Toledo man accused of pistol whipping woman, shooting at her and stealing car
TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Police arrested a Toledo man who allegedly shot at a woman and took her car.
De’Mario White, 20, of Toledo, was wanted for an alleged assault and robbery on Dec. 18. Police issued a warrant for his arrest, which was returned on Dec. 23, records show.
Police affidavits allege White pistol whipped a woman he knows during an argument, causing a contusion to her eye. He then allegedly fired several rounds into the air, turned and fired at the woman. A bullet grazed her leg, police said. Charging documents went on to say that he took the victim’s car after he fired the shots.
He was in court on Dec. 26 where a judge set a $50,000 bond on charges of Felonious Assault and Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon.
