is such a tiny market that selling 83 911s is probably just a blip on the brand’s financial ledger. For example, Porsche delivered 14,128 units of the 911 in the United States in 2024, which was a sales record for the model in the country.
Globally, Porsche delivered 310,718 vehicles in 2024 – three percent less than in 2023. China was the only region where sales dipped, with a 28 percent drop in volume. Porsche cited the “continuing challenging economic situation” there as the reason for the drop in numbers.
