Gladiator II will be available to buy or rent on Prime beginning December 24. Y2K will also be available to rent or buy on Prime beginning December 24. It tells the story of two high school juniors who crash a New Year’s Eve party on the last night of 1999, only to find themselves fighting for their lives when the terror of Y2K becomes a reality and all machines rise up against humanity. The film stars Rachel Zegler, Jaeden Martell, Julien Dennison, Lachlan Watson, Eduardo Franco, Mason Gooding, Kyle Mooney, and Alicia Silverstone.
A Quiet Place: Day One will be available to stream on Prime beginning December 30. This film is the prequel to the 2018 film A Quiet Place. It tells the story of a woman and other survivors trying to find a way to safety when New York City is attacked by an alien invasion . They soon learn that they must remain absolutely silent as the mysterious creatures are drawn to the slightest sound. The film stars Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff, and Djimon Hounsou.
The new Christmas special Doctor Who: Joy to the World will premiere on Disney+ on December 25. The special will follow Joy as she opens a secret doorway to the Time Hotel and discovers danger, dinosaurs, and the Doctor. But a deadly plan is unfolding across the Earth, just in time for Christmas. The special stars Ncuti Gatwa and Nicola Coughlan.
Squid Game is finally coming back for a second season, which will premiere its first 7 episodes on Netflix on December 26. This season will feature new games with main character Gi-hun entering once again 3 years later.
